thinking about the parallels between RC and sejm and how claire is always the one who leaves, never by her choice
#it's the way claire bonded with sherry & leon but then left and missed out on so much of their lives#and how she cares deeply for moira and feels compelled to save natalia as well but ends up leaving them both on the island#not bc she wanted to in both instances she just wasn't really given any other choice and both times it led her to safety#both leon & moira telling her to go on even tho they were in tough spots and dangerous situations#the way she looks down the tower and into the sea begging god to help bc this will just be another disappointment#except this time there won't be any person left to secretly resent her bc claire's negativity probably had her thinking moira was dead#THE RELIEF when both moira & natalia are alive and relatively well the way claire apologises for being a let down#we don't talk enough about claire's trauma that woman is filled with guilt since she was 19
