how did it go with meeting Lizzie?? hope your night has been well!!

It was amazing, so I had the photo ops first so I met Andrew Garfield before anyone else. He was very strict about no one touching him and was very soft-spoken. I honestly think he may have been nervous because it was his first comic con and I met him on the morning of his first day there, it seemed like from fan photos he began to open up a bit more on the second day.

Hailee Steinfeld was next, she's so stunning. I really didn't say much to her or Andrew besides hi and that it was nice to meet them because everything was so fast-paced and I didn't want to waste their time or get in trouble for taking too long. Hailee was really warm and welcoming though and totally would've had a small conversation if we initiated it.

I went to the photo op with Lizzie alone, my heart was beating so hard I could feel it in my chest. As I was waiting in line, the man in front of me went up to her and engulfed her in a hug, even though the worker had just told him no hugs. That really annoyed me, ofc it was a man. Lizzie, was clearly startled because she wasn't expecting it but even then, she was very friendly and kind. I was so nervous walking up to her and I just awkwardly asked if we could do a thumbs-up pose and she was like, yes of course, and then I was able to get out "cuz we both have weird thumbs" and she was like, "oh I love that" right before the photo was taken. Then I just said it was really nice to meet her and I left swiftly.

A couple hours later, I had my autograph with Lizzie. I remember waiting in line and going over things in my head that I wanted to say because it would be my last chance to say them. The autograph was in an enclosed tent and they didn't allow my friend to record the interaction which was so sad. They made me hand the item I wanted signed to one of the workers and then she handed it to Lizzie. I asked if she could use my pen too cuz I wanted the tarot card signed in a metallic pen. The kid in front of my stopped and had a short conversation with her and told her how grateful he was that she was doing the comic con.

When it was my turn, she mentioned that the card was cool as she signed it and I told her that I made it and she smiled and said, "oh! that's why I've never seen it before!" During the whole interaction, it felt similar to when I get up to do a presentation and I end up rushing through it because I'm nervous and just want it to be over with. Like, I didn't want it to be over with but I was subconsciously rushing through it. In her Q&A the day before, she mentioned that Wanda and Godzilla would be buds, and so my friend @/boraposters drew her riding on Godzilla like a Targarian and asked me to show her so I made sure to show her that before I made my exit. She smiled so bright "Wow that took like 2 seconds," she laughed about how quickly they drew it. Then she thanked me for sharing and I left with the open pen and autograph in hand, not even realizing I was marking up my shirt with the open pen because quite frankly, that was the last thing on my mind.

She's genuinely so warm and friendly.

Yea actually, I made two other designs that I didn’t really like. I have another design that I’m currently working on in collaboration with @ BoraPosters on Twitter.

Im meeting Lizzie at Ace Comic Con and I was trying to think of something unique to have her autograph since I already have a few of her autographs on photos and stuff so I thought that I would make and produce this card and have her sign that 🤷🏼‍♀️ now I’m just trying to come up with a design I’m really happy with haha, so there may be a few more iterations

Flamboyant cuttlefish | Metasepia pfefferi

Size: 6 to 8cm

Diet: primarily crabs, shrimp, and other mollusks, but they'll go after fish as well

Range: southern New Guinea to western Australian coasts (Pacific and Indian oceans)

Habitat: shallow waters with sandy or muddy bottoms

Fun facts!

They are highly venomous, with their venom strong enough to be as dangerous as a blue ringed octopus. Their muscle tissue is also poisonous.

Rather than swimming, flamboyant cuttlefish prefer to "walk" across the sea floor. This is due to their cuttlebone being pretty small.
