What is a more classic grandpa activity than sitting in your favorite chair and watching TV
#my friend's grandpa is 101. and was born in 'french indo-china' and has seen some shit.#he apparently never talks about it even though everybody knows. i kinda get that.#i met him twice bc while ive been out w him a few times my friend had smth to drop off & i was invited in#both times his grandfather was sitting in that same chair. watching his chinese operas. god bless#that's my grandfather but w football. and the volume turned up to the max and the subtitles on#(he's extremely hard of hearing)#text post#this is ok to reblog and talk in the tags about your grandpa's favorite chair and what he watched on tv#my grandfather was pretty romantic though... when my grandmother was alive he would let HER sit in his chair#if he was somewhere else in the house or whatever#my grandmother had Her Chair too don't get me wrong#both by the windowsill next to the front door#tv on the wall perpendicular#but his chair. was just better. it could stick the feet up. it could RECLINE#eventually she got her own reclining chair but sometimes she'd still sit in his cuz that was her man's spot#alpha female move
