I saw you are in a meta mood, so let me ask about your top5 Hyde/Jackie "things" (the nicknames, touches, all that jazz)?

Oh! This is lovely. Thanks :) Part 1 of 2.

1.1) the way he is always taking her face

He does this a lot. For someone who is supposed to not be into romance and love, he is super touchy and affectionate.

This is my favorite thing ever because… It’s a really sweet way to show that devotion Hyde has for Jackie. He loves her in a way he can’t even stand to understand, and the enormity of that feeling is such, he has to be careful to touch her. 

To him, she’s too beautiful and too much, his hands aren’t worthy for that dollface and at the same time, is like this action of nesting her face on his hands also remind her she is safe with him. Her face is important to her, you know? And she lets him grab her that easily and with that big smile becaue there is no harm in any of that. She’s home, and she’s safe, and he loves her that much.

Honestly, is one of the cutest things ever.

1.2) I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAAAAAND, I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAAAAND

Or, Hyde is always holding Jackie’s hand after being shown to not want her to in season 2 (even when he ends up giving up in that moment, too).

This is something I love so much. For a man who is supposed to not be into relationships and all that jazz, Hyde is actually a very good boyfriend and definitely Jackie’s type of man when it comes to the important: he will never not leave it clear who she’s dating in public, even when he isn’t good with words.

I have always thought that Hyde isn’t truly comfortable with touch. He comes from a mother who didn’t love him, which makes me think she wasn’t affectionate at all. He seems to not like when other people hugs him or kisses him (in the case of Kitty, for example. When they are in public and she kisses him, he gets all nOnOnOoooOOoO) in public. So for him to be doing this where anyone and everyone can see him with Jackie says a lot about how he feels with her.

She’s his safe place and she’s real. His possessiveness towards her never comes from the kind of feelings that can destroy good things. He is this way because he has never had anything in his life, he wasn’t allowed to. And suddenly this goddamn perfect, sweet, loving, beautiful girl wants him and only him, so she must be some kind of allucination to him.

So, he puts a hand on her back, she’s there. Squeezes her thigh, she smiles at him and puts her tiny hand over his. He takes her hand and she takes his back. It comes natural to her. So Hyde touches her, because he can do it and she’s there. With him.

2) Jackie: *sits on satan’s lap* i’m home, what’s up?

Something I love about how touchy they are is Hyde actually making Jackie sit on his lap.

We saw her a couple of times do this with Kelso, but it never seemed like something as intimate as it looks with Hyde. They are seen like this on his chair, the one place nobody is allowed to sit on (as seen since season 1) and that, while he is not in the room, Jackie sits on and then stands up to sit on his lap once he is there. We have actually see her stand up to let him sit and then sit on his lap, like??? fucking cute, everyone????

I like to think there must be something for them about occupying the same space at the same time, and be that close every day. They are never tired of the other’s presence, phisical and sentimental, and it is obvious thanks to how we always see them together.

Jackie sitting on his lap is also takes me to the first point. The feeling of her weight must remind him she’s there, with him.

As for her, damn. You know what it means for Jackie to be held? She is the one that is always holding people, and then Hyde, who she loves and adore deeply, wants to held her all the time. All the time. That’s also why I think she never does a big deal of that, because it’s something only for her. It’s private, even when everyone can see it.

She’s home.

I like the idea of having he chance to explore the constrast of two people that, even loving the other, are so different to the point one is considered a hero and the other a complete, irremediable, villain. In the part of the story in which Ben can recover, I like to explore Poe’s feelngs about this, more thn Ben’s. I know Ben’s, i’m there. But Poe’s are the ones that inspire me the most. So is that, is, for me, the other side of the abuse recovery.

What's your next project after AB?

I’m still publishing ‘Heart Like Yours’, so at the moment is to finish publishing this fic and working on the Writing Lab for it. I also have the ‘Jackie On My Mind’ project going, two other poetry projects, a literature project that has something to do with letters and Eric in Africa, and the ‘Pillow Talks’.

I’m also soon starting another project similar to the Pillow Talks that takes place before season 5 starts, during the summer we didn’t see. It’s about sex exploration, so It’s going to be something to experiment with and publishing.

So my next fanfic project? I have two big oneshots unfinished, one is for a dear friend. I alos have the Anthology project, so I will focus on the ZMA first and then on the oneshots, after that I’m going to be working on both, ‘Wear My Arms’ and ‘Drive It Like You Stole It’. 

It’s more probably that I will be publishing WMA sooner than DILYSI since that story is pretty long and it’s divided in three parts. It’s literally 17 years of Ford’s life, so… yeah.

From ‘Waer My Arms’:

In thesummer of 1975, Kelso was wooing some rich girl and Donna had grown a rack noone suspected she would ever had. It’s impossible to not look at her, and whenhe realizes he doesn’t feel guilty about it, he does because Forman is his bestfriend and he has been in love with Donna even before none of them understoodwhat love and math were about.

It doesn’tstop him from getting as close as her as he can in the pool, hugging her waistas they play to put the other underwater. And when she gets to put him down, heopens his eyes and her breasts are in front of his face and he laughs, losingthe air on his lungs, and fighting to go up again, arms suddenly taken bysomeone else.

“Thanks—“

He expectsDonna to lecture him about his bull, but when he opened his eyes, the sun shonebright in front of him and there was no red, only light and pink. She waswearing a blue shirt, the staff one, which meant she was a cheerleader and whenhis eyes adjusted to the light, Hyde recognized her.

“Are youokay?” she said.

Jackiefucking Burkhart, one of the Queen Bees of school. He nodded, going back intothe water not before checking her out as she stands.

Her hairwas short, everyone knew about the tragedy with her hair: someone had cut itwhile she slept during a Cheerleader Camp a week ago and her father had broughther back immediately. Yet, she still wanted to be part of the team, and she hadcome to help with guarding the pool with the chicks that hadn’t left for camp.

She smiledat him again, asked if he was sure that he was feeling okay. He nodded. Hydehad seen her around. She was so mean all the time, he didn’t want anything todo with her.

“Jackie!”his doofus friend called her and Hyde cursed inside, because then this was therich girl he was after. A tragedy. “Look, now we can guard together!”

Kelso waswearing one of the blue staff shirts too, Hyde rolled his eyes and looked backat Donna, only to find she had left him there, and was more entertained talkingto Forman in one of the pool’s corners. Of course.

“ButMichael, you don’t know how to swing!”

Hydesmiled, Kelso was always his best source of burns and he went back to hisprevious spot, using his arms to get out a little from the pool. “You canalways guard the kid’s pool, Kelso.”

“I actuallycan!” he said, looking at Jackie again. “Because I’m such a great guy withkids, too!”

“I’m sureyou are, Michael.” she answered, Hyde looked at her bare legs. They lookedsmooth, and the way her skin shone was like if her body was always oiled. Shewas hot, mean and rude, but still hot. “You have to go with the coach, ask himin what section you’ll be.”

“I can’tguard with you?”

“Nope.”

Kelsolooked frustrated, Hyde smirked at him when his eyes searched for his support.“I can’t do nothing, man.”

“Damn!” hesaid, walking towards the cabin to get his orders.

Jackielaughed as he got afar, then moved to one side and left her shoes under one ofthe sun chairs, her blue shirt following and then she stood near him.

“You areHyde, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Jackie.”

“I know.” heanswered, why was she talking to him? His eyes looked at her neck, followed aninvisible path to her breasts and he realized she was wearing a damn bikini. Fora small girl, she was really something. “Uh, see you.”

“Bye, bye.”

He saw heronly put her feet under the water, actually doing her job of guarding the poollike the cheerleaders team had offered for the summer. He almost admired herdetermination.

But headmired her skin more, and the pink of her lips. Hyde had never realized Jackiewas actually a pretty girl. If he didn’t knew how she was, he would swear shewas one of the most stunning girls he has ever seen and maybe even think shewas lovely.

Do you ever die a little writing these? I feel like if a cow was crushing my heart to my back after reading this. I like the detail of every I’m sorry you mention in the tags. It’s really cool that you put these details into the poetry, it feels closer to the original source (something like that). I loved it, even if it broke me a little.

My heart broke into million pieces but I’m happy it did, it’s always a pleasure to have my soul destroyed by your poetry. This time, I’m frustrated by the fact that, even with the sad ending, I sitll think this is a wonderful love story. I like to believe maybe they will have a second chance later…

I'm so emotional about this new poem. The voice is incredible hurt and you can feel the pain he is going through as he says he is sorry. The way he talks about her and how much he cares about her makes everything even worse, because his fear won at the end and he lost her for something so stupid. Just one word, that could had saved them, but he didn't say it, he didn't dre to say it. But yes it's a love story. A beautiful one, even if sad. AMAZING!

Did things got complicated while writing AB and HLY at the same time?

I wasn’t writing both fics at the same time! I finished HLY like a month before starting AB, but I can tell you that it helped to not complicate things with AB. I had to re-write the entire story at some point, and If I had been working on HLY at the same time, I would had ended crazy and hating everyting and everyone.

I tend to stress myself a lot.

Do you think all the teasing about Fez saying flirty stuff to the boys is some kind of queerbaiting?

It is in the sense that they insinuate something that never was and that they decided to never talk about. Queerbaiting is using details, moments, scenes, that insinuete the posibility of LGBT+ representation… and then not doing it at the end.

So yeah, having a character flirting and kinda having a crush on one of his same sex friends, and then not even, like– talk about it, or something. It is, it certainly is.

I was reading your future fanfics section and realized you had a lot of plots that involves Jackie or Hyde, or both as a couple, having kids. In HLY, you talk a lot about mom-daughter and dad-son relationships, is this something you are really into? Or is something that just bleeds into your writing? I still think it's interesting!

I’m not sure of how to answer this. I think it’s somethig that bleeds on my writing without noticing. But it also has a lot to do with the fact that I love kids and I love working with kids. In fact, I always wanted to write for kids, so in a way, I think I like doing kids characters.

In some of my stories, thought, they are babies. Like in ‘The One’, it’s about pregnancy. While in the Ford verse, the kids are in different stages of life: he is a baby in ‘Queens of Noise’, he is 7 to 10 years old in ‘Breatheless’ and in ‘Drive It Like You Stole It’ he is 14+, so it’s all different.

Harley and Betsy in HLY are a story apart from Hyde and Jackie, but the whole theme of parenthood is part of the story as a whole. It was something that just happened and when I realized I was working with it, I just went more careful with what I was doing.

From your future fanfics: Are the ones about Hyde's Led Zeppelin shirt, the beard, the cheerleader uniform and the masturbation going to be M rated maybe? I'm curious about how you would write a scene like that. In the Pillow Talks, Hyde and Jackie are very comfortable while naked and your poetry is one of the sexiest things ever :)

First thanks for the kind words. I appreciate that a lot :) And now, to answer your question, the one with Hyde’s shirt won’t be M rated but the others you mention will be. These aren’t the only ones were mature stuff will be involved. I guess you are wondering about sex scenes, so--

I have lots of fics that will be M rated but it isn’t necessary because of sex scenes, so look out for that. I will be saying in the fics if they had sexual content. But the ones you mention but the shirt one, will have :)
