#sola said#ARC ONE FINALE OF THELADYTH CAMPAIGN#WE MADE IT#there's something going on with the gods and they're not answering. the traitor didn't succeed but not for any reason we can tell—the demons#aren't answering him either any more than the gods are answering us. n's house is sundered and her cousin betrayed them and they had to look#him in the eye as she slid her sword into his chest.#both clerics of the god of war look at each other unsure and war-weary already but the empress is at their door and so they have no choice#really and so they open the doors of the temple to her and theladyth is once more an empire at war.#I WAS NOT EXPECTING US TO MAKE IT#sailed through a storm + dungeon crawl + raced across the city + boss fight against N's cousin + boss fight on temple hill#all in one in game day#absolutely terrifying to be the primary healer going into the boss fight with two spell slots. total.#i think by the end of that literally everyone was on single digits of HP#having to make the decision whether to stabilize folks against the 5% chance of a nat 1 or hoping they hit the 5% chance of popping back up#on a nat 20 because that's better than what i can do for them! terrifying!#god. if anything had gone a little bit more wrong that very well could have been tpk. the adrenaline of this is off the charts#i'm having so much fun but also AAAAAAAA#theladyth#hathym
