Honestly I think a realistic Geralt / Dettlaff situation would initially just involve a lot of intense glaring and snide remarks and slowly evolve into “Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better”. Regis eventually has to put his foot down and stop them from doing increasingly dangerous and stupid stunts while trying to impress one up one another.
