local business during the pandemic & occupation: we have no respect for our community or our customers and we're gonna keep shouting about it
local community: ok we'll get our ice cream somewhere else
local business now through crocodile tears: we're at risk of going out of business because the community hates us and keeps bullying us so we've laid off everyone and demand you feel sorry for us but we stand by everything we said and did during the pandemic and occupation why does everyone hate us

#FAFO. reap what you sow. you made your bed. play stupid games. etc etc#i feel bad for the people who lost their jobs during the holidays#but i do not feel bad for this business owner in the fucking slightest#she gleefully publicly funded my torture and the torture of tens of thousands of my neighbours and she can fucking rot in hell#but i'll settle for her losing her business#in general i'm not super keen on capitalism but the free market has spoken#you made a statement. the community responded accordingly.#also not to be 'i never liked them anyway' about it#(especially since i've never had ice cream at any of these places. i'm basing this on reputation & friends' enthusiastic reviews)#but Moo Shu and Merry Dairy are far superior#both in terms of quality of ice cream and in pillar-of-the-community-ness
