kinda cool how “universe” can be be shortened to “verse” and mean specifically a made up universe. i wonder if in the future one of those fun language facts that get passed around will be that, actually, verse (like poetry) and verse (fictional universe) are less etymologically related than you think, even though they’re spelled just the same!
