Homeschool. Not to be confused with I’m letting him learn what he’s ‘interested’ in, fly by the seat of my pants, disorder, chaotic mess, or worse no schooling at all. As a business woman, former educator and health coach I really hold high my standards of learning - why wouldn’t I do the same for my only son?! This year #littlemusicman , at just 5 years of age, will embark on a cool new school journey-1st grade work! 🤩By the end of the year he’s going to be counting by 2’s, 3’s and 5’s, reciting addition/subtraction facts up to 13, able to complete 3 digit addition problems, begin sentences with capital letters (and other places where capital letters are appropriate, use correct punctuation), including creative writing ✍🏻 😮 and learning Spanish- just to name a few things. Honestly, the thought makes me a little🤢. I’m nervous, scared, excited and intrigued! Can’t wait to share our experiences: Me, as I navigate my new business launch, 🚀 planning and teaching 👩🏻‍🏫 and of course being a health coach and fun events with my awesome groups of women I know and work/network with!! And, #littlemusicman in his lessons- how we help him learn- his struggles, and victories- his fun extra curricular activities...
