The Beyond Difference to Our Untold Story.

This is Mister Randele Alcoran Arcilla was also known as Mister Rands Arcills was born at Esperanza Lying Center at Legarda Street, Sta. PURSUIT OF LOVE 💓

This is a scene from one of Born For You’s episodes. In here Kevin Sebastian was chasing Sam Kazuko after being mesmerized by her at Shibuya Crossing in Japan. Many times in the series that Kevin was persistent over winning Sam’s heart. He went through a lot of encounters before they finally became a couple.

While in real life, we don’t really know if Elmo Magalona is now at that stage of pursuing this fine young lady, Janella Salvador. But if Elmo would want an advice, I would say; work hard on building a relationship with God first (read His Word, go to church...) just like Janella.

I honestly haven’t been in a relationship with someone yet (apart from God). But most Single like me would base their advises according to our observation or other’s experiences. And I came up with these...

3 Stages of Pursuit (#GodlyDating101)

STAGE 1: Getting to Know

Get to know God. There’s no reason to be shy. Be confident, we don’t even need an introduction, cause He already know us by our names. But where do I start? Spend time with Him in prayer, reading His Word (The Bible), attending church services, connect yourself with people who can disciple you about Jesus.

We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. —1 John 4:6-7 ESV

STAGE 2: Get Closer

It’s actually not hard to get close to Him. He’s a father and a friend. But also in this stage, you’d come to know Him in a deeper level. And that’s where your feelings starts to grow.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. — James 4:8 ESV

STAGE 3: Fall In Love

Once you get on this stage, you will never be able to get out! Cause just like what the bible says in Romans 8:38-39 NIV ; For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” — Luke 10:27 ESV 

Just like what Adam Cappa said, “If you chase after God like you chase after Love, He will send you a soulmate you won’t have to chase after.” Would you not want something like that? Kay Dali di ba?

Actually, it’s also easy to chase after God, as a matter of fact most of the time it’s the other way around. God chases us relentlessly, no matter how many times we reject Him. That’s how much He loves us! Can you believe it? He’s totally crazy over us!

And it says also in Matthew 6:33 ESV; But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

If God will be your first priority, rest assured that your “all these things”, that includes your needs and by God’s grace your wants, even your lifetime partner, will all be added unto you! And it doesn’t just say some but ALL these things!

That’s why for Elmo and Janella, only God knows who your soulmates are. But if it’s God’s will that you guys would end up together, it would definitely be a simple joy to many, especially ElNellas. And if happens it would be great to see you both chasing God together! Now that’s #RelationshipGoals PS After all, GOD IS LOVE ❤️

How Born For You should have ended

SAM

After ng concert, kami na ulit ni Kevin at mas sumikat pa ang SamVin. May mga teleserye, albums, at concerts na kami. Nag-concert na nga kami sa Philippine Arena, at sold out pa! Natutupad na talaga ang pangarap namin ni Tatay, at wala akong gustong makasama sa pagtupad ng pangarap na ‘yon, kundi si Kevin at si Kevin lang.

Six years na ang nakalipas. Masayang-masaya kami ni Kevin. Sixth anniversary pala namin ngayon, and we decided to celebrate our anniversary sa Japan.

Gabi na ngayon, and Kevin and I are walking in the Shibuya crossing when Kevin suddenly stopped.

“Sam,” he said.

I looked at him. Ano ‘to?

“Yeah?”

He walked closer to me and held my hand.

“Sam, there’s a reason kung bakit ko gusto mag-celebrate ng anniversary dito sa Japan. And there’s a reason why I brought you here sa Shibuya crossing. Sam, this is where it all started. Dito tayo nagka-banggaan. Dito tayo unang nagkita at dito ako na love at first sight sa ‘yo. Sam, this is a memorable place for me. For us. Hindi ko alam noon na ang taong nakalaan para sa ’kin at mamahalin ko habang buhay ay makikita ko dito.”

I looked at him as tears welled up my eyes.

“Sam, I love you. I am so in love with you. Before I met you, I never believed in love or destiny or fate. But when I met you, all of that changed. Lahat ng bagay na hindi ko pinaniniwalaan noon, naniniwala na ako ngayon. Sam, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Ikaw ang pag-ibig na hinintay ko at ngayong nandito ka na hindi na kita pakakawalan pa, Sam,” sabi niya and he got down on one knee.

A tear rolled down my cheek. Ito na. Ito na talaga.

“Sam, ikaw lang ang gusto kong makasama habang buhay. Samantha Reyes-Kazuko, will you marry me?” he said, as he took out a ring.

I looked at him intently. He stood up.

“Teka lang, Kev. Before I answer your question, may sasabihin din ako sa ‘yo. Kevin, noon, hindi ako naniwala na ikaw ang itinadhana para sa ‘kin. I needed more signs back then, kaya dine-deny ko ang nararamdaman ko para sa ‘yo. Pero as time went by, parami ng parami ang signs na itinadhana talaga tayo sa isa’t-isa. Kev, all my life hinintay ko kung sino ang itinadhana para sa ‘kin. Kung sino ang ka-red string ko. And now, I can truly say na ikaw ang itinadhana para sa ‘kin. Ikaw ang pag-ibig na hinintay ko at ikaw ang pag-ibig na binigay sa akin ng Maykapal. Kevin, mahal din kita. Mahal na mahal,” I said.

“Yes.”

Kevin hugged me. I can’t explain everything I’m feeling right now. Pero isa lang ang alam ko. Mahal na mahal namin ni Kevin ang isa’t-isa. He is mine and I am his, anything else is unthinkable.

When we pulled away, he leaned in closer and kissed me. I kissed him back. And this one was different. This was a kiss that started out with forever.
