So I ended up in one of your posts of The Color Wheel, went and watched and now i’m kinda stuck in that movie (it’s just amazing like a romcom? with consensual incest? with a happy ending?! bfr!!) I think it’s the most enjoyable canon incest movie to watch because of all the reasons you listed. I still can’t believe it exists. 

Thanks for sharing that video with the voicemails. It’s a shame they weren’t in the movie. I have a little MP3 of them that I keep with my copy of the movie and it would just be so much simpler if they had been in the movie. 

We all need to talk about The Color Wheel more. 

And the world needs to know about this movie so that more movies like it can be made. They were such pioneers.

Soooo I’ve being meaning to massage you for a long time, but never did… Anyway, I’m also from Brazil and after the anom talked about that serie (Onde Vivem os Fortes) i looked up the videos and found them *-*. Since i’m already doing this i’ll submit something i’m doing for quite some time now, that is a list of soap operas and mini series that had incest or strong vibes on them… Soo there are plenty! (In Brazil incest is not ilegal but that is still a lot of taboo involved, so if the couple is the main pair and canon they change the end and make them not related somehow( most of the times we find out it was a cheating parent ) Just if you’re wondering YES this pass on our tvs every day AND I LOVED ^-^

Soaps:

Sete Vidas - 2015 (There is a group of 7 half-siblings, and 2 of them fall in love and kiss knowing they were related- the girl finds out her mother actually cheated and they aren’t siblings so after the drama is settle they end up together - Pedro & Julia) So this opera is the first in the list because it holds a special place in my heart because of one scene when Pedro is talking to another of the siblings, about the very known drama between he and Julia and this sibling ask why they aren’t’ together anyway, he asks if they feel the same way being apart how is less “wrong”? And if it’s the same it won’t be bad if they decide to stop fighting their feelings. SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER! ITS BEEN 3 YEARS AND I STILL REMEMBER WATCHING THIS SCENE and Freaking so much!

Velho Chico - 2016 ( Also half-siblings, also cheating mom. This got a huge fandom all over the country and i think it was also already mentioned to you. The couple was synchronised and have so much chemistry that their storyline got dragged and there were SOOOO much almost kisses that killed me, even in the end when she finally found out “they could be together” because they weren’t related the boy was so over everything that he didn’t wait and kissed her still thinking she was his sister - Miguel & Olivia)

Malhação - 2014 ( Actual incest, half-siblings that before knowing of they were related kissed, this storyline didn’t go any further than that - Cobra & Karina)

A Força do Querer - 2017 ( The main characters were Rita and Zeca they had a child and were still together while their parents flirted and later got married)

Além do Tempo - 2016 ( Kissing-cousins, the soap had two phases and in the first one they were related but no one thought much cuz cousins together are not that big of a dial here… Anyhow they were the main couple e had a sweet dynamic and a grandmother/grandaunt that love them both - Lívia & Felipe)

Viver a Vida - 2010 ( Half-sibling that went on a vacation together and had a kiss before finding out they were related and stop things - Bruno & Luciana)

He’s obsessed over her and thinks it’s a good idea marry her mom to stay close o.o Anyway when she founded out that he didn’t in fact raped the girl they start an affair, the girls feels bad for her mother but don’t actually do anything to stop. The mother caught them having sex and ended up killing herself. In the end the model kills him, gets all his money and marry his nephew - Alex and Angel)

A Muralha - 2000 ( Cousins that are forced to marry - she is actually in love with him - Beatriz & Thiago)

//Big Brother Brasil - 2018// In this year edition of Big Brother they put a father that is 52 years old and his daughter - she’s 18 - to compete together for the price, they kissed twice and people thought is was strange and caused a polemic but they actually won third place - Ana Clara & Ayrton
