BORN INTO THE SEVEN'S RULER OF DEVILDOM
CHAPTER 1 ----- HOW I WAS BORN
Everyone knows they have no memory of how they were born.
But none of them experienced birth like I did. That's what I thought at first.
When I took in my surroundings: three dark little blobs with a pointy mouth, colorful eyes, and a strange laugh. My awareness was tenfold that of an adult, even with the obvious baby body.
I seemed to be in an old cottage. There’s other little dark blobs working around the cottage. What are they?
One blob with blue eyes laughed. "Khekhekhee."
I blinked at the blob. They made weird voices that I couldn't understand. One thing was sure: these blobs were the ones taking care of me. Are they my servants? Where’s my parents?
A year later,
With the help of the blobs, I was able to walk. From crawling to walking, they were at my side, helping me stay balanced. They made noises that looked like cheering.
"Behbeeb."
"Keddekefn!"
"Heuheeuh!"
My consciousness was still that of an adult. So it was a relief I could walk. Lying down all day in bed is so boring. For the whole day I played with the blobs.
Four years passed,
The blobs celebrated my fifth birthday with mud cake. A simple white candle adorned it, and I blew it out. The blobs clapped and gave me a backpack.
I gasped. "Can I go?"
"Kehekehehe!"
"Bleeprbeee!!"
Apparently, I had a past life. I regained my memories when I was four. Those memories were blurry and fragmented. In my memory, the world I lived in has day and night. In this world, there was no sunlight. It had been night every day.
It was obvious I was transported to another world. I needed to do some research. The blops will be taking me to the city for my fifth birthday. The house I lived in was located in the middle of a swamp forest. The blobs seemed to know I had intelligence beyond my age and agreed.
The blobs disguised themselves in robes. Together, they formed arms, legs, body, and one head tall enough to be considered an adult. Together, we ventured out of the swamp forest and headed towards the city.
The blobs carry me all the way, taking turns. When we saw the city, it was surrounded by mountains, with houses lined up, and at the far side stood a giant black castle.
I gulped at the sight. The sky was dark with twinkling stars, and the castle was so high it seemed to reach the sky. The castle is like a dark fairy tale where villains lived. I tightened my grip on the blob's robe, and they comfort me by rubbing my cheek. I giggled and nodded, and we continued.
As soon as we arrived in the city, I knew where I was.
This is Hell!!!
The people passing by had horns and tails attached. Some had wings like bats as they flew above the city. I saw ghosts roaming around with the same shape as the blobs, ghosts shaped like humans wandering like normal.
It was a different kind of Hell, not the one my world interpreted as being full of fire and sinners being punished. It was an underground world, peaceful yet alien at the same time.
"Khehegege!" The blob spoke, and I nodded. We arrived at our first destination, the library.
The blobs played along as I read in the corner of the shop. I was worried we'd be suspicious, but fortunately, the keeper seemed uninterested in us and sat behind the counter, scrolling on what I recognized as a computer.
I read about the worlds I lived in. The world had three realms: Devildom, where I currently was, the place where demons, lingering ghosts, and sinners resided; the Celestial realm, where the God of Light and angels lived; and the human realm, where all living humans resided. With my past memories, it seemed that I used to be a human in a human realm.
So, I'm a sinner?
The answer was no. When humans die, they either go to the Celestial Realm or Devildom. In Devildom, they would've become lingering ghosts that served the demons or sinners that had to receive punishment for their deeds in life.
Well, I'm not a ghost or a sinner.
Am I a demon?
"Blops?" I called for them, and they quickly gathered by my side.
"Behbeeb."
"Heuheeuh!"
I pointed at myself. "Am I a demon?"
The blobs shook their heads, and I tilted mine.
The blob with blue eyes took the book I was reading. He showed illustrations of three species in the three realms: angels, humans, and demons. The blob pointed to a demon and a human, then put their tiny hands together.
My eyes widened. "I'm a human and a demon?"
The blobs nodded.
The first nephilim after a millennium was born.
Ah, what was that word? A memory flashed in where I was in my bed, reading from a small box. An android. Did I read something?
It seemed like an important memory, but I couldn't recall it no matter how hard I tried. I needed to find out more. I search for more books.
Five hours passed.
"Heuheeuh!"
"Khehegege!"
The blobs pulled my attention away from the book I was reading. It was time to go home.
The blobs put on their coats, and we walked out. The owner simply ignored us all the way. The bookstore door jingled as we closed it behind us.
That's when I noticed demons and ghosts seemed cheering as if a famous person had arrived. I looked up to see who it was when the blobs suddenly carried me away from the main street into a hidden alley.
"Blops?" I asked, and they shushed me all together. Then I heard voices from the main street.
"Alright! Alright! Get away! We're trying to go home here!"
From the alley, we see a blond handsome demon with black uniforms, followed by another demon with the same clothes but in a different style.
They're all so handsome! They feel different than the demons I have passed by. They seem to have a different aura that makes them more admirable. Are they that famous?
"Satan, Satan~ Don't push your admirers like that!" a demon with pink hair said and blew a kiss to the crowds.
Satan? That's his name?
They both had only one resemblance: wrath.
Ah, were those words I read in the same book?
"Don't touch me, Asmo. I'm in a bad mood," Satan replied and pushed him away, the demon pouted.
...
Asmo?
Why does the name seem familiar?
"It's a collar with your name written on it," Asmodeus grinned like a cat. "Make sure to wear it!"
Again, my memory flooded with written words that I may have read. But what? What did I read about real demons here, when I was a human in my past life?
"Asmo, leave Satan alone."
Another demon with a deep dark voice made me turn my head. The demon's voice belonged to the tallest one with dark hair and red eyes like blood. His appearance made me shiver, and my feet struggled to stand. The blobs hid me further into their united bodies, blocking my sight from the group. I could still hear them when the demon named Satan exclaimed.
"Fuck off, Lucifer!"
My heart skipped a beat at the name, and the memories flooded in.
Lucifer, the demon of all demons, succeeded in impregnating her.
I closed my mouth and held my breath, fear settling in me. I wanted them to go away, right now! The group seemed to be silent for a moment when another one voiced out.
"Yo, Lucifer! Ya alright? What ya lookin' at that alley?"
My heart skipped, fear of getting caught. I clutched the blobs tightly, praying they wouldn't come here. A moment that felt like an eternity. The demon responded to its group.
"I thought I heard a rat."
Then the group moved on, their voices fade in the distance. Later, the blobs looked out of the alley. The coast was clear, and they carried me, running away from the city.
I sat on my bed with a thoughtful expression. The blobs were concerned as they cooked and did chores. A few of them tried to play with me, but I was lost in my own thoughts.
I replayed the memories that flooded in. Though they weren't all clear, I had a conclusion.
I was isekai'd to a world in a book. The title was "Kristin in the Harem of the Seven Demon Lords." Like its title, a human named Kristin was brought to Devildom against her will and had to survive through the temptation of the seven demon lords, who were brothers and avatars of the seven sins.
The seventh brother, Belphegor, the Avatar of Sloth.
The sixth brother, Beelzebub, the Avatar of Gluttony.
The fifth brother, Asmodeus, the Avatar of Lust.
The fourth brother, Satan, the Avatar of Wrath.
The third brother, Leviathan, the Avatar of Envy.
The second brother, Mammon, the Avatar of Greed.
The first brother, Lucifer, the fallen angel, the Avatar of Pride. My father. The one who succeeded in seducing the human Kristin and impregnating her.
I was in shambles with the ending. Lucifer had kicked Kristin out, banished to the swamp and died giving birth. The baby survived and was named Leilel by Kristin, and that baby is me.
I'm Leilel Morningstar, the child of Lucifer.
I felt my face filled with tears. The blops gathered around in concern, but I pushed them away and wrapped myself into a blanket burrito. I cried and cried, wanting to deny the reality I am in.
I’m in hell.

Chapter 5 --- First Day at School
The school quickly descended into chaos as all the demons talked about the new humans, their conversations soon turning to the previous humans in the program.
"Why didn't Diavolo invite Solomon?"
"Perhaps due to the incident with the human girl who was killed."
"Do you think there might be an 'accident' involving the human girl?"
"Ahaha! That would be quite dramatic!"
"Just another nephilim they have to deal with!"
Fuck.
Fuck, fuck, FUCK!
That's all I could think of as I walked toward my classroom. This is messed up, absolutely messed up. Why in the world would Diavolo start the exchange again? After thirteen years, at the same year I enrolled?! What kind of stupid fate is this?! Ugh. Whoever God from up there or down here must’ve hated me. Why do these things keep happening to me?!!!
"Ah!" My foot caught something, and I fell face-first.
A group of demons laughed at me.
"Ahaha! Watch where you're going," the demon kicked my side. I let out an 'uf' as I felt another demon put their boots on my back, holding me down.
"Argh!" Fuck! Fuck! Oh, how fate truly hates me.
"Iuuu... She has some sort of weird smell."
"What do you expect from a swamp demon?” I felt the demon lift his boot. I tightly closed my eyes, waiting for the pain.
“Hey!”
I looked up from the floor, my view only to a familiar pair of white high-heeled boots.
“You low-born demons, it’s the third bell! I will not have you punk demons ruin Diavolo’s precious academy on the first day,” Mephistopheles scolded.
The demon who has his boots on me turned to Mephisto. I slowly lifted myself up, surprised at Mephistopheles defending me.
“Fuck off Mephist-”
Mephistopheles lifted his cane to the demon’s neck, silencing him. The demon gulped.
“With the new human exchange students, it is ordered that there will be no fighting between students.” Mephisto stepped forward, pushing the demon into the wall, his purple aura flowing from his hand through his cane. “So you better follow that order, or I’ll put you on the list of Diavolo’s enemies.”
“What-!”
Mephisto struck his neck with the end of the cane. The demon doubled over, coughing.
“Understood?”
The demon coughed and nodded. Mephisto gave a glare and his friends pulled him away, leaving me and Mephistopheles in the hallway. I placed my hand over my side, emitting a healing power. I felt Mephistopheles staring at me.
I should say thank you. “Um, tha-”
“Don’t,” Mephisto cut me off. “I will need you in good shape to show me the warehouse, correct?”
Oh. Right. I nodded.
“Good, now quickly get to your class,” he lightly pushed my leg with his cane. I flinched and glared at him. He smiled back and walked to his class.
I sigh relief. I choose a great demon to be my support. For now.
I gave myself a few minutes to let the healing power work through my back. Then I lifted myself up and went to my first class, History of Devildom. I had memorized the classes I take in this building, and I was able to arrive in time. I sighed with relief as I took my seat. Luckily, no one seemed to care about me. And… I looked around the classroom. No demon brothers.
Yes!
A woman walked in, small pointy red horns on her head, short white hair, and a scowl on her face.
"Sit DOWN!" she shouted to the whole class. Of course, she would be the teacher. The student take their seat as the teacher scold. "As it is mandatory to introduce myself, even though you punk demons don't need another History Lesson 101 all over the decades because you're all lazy punks!"
She lifted her index finger, with long red sharp nails that could reach the ceiling. She scratched it on the blackboard behind her.
SCREEECH, SCREECH, SCREEECH,
I closed my ears and gritted my teeth. The teacher spelled out on the blackboard her name, "Miss Viles."
"Now, all of you will address me as Miss Viles! Or else!" she pulled out a metal ruler and snapped it. A crackling sound burst through the room like thunder, but there was no lightning. Thankfully, I'm already used to the sound in the swamp. "And! I do not tolerate-!"
"OIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
I jolted in my seat. That familiar voice... A demon behind me whispered, "Oh no, it's the scumbag greed brothers."
My eyes widened. The greedy scummy brother would be-!
Running steps were heard approaching from the hallway. Miss Viles groaned and held the door. When the demon stepped into the doorframe, she slammed it.
"GAH!!!"
I blinked my eyes, a demon sprawled on the floor. He had messy white hair. He was the avatar of greed, Mammon.
"HEY! I could've smashed the door, professor!" Mammon protested.
The demons behind me murmured, disappointed that Mammon didn't get slammed. That was obvious; Mammon had speed no demon in the realm could match.
Miss Viles glared. "Mammon, I will not repeat myself! Come to class on time!"
Mammon waved his hand. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got ya!"
A knock on the door, and it opened, revealing a cute tan girl with brown hair. “Um, Ma-Mammon?"
I gasped. She’s one of the human exchange students!
“Ah! You must be Carina, right?”
“Ye-yes,” Carina stepped into the classroom, offering her hand. “Nice to meet-”
“I see you’ve already rubbed off on Mammon’s behavior,” Miss Viles ignored her hand. Carina slowly put her hand away with a frown. “Just because he is your caretaker doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be late for my class!” She slapped her ruler, making a thundering noise. Carina yelped.
“I-I-I’m sorry! Please don't kill me!” Carina bowed her back in fear. Students behind me snickered and laughed.
Oh no. This is just a repeat of what happened to Kristin. Bullied, mocked, threatened to be eaten. Not to mention, her caretaker was the same demon Mam-
“Eeep!!!”
The said demon had his face close to mine, staring at me. I was frozen in my seat, scared to death.
"Yo! Miss Viles! Who is this demon?"
What is he doing?? What does he want?! Did he realize??!!
Miss Viles blew her mouth. “Oh, that’s just the new baby demon from the swamp.”
“Wait!” Mammon banged the table, and I stood up, stepping back from my seat. “You’re the youngest demon?!”
“Uh-uh-uh, yeah?” Oh no, he must’ve realized I’m Leilel! FUCKING SHIT! I need to escape through the window!
"Oh yeah, you're the same age as-" Mammon suddenly stopped. He frowned at me, clicked his tongue, and sat in his chair. The whole class went quiet.
What's going on? Just a moment ago, Mammon was bothering me and now the whole class went dead silents. I glance at from the corner of my eyes, the whole students closed their mouth as if being sewed.
Miss Viles sense the discomfort, clears her throat, and clapped her hands. "Well, I guess that’s enough chaos. Let’s start class."
I sat back into my chair, dreadful and nervous. The classroom table is for three people, and I’m sitting with the poor human Carina and demon Lord Mammon.
Oh, God, why do you hate me so much?
My heart beating so fast it may have fallen out of my ribcage. My hand sweats like a pig. I take a slow deep breath. Distracting myself with the professor's lecture. I look from the corner of my eyes. Mammon was leaning over his crossed arms, yawning. He seemed to be bored out of his mind and ignoring everyone around him. I sighed in relief.
Then a quill tapped on my book. “Hey, I’m Carina, what’s your name?”
I flinch. Fuck. Quite bold this human wants to introduce herself to a demon on the first day. Very unfortunate that demon is me. If I become acquainted with Carina, I will be involved in Diavolo’s and the Seven Brothers' twisted game. They would let Carina be friends with me, then make me the evil demon who's out to eat this girl while the demon brothers protect her. It’s how they tricked Kristin and gained her favor.
And it’s going to happen again. I gritted my teeth and turn back to my book. I ignore her. I can’t get involved with her. Never.
I hear Carina let out a disappointed sigh. I clenched my pen. My consciousness was heavy with guilt. I'm really sorry. But her fate here had been predestined. And there’s nothing I would and could do. I'm still trying my hardest to survive here, and it's not been easy. Not without my blops though.
I exhales through my nose. I miss them already.
Suddenly Carina leaned on me, looking at my book. "Hum... La-mi? Lami?!"
I closed my book with a loud thud. For a human, she doesn't have a decency to keep a person's private space and business. Great. This kind of human would easily go down at least in a month.
I was about to scold her. "You...!" I stop as I saw the surprised look on her face, as if she can't believe what she's seeing in front of her. Her eyes cast down and up to my face. I blink. Why is she...?
Then her mouth curved into a grin like the Cheshire cat. “Wow, Lami” Carina mumbled with a smile. She giggled. “You’re thirteen, right? That makes me older than you.”
My left eyes twitch, shiver all over my back. Is this human a creep?
“What are you two talking about?”
I almost jumped in my seat when Mammon interrupted us.
Carina giggled. “Oh, I’m just introducing myself. Lami is so shy~” she gave me a weird smile. All the hair on my neck stood up.
What is this?
“Ik!” Mammon exclaimed. “Why would you wanna be friends with a demon from the swamp? They're the lowest of the lowest demons.”
Carina gasped. “Ma-Mammon!”
I rolled my eyes and returned to my book. A tan hand blocked my book with his palm. It was Mammon looming over me with a smirk.
“Not even the lowest demon wants to live there. You must’ve loved the smell, huh? I hope you shower twice cause I ain’t smellin - BUH!"
A board eraser smacked into Mammon’s head, and he fell backward into his seat.
“Kyaaaa!!!” Carina screamed.
“Human! Quiet! Mammon! Pay attention to the class! You've been in this class for decades! I had ENOUGH!" Miss Viles turned at me with a glare. "You!" She point her really-really long nails at me. I gulp. "I knew a demon from a swamp will have no manners whatsoever. So I'm going to assign you three, to DETENTION!" she slap her ruler to our table, creating a thunder sound over the class.
Carina scream loudly into my ears, hiding under the table like a mouse. Mammon was still on the floor, maybe passed out. The whole class laugh and mock us until Viles silents them. Then she went back to her lecture with a huff.
I take deep breaths, deep breaths, deep breaths. My heart may as well going to heart attack. How I wish it would happen. How I wish I was dead and send to Celestial Realm.
"I hate first day at school."
RRRIIIING!!!
The first bell rings for the next period, and I swiftly exit the class, my feet carrying me away.
“Ah, ah! Lami!”
It's Carina calling me. I keep running. Though the guilty conscience still lingers at the back of my mind, asking me if I'm going to let what happened to Kristin happen again.
I shake my head. No, I can't do that. I can't help anyone but myself. I keep running toward the RAD newspaper office.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
Mephistopheles has his arms crossed, scowling at me. “Detention? On the first day?”
I frown as I open the map of Devildom. “It wasn’t my fault, it was that dumb greedy demon, Mammon!”
“Yet, you got yourself involved with that demon?” Mephistopheles clicks his tongue. I scrunch my face in anger. Demons. Why did I even bother defending myself? I take a deep breath, settling my anger down. After I relax, I focused on the map, pointing at a location.
“Here.”
Mephistopheles looks over the map, his frown deepening. “The park?! Are you insane? A thousand years of searching for the rebellion's illegal operation is there?!”
“It is there, just hidden.” I rummage through my satchel and pull out a small dual-sided standing mirror. “See the forest behind the park? It’s an illusion. They used this ancient spell, a double mirror, reflecting what they recorded in the mirror and making it like a big whole projector.”
I demonstrate with my mirror, reflecting the fireplace. The first side captures the fireplace like a picture with a camera. Mephistopheles watches silently. Then I turn to the second side, facing the other side of the room. The reflection now shows the door as a fireplace.
Mephistopheles gasps, standing over his couch. “I’ve, I’ve seen this spell,” he points to the mirror. “If we had walked through the line where the mirror is placed,” Mephisto steps to the fireplace, touching it. “Everything becomes real.”
I nod. “That’s why none of you can find the place.”
Of course, I know this from the novel. The chapter tells how one of the rebellion demon approach Kristin, offering her an escape from Devildom. In exchange, Kristin would give them a key to Lucifer’s real Cerberus at the basement of the House of Lamentation. Since their operation is based on recreating the demon dog Cerberus, they would need the blood of the real Cerberus. After a while, Kristin decided not to continue, not wanting to cause chaos in Devildom.
Stupid girl.
The novel said she trusted those brothers, giving them a second chance to redeem themselves. Yeah. Where are you now, huh, Kristin? Buried in the unknown dirt of Devildom, leaving me behind.
I grit my teeth and clench my hand on my lap, trying hard not to let it show on my face. So I scrunch my face and exhale.
Mephistopheles doesn’t seem to notice me, busy taking notes and talking to himself.
“Alright, alright,” He taps his notepad. “I’ll be with reinforcement to see if this is real.” He looks at me seriously. “If we find nothing, I’ll personally escort you to Barbatos's torture room at the Demon Castle.”
Hearing Mephisto threat made my heart stop for a second. Oh, fuck. Do I really want to risk my life with a novel I just read through the internet?
Fuck this. I close my eyes and nod.
“Good, if you try to escape,” I suddenly feel a weight around my wrist. Mephistopheles' mark shines, creating a shackle around it. “The mark will be your chains, is that clear?”
I gulp down my throat. Since when is he able to do this? I nod again, praying to God above to let my plan goes well.

Chapter 6 --- I'm still in Hell
Three days later, the students of RAD are in an uproar. Every demon has the newest newspaper. The front page is loudly written:
"MEPHISTOPHELES, THE TRUE LOYAL LORD TO THE CROWN OF DEVILDOM, DIAVOLO, CERBERUS BREEDING IS SHUT DOWN!"
I stared at the title with bored eyes. So loudmouthed. Then I read the columns.
The Cerberus Breeding. An operation built by the Demon Lord, Jezelbub, who rebelled against the crown Prince of Devildom, Lord Diavolo. For almost a decade, this operation had been going on under the noses of Lord Diavolo's reign. Entrusted to the Seven Demon Brothers, who had no result at all....
I snorted at that. It's obvious Mephistopheles is mocking the demon brothers.
The demon brothers had only found small clues, a clean scene, unreliable eyewitnesses, yet thousands of hell dog homeowners still went missing due to the operation.
Now, homeowners' pets may rejoice thanks to the greatness and true demon from the House of Lords, Mephistopheles.
"IS SHUT DOWN!" shouted from the picture of Mephistopheles in front of the warehouse.
"Hm," I mumbled, feeling a little satisfied that Mephistopheles' hatred toward the Demon Brothers ran so deep that he wrote about them being deemed as useless. I smirked, then neatly folded the paper and carefully put it in my satchel, making my way to the colosseum for Mephistopheles' award.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
"GIVE IT UP FOR MEPHISTOPHELES!!!"
I covered my ears, laughed, and clapped my hands with the other students as they cheered and chanted Mephisto's name as he ascended the stage. Pride evident in his steps and a big smile adorning his face, he laughed and waved at the crowd. Diavolo accompanied him, shaking his hands, while flying cameras with bat wings captured their photo.
"Demons of Devildom, may I present," Diavolo gestured to Barbatos, who was carrying a big red box. It opened to reveal a golden crown of thorns. "The Bright Thorn of Devildom!"
The crowd gasped in awe at the magnificent crown and clapped their hands. I too was amazed. The crown was only bestowed upon the most devoted demons who had contributed to the Crown Heir of Devildom's works. I don't know if the Seven Brothers had ever receive this. Did they?
Wow. Just my information could lead Mephisto to receive this? I need to ask for more favors from him.
Diavolo then crowned Mephistopheles. He thanked his Lordship, and Diavolo allowed him to take the podium for his speech. The crowd cheered as Mephistopheles did.
Mephisto raised his hand to silence the crowd. "Now, all students of RAD, I could not be credited for all of this," Mephisto said. "For it is the loyalty of our Crown Prince, Lord Diavolo, that has pushed me to the limit. As such..."
Mephisto continued, bragging about his loyalty, all for the glory of Lord Diavolo. I shook my head. The book talked about Mephisto being absolutely in awe of Diavolo. Seeing him in real life on stage, green eyes sparkling with admiration, like a kid looking up to his idol. It's kind of cute.
...
What the... What am I thinking? I shook my head. Maybe because the adult mind inside me. I may be thirteen, but added with my first life, I should've been thirty years old at least. So I'm way much older on the inside. I huff through my nose.
No Leilel, not with a demon. Never with a-
Suddenly, my body shivered in a different sense. I look up and my eyes caught the demon at the far corner of the stage, Lucifer. His deep red eyes bore into me.
It's like an arrow shoot right into my chest. I held my breath in fear, feeling like a predator being cornered by its prey. Lucifer red eyes look deep into my soul, sucking all the life in me. I clench my fist at my side and move away, slowly. Away from his peering gaze and turned back. I sneaked out from the crowd, exiting the colosseum.
I didn't feel his stare again, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
I decided to hide in Mephistopheles' office. I'm sure he won't mind. We still had some business to do. Like changing my shackle. My wrist felt heavy and felt like being cut off. Mephistopheles has to change the term on the seal he put on my wrist. Soon, it'll be a protection spell.
I was almost fell asleep on the expensive vintage couch, when the door of the office bursts open.
"Forgive me, fellas, I have business to take care of." Mephisto says to the demons who had come to admire him. He must have noticed me and kept the door ajar to hide me.
"Aww, Mephisto, another work to do?"
"You’ve solved one of the highest operations, and you're still gonna work?"
"Celebrate, man!"
"I’m sorry, it's just this one deal I had to take care of. Goodbye!" Mephisto slams the door. He sighs and turns at me with a smile. "Now, where were we?" he stride around the room and takes a seat across from me. Unlike the other day, his smile is genuine, like a salesman to his biggest client. His eyes lit up. "Oh! I forgot! I should offer my guest a beverage!"
He starts to stand when I stop him. "No need, let's discuss our deal first."
Mephistopheles stop and sighs as he sits back. He doesn’t seem to like this. Well, he was cocky enough to accuse me of being one of the rebels. Mephistopheles leans forward, hands folded over his lap, and say the demon's magic word. "Well, what do you desire, Lami?"
I bit my lower lips, remembering Lucifer's red eyes at the colosseum "First of all, did you tell Lucifer about me?"
"Wha-no!" Mephisto huffs, leaning back on his coach. "I kept my promise!" I glower at him. Mephistopheles pursed his lips and asks, "Still, I wonder, why wouldn’t you take any credit for this?"
"Because that’s where our deal will be." I answer and lean forward. "I want your support and protection from any demons in this school who would bother my school life, and that includes the seven lords."
Mephistopheles' eyes widen, and he strokes his chin in thought. "The other demons, I get that. But why the seven lords?"
I almost rolled my eyes. Still suspicious, huh? I can't tell him that I'm Lucifer's daughter that he might put me through torture and kill me. Guess I have to pull out my trump card. "Let’s just say I don’t have any faith in any of the former angels who call themselves demons."
Mephistopheles whole body flinch in surprised. He blinks, and suddenly laughs. "Aha ha! Is that so? Well," Mephistopheles chuckled, hand over his chin. "We have the same thought, Lami."
No, we don’t. I just know that from the book. I smile back. "Oh, we do?" Mephistopheles nods, leaning on his hand as he gives me a smile. It felt, genuine and cute. I cough. "Anyway, I will only need your protection until I can get into the exchange program."
"The exchange program?"
"Yes, I plan to go to the human world, to tempt humans. It has been my dream since I was a little girl."
"Ugh, such a common dream for demons," Mephisto mumbles.
I ignored his comment. "So, do we have a deal?"
Mephisto smiles at me and again pulls out his gloves, offering his right hand. "It's a deal."
Once we shake hands, the seal on my wrist glows, changing our contract. He lets go to let me look at my wrist with the newest seal. My protection, my promises of the future. Now, I’ll just wait for time to go by. Then I’ll be in my real world, the human world.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
That night,
"Give me my money back, scumbag Mammon!!!"
"Why don't ya just shake me, maybe I'll rain money from my pants!"
The avatar of envy did so, shaking the second-born with all his might. Mammon shouted at his brother to stop. They both continued to shake each other off.
There was a meeting between the demon lords in the council room of RAD. All six demons were seated together at the round table. Satan read his book despite his rowdy brothers. Asmodeus hummed while looking at himself in the mirror. Belphegor slept on the table while his twin brother Beelzebub chewing candy.
Then, the first-born stepped in, Lucifer. Mammon and Levi, who were still bickering with each other. Two fists smacked on top of their heads.
"Ow!"
"Hey! What's the big idea?!"
They both flinched under Lucifer's red eyes. "Be quiet!" He commanded and sat in the middle. "The meeting starts."
Satan was the first to speak.
“I have collected the necessary curses for the demons responsible for the Cerberus Breeds. All the most torturous curses, even the deadliest ones." Satan let out sinister laughs.
"Hold your horses, Satan," Asmo hummed to his brother.
Beel raised his hand. "Lucifer, what will happen to the dogs that were used?"
"Diavolo has decided to keep the dogs and treat them. I had Levi find some professional demons to handle this," Lucifer replied, turning to the third-born.
"Oh, oh yeah, here," Levi handed Lucifer the papers. The first-born looked through the papers and then back to his brothers.
They continued discussing shutting down the operation. The talk between them smoothed down into a debate about how Mephistopheles found the first base operation.
"I mean, the guy could have just happened to come across it," Mammon said.
"Are you really that much of an idiot?"
"LOL, LOL," Levi exclaim, typing to his D.D.D. "Mammon said. "Mephisto finding it was a 'coincidence,' so stupid! And tweet!"
"Oi! Why do you have to tweet that?!"
"Levi, you're not supposed to tweet our meeting,"
"That's what worries you?!"
BANG!
The demon brothers turned to the door, where two human exchange students stood.
"Hi, everyone~~" Carina greeted. The other human, a plain boy with glasses and pale skin, lifted his hand.
"Hi, sorry to bother you,"
Lucifer groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "What are you two doing here?"
The boy frightened as he hid behind Barbatos who escorted the two humans. Barbatos explain. "Forgive our interruption, but Carina refused to go home until the brothers are done."
"I-I..." the boy stuttered. "Didn't want..."
"Awww~ Mathieu, are you gonna keep hiding behind Barbatos?" Asmo stood, leaning over the table with a mischievous smile. "He's also a demon too, you know?"
Mathieu shrieked and jumped away from Barbatos. Barbatos only smiled.
Lucifer's eyebrow stress became more evident. "Aren't you responsible for tonight's dinner, Carina? Don't be selfish and go home."
"Awww... I can't just leave you all behind~~" Carina pouted, putting on her puppy eyes. But none of the demon brothers swayed, giving Carina a dead look. Mathieu gulped down his throat, Carina blinked at the brothers, confused by their response.
"Why don't you all have a meal here?" Barbatos suggested. "It has already passed dinner," He checked his watch. "There may be leftover from the cafeteria. I shall fetch some food from there."
"Oh yeah!"
"You're the demon, Barbatos!"
"Bring back at least a hundred dishes, please."
"We are quite famished, thank you very much, Barbatos."
Barbatos nodded and was about to close the door when Carina stopped him. "Tha-thank you so much, Barbatos." She had a shy smile, blushing cheek, fiddling with her fingers.
Barbatos stared at her, and gave his cold-butler smile. "Of course," He closed the door a bit hard in her face. Carina gasped, offended, and stomped her foot.
She looked over at the brothers. Now Mathieu was in the center of attention. The demons were asking Mathieu's opinion on how Mephistopheles found the warehouse.
"I-I-I mean," Mathieu stuttered, fixing his glasses. "Meph-Mephisto? Could've... found the spell? (Was it a spell) That mirrors are the hideaway (somehow), that-that's how he found it, right?"
Satan nodded. "Okay, but... How did he find the right spot where the mirror is?"
Mathieu shrugged. "I-I-I really don't know, why not, ask him?"
"Hah!" Belphegor exclaimed, startling Mathieu. Belphie's expression was bored as he leaned on his hand. "That guy has loose lips, but when it comes to this, he was very secretive,"
"Yeah, even to Lord Diavolo." Beel said. "It was very surprising,"
"What if it wasn't him?" The brothers stopped and turned to Lucifer, who stated his opinion. "I suspect that he was helped by another demon."
Satan scoffed. "Aha! Are you going to be suspicious of him every time he does something good for Diavolo?"
"What is that supposed to mean, Satan?"
"You know what I meant. You don't like that Mephisto solved this and not you."
"Actually," the brothers turned to the voice belongs to Carina. "Three days ago, I did see a particular demon walk into his office a day before Mephistopheles busted the warehouse."
"Huh?"
"What did she say?"
"Stupid Mammon, are you deaf now?"
"Hey!"
Lucifer narrowed his eyes, pondering Carina's words. "Who is this demon?" he asked, almost commanding.
Carina looked surprised, hand over her mouth. "Lami, that new demon. I wanted to be her friend, so I followed her. That's when I saw her went into Mephistopheles's office." Carina gasped and changed her tone to dismissive. "Ah, but, this is just a theory, she could've just wanted to join the newspaper RAD, right?"
Lucifer narrowed his eyes. If the demon swamp wanted to join, Mephistopheles would never consider it. He wouldn't even let any lower demons step into his office. Lucifer turned to the second-born. "Mammon, you are in the same class as her, yes?"
Mammon looked sideways. "Uuuh, yeah?"
"Keep an eye on her."
"Huh? Why me?!"
"Idiot, you're in the same class as her." Lucifer exhaled. "It is best to keep an eye on new demons; we never know whether they are loyal to Lord Diavolo or not."
Mammon pout, grumbling under his breath. "I don't like her!"
"Huh? First week, and you already don't like her?" Asmo chuckled, eyes flirting. "Fufufu, what did she do, is it scandalous?
Mammon glared disgust at Asmo, then looked at Mathieu and Carina. Mammon slump down into his chair and whispering. "Because she is supposed to be the new demon, not her."
The brothers were quiet in the room. Mathieu could feel the change and remained still like a rock. Carina scrunched her eyebrow in confusion.
"Mammon." Leviathan leaned forward. "You know that we're still looking for her,"
"And we will not stop looking for her," Lucifer said the final word. The brothers humm agree. Leaving Mathieu and Carina out of the circle. One of them is very upset.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The moon is at its lowest peak as I walk back to my dorm room at ten pm. Ten!
"Urgh!!!" I grumble under my breath. That history teacher is so petty, putting me in detention for a week! A week! Petty demons! They're the worst kinds of creatures. I hate, hate, hate them!
My eyes spot a 666 leaf clover. The green color reminds me of Green Blops. If he were here, seeing me angry, he would've faced me, with his arms crossed and looking at me.
I sigh and begin my ritual. Take a deep breath and let go. I did it again.
When I was a child, I had my moments of tantrum. Even with a mind of an adult, you can still get mad like a child. I refused to eat anything the Blops gave me, which made Red so sad. I was violent with Yellow and Orange, I didn't see they were hurt. I was pushy and annoyed with Green and Purple. I rejected everything nice Pink gave me. Until it hit the limit when Blue was scolding me, I shouted at him that I hate him because he's a demon.
I remember Blue's face when I said that. He was shocked, really shocked. When I thought he was gonna punish me, his face got neutral, no smile, no scowl, nor glare, nothing. Instead, he turned his back away and ignored me. I was surprised but decided to ignore him too. It went on for a week, with all the six Blops following after Blue. They still gave me food, bath, and clothed me. But there were no kisses and hugs, the Blops wouldn't play with me, they wouldn’t talk with me. They just left me alone. On the seventh day of the week, I cried so loud, asking for forgiveness.
Of course, the Blops quickly forgave me. There were kisses and hugs and how awful it was for the Blops to hold back. Blue told that every Blop understands. The shout, the violence, and the hate towards demons are just anger I kept inside for Lucifer.
So I told the Blops everything. From the memory when I was a human, to be reborn as Lucifer’s daughter, and asking why am I put into this situation. There are so many humans in the world, and I was the one who isekai into an awful unfortunate character.
The Blops didn’t understand, but they still love me the same. In fact, they love me more than ever. So did I.
Green then taught me how to meditate, to control my anger, and not to bottle everything in me. The Blops told me to tell them everything that is in my heart. And I always did, and the Blops always comfort me.
I open my eyes, feeling a bit relieved. I decided to let the teacher have it my way. It doesn’t matter if I had a week detention. On weekends, I’ll be back in my cabin with my Blops, talking bad things about Miss Vile.
Ufufu. I’ve already imagined Pink and Yellow when we gossip.
I had a smile as I walked in the dorm building. I reached my room with a hum and placed my hand on the doorknob.
BANG!
"Hello, little demon~"
Someone grabbed my mouth and slammed me against the doors. My eyes widened as I recognized who it was. It was the same demon who walked me to my room on the first day. My body froze.
"Ahahah, it's so easy to munch little demons like yourself," the demon licked his lips with a twisted smile and lustful eyes. I shivered in fear, my mind went blank. "Already excited, heh? How about we do it in your room?"
His words snapped me out of my entrance, and I struggled. He strengthened his holds, nails digging into the skin of my shoulder. I scream under his palm.
"Stop struggling, you bitch!"
I panicked and grabbed his arm holding my mouth. Then I saw. A purple glow flashed before us.
“Argh! What is this??!”
He let me go. I felt power surging through from Mephisto’s mark on my wrist. Like an ocean wave, the surge power pushed the demon far away to the end of the hallway into a window that was suddenly open by itself, and he went flying.
I watched as he faded away. His scream became distand. I gasped for breath and went fumbling with my keys to open my bedroom door and crawled inside. I closed the door with my back. It took forever with my trembling fingers to lock the door, twice. Then, I screamed and cried on my knees. I didn't care if any demons heard me. Hell, they might have heard and wouldn't care a thing.
Thoughts flooded in of what could've happened. That demon was really going to molest me. I could've-
I felt my stomach churn, and I threw up on the floor. All the contents from my stomach was emptied. When it was over, I stared at the leftover food I had this evening. Then I cried and lay beside my own retch. I didn't care about the smell. I only wanted my trembling body to subside.
This was a reminder that I was still in hell.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The next morning arrived, and I felt terrible. I had a headache, stomach cramps, and was in a completely rock bottom mood. I really didn’t want to go to school, but I had to since it's still the first week. I couldn’t afford another bad rap with a teacher. In fact, they might use this to bully me. Mocking my background. I really had enough.
Fortunately, no demons were talking about last night. They might not even care or might be too busy discussing Mephistopheles' success and the exchange program. Lucky me.
All day, I kept my head down and stayed alert, hoping I wouldn't pass by that demon from last night. There’s no way he would let go of what happened. In fact, he must've planned something to torture me. Maybe giving me a cursed object? Hypnotizing me, drugging me—anything could happen!
I felt like throwing up again, but I held on with my hand over my mouth. I hadn't eaten anything this morning, but my stomach felt sick, like when you ride a roller coaster after eating.
Half the day had gone by, and it was lunchtime. I was walking in the hallway between students toward the cafeteria.
"Agh!" I felt my cape being pulled back. My foot almost lost its balance, and I looked over my shoulder, my body freezing.
"What are you doing?" Mammon asked with a smirk, as if he had caught me stealing a cookie jar.
"I... wha!" I yelped. Mammon pulled me forward by my red cape. "Hey!!!" I protested as I tried to keep my feet on the ground. Then I felt someone grab my arm.
“Mammon! Don’t pull her like that!” Carina protested, pulling me toward her. I leaned backward while Mammon still grabbed my cape. My posture probably looked stupid, as all the students were watching us.
“Argh! Shut up, human!” Mammon pulled my cape again.
I grabbed my cape, begging him. "Wh-what do you want from me?!"
Mammon frowned, looking at me as if I’m stupid. My heart twisted with fear. If Mammon had figured me out, this might be why he's bothering me right now – he's going to act all obsessed with me. My brain imagined all the possible ways this could go.
"Wait! Please, just," I stuttered, frantically looking around the hallway for an escape. "Please, let me go," I pleaded, holding back tears. Mammon tilted his head.
“Mammon, come on, don’t pull the poor little girl,” Carina said.
I glanced at her smiling at me. She reminds me of Kristin. Even in hell, she still tries to be nice to everyone. To a demon. I gulped down my throat. Both of us are poor, unfortunate souls. Doomed for a lifetime of torture from the demons here in Devildom. But unlike Carina, I’m going to survive. I’m going to survive from this dem-!
Mammon released my cape. I gasped as I was released. Mammon stared at us, hand on his hips. I took a deep breath and tried to think of an escape. If I ran, Mammon would catch me for sure.
"Let's go, I'm hungry!" Mammon exclaimed and walked away.
“Come on, Lami!” Carina still grabbing my arm, pulling me forward. My body is still completely stiff from the shock and I just followed. But, if there is a slight opening, I’ll run like hell.

BORN INTO THE SEVEN'S RULER OF DEVILDOM
Chapter 1
Chapter 2 ---- Eight Years Later
This year, I reached thirteen, the year I had been looking forward to.
"Blue! Blue! Where are my scrunchies?" I frantically searched. This small cabin had only one room, but it was easy to lose things in it.
"Kehekehehege!!!" a blob with yellow eyes handed me my scrunchy.
"Ah! Thank you, Yellow!"
Another blob with pink eyes offered me a ribbon. "Blehehegegheh!"
"Oh! Thank you, Pink! This ribbon will look perfect!"
Two blobs with white and purple eyes helped me with my ribbon from behind.
"Gegehegeg!"
"Fejegeheheaja!"
"Aww, come on White, Purple, I'm not a little kid anymore!" I giggled.
I called the blobs according to their eye color. I couldn't talk in their language. But we understand each other and communicate just fine.
"Alright, alright! Where's Blue?! I need to go now!"
"Blehehegegheh!"
The blobs led me outside the cabin. Its morning night in Devildom, the moon was high and shining brightly, but not like the sun. I missed the sun from the human world.
"Fejegeheheaja!"
"Gegehegeg!"
The rest of the blobs surrounded me with their little chants. They were worried for me.
"Guys, please, I've been waiting for this my whole life!"
The blobs protest. Blue shouted at them to be quiet. He then gave me a small bag with grimms inside.
"Thank you, Blue," I said with gratitude. Blue turned to his group, speaking in command. The blobs cheered, and we set out to the city.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The Devildom city was a sight I could never be bored of. The alien feeling of being here still lingered. Sometimes I wondered what it would be like with a real sun down here.
When the blobs and I first arrived in the city, it was at the Aeos Library, the same library I had entered before. The bell jingled with a deep melody as I opened the door.
"Hello, Melril," I greeted the owner.
Melril turned her head and smiled. "Lami! Just in time, good, good!"
Lami was my fake name. There were two reasons for it: first, Lucifer's name originated from an angel named Samael, and Leilel was the opposite name of Samael for a girl; second, a demon's name would not have "el" at the end, as it would mean son/daughter of God.
"My name is such a clown," I thought to myself. This may be Kristin's way of revenge. To demons and angels, names are important to their power. They couldn’t change their names as easily as humans did.
"Here you go, Lami," Melril returned with a black uniform, and I gasped.
"Your one and only RAD uniform!" she said enthusiastically.
"Thank you so much, Melril!"
"Don’t mention it! It was my old uniform! It would be a waste to throw it out just like that," Melril replied, pointing to the back. "You should get changed or you'll be late."
I nodded and ran toward the back, the blobs following me before I shushed them away. They laughed and giggled, excited for me.
I emerged from the backroom wearing the uniform. Although it looked old and worn out, the uniform fit me perfectly and suited my style. It consisted of a black jacket, a green shirt underneath, and a red cape on my back, along with a long skirt that covered my knees and boots.
The blobs and Melril clapped for me. "Oh! Look at you! I'm so glad to give my uniform to an alpha demon such as you."
Alpha demons are demons who are born in the twenty-first century, and it is rare for them to give birth. Newborns wouldn't even exist for millennia.
"Now, remember our deal!" Melril reminded me.
I nodded. "Yes, yes, on the weekend I'll be here to guard the shop until it closes."
Since I was a regular at the library, I had been working here since I was six. Melril used to ignore me for a year, but when she noticed my intelligence, she made me her apprentice. Most of the time, I was just cleaning and arranging books, but she let me borrow books for free as long as I returned them in good condition.
Melril nodded. "Good, good, now off you go! You'll be late!"
She pushed me out of the bookstore without hesitation. I rolled my eyes. Melril was a big introverted demon, that's why she ignored all her customers.
The blobs and I made our way across the street, we stopped when we saw familiar demons.
"It's not fair!"
"Ain’t my problem."
"The Majolish has taken two seasons with you! How could they not be bored seeing your face for the third season!"
"Oi! What's that supposed to mean?!"
It was Mammon and Asmodeus. My feet trembled in fear as words describing the two demons floated inside my head. Scenes from the novel when they mock Kristin, bullying her.
Mammon flick her forehead as he said. “Ya’re nothing but a weak human! And I’m the Great Mammon! Ya should always remember that!”
“Oh~ Kristin~ You should stay still like a doll you are before I do something you would die for~ eheheh,” Asmodeous smirks with his orange eyes shimmering with dangerous lust.
The blobs surrounding me protectively. I hide my face and we continued walking. The two avatars passed by without a glance at me. I ran with the blobs holding me tight, we stopped when we felt far enough.
It’s exhausting just facing these demon lords. I don’t know what would happen if they found out who I really am.
"Kejegekehe!" Yellow exclaimed, pointing in front of us, the gates to the Royal Academy of Diavolo, lay.
"Wow!"
