overall, i'm liking the characters so far. i think they will make an interesting group to follow.

taiya didn't make much of an impression on me as i thought he would. idk, i guess i was expecting some kind of ambiguous set up to something, but maybe i've been watching too much other sentai lol. it seems they're going for more of a "cool" persona for him, i'm curious to see where they'll take his character.

i still don't know how likely it will be that black and orange are some kind of duo. like i kind of want them to be a duo because i like duos and the character descriptions write them in a similar structure (like one is more hard than soft, one is more soft than hard). also curious what the significance as to why their changers and extra.. shoulder pad are different from the main three.

in trailer and some of the other promos, there's this "dimension" kind of similar to some donbrothers graphics where the cars i guess come from? i wonder if there's any significance to that or it's just something flashy for promos.

i'm glad they're back to physical sets. not that i watched much of king-ohger, but the amount of green screen in what i did see wasn't really for me. all i'll say is that i think there is a time and place for green screens and that time isn't all the time.

the villains' designs are interesting. it doesn't seem they're all following one "aesthetic" (ie: toqger v. kyoryuger). i honestly thought the car was going to have some deep, menacing voice but it sounds like a baby. i can't wait for it to turn into a giant car. i wonder who the "bigger bad" will be seeing as these three are the "idiotic supervisors".

i just read boonblack's actor won a junon superboy contest, we are so back! (why is this relevant? because my favorite stretch of toku overall (2012-2020) have so many winners as lead characters haha)

speaking of, i saw some people call jou's outfit silly, but i think it's cute.

honestly, i wasn't expecting to get so into boonboomger this early. i haven't been enjoying much of the newer sentai, so maybe it's my time now haha.
