Reasons to #reconcile your books is to find errors and make sure everything balances and adds up!!! I once had a client who had the same cheque deducted from her bank account twice (a bank error) - it would not have been picked up if I hadn’t have done w bank reconciliation. The bank paid her back the £950 (this was about 10 years ago). My fee was a fraction of that and do you know... she still took ages to pay me!!!
