Ahem just thinking about a fic idea w John Price and reader having a fling when they were in their early twenties and promising to be there for each other or some romantic shit like that, and then the world kinda tore them apart, and they were supposed to go on one last date before John was sent out - but he was pulled to a mission and ended up ghosting reader.

and a couple of years later reader left the military possibly due to losing a limb or getting disabled in a way after a really bad mission - and then reader decided to dip out from the world and go live on a farm in the middle of nowhere — and John can’t find her anywhere and kinda forgets about her. Then like 15ish years later the 141 needs a place to stay low and Laswell sends them to Reader, without telling them who she is. And the first thing Reader does when they’re reunited is slapping John and being angry for being stood up.

But when Reader has night terrors one night while they’re there, John comforts her and apologises properly for not showing up. That date night. And they have sex and make up and the rest of the men says it’s like divorced parents getting back together and maybe they end up getting back together-

or maybe it’s more bittersweet and they just enjoy their time together but when John and the team leaves again, reader says they can’t be together and John is like “I will always wait for you.” Kind of the one that got away vibes.

I was a bunny sitter today (and I love the little bun already) so I’m strongly considering writing an AU with one of the COD characters(or a Macgyver character) being turned into a lil bunny and running away and somebody finds them and takes care of them and is just a sweetheart- and suddenly there is a naked person in their house, with hay in their hair and snacking on the strawberry they got them, anyways, I love bunnies

I’ve begun to read a book for fun for the first time since i started uni in 2018 (if we ignore the GREAT amount of fanfics I’ve read in these last 6 years) and for some reason I thought a scary sci-if ish thriller (Recursion by Blake Crouch) would be a good idea, but I’ve only read 70 pages and I’m scared.

Like… would they want to walk about it ? Or just reject the idea like the others? I feel like Kate might be like “that’s too much paperwork, I’ll spank u when I get home” or something or maybe be a romantic idk.

One of the 141 men has a short relationship with a woman, who becomes pregnant but the relationship ends abruptly before she finds out and she goes to the middle of nowhere, wanting to start over.

She has the baby but she passes away a year later - so her sibling, Reader, steps in and becomes the parent.

Sibling!reader who never wanted kids is suddenly stuck with a kid that they love dearly but at the same time feels stuck in a life they never ask for.

Even worse, when the kiddo is three, the 141 team turns up - and the kid looks suspiciously much like their dad - and sibling!Reader looks suspiciously familiar to the dad’s ex.

Anyways, that’s all for now, back to my slump

8. If you had to write an entire story without either action or dialogue, which would you choose and how would it go?

Oh damn. Honestly, I’m not sure, but I think I would go without dialogue if it was a darker piece - like violence. Or just, really get into the nitty gritty of emotions. Like fear, if running away from somebody - you wouldn’t have to speak, you would have your thoughts, sure, but you would constantly be focused on getting away from someone or something. I would like to write something in Macgyver again, I think, but still, it would fit in in the Cod fandom too.

10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?

Mmm, that’s a tough question. It depends on how one defines “haunted”.

In a way, yes, I suppose? Like some of my early Macgyver work has definitely haunted me, purely for how fucked up they were and made me wonder how the fuck I came up with the ideas. Partly they also haunt me bc I think my writing is much better now lol. Like, sir and his good boy?? Where did that come from, 2022-boolger??

The only thing I can think of is honestly in my (still ongoing, I’m sorry) fic, the many deaths of a Phoenix, which is the only fic I’ve ever cried while writing. Sure I was unstable and tired when I did it, but there are still moments when I read again, where I go damn. I did that. So in that sense, yeah. In a good way I suppose.
