Do overseer eyes work the same way iterator puppet eyes do where theres a ring of muscle surrounding a small camera lens?

i've. no idea. i gave up on figuring out how an overseer could possibly work the moment i thought about it a little. those tiny shits are beyond confusing with their solid eyeball yet-zipping-through-the-world bullshit

but i think there wouldn't really be any need for a ring of muscle like that in them cuz the eye makes up the whole body and doesn't need to move within some kind of socket. i don't even think the overseers' eyes like??? look around from within the holographic sprout canonically, but only constantly stare ahead and the whole body moves when they wanna trail after smth. so cuz of that i'd attribute the "looking around within the socket" thing to artistic liberty just like when i draw the iterators havin small eyebrows to assist communication of expressions
