Earlier this month, @sammys.shelves tagged me in the #booktitlepoetry challenge and I’ve been bricking it because poetry is not it for me... My dumbass brain barely understands plain English let alone profound and complex lyricisms, but hey ho I’m not one to run away from a challenge (even though I probably should in this case 💀). Do you have a favourite author or anthology? • AOTD: I really haven’t since sixth form, despite the fact I studied higher level English Lit, but I’ve always felt really dumb when reading poetry unless I discuss it with other people.
