HI….👉👈 AM I ALLOWED TO ASK ABOUT YOUR SIBLINGS AU????
sooo so curious if you have an facts or tidbits to share like! whats their dynamic like? is there any Backstory to this oooor just for fun? i am. very very interested ehe
(only if u want to tho!!)
(About this post and this post)
Mmmm! Let me see what I can think of!
Mal's full first name is Maldu. I imagine everyone would call them Mal except for Odile, since she calls Bonnie Boniface, and would presumably call Mal "Maldu."
Mal is like 12-15, I'm not really strict on the exact age. Since Mal would be the second youngest, they would probably like following Bonnie around even if Mal doesn't really know how to "play" or anything. They just kinda... stand there and try to curiously mirror whatever Bonnie does.
Mal is a bit quiet. They can speak, but they don't do so often, and are more likely to speak when they're upset than when they're pleased.
The red star that hangs from their bandana cannot be seen in colour unless Mal is especially upset. Not the most upset of their life like Siffrin, but even just a big cry could cause the star to shine for everyone to see.
Mal is very sensitive and cries easily. Siffrin's grown practiced at calming them down but still gets freaked out by the sudden tears.
Mal likes quietly watching and listening. They enjoy being taught by their allies how to perform certain tasks, and will give that wide-eyed look of a silent "really??" when praised for doing something right. They soak up praise like a sponge due to a perpetual feeling of doing something wrong.
While their right eye spirals, Mal's left iris is entirely white! It's usually covered by the slanted hat, however.
And! I hadn't actually really thought of a backstory until just now, but does this work? I think it maybe could
Siffrin accidentally created Mal through Wish Craft when he had a mental breakdown as a child/teen soon after the northern island's disappearance, though neither of them know this, and they did not meet until a couple years after this happened. Mal's existence slowly came to be with a clear understanding that they existed for a reason, but they weren't sure why. When Siffrin and Mal eventually crossed paths, it was like finding a second half that you hadn't even realized you had lost. Though even after meeting, the two are still unsure of how this happened to begin with. As far as Siffrin's concerned, the two just "clicked," and does not remember the breakdown. Meanwhile Mal's not really sure where they came from or what they are, but they gladly latch onto the protection Siffrin offers.
Mal is simultaneously an extension of Siffrin, and a separate being entirely. Mal was made from Siffrin's soul, even if Siffrin hadn't meant to share himself like that. When one is hurt, the other shares the echoes of their pain. Mal likely severely panicked when Siffrin lost the eye, and the echoing pain in Mal's own head surely didn't help. If ONE panicked kid (Bonnie) wasn't enough, you also get TWO in this AU! Congrats!
Since Mal was created from Siffrin's distraught state, it reflects through Mal in certain ways. How sensitive they are, how timid they are, their unease, their anxiety, etc. Siffrin's helping Mal every step of the way though, and is very protective of them, urging his allies to be gentle with them.

What if IN STARS AND TIME was like FEAR AND HUNGER?
So i've spent the last hour frantically researching phobias for this shit lmao, don't expect any of the phobias i've picked to be canon for Fear and Hunger. Anyways this is a whole ass au and i'm planning to make an entire world setting from this fever mix. Esentially it's gonna be In stars and time kind of plot, with the party going through the house to defeat the king, but the Universe is not as kind to them. if it was ever kind in the canon. all of the characters will be devastated and traumatized or fucked up in different ways, and i'm planning to explain it all below- well, explain Siffrin for now. Even though I have everyone else already scribbled down, i still need to draw their fucked up sprites :> LETS GO
~ ~ ~
Siffrin; Autophobia ( fear of being abandoned, alone, ignored )
Effects; Half-blind ( left eye )
Info;
TW; SELF HARM, SUICIDE [ Canon-typical ]
Traveler from the Island North of Vaugarde. Lost his left eye protecting Bonnie, a child the party came across on their way to Dormont. Siffrin is a short, forgetful person, which has been travelling for the entirety of his life. He met the party by chance, saving Isabeau from a Sadness, as the man parted with the rest of the party briefly in order to gather firewood.
After reaching Dormont, Siffrin makes a wish to the Favor Tree, and quickly finds out the consequences of his actions. He gets stuck in a time loop, forced to re-live the gruesome, painful deaths and horrifying experiences he and his party go through as they venture up the floors of the House. His sanity quickly deteriorates, though it remains more intact than that of Loop, a self-proclaimed star whom he encounters under the Favor Tree after his first death—being crushed by a giant boulder.
Due to him not having his right eye, his depth perception is fucked, and he often bumps into things. After getting imprisoned in the loops, he becomes more anxious, desperate to escape the loop cycle, even going as far as slitting his own throat in order to save time. He also doesn't shy away from self harm, adorning his wrists in "stars", as he calls them- prickling his skin with his own dagger.
He realizes that even after he loops, the scars of his horrible deaths remain on his body, and eventually, his arms and thighs are all covered in "stars", those particular scars being of his own making. Counting the loops, one star for one loop. May become manic when in distress, or have panic attacks. Is incredibly touch starved and desperate for physical affection, but never got around to revealing that fact to his party on his own, leaving him feeling floaty and unreal. Like a ghost of his former self.
Those are just a couple of the effects of the loops. In the end, Siffrin just doesn't want to part with his companions, his friends, his family- wanting them with him so much, to the point of him unknowingly trapping himself in a time loop.
~ ~ ~
Sooo overall Siffrin's backstory/info isn't that different from canon, because he was already going through some tough shit as it was ._. so I just kind of added more mental implications to it, as well as that fun little headcanon of his body keeping scars of his past deaths/injuries. So that's fun. also i mostly focused on the other members of the party as well, since they don't exactly have a lot of angst or trauma ( not as much as siffrin at least ), so in this au all of them are traumatized or psychologically damaged!!!! YAY!!!
ANYWAYS! Who's gonna be next?? i don't fucking know, but i'll probably upload them tomorrow alongside a description explaining just how fucked they are :>

Can you tell me some of your head cannons for the retropolis trio?
Ask, and you shall receive!
Bull
- He was the founder of the Gang!
- He and Pam were married, but a little after Jessie was born, they divorced. This is a key reason why he's not as rowdy as he used to be.
- He went to culinary school and got a degree.
- In order to get his life back together, he decided to open a diner.
- Everybody knows he still can't get over his and Pam's break up and jokes about it with him.
- In this AU (my take on the lore more shall be explained soon), his exposure to the gem's radioactive materials still causes him to go bananas like we see in CCTV, but it's more gradually and slowly. Pam, being part of Spude, soon noticed this and realized that their relationship was as good as over due to his deteriorating behavior. Thankfully, it seems that his mental state didn't fully deteriorate as he still has some sense in him.
Crow
- In this AU, Crow used to be human! However, prolonged exposure caused him to start turning into a crow. It was a long and painful process.
- He and Lola used to be part of a gang. They got lost in the park as it seemed to have kept expanding and changing as the traveled. Somewhere along the way, they found an alive Poco.
- He and Lola were taken away shortly after Poco's death to be experimented and observed. The park wanted to see if they could catch key symptoms that were causing all these werid changes within' park employees and visitors. Safe to say, he doesn't like the park.
- He eventually got out and was found by Bull. Bull was nice enough to give him a place to stay (same for Bibi, you'll see soon.)
- He, Bo, and Mr.P are all step-brothers. They had the same mother but different fathers. He is the youngest while Bo is the oldest.
- He is the sole reason why Mortis survived out in the west.
- Speaking of Mortis. They're good friends (No Time To Explain Trios, my beloved), but GOD do they fight a lot. Spike is tired of it.
- He and Bibi are roughly the same size. They share a motorbike
- He's insecure as hell. And understandably. You'll definitely think of yourself differently with such drastic changes to your body.
- Bull, Bibi, Janet, and Bonnie are at least 110% sure he has a crush on Stu. Stu is clueless.
- Somehow, he and Mortis can't stop ending up in the same places together. Retropolis? Mortis is for some reason there. Mecha Squad? Oh, hi Mortis, I guess you're part of this now.
- It wasn't as obvious in Brawlywood, but Mortis did persuade Crow into trying to act. He enjoys it.
- He and Piper are friends!
- Amber and him are friends that the others are afraid by the fact they hang out. Their trios think something might burn to the ground due to the both of them (or freeze).
- Leon looks up to Crow. He wants to be a ninja and believes Crow is one (although he's not). He wants to be "as cool as Crow" as he puts it.
- Crow and Shelly hate each other's guts. Shelly's pissed that he can commit crime while she can't cause she's stuck with the sheriff. There are other reasons, but that's just ONE.
Bibi
- I don't really have a clear idea of how the park changes her, but as for backstory, this is what I have. She was bullied for a long time for being deemed "nerdy" and liking "nerdy things.". However, one day, the bullying was taken too far. On a trip to Starr Park, her bullies managed to strand her somewhere in the park, and she got lost. Distraught and completely broken, she went to Bull's Diner (the closest place for her), begging for any type of help. At that point, she didn't want to return home to where the bullies were. So, just like Crow, he took her in under his wing.
- She's a huge fan of Melodie! (I thought the Melodie and Bibi ship was cool, but it personally wouldn't work with the hcs I have for Melodie, sorry).
- She's one of the only people not to be completely creeped out by Colette. To a degree, Bibi sees a little of her geeky self in her.
- This goes the same for Brock!
- She'd play Ninjala. No questions needed. Look the game up, and you'll see why.
Overall
- The Retropolis Gang are the Rivals of Ranger Ranchers for obvious reasons. (Spike barely helps Colt and Shelly though anyways and he could not care less for the beef).
- Barley is their therapist. They don't why or how, but he's good at advice.
- They do have a reputation for bullying some of the other brawlers. Especially if their name is Carl.
- I like to think that a lot of the more criminal stuff happens behind closed doors when the diner's empty. When it's open, they disguise to seem just like any ol' regular diner.
- The Arcade Trio regular comes to visit even Rico fucking hates all of them.
- The Undead Trio is visit lots too.
And that's it! If I have more, I'll share it with ya'll!

Some more SOTE adventures! (Yes no work today)
1) I wasn't really sure what to do with myself for now since I prefer to meticulously explore corners of the map instead of going the 'straight road' (that's how I only got to Rellana later), so I went back to my sorry attempts to get down to that village-looking place down in Scadu Altus! And succeeded! Turned out it WAS the place that revealed more of Marika's backstory :') Bonny Vilage, where the potting is done!
(Also be careful if you are selling duplicates, it looks EXACTLY like Anastasia's butchering knife! Makes sense since both exist for the same purpose)
^ This weapon is found in a secluded building literally named Whipping Hut, also near the ghost that reveals the reasoning. I guess everyone and their dogs already got informed on the twist that the shamans stuffed in jars by Hornsent to become "divine" were Marika's village people, so I won't dwell on this. Also I assume the poison in question is that of giant scorpions since they're found in Belurat and close to this village? Old woman in Belurat also gives you scorpion stew if you speak with her wearing Lion Dancer's mask after reloading the area 🤔
2) There is shed snake skin in this place!!!
Really interesting 👀 It was also near a headless statue and I picked 'O, Mother' gesture from it
3) Cleaned the gaol associated with this area too! The boss was one of the "awful posture guys".. that turned out to be an awful posture girl x)
Yes, this boss interestingly was casting darkness all over the area, which is not something this type of enemy does! However, Lamenter also was using darkness if I remember correctly, and his mask says that the Hornsent were scared of this transformation and hid it away 🤔 This reminds me of those Omen Twins fought on the way to the Divine Tower of Morgott and Mohg, who were casting darkness. Basically I start to get a picture that there were things about Hornsent nature that even themselves were scared of! (Scared of the dark? Gwyn approves XDDDD) Just going to put a pin on that for later!
Also they better explain who the heck Labirith is later :/
4) More about this
Yes, I've finally finished grinding the full sets of both Horned Knights and Curseblades! Both sets include the bit about effects of the flasks lessening due to being nauseating! It is pretty clear by now that the Hornsent who currently exist don't know why Marika's people (her most loyal son more like) exterminated them, however their hatred and pain carries even onto their armors.
Have the Hornsent forgotten their history? But isn't the old woman in Belurat an Empyrean too? Would not she be old enough to remember why? Could the carried plot to butcher and """ascend""" the shamans have been not a common knowledge but only a doing of one like, cult within Hornsent? And yet the vengeance came for EVERYONE... Or Maybe Marika/Messmer never revealed who EXACTLY came after their kind for vengeance? Tea? (I'm gonna pick "cult" option for now.....)
5) SPEAKING OF OLD WOMEN,
I did not expect more Miriam info of all people!! @val-of-the-north you seeing this????Makes sense we found it in this building!
6) Yeeeeees I've met him when I went on another path from Bonny Village!
His hat resembles the statue we use to turn that Carian tower upside-down, where we fight Miriam again and in which we get to Ranni's quest secret place! And also unreal amount of wolves on the way to him and in his residence, who are carian symbol. So yeah this guy is 100% Carian!
7) He gave me a map and I'll need some time to figure out where the location is.. I could not use a simple map to save my life, just full topographic cretinism as usual!
8) This item is interesting though, as well as how his mansion is called Manus Metiyr! Manus means hand!
And there are giant fingerprints full of fingers on the overworld map, and those Fingercreepers, and Ranni's place had Cathedral of Manus Celes (celestial hand)...... things are starting to piece together 👀
9) Another mention-only character we will never see? :p Some engineer that created a gun that shoots magic!
That's it for now since I have to go.. But yes, now I am SUPER willing to know the deal with giant celestial fingers having once grabbed this land hfhgfhgh

Shadows of Destiny (Part III) - Redemption's Edge (Kai x Reader)
I did not intend to write another part for Shadows of Destiny. But this sudden idea came to me and just wrote it? You can read Part 1 and 2 here>>> Part 1
Part 2
I hope you enjoy the story <3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kai carried Y/N into the forest, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He had always been torn between his hunger for power and the rare softer moments he had shared with Y/N. As her blood stained his clothes, he felt the weight of his choices pressing down on him. For the first time, he wondered if there was another way.
Y/N's eyes fluttered open, her breath shallow, "Kai, where are we going?" she asked weakly.
"Somewhere safe," he replied, his voice gentle but firm, "You need to heal, and I need time to think."
They reached a secluded cabin hidden deep in the woods. Kai laid Y/N down on an old, worn-out bed and began tending to her wounds with surprisingly gentle hands. As he worked, memories of their time together in the Prison World flooded his mind. He had been cruel, yes, but there had been moments when he had felt something more—something he had never allowed himself to fully acknowledge.
____________________________________________________________
Backstory
The 1994 Prison World was a place of endless torment and isolation. For Bonnie, Damon, and Y/N, it was a relentless nightmare where escape seemed impossible. Kai Parker, however, thrived in the chaos, using the Prison World as his personal playground. His constant tormenting and unpredictable behavior kept the trio on edge.
Bonnie and Damon quickly learned to avoid Kai as much as possible, knowing that any interaction with him would only lead to trouble. He reveled in their fear, his laughter echoing through the deserted streets of Mystic Falls. Kai's magic gave him an edge, and he used it to play cruel tricks, setting traps and ambushes that left them wary and exhausted.
Y/N, on the other hand, was different. From the moment she met Kai, there was a strange connection between them. Despite his cruelty, Kai seemed drawn to her in a way he couldn't explain. He would pester her incessantly, teasing and taunting, but there was a softness in his eyes that only she could see.
"Y/N, you should smile more," Kai would say, leaning against a doorframe with a mischievous grin, "It's not like we have anything better to do here."
"You're insufferable," Y/N would retort, crossing her arms and glaring at him. But even as she did, she felt a strange thrill every time he looked at her that way.
Bonnie and Damon noticed the way Kai seemed to listen to Y/N, how he would actually heed her words when she spoke. Whenever things got out of hand, it was Y/N who could calm Kai down, who could make him see reason, even if only for a moment.
One particularly harrowing day, Kai had set a trap that nearly killed Bonnie. Enraged, Damon attacked him, but it was Y/N who stepped in and stopped the fight, "Kai, enough!" she shouted, her voice trembling with fury, "This has to stop."
For a moment, Kai looked at her with a mixture of anger and confusion, but then he backed down, muttering something about it being just a game. Y/N's intervention had saved them, but it had also solidified her role as the only one who could reach Kai.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The day of the merge with Luke was one of the darkest in Y/N's memory. Kai, desperate for power and recognition, had forced the merge, killing Luke in the process. It was an act of sheer brutality, and yet, when the dust settled, it was Y/N who stood by Kai's side.
As he writhed on the floor, the aftermath of the merge taking its toll, Y/N knelt beside him, "Kai, I'm here," she whispered, her voice breaking with emotion, "I'm not going to leave you."
Kai, his body racked with pain, looked up at Y/N with a mixture of gratitude and confusion. "Why?" he croaked, his voice barely audible, "Why are you still here?"
"Because I believe in you," Y/N replied softly, her eyes filled with tears, "And I won't give up on you."
From that moment on, Kai's relationship with Y/N began to change. Her unwavering support and belief in his potential for redemption slowly started to break through his hardened exterior. It was a long and difficult journey, filled with setbacks and moments of darkness, but Y/N's presence was a constant reminder that he wasn't alone.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Present Day
As the fire crackled and the shadows danced on the walls of the cabin, Kai squeezed Y/N's hand. "I don't know what the future holds," he said softly, "but I do know that as long as you're with me, I have a reason to keep fighting."
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling with hope, "We'll face it together, Kai. No matter what."
As Y/N rested, Kai sat by the window, staring out into the darkness. He knew that Damon, Elena, and the others would come for him. They would see him as a threat that needed to be neutralized, and he couldn't blame them. But Y/N's words echoed in his mind: "You can choose a different path."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Days passed, and Y/N slowly regained her strength. Kai stayed by her side, his demeanor softening with each passing day. He couldn't help but wonder if she truly believed he could change, and more importantly, if he believed it himself.
One evening, as the sun set and cast a golden glow through the cabin windows, Y/N reached out and took Kai's hand, "Thank you," she said softly, "for saving me."
Kai looked into her eyes, his heart aching with unspoken emotions, "I wish I’d met you sooner," he whispered, "Maybe things would have been different."
Y/N squeezed his hand, her gaze unwavering, "It's not too late, Kai. We can still find a way. Together."
Their moment of peace was shattered by the sound of footsteps outside. Kai's grip tightened around Y/N's hand as he stood, ready to face whatever threat had come their way. The door burst open, and Damon, Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline stormed in, their faces set with determination.
"Guys, wait!" Y/N cried out, struggling to sit up, "Kai's different now. He saved me."
Bonnie's eyes narrowed, but she hesitated, "Y/N, you don't know what he's capable of."
"I do," Y/N replied, her voice steady, "And I also know he's trying to change. Please give him a chance."
Elena stepped forward, placing a hand on Bonnie's arm, "Maybe she's right. Maybe there's still hope for him."
Kai stood still, his expression torn between hope and fear. He knew this was his moment of truth, "I'm not asking for forgiveness," he said quietly, "but I want to try. For Y/N. For myself."
Bonnie's gaze softened slightly, but her stance remained wary, "We'll be watching you, Kai. One wrong move and you're done."
Kai nodded, accepting the unspoken challenge, "I understand."
As the tension in the room eased, Y/N felt a glimmer of hope. She knew the road ahead would be difficult, filled with challenges and temptations. But she also knew that together they could find a way to redemption.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
In the days that followed, Kai worked tirelessly to prove himself. He used his magic to help those in need, slowly earning the trust of those who had once feared him. Y/N stood by his side, her unwavering belief in his potential guiding him through the darkness.
One night, as they sat by the fire, Kai turned to Y/N, his eyes filled with gratitude and determination, "I don't know what the future holds," he said softly, "but I do know that as long as you're with me, I have a reason to keep fighting."
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling with love and hope, "We'll face it together, Kai. No matter what."
And so, on the edge of redemption, Kai and Y/N embarked on a new journey. One filled with challenges but also with the promise of a future where love and hope could triumph over darkness and despair.
Bio for Violet, all but her full story-form backstory. Woo!
(made this moodboard quick lol)
Name: Violet Annabeth McCain
Nicknames: Vi, Violet in Wonderland(affectionately named by her paternal grandmother after her habits of wondering off/zoning out as a kid before it all got way too creepy), Alice(same reason)
Age: Around 23 when first turned. Few years older in most I write about her.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual/demiromantic
Nationality: American
Height: 5’8
Songs I associate with her: The Killing Moon - Echo & The Bunnymen, The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails, Fool - Bôa, Zero - The Smashing Pumpkins, Rotten Apple - Alice In Chains, Mustard Seed - Kidneythieves, All I Want - The Cure, Freak On a Leash - Korn
Personality: Fascinated with death and decay.
Feral barn cat vibes. Can come off as curt or bitchy. Afraid of showing weakness/vulnerability(partly trauma and partly instinct, scared of being further hurt/exploited), but painfully craves safety and genuine connection. Self isolates as a coping mechanism.
A standoffish person, until she’s really comfortable. Can be blunt and/or out of pocket without realizing it. Deadpan sense of humor.
Addictive personality; lives dopamine hit to dopamine hit, has trouble telling herself “no” when nobody is there to interject. Craves catharsis(usually destructively).
“I can’t fix him, but I think I could top him and maybe that would calm him down” energy.
Can be flighty, relishes in escaping consequences. Lives in a cycle of numbness/denial, misery, and borderline mania. Copes with feelings of powerlessness/hopelessness with violence and/or isolation and vices. Grudge holder.
Love/hate relationship(kind of a phobia) with deer.
Mental illness: Struggles with disassociation(formed when she was young as a coping mechanism, persists into adulthood). Anxiety stemming from living in an abusive household.
Fun facts: Large birthmark on her left hip. Sometimes whistles when she talks. Says certain words differently(picked up from her grandparents lol) - ex. "warsh". Has an old pickup from her grandparents that she was fixing up before being infected. Always uncomfortably warm to the touch.
A time after her infection, she discovered she wasn’t the only Host THE STAG had. Vi spent a chunk of time hunting down and killing off another Host, which had conflicting reactions from THE STAG. While entertaining and impressive for a weaker Host to manage, the actions still warranted punishment and repayment. That is why present day Violet is far more mutated and ravenous than what she should have been in her stage of infection. She was forced to stop rebelling as such to not lose more of herself so rapidly(for now at least). She remains avoidant and hostile toward other Hosts.
Important family: Mother, Donna McCain(dead). Father, Bob McCain(deadbeat). Maternal grandparents Bonnie and Steve Sweeney-Graham(alive), which she stayed with her teen years onward.
Strengths: Survival knowledge(hunting, tracking, foraging, etc.), first aid knowledge, good with a hunting rifle, decent at stealth. Little more than average knowledge on fixing cars.
Abilities: Heightened senses: can track basic scent trails, can see fairly well in the dark, high stamina/endurance, heightened pain tolerance(or at least ability to mask pain), quicker healing process with greater capability(Hosts are pretty hard to kill), heightened immune system, ability to digest raw meat without issue. Teeth regrow(Knocked one out? Give it a couple weeks, it’ll be back brand new).
Weaknesses: Frequent headaches and body aches. Not as effective in close combat compared to shooting ability. Gets hungry much quicker, has to consume a lot of calories to sustain herself(body weight fluctuates quickly, especially in the winter). Doesn’t get much sleep, always a little sleep deprived. Injury prone(since she was a kid, but more so now that body is less mentally restricted), sensitive to light and noise, zones out/gets distracted easily, especially by animals(on the flip side, gets super focused on one thing and becomes unaware of surroundings), quick temper, foggy memory/can be forgetful.
Fighting style: A stealth and endurance hunter. Prefers to hunt long-range with her hunting rifle, or use traps. Tries not to directly confront, but gets real flexible about that the hungrier she gets. When confronted directly, fights like a cornered animal.
Brief backstory(subject to change as I write the actual story, of course):
Violet lived with her parents for the first decade of her life. Her mother working part-time, her trophy hunting father being an abusive drunk who made existing around him borderline impossible. At 11 years old, Violet's parents divorced - only for her mother to fall ill months later. She became bedridden, and Vi went to live with her maternal grandparents part-time(her eccentric "Grammy" and borderline dooms-dayer Grandpa), while seeing her father, paternal grandparents, and cousins on the weekends. This is when The Stag began stalking her - starting in the woods behind her paternal grandparent's country home, where her father was now living, persisting even as she went back home(albeit less intensely).
Vi was an extremely troubled child during this point of her life, becoming obsessed with death, and imagery of deer. On weekends, she would often disappear into the forest while the other children played around the neighborhood, coming back dirty and glassy eyed to grandparents worried sick. At home, she’d draw pictures—the same kind every time—and stare endlessly out the window into the fields beyond the streetlights.
The child eventually began having behavioral issues; becoming irritable, territorial over her food and belongings, picking fights with other children, and wondering off without permission. The very last straw was when she was caught by one of her cousins in the trees, smeared in blood, chewing on a dead bird.
She was then pulled from visitations and schooling and put into therapy. These issues, however concerning, were chocked up to strain from the divorce and her mother's illness worsening pre-existing conditions, compounding on relentless bullying in school. These claims were solidified as the child’s issues slowly eased with consistent counseling and isolation from wooded areas.
Counseling, however, could not fix the wound The Stag had inflicted on her psyche. Violet’s time in therapy mainly taught her that she did not enjoy being the center of attention—that it was better to conceal things, pretend like nothing was wrong, and save herself the trouble.
Violet, as she aged and The Stag could no longer verbally communicate with her, lost a lot of the memory of her childhood(both organically from trauma, and purposefully from The Stag). She’d forgotten much of her outbursts, and of her time in the forest behind that house. Violet simply tried not to think about the missing pieces, as they both unsettled and humiliated her. The Stag’s voice instead faded into her subconscious, intending to continue influencing her now in subtle ways.
By high school, two years after the Stag could no longer verbally communicate with her, she had become a quiet, well-mannered, if a bit strange kid. Isolated, little friends, trying to salvage what she had of a quiet schooling experience, despite the lingering issues with her mental health(that she learned to push down and mask, if she wanted any kind of peace with her family).
This time of her life was when she really got close with her maternal grandparents, especially her grandpa. Her mental state was at an all-time high. While not saying much, it gave her the chance to bond over shared interests and develop essential life skills: such as underage use of a firearm, canning homegrown foods, and being forced to learn mechanic skills if she ever wanted to drive. Her grandpa even gifted her an old broken down pickup to eventually use, teaching her how to fix it up.
Months after her 18th birthday, Violet's mother passed away, as her condition had gradually worsened over the years. Violet herself had mentally prepared for this, rationalized it completely out enough to numb herself. Her grandparents, however, did not do as well. Her grammy went into a depressive spiral and became all but a recluse, and her grandpa kept himself busy with work and chores to mask the grief.
It was harder to deal with the shift of her grandparent’s personalities than the death of her mother itself. At home was the only place Violet didn't feel like a ghost, or some kind of freak.
It didn’t get much easier in the years approaching her 20th birthday. While she wasn’t taking care of her grammy, or trying her best to have a real conversation with her grandpa again, she kept herself busy. Busy shooting, working, and most notably fixing up the old truck—which felt like an utterly empty task without her grandfather’s help.
She grew distant with her friend-acquaintances after graduation and wondered aimlessly trying to figure out what she wanted to go to college for, if she even wanted college, or something else. She certainly didn't do good enough in high school for any scholarships—and her track record wasn’t the cleanest either.
To make things even worse, missing fragments of her childhood had begun to gnaw at the fragile strings of her mind. She’d recall things — images, voices in nightmares, overcome with a sense of nostalgic dread, awaking as if the darkness of her room and the moonlit fields outside her neighborhood held a thousand eyes, all staring at her.
At that time, Violet couldn’t manage a single full night of sleep.
She eventually, despite knowing about the addiction that ran in her family, found vices to escape her worries, upon her own worsening mental health and relapse into past negative habits.
Violet felt like spectator walking through her own life, watching from third person. Too depressed and cowardly to rekindle past friendships, reduced to an afterthought within the walls of her own home. Tormented by a sickening sense of purpose she just couldn’t place. She felt like a nobody, spiraling deeper and deeper into a black hole of terrifying, confusing nothing.
The Stag did not feel the same way.
Isolated prey are the easiest to pick off, but Violet fell to a much less merciful fate than death.
Deep in the trees, Violet came to know the feeling of being prey—and the purpose the hunter had for her all along.
(Present Vi is two years after her infection, having fled home to live a life on the outskirts of society, in the woods half of the year, venturing outside when she can blend in. She remains as distant as she can manage while handling the grief of the life that was ripped away from her, the uncontrollable hunger and mutations she was now plagued by, and the parasitic entity that forced it all upon her.)
you’re mad/ashamed/horrified you actually kind of like…
Bamon. I hate that man and Bonnie deserves so much better but I think, in a vacuum, they're interesting and have great chemistry. It's the only relationship Damon has that has any real potential for value and growth in my opinion. Ironically and unfortunately I think that's because of jplecs blatant racism. Because she refused to acknowledge Bonnie as a romantic prospect for anyone of importance to the fandom she accidentally built a relationship between Bonnie and Damon that existed outside of Damon's usual pattern of pinning all his insecurities on a relationship and using his romantic interest as some kind of moral obligation.
that being said fuck him. fuck his soul. wish she burnt him alive but the fics slap and they're hot together.
part of canon you found tedious or boring
the season five doppelganger development. Katherine, Elena, and Tatia are SO FUCKING FASCINATING. The endless cycle of being sacrificed for a male character's growth (Tatia to Elijah, Katherine to Klaus and the Salvatores, and Elena to all of them) and the way the memory of each of them influences and affects the way the future doppelganger is treated and viewed,,,, miraculous and underappreciated.
They're a tragedy that's already been written, specifically for Elena and Katherine, their fates are sealed the second they're born, and the way each of them chooses to fight it. (Elena's technique being determined by Katherines before her). It's so cool. And also something I think a lot of fanon refuses to acknowledge. Not just stelenas (refusing to acknowledge that Katherine was his main motivator for pursuing Elena) or delenas (refusing to acknowledge the effect Katherine and Damon's relationship had on his mistreatment of Elena) but I think Elejah's don't address it enough either. Elijah (imo) has a lot of unjustified anger towards Katherine and (while I understand why we don't always get into it because it's a lot) I think it's something it would be really fun to discuss how that affects his treatment of Elena and how she'd feel about it in a self-aware post-Salvatore world.
so yeah long way of saying the doppelgangers were interesting enough and I found the whole Silas/Stefen thing to be a really cheap uncreative way of derailing that when there was so much to explore already.
part of canon you think is overhyped
The love triangle. Damon and Stefan in general. I don't care about them or their pain. I think Damon's dad should have hit him more.
give me Bonnie's backstory, where the fuck is her dad? has she ever had a pet? what's her favourite movie? forty minutes of her painting a wall, idc. anything.
thank you so much for the ask @sevensistersofsussex
TUA OC - Bonnie Astor
Faceclaim: Ruth Connell
Name: Bonnie Astor
Alias: The Huntress (One of the 43)
Age: Mid fourties (Older than The Umbrella Academy folks as a result of time travel shenanigans)
Gender: Cis Woman (She/Her)
Sexuality: Homosexual, Homoromantic
Occupation: Temps Commission Employee – Originally hired as an assassin, would later be promoted to The Handler’s second in command. Despite years of service to the Temps Commission her true loyalty lies with The Handler and not the company itself.
Personality Traits:
Positive Traits: Adaptable, loyal, caring (to a very select few), hardworking, observant, good with words and people
Neutral Traits: Ambitious, secretive
Negative Traits: Vindictive, manipulative, quick to hold a grudge, brutal, stubborn, apathetic towards the feelings and wellbeing of strangers
Abilities/Power:
TW: BODY HORROR AND MENTIONS OF BONES BREAKING
Bone Manipulation: Bonnie has the ability to claw through her skin and rip the bones out of her body to use as a weapon; not only are her bones of a higher density than the average person, once they’re removed, she’s able to control the sharpness of them thus making them effective weapons. These weapons are truly an extension of her in every way. Her body promptly grows a replacement for any bone she removes.
Regenerative Healing: In addition to regrowing bones, Bonnie’s body has the ability to heal bone breaks and skin lacerations in mere moments.
Skin Manipulation: Has the ability to soften her skin at will; combined with her naturally sharp, clawlike nails it’s very easy for her to really dig in there to reach her bones.
Contortion: Has the ability to contort her body in unnatural and unsettling ways. Consequently, is able to hide away in tiny corners and ambush her enemies.
Bonnie’s abilities don’t come without consequence, though she can heal injuries and regrow her bones in mere moments it’s very painful for her to do so and can be quite exhausting. To cope with this, she takes several different types of painkillers daily to stabilize the pain and ensure she can use her abilities in a fight if needed.
Backstory:
On October 1st, 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth simultaneously at noon despite showing no signs of pregnancy until labor began. Bonnie was one of these children, born to a young woman in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her mother didn’t have the resources to care for an unexpected child and thus when a wealthy couple offered her a large sum of money for her baby, she accepted. And so, under the instruction of Reginald Hargreeves, the couple bought Bonnie and 6 other kids to create The Phantom Academy, a sister academy to The Umbrella Academy. Based in Canada, The Phantom Academy were often referred to by Reginald as the Hargreeve's cousins. Bonnie was the Number Two of The Phantom Academy.
At first, Bonnie was difficult to train due to her hesitance when it came to using to her abilities; the young girl just couldn’t understand why she was being pressured to do something that caused her pain. Her parents would hire a nanny specifically to look after Bonnie, hoping to ease her difficult behaviours and tendency to lash out; Bonnie would become very close to this woman. Eventually, fed up with her stubbornness, Bonnie’s parents decided the only thing to do was to force her to use her powers by threatening the things/people she loved. Namely her nanny, keeping her trapped and threatening to withhold things such as food from her unless Bonnie used her abilities, essentially forcing her to trade her own bones for these things. It wasn’t long until Bonnie had become the “perfect obedient” child her parents wanted her to be. And so, much like The Umbrella Academy, Bonnie and her siblings would spend their youth successfully fighting crime in Canada. That is, until everything came crashing down for The Phantom Academy.
When Bonnie and her siblings were 17, they would be sent on a mission that would change everything. Bonnie was apprehensive about the mission claiming that they didn’t think it was going to end well with Bonnie being the most vocal about. However, their parents and brother referred to as Number 1 (whom Bonnie had been known to butt heads with in the past) disregarded her concerns. This mission ended in the death of all siblings aside from Number 1 and Number 2 (Bonnie). Infuriated that this tragedy could’ve been avoided had her parents and brother just listened to her, this caused a traumatised Bonnie to break down and to start lashing out again even going as far as getting brutally violent with her brother.
Instead of addressing her trauma and grief regarding the situation, Bonnie’s parents ultimately deemed her a lost cause, that helping her would be more trouble than it was worth. They told the world she had died along with her other siblings, that Number 1 had been the only survivor all while keeping Bonnie locked away in The Phantom Academy manor. They deprived her of her painkillers, effectively keeping her weak and in pain so she couldn’t fight back and leave. This went on for a few years until one warm summer evening, on the anniversary of her sibling’s death, Bonnie snapped and pushing through the pain, fought back and left for good; Bonnie was never seen again, being recruited by The Commission shortly after leaving.
#some of the details still need some work but here she is !!#she's getting added to the blog with 2 other cannon muses in case y'all didn't see the other post since things get thrown out of order :)#I wanted to add this to the pinned post so here we go#oc info#hopefully this all makes sense I proof read it at 2.30am like a fool <3#so fingers crossed it all makes sense (especially the abilities/power section) lmao#|The Huntress||About||Bonnie|
Looking back at the Adventure Time episode What Was Missing, would you say it certainly hits even more after you see the Distant Lands special Obsidian which shows the reason on why Bubblegum and Marceline broke up in the first place? Sure adds even more to their interactions in the earlier seasons.
Yes, I would. At fist I thought it was just.. the pain ANY added bit of backstory gives.. but when finally actually getting to the breakup for obsidan it's clear they made sure to have some parallels since What is Missing is the first episode to fully confirm (as much as they could with dumb censorhip) that yup, these two were a thing once.
But it makes the moment more hurtful because both of them repeat the same shit that caused their brakeup. Bonnie once again puts how she appears to people and her duty over Marcy, and Marcy once again sings a dickish song to get back at her. Marcy was just getting over her tendency to shove people away and PB still had her massive horrifying control issues. The only reason them reuniting was even fesable is the two grew as people by the finale.
Fionna and Cake has me thinking about adventure time again. At the very least i'm HEAVILY considering finally pulling the trigger on a retrospective i've been planning since I started this blog.
“It’s Not Safe Here!”
Chapter 4: Family Values
Series Masterlist || Michael Masterlist || Full Masterlist || Read on AO3
Content Warnings: Angst, discussion of character deaths, walking in on masturbation, p in v, riding, pleasure crying, mention of leaving a hickey, explicit consent, and use of a condom.
Notes: Finally! I did it! I finished chapter four! Be prepared for backstories, more plot, and original characters for Y/N's story. I feel the need to remind everyone of the heavy canon divergence in this series.
Originally, this chapter wasn’t going to involve smut, but I think Michael deserves to feel happy after the torture I put him through. Besides, I know what we're all here for, so let's just get straight to it~
I also totally self-indulged a little because characters being caught jacking off is one of my favorite smut setup tropes (or whatever you wanna call it). Okay, I'm done talking your ears off now. Enjoy! Hehehe!
William Afton was a sadistic douchebag. That much was obvious, especially now. Wherever he went, he only ever brought suffering with him. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to deduce that he enjoyed the look of pain and torture on others. He was foul, and his latest act of malice took the cake.
It was 6:30 AM the day after my meeting with him when he and Henry gathered me, Michael, and a handful of other employees I could have sworn I’d never seen before into the party room. We sat at a single table, and I dutifully crossed one leg over the other as we observed the two tall tarped items that seemed to tower over all of us.
I smoothed the front of my white dress shirt, which I had neatly tucked into a sleek pair of navy dress pants, waiting for either of my bosses to say something. When silence proceeded to thicken the air, I uncrossed my legs, anxiously tapping the heel of my ankle boot in a trademark anxious knee bounce.
Michael seemed to notice my shaking leg and reached over to hold my hand, which was conveniently left on the table in front of me. I smiled up at him as he squeezed my hand, my leg slowing, but not stopping. Something’s wrong here. I can feel it…
Henry smiled at William, breaking the silence, “Well, since they’re all itching to hear what we’ve got with us, why don’t you show them all what we’ve got, Afton?”
“I’ll let you do the talking, Em.” I could have sworn I saw William cast a sour glance at me.
“Okay!” Henry clapped his hands together with a smile. “While tinkering away in our shared workshop, my business partner here and I have made a revolutionary breakthrough in robotics.”
Excited murmurs began to fill the room as my stomach dropped. Is this where our funds have been going this whole time? Damnit, William!
The murmurs stopped with a wave of Henry’s hands. “Now, after years of hard work, we would like to present to you-” Henry motioned toward William, who dropped the tarps with a sinister grin. “-the first-ever springlock suits in robotics history!”
As applause sounded behind me, my jaw dropped at the two tall figures that towered over us. A yellow bear with a purple top hat and matching purple bow stood beside a yellow rabbit with an identical bow. They both had glassy yellow eyes that made them seem lifeless. The sight sent a shiver down my spine.
“Say hello to Fredbear and Spring Bonnie!” Henry’s warm smile juxtaposed the horrifying scene right behind him. “They’ll be unveiled as new additions to the Fazbear crew tomorrow morning.”
“Cool! New characters!” I heard an employee enthuse from somewhere behind me.
“Not just any new characters.” William stepped beside Henry. “These are state-of-the-art springlock suits.” He smirked as he knocked on Fredbear’s shoulder, seeming satisfied with the resulting metal clanging. “Programmed to walk around when not occupied. But, to put them in costume mode, you twist a little handle inside and all the animatronic parts compress to make space for a human to fit inside.”
More excited murmurs launched from the other employees as I noticed Michael tense up. He gave my hand an anxious squeeze.
“This is dangerous!” The murmurs instantly stopped at my outburst. William scowled at me as I continued. “I mean, what if someone’s trapped in there and the animatronic parts snap back into place? Think of the lawsuits! Not to mention, I don’t think a human being could survive that type of injury.” Another anxious hand squeeze from Michael told me that was a poor choice of words. I mentally kicked myself for being so insensitive.
About four months ago, he let me in on one of his darkest secrets. Something that had been plaguing him with guilt for most of his life.
He was about 16 years old when William let Michael and his little siblings, Elizabeth and Evan, run wild in an off-site storage unit for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. It was Evan’s tenth birthday, so William thought a storage site with half-finished machinery was a decent party setting. Though the restaurant hadn’t been established yet, he and Henry still wanted a base of operations for the animatronics they were working on.
Since Evan didn’t make friends easily, his mother, Clara, suggested that Michael invite his friends to Evan’s party to keep him company. This proved to be Evan’s worst nightmare, since Michael and his friends used to tease and bully him.
Evan feared one animatronic the most, so Michael and his friends thought it would be a funny prank to hoist him up to eye level with it. Evan squirmed around so much that his head ended up in its mouth. The last thing Michael heard from Evan was his crying before the animatronic’s jaw clamped shut over his head, crushing his skull and killing him.
Michael ran to get William for help, only to be harshly blamed, chastised, and even abused for Evan’s death. Clara later grew furious with William for being so cold to his own son after what was clearly an accident in an already unsafe environment, and the two began to argue, which didn’t help Michael’s situation at all.
To further add to the tragedy, Elizabeth disappeared that very same day after running off to play with another animatronic in the storage unit by herself. This only fueled William’s rage toward Michael. I couldn’t imagine how alone and scared Michael felt after having both of his siblings ripped from him at once, only to grow distant from his parents as well.
I remembered holding Michael as he sobbed after telling that story. My heart broke for him, and it took everything out of me not to cry alongside him. I appreciated that he felt comfortable enough to open up to me about this. We’d come so far together, and I wanted to be there for him in any way I could, even if all I could do was hold him.
So, that’s what I did. I held him as he buried his face in my shoulder, and rubbed his back as it heaved with each breath and sob. I felt almost useless beyond that. I’m not great with words when it comes to making people feel better. In that moment, I wished for some sort of magic spell that I could incant to put him at ease. Though the perfect words never came to me, Michael said that he appreciated my comfort.
I wouldn’t know anything about what coming from a broken family feels like. I was one of the lucky ones, having been raised by parents who treated me well in the big city. New York, to be exact. I was studying finances and entrepreneurship in college, hoping to someday open a business of my own, but I felt I wasn’t getting the hands-on experience that I needed. I felt that I was missing something.
One day, as I was coming home from college, my neighbor, Edith, stopped me and told me that her friend, Adelaide, told her that Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria was looking for a financial advisor. Edith was always a sweet lady. I considered her like a grandma to me. My grandma-like image of her was only further supported by the fact that she baked my family cookies every Friday. It was nice that she looked out for me like that. She always made it clear that she had my best interest at heart, and I appreciated it. Not to mention that she just introduced me to what could have been the opportunity of a lifetime for me. This is it! I thought, This could be what I was missing all this time!
Edith gave me Adelaide’s phone number and I found out that the pizzeria was located all the way in Hurricane, Utah. My heart dropped at how far away it was from home, but Adelaide told me not to lose hope yet and later sent me a newspaper clipping in the mail with additional information about the restaurant. I was instantly enthralled by the bright colors and silly characters in the ad, as well as the promise of experience with managing finances in a real-life business setting. It was a long shot, but I summoned my strength and applied for the position. Before I knew it, I was accepted.
My parents were confused as to why I was suddenly so eager to move to a small town in the middle of nowhere, but I had my mind set on my future. Besides, I had originally planned on moving back to New York once I was ready to launch my own business. I dropped out of college, packed up, and set off across the country to move in with Adelaide. My priorities quickly shifted when I met Michael. Suddenly, I had a lover, and staying in a small town didn’t sound so bad. Though, starting my own business wasn’t completely out of the realm of possibility…
Remembering how amused I used to be by the animatronics only made me feel bitter now, considering that each and every one was a walking death trap after hours. Once Michael gave my hand another anxious squeeze, my mind refocused on the worst of it, which stood right in front of the table we sat at.
“I can assure you that the springlock suits are completely safe.” Henry nervously chuckled, wringing his hands.
“Besides, me and my partner over here will be the only ones wearing the suits.” William reassured. “If there was any risk, which there isn’t,” He glared daggers at me. “Henry and I would be the only ones taking it. So, we’re not liable for anyone else’s physical well-being in that aspect.”
“How could you?!” Michael shot out of his chair, my hand left forgotten on the table, as he seemed to finally reach his breaking point. “How could you finish the project that-”
“If you finish that sentence the way I think you’re going to finish it, son, let me remind you who brought about that outcome.” William’s face was red with fury as he wagged his finger at Michael. “That was no fault of mine, boy.” Bastard! I wanted to scream and slap the shit out of William, but I sat still, swallowing bile instead. I almost got fired yesterday for yelling at the man. I didn’t need to risk a criminal assault charge next.
Michael clenched his jaw before he spat, “How could you even look at that face, knowing what it did?” He motioned to Fredbear, and I finally put the pieces together.
Fredbear was the animatronic that killed Evan. Fredbear killed Michael’s little brother, and William finished building it anyway. This was the most insensitive thing I’d ever seen him do. I felt nauseous.
“I believe whatever we’re discussing here can wait until after hours.” Henry stepped between the arguing two. “Right?”
The two glared at each other as if Henry wasn’t even there. The air between them seemed to crackle with tension before Michael broke the silence.
“Yeah.” He slowly backed away from the table, eyes unmoving from William. “Fine.” With that, he stormed out of the party room.
“Michael!” I lept out of my chair and quickly followed him. I heard Henry let out a defeated sigh behind me as I left the room.
As I reached the security office, I found Michael sitting in his chair with his face in his hands.
“Michael?” Though my call was just barely louder than a whisper, his head instantly shot up at the sound of my voice.
“Oh. Hello, love.” Michael’s watery eyes met mine, but his hands didn’t completely leave his face. The parts of his face that were showing through his hands were red and blotchy. I felt my heart sink at the sight of him.
“You shouldn’t listen to William.” I walked over and grabbed his hands, slowly coaxing them from his face. “His area of expertise is limited to creepy robots.” Creepy killer robots, but this didn’t seem like an appropriate time to bring that up. “For what it’s worth, I’m with you. This whole springlock thing is a stupid idea, and you deserve to be heard when trying to speak your mind.”
Michael sadly smiled. “Thank you, darling. That means a lot. It’s just-” He sighed. “What is going through my father’s head?”
“Who knows?” I brought Michael into a loose embrace, and he rested his head on my chest. “Your old man is crazy.”
Michael half-heartedly chuckled at my remark. “When is he not?”
“Hello, Fazbear crew~” The sing-songy voice sounded from one of the security cameras, instantly catching my attention. I recognized the woman’s medium frame and wavy auburn shoulder-length hair as she walked on-screen.
“Hello!” William greeted his wife.
“You forgot your lunch, dear!” She strolled over, handing him a paper bag and kissing him on the cheek.
“How forgetful of me.” He wrapped his arms around her waist. “Thank you, doll.”
As I watched the exchange, I remembered what I’d witnessed the day before between William and Henry. My stomach twisted with guilt. Maybe I should have told her what I saw. I wished I’d never even caught William cheating on her in the first place. I wished I didn’t bear the burden of knowing what William did at work.
Clara seemed like a kind and gentle woman. I didn’t think she deserved to feel the pain that came with finding out that her husband cheated on her. Then again, I didn’t think she deserved to be cheated on in the first place.
I was torn between whether or not I should tell her. Would it be better for her to find out after everything she’s been through or suffer a silent misdeed in ignorant bliss?
Michael let out a heavy sigh, bringing my attention back to him. “I think I’ll be heading home now.”
I let him stand up before wrapping him in a tighter hug. “Of course. Take care of yourself, okay? I’ll be there after my shift.” I tilted my head to give him a kiss before finally letting him go.
I watched him walk out of the door before turning to check the clock: 7:00 AM. Time for work.
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
“Hun, I’m home!” I called into the still air of our shared home as I slid my ankle boots off of my feet. Our house was small but cozy. There was only the two of us living here, after all. We didn’t need any extravagant arrangements.
By the time I stepped into the house, I still didn’t get a response, so I tried calling again, “Michael?” I slowly walked over to our bedroom, freezing at the closed door.
I could hear soft sighs and low moans coming from inside. “Mh… Ah- P- please…”
My stomach seized. Was he sick? Was he hurt? How long was he left suffering like this? I steeled my nerves and threw the door open, ready to help him.
Michael lay on our bed, still fully clothed in his work uniform, but his shirt was unbuttoned from top to bottom. His eyes were squeezed shut as he panted, stroking his hand up and down on his exposed cock. He let out a soft whine, breathily moaning my name.
I softly closed the door behind me and silently made my way closer to him. He looked like a painting. His brow was knit in concentration, and the noises he made were like music to my ears. His cheeks were lightly flushed as sweat began to dew his face. He looked perfect, and part of me wanted to reach out and touch him to make sure he was real.
“Missed me?” It took a lot to keep my voice low and even, but the faint pulsing sensation forming between my thighs made it difficult to keep my composure.
His mouth dropped into an ‘o’ shape as his eyes flew open in shock at the sound of my voice. “D- darling! You’re home early.” Though he was surprised, his hand didn’t move from his length.
I softly chuckled, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. “I came home at the same time as always, my love. It looks like you might have lost track of time, hm?”
“I… I suppose so.” His eyes fluttered closed at the contact. “I’m sorry, love.” He breathed.
“Please don’t apologize. You have nothing to apologize for.” I moved my hand to caress his cheek, earning a soft sigh from him. “You’re so pretty when you’re begging for me~”
He opened his eyes to innocently look up at me. “You’re the only one who can truly satisfy me.” I could have sworn my heart melted in my chest.
“Then may I?” I felt the corners of my mouth upturn in a mischievous smirk as Michael wildly nodded.
“Please...” His sigh bordered on a moan as he dropped his painfully hard dick onto his stomach.
I lightly grabbed the collar of his shirt. “All of this has to come off, then.”
He wordlessly nodded in response before stripping. I quickly discarded my own clothes and dug through my dresser drawer until I found the box of condoms I kept inside. I grabbed one and turned around to see Michael sitting in the middle of the bed, looking up at me with those baby-doll eyes I loved so much. I felt a slick sensation forming between my thighs as I looked him over.
“You’re absolutely gorgeous, my love.” I crawled into bed next to him and pulled him into a deep kiss.
He moaned into my mouth and pulled me on top of him, laying back as he did so. I pulled away from the kiss, sitting up and straddling his thighs to open the condom I grabbed and roll it onto his cock.
All the while, Michael was softly complimenting me. “You’re so beautiful, love. Absolutely stunning. I want to make you feel good.”
“What a good boy~” I praised him. “Always so willing to please me.” Michael softly whimpered at my compliments as I tossed the wrapper of the condom aside and leaned forward to cup his face in my hands. “But, tonight, I want to make it about you, my love. Let me spoil you.”
He tried to turn away out of embarrassment, but I pulled him into another kiss and I felt his arms wrap around my body as he grew audibly desperate for me. He then began bucking his hips into mine, teasing my cunt without even realizing it.
I felt a pang of desire tear through me before I pulled away from the kiss to ask, “Are you ready, hun?”
“More than anything…” He moaned. “Please, love. I want to be inside you.”
I gave him a quick peck on the tip of his nose before lining his cock up with my entrance. As I slid him inside, we both let out a low moan in unison. I felt my mind clouding with pleasure as I bottomed out, enjoying the full sensation in my core. Michael’s head dropped back onto the bed and he squeezed his eyes shut.
His voice grew whinier and he began incoherently praising me. “Mh… Yes… So tight… Mh…”
I trailed kisses along his jaw until I reached his earlobe to give it a playful nip. “You feel so good inside me, Michael~” I purred as I ground my hips against him.
He let out a whimper at my teasing. “Please…” His eyes fluttered open, growing watery. “Please… Need more…”
That was all I needed to hear. I sat up into a straddling position and set a brutal pace as I began to ride him. Michael was a mess underneath me. He was reduced to broken moans and whines that bordered on sobs. He was clearly waiting for this for a while, and I was loving every moment of seeing the image of perfection sprawled out beneath me.
Michael relying on me completely to grant him release. Michael begging and pleading for me. Michael absolutely blissed out under my touch, unable to put to words how good I make him feel. Michael~
I bit my lip with concentration as I felt the pressure in my core mounting. I involuntarily clenched around Michael, and he responded by gripping my thighs and bucking his hips with my movements while letting out a string of incoherent begs and pleas.
“Ah- That’s it, Michael.” I praised him through broken moans. “You make me feel so good…”
“Ohhh… I- I’m close…” Tears slowly streamed out of Michael’s eyes. “Please, darling, please… Ohhhh…”
I leaned forward, still thrusting, and whispered, “Cum for me, hun. Show me how good it feels.”
That was enough to send Michael over the edge. His eyes rolled back and his voice cracked as he hit his climax. I helped him ride out his high as his cock twitched and spilled cum into the condom, trailing ravenous kisses along his neck before my own orgasm crashed into me.
I let out a loud moan as the waves of my climax washed over me. The world slowed for a moment, and the only thing keeping me tethered to reality was feeling Michael’s body against mine. For a moment, I wished I could spend the rest of my days in this state of ecstasy. Once we were both finished, we held each other in our arms, panting and satisfied.
I went to lift off of Michael when he softly grabbed my thighs and pulled me back down onto him. “Just a little longer… Please?”
“Okay.” I pecked his cheek. “Just a little longer.” I lazily smiled at him, my eyes trailing down his neck to find the bruise I left when I trailed kisses along it. I knew he would be embarrassed and wear his collar just a little higher to hide it during his next shift, but I would know that I marked him. I was instantly filled with a sense of pride. My pretty boy~
“Thank you.” He breathed, rubbing his hand along my back. “For… everything today. I don’t know what I did to deserve you.”
“Not just me. You deserve the world.” I rested my face in the crook of his neck, embracing him and his body heat. “And I love you so much that I’d do anything to give it to you.”
“I- I don’t know what to say.” Michael wrapped his arms tighter around me before softly sighing. “I love you, too.”
Before Your Memory Fades - Thoughts
CW: Suicide mention, Suicidal Ideation
I'm back at the cafe! Now onto the third entry of the コーヒーが冷めないうちに book series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi.
But wait....this looks different, yet familiar. I am now at Café Donna Donna for more coffee, views of the seas, comedy, and....death.
And I wonder to myself, am I truly living in the present?
You can read my thoughts here for the first book and the second book. The series do gradually get better and that's why I'm back for more by reading the third book of this series! Even though it's still the same thing as the previous two books, I can see why these sequels exist.
They're saying something different, but ultimately arriving at the same uplifting conclusion each time.
And that's too good to be ignored, even though let's be clear, this book series is nothing special. There's already tons of 'reflexive' Japanese media like this one, and this book series seems to only offer its sci-fi elements to bring something new in the table. I mean come on, waitresses being living TARDISes hasn't even been explored in Doctor Who.
But the thing is....the formula works. If it ain't broken, just keep doing it. And yet, I still have tears in my eyes.
And so, once again, with the album "Steve McQueen" by Prefab Sprout still playing in my ears, wistful evenings in my home, and coffee in my desk, I am back at the cafe to think, to feel, and to go back to the past before the coffee gets cold.
As I finish this book, the cup of coffee in my mouth tells me to live in the present. Full (LONG) thoughts under the cut, as usual.
The first thing you need to know about this book is that while it's set in Hakodate instead of Tokyo, you still need to read the previous two books to get the entire picture. For starters, Kazu and Nagare remains as the main forces of the cafe.
This book opens with a direct reference to the fourth story of the first book due to the timey-wimey things in that story. So you're going to be lost if you haven't read those.
And even though the story is taking the reader into the breezy and calmer region of Hakodate with a new set of patrons and a new staff, the backstory of Café Donna Donna ties heavily to things about Kazu and Nagare's backstory that gets told in Book 1 and 2.
The new cafe is the first thing you see in the book. It has a better description that the Tokyo one and it looks rather unique, it actually makes me *want* to visit this nonexistent cafe in real life. The story being set in Hakodate also gives it a different, calmer vibe. I can actually picture myself sipping coffee in the balcony, looking at the rivers of Hakodate. "Bonny" by Prefab Sprout vibes wonderfully well with the new setting, in fact.
Something that this book also has in that there's a clear device that woven the stories. Several parts of the story contains snippets of stuff from the in-universe 'self-help' book “What If the World Were Ending Tomorrow? One Hundred Questions.” that I find interesting and adds to the message.
In addition, Reiji (the new waiter) and the patrons have little to no connections to the patrons of Funiculi Funicula in Tokyo so these are completely *new* set of people.
With a new set of stories, grief, and.....thoughts of death.
My love and I, we work well together. But often we're apart.... Absence makes the heart lose wager 'Till love breaks down, love breaks down...
New setting does not mean that we're starting from zero. The first story actually tries to subvert the typical formula that readers are accustomed to. Now, what if someone wants to go back to the past to curse and spit on someone for giving them a screwed-up life?
(this means that "Desire As" as Prefab Sprout immediately plays in my ears)
Although the way the story begins is pretty jarring, given that after pages of a normal day at the cafe you're immediately thrown with so much anger. The suicidal main character has so much pain and anger that her very reactionary personality and actions contrast heavily with the 'calm' setting. This, however, makes way for the story to turn into a Christmas Carol-like story where the main character sees the past and experiences a change of heart.
I admit, this was pretty damn effective for me. I actually cried at the end. The bleak, pessimistic main character with so much baggage....i feel her pain. I feel her woes and seeing her get better makes me tear up. It's such an escapist story by the end of the day, to go look at the core of your problems and actually face it --- and have it resolved.
And yes, it is one of those stories where the message ultimately boils down to "things will get better if you just admit your pain", but I feel so doomed and sick of everything right now and this story is a comfort and a reminder for me to keep going, and how things will get better.
If you thought that the first story is bleak enough, the second actually answers the burning question that every reader of Book 1 and 2 might have asked to themselves: "So, if you stay in the past and not go back to the present, you die and become the ghost in the seat? Wouldn't someone attempt to kill themself this way, then?"
And it answers the question with little drama. For starters, the main characters of this story are a duo of comedians. While the book don't get to actually show what kind of manzai act they are (probably because the author can't write manzai but what do I know about comedy anyway), this choice in writing highlights how even the funniest smilers could go down the drain when emptiness that the death of a loved one hits them. The suicide ideation is devastating to read. And it hits hard. With zero funny ha-has.
This is very much a story that we need today. Emptiness is devastating, and it can lead to terrifying thoughts and actions. Even the brightest and happiest people could fall victim to the void.
But this story tells you that no, the glass isn't half-empty. Moving on with the feeling that your passing loved ones are supporting you and helping you fills the glass. The glass is ultimately, half-full after all. And certainly people want to fill yours too.
Oh my, Oh my, have you seen the weather? The sweet September rain Rain on me, like no other Until I drown, until I drown
If you thought that this book will stop there, you're wrong. Third book directly tackles the problem of denying the pain from losing a loved one. The 'denial' phase of five stages of grief. Denial so great, that reality actually crumbles down.
Grief and Denial sometimes blurs reality that you'll run the risk of living in an invalid reality, and this book tackles this topic pretty well and concise enough without being too over-the-top. And it doesn't even add more fantasy elements (the TARDIS coffee is enough). It comes off as All Of Us Strangers (2023) without the fantasy elements.
The main character's pain is very hard to read, it's too real. There's nothing more devastating than dreaming of a passing loved one, thinking they're alive, only to wake up and find that they're no longer here. It really screws up your brain and it's not talked enough, and I'm glad that the third story brings this up.
Yes, the denouement and message of the story is corny. It's so schmaltz! it's so cheap! and yet, somehow, i -HAVE- to hear the message being said to me, as someone who had experienced a similar thing. It feels hopeful and got me rethinking about how to honor a passing loved one.
The fourth story is where it all wraps up. It's relatively less dramatic than the previous three stories as it suddenly shifts into something that you'd see in the first book: the pain of not being able to tell your feelings before it's too late.
What makes it different is that one of the problems that the characters face here is the inability to communicate well. Throughout the book series, this has been a source of many conflicts but most of the time the characters resolve this as soon as they get to do the time traveling bit. Here, it's still a problem even after the time traveling bit, and this leads to the book series's biggest message of 'living in the present' being reminded to the audience.
When love breaks down, the things we do, to stop the truth from hurting you, When love breaks down, the lies we tell, they only serve to fool ourselves.
SPOILER and TMI section!
The third story hit me the hardest because I understand Reiko's pain. You may recall in my post about the 2nd book where I mentioned that one of my best friends passed away.
I still dream of her months after she passed away. Then I woke up only to find that she's gone. It was a miracle that i did not develop any hallucinations during the early pandemic. Looking back, that was very strong of me, to not let 'invalid reality' invade my brain and distance me from people who support me.
For days, i couldn't accept reality. I cried for hours and again. There was a risk that my reality will break down and get me detached. It's a miracle that it didn't happen to me. But the pain made me numb. I feel pain, but i don't know what to do. I became aimless, in which I am facing the consequences from it today.
All because i couldn't smile because of her passing. It's actually pretty sad that it took me more than a year to finally accept my reality and stop moping and frowning over her passing --- through a hyperfixation that she'd be happy to see me showing joy out of. I once thought that my accomplishments would mean nothing now that she's gone, but so.....why shouldn't I be happy and proud? Why should my grief stop me from feeling joy? She would've been happy too, after all.
She'd be joyful if I keep living after her passing, she'd be disappointed if I see her passing as the end of my everyday life, as something that stops me from living in the present.
Everything will be OK. Death is not the end. And she'll be happy to hear that.
When love breaks down, the things we do, to stop the truth from hurting you, When love breaks down, the lies we tell, they only serve to fool ourselves.
And this ties back into the books ---- the stories are touching the subject of suicide that comes from grief. It really, really is a very harsh problem. I get why this book had to do that. grief just kneecaps your life and progress if you don't know how to process it and if you don't know that you can overcome it by making your life grow bigger than your grief (while NOT denying it) and accept it as a part of life and move on.
A reason why I like this book series is for not overly-dramatizing grief, with the dramatic reactions being just reactions to it. the portrayal of grief gets realistic at times. and I've been there before.
Ultimately, installment is about....death and loss. There's a lot more death and the dread and grief that comes from it. The previous books are more about regrets, guilts, and goodbyes and now this one dives head-on to the topic of death...suicide ideation...emptiness....denial...and how living in the moment is the way to overcome that because we don't know when will death comes for us all.
As repetitive as the books are, the different themes of each book keeps it 'fresh'. each book has something different to say, and this is not an exception.
While I highly enjoyed the book, it's not the first work to tackle the topic of death this way. Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit had done this before with his masterfully devastating work Die Tomorrow (2017), tackling the similar topic on how death shouldn't be the thing that stops us from living our lives fully in the present. Death in serenity, as a closure, as the end of a chapter, as a fuel to live in the present.
This book is more focused on the latter. on how death shouldn't be something that stops us from living and doing better things.
Death shouldn't be a reason why you shouldn't find happiness and comfort. everyone dies in the end, after all. and the death of a loved one does not mean the death of our hearts and soul. nor does it mean that our lives are stopped in a stasis.
And also, we should not let death break love down.
Understandably, death can get people bewildered. Death can get people do baffling reactionary things to eachother. Death can change people for the worse. Death can cause guilt and depression. but now that we're still in the present...live in it as if death comes for us all.
Live as if the world is ending tomorrow.
SPOILER and TMI section ends.
When love breaks down, the things we do, to stop the truth from hurting you,When love breaks down, you join the rest, who leave their hearts for easy sex
There's actually a lot to love for this book, from snippets from the aforementioned “What If the World Were Ending Tomorrow? One Hundred Questions.” book that can be fun for readers to answer themselves, seeing a duo of comedians with the name "PORON DORON", the sudden shift to 'dark mode' (black page + white text) in the printed edition to depict a blackout, to a random Connecticut mention halfway through. It's certainly an improvement from the second book.
However, if I have to mention weaknesses --- it's the new characters. The Tokyo patrons all have distinct personalities that are easy to tell. You can immediately spot what kind of people they're like, as much as I had a problem with how the first book was written. In this book, the new patrons don't really go beyond their occupations, though I feel that Kawaguchi wanted this book to be less stage-y and more realistic but certain characters feel undercooked.
And also, Sachi....Kazu's 7 year old daughter has a very...interesting (read: baffling) characterization. How is she 7 years old and reads philosophy, a book compiling academic discourses on Picasso, and quantum mechanics?? Couple this with Miki's lapses of keigo in the second book and it's clear that author Toshikazu Kawaguchi has....interesting ideas of what kids under 10 are like. He really, really think Shounibyou is the same as Chuunibyou. He really thinks that kids aged 7 are the same as 14-year-old pretentious teenagers.
(I'm sorry but writing Kei's daughter speaking old keigo at random and Kazu's daughter reading a doomerist philosophy book.....i'm assuming that Kawaguchi was like this as a child.)
I understood that it's a way for her to read the fictional book so that the book's message and stories can be brought together, but the fact that she's 7 years old makes it jarring.
(but like real though, he thinks that shounibyou is 'kids reading philosophy and difficult topics they deem cool' and not 'acting out their favourite cartoons'.....except that the former is chuunibyou which happens to *teenagers* because they are teens!)
Unfortunately, I have to address yet another weakness, because, again, we have yet another weird writing about 'giving birth is a wonderful thing'. Because I really do not think that the question of "if you're inside your mother's womb and the world ends tomorrow, would you kill yourself or stay born?" was necessary at all. This, however, is limited to two passages so it wasn't as egregiously weird as similar stuff in the previous two books. I do hope it's no longer a thing in the fourth and fifth book...
I do admire how the 4th story doesn't do the "and we're gonna have kids" thing. It ends with an immediate future promise and ends there. This feels like another attempt to address the criticisms of the 4th story in the 1st book, which is alright to me.
That aside, I had a great time reading this book. Yes, the book still felt like an 80s ballad in book form, as was the previous two books --- but darker, this time. And again, that's not a bad thing. It's definitely what the books was going for and I can feel it fully.
We have seen what people would do if given the chance to go back to the past. Now we see that people will try to break from the clutches of loss and pain of the past to be in the present.
And once again, that's arguably what we need today.
Take a sip, and go back to the past. Say goodbye to tragedy, and plant the seeds of the future in the present.....before the coffee gets cold.
When love breaks down, when love breaks down....
And that concludes the month of coffee for me. I will, of course, read the fourth and fifth book as soon as they get translated, so stay tuned for more...
Note (because I can't put this anywhere): If you notice something, I've been repeating "Appetite" by Prefab Sprout during my journey in reading these three books. Well, you can see that it's because that the song and album happens to have similar themes as this book series.
This is a good opportunity to tell y'all why am I even reading this book series. See, it all started a month ago, in a boring morning, with me doing 80s British music shopping. And then, I found this song. I thought it was beautiful, but then I listened to the album version....it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Before you know it, the song was on repeat in my ears. And then, I listened to Appetite, then the whole album.
I thought that "Steve McQueen" is a beautiful, if not underrated album. I was imagining the perfect movie for this album, a slice-of-life movie about a shop that sells interesting items. Records, clothes from past eras, used music instruments, accessories, and such, with the stories focusing on the shopkeepers' sad stories and the patrons taking refuge from their pain through these items --- to represent the sophisti-pop sound of the album.
However, the album having a production work by Thomas Dolby means that the story needed a fantasy element. The fantasy element could represent his 'shiny/キラキラ' keyboard work and synths, along with the album's curious structure and wistful feeling that he brought into. And so I thought, what if these items can send its' buyers back in time to the past, to make them face their pain and resolve it, to ultimately live in the present?
The story sounded perfect in my head....and then I was informed that there's an actual book with the exact same premise (and was adapted into a movie as well, with a J-Drama adaptation coming soon). I just couldn't help myself and bought a copy of the first book immediately. And now here I am, finished with the third book, wistfully thinking about my own regrets, grief, and emptiness, and how to get myself back in my own two feet. And I will come back for the fourth and fifth book. As for the forthcoming American movie adaptation...well....see below....
Last note: Apparently according to the Fifth Book's blurb (in Japanese), there's going to be an American film adaptation of the first book. Oh boy...can't wait to see them butcher the book (or improve, I hope they're fixing the first and fourth story).
But also, it's not an inherently bad idea. All Of Us Strangers (2023) proves that you *could* make an English-language adaptation of Japanese books pretty well...and knowing that, I kind of hope that the American movie adaptation of Before the Coffee Gets Cold will be as good as the former.....though I wish it's being adapted as a British production.
With that being said, hey producers, I have a request: All Of Us Strangers (2023) has two Trevor Horn-produced songs in the soundtrack. And so to make it even, Before the Coffee Gets Cold should have two Thomas Dolby-produced songs in it. Better when it's Prefab Sprout songs. Just throwing it out there.....If the former can have Trevor Horn, y'all can (and should) have Thomas Dolby. There's no excuse!
RUIN Thoughts!
Under the cut for your convenience to avoid spoilers!
I have seen pretty much everything that is out/widely known about as of day one so I'm just gonna ramble about everything. Starting with positives and then getting into the things I didn't like towards the end. Cause hoo boy are my feeling very mixed about this whole thing let me tell you.
I like Cassie! We have proper context and motivation for her right off the bat. Immediate story improvements there!
The gameplay of the whole DLC looks way better. Personally I've never liked games that box you in to one path too much in a way it's too obvious, but the DLC makes it realistic and gives paths that loop back around to places you've been. The map still doesn't make sense but that's just the SB experience at this point I guess.
Eclipse. ECLIPSE. ECLIPSE CANON OH MY GOD. He's sweet and gentle and acts just like how a caretaker should! Sun pleading for help and Moon expressing their pain being forced to work as entirely separate programs, both of them fighting each other's triggers.... Aauughhhh I love them. The fact that all they needed for so long was a simple reboot and there were just no human workers around to do it.... 😭
AND ROXANNE. Seeing the side of the characters actually being child entertainers is so nice! Even if it was done just to make the moment bittersweet. "Do you still like carrot cake? I like carrot cake." They're all supposed to be kind. They're supposed to be good and wholesome and they've all been twisted into monsters that aren't their true selves.
High tech AR Vanny mask.... but no Vanny... 🤔 sure game, whatever you say
On the other hand, no map bot, but mask bot? Clever sleight of hand Steel Wool, I see you
Bonnie design reveal!!!! Further implications that Monty murdered him!!! I...! I'm not sure I like it. It's difficult because he has no consistency in his appearance. The Bonnie Bowl mascot is purple like OG Bon but the design we see in the gator ride telling Monty's backstory is blue. What are those shoulder pads and how would that work on an animatronic, like at all?? He has no room to move his head! Don't get me started on the inconsistent coloring between his gloves and his outfit. Idc if I sound pretentious for this, the clothing choices hurt me as an artist tbh. If you're gonna make him blue let him wear hot pink or or even yellow. Idk idk it just didn't mesh to me. Oh and his neon sign had the star glasses but his cut outs didn't. Inconsistency is Steel Wool's middle name.
What is with the glitchy shadow rabbit? Why is it shaped like a map marker? Is that supposed to be Glitchtrap? A security system...? I don't understand the point of this storywise at all but sure gameplay go brrr I guess
What the fuck is the Mimic. No seriously. I don't know what it is. Why is it here. What is happening. I am well versed in the canon of these games what is- .......... So it's another Book Thing. Haha. No. Bad. Stop that. Whoever signed off on the "let's add book lore to the games with no explanation or fathomable reason" decision, I am spraying you with a water bottle. Stop alienating those of us who don't have the time/money/desire to buy and read the books. I hate the books personally and have been actively ignoring them since the Plushtrap Chaser one. They are meant to be fun side stories for people who want that, not main game canon!!! Stop it!! I am actually begging you!!
TL;DR I like the characterization given to everyone this time around, it felt right for them. Bonnie's design is inconsistent and kinda mid. And trying to force in booklore most people won't know about is just stupid and I'm mad about it. That's about it.
I definitely wanna draw Cassie with Roxy post game- because I do believe she survived that elevator crash- and maybe make a Bonnie design I'll like better. And I definitely wanna see other people's art. That'll be the best part of all of this.
Hello traveler. If you are seeing this, that means you are in the astral plane between universes. We have many destination you can explore. Why don't you take a look around. You might find something you like.
At the moment we only have FNAF and BATIM / BATDR Universes but a Pokémon universe is under development and will be open to the public sometime soon.
For now we come to our first stop.
FNAF AU
As of now I only have three AUs in this particular fandom, but these hold a very important spot in my heart, because these were my first ever alternate universes. So with that here they are in a Nutshell.
1.) Main AU - This AU was the first I ever made, and is the one I most commonly work on. It's not a big difference storywise, but I try my best to fill in any holes in the canon plot. Of course there are a few differences like Michael's backstory is a bit different, William's past and motive, stuff like that.
2.) Novel AU - Like the title says, this AU takes place in the novels in a world where William builds toys and animatronics. It's not much different, but big enough to be called an AU.
3.) Movie AU - This is my most recent FNAF AU and is barely past the conception stage. The basic premise is: A few decades in the future a film company starts filming a movie about the old legends of the Fazbear killer. Unfortunately the actor that is playing William digs too deep into legend and awakens it. Slowly he is driven insane by shadow Bonnie enough that he begins to recreate the murders. This is as far as I've gotten and haven't planned anything out.
Now that's all of my FNAF AU's. I actually have a spreadsheet of AU lore for my main au, I might share that at one point. But now, let's get into my current hyperfixation.
BATIM / BATDR AU
Yes, much like everyone I've gotten back into the Bendy fandom with the Dark Revival. For this I currently have three separate AU's, one with art! So let's get to it!
1.) Main AU - Once again, this one doesn't have much changed , at least in the first cycle. In this AU Audrey is actually the creator of the cycle but is unaware of it. As she travels through, she is given her powers by the ink demon himself, and it slowly begins to consume her. With every banish she becomes more heartless, and creatures become fearful of her. After fighting Shipahoy Wilson Audrey is able to regenerate herself, and fuses with the demon. But, instead of taking the demon's body, her true form comes to light. The true ruler of the cycle. Demon Audrey. With her true form unleashed, she is heartless, and banishes Joey out of pure rage. She is almost unstoppable, but love finds a way. When Demon Audrey attempts to banish Henry, baby bendy runs in, and turns into a more pure version of the Ink Demon. This fight forces Audrey to turn into her beast form, but she stood no match for the new demon. With Audrey now gone, the cycle begins to crumble, finally ending the cycle of pain.
2.) Unamed AU - This AU is similar to my main AU, but warrants its own category. The basic summary is Henry does his usual first cycle, and defeats the demon. But with the ink demon dead, somebody must take his place. After a few weeks, Linda (Henry's wife) gets fed up on waiting for the police, and enters the studio herself to try to find her husband. After encountering a few creatures, she finds herself in the throne room where Henry's satchel was left. Quickly the ink demon approaches her, but he looked familiar. It was Henry. He had taken the demon's place.
(this art piece was a Collab between me and a friend. Linda was their part)
3.) Children of the Ink - This is a AU me and a friend came up with for an RP, so it's a little all over the place. Basically it is a cycle that has grown enough to allow offspring. There are several children running around the cycle, so here's a list!
Lucifer - Offspring of the Ink Demon, created through the ink machine.
Sebastian - Son of Sammy, created after he prayed to have a child of his own to teach the ways of the Lord. In return, Sammy gave up his very own banjo.
Jack Jr - Offspring of The Projectionist (Norman Polk) and Dot. This one is still being worked on how he was created, but he's here, and obviously named after Jack Fain.
Daisy & Zac - These twins (male and female respectfully) are offspring of Twisted Alice (Susie Campbell). Their father is unknown (which I'm thinking either Joey or Sammy) but unfortunately, Daisy is the only survivor of the two. Not long after birth, Zac was eaten by the ink Demon.
Audrey - In this AU, Audrey is not fully intended to be Joey's daughter, but still refers to him as dad. She was created to help subdue the demon, and stop the chaos. She is the ink demons opposite, and equal as she was created with color instead of pure black ink.
With that, the main story is being worked on but I have somewhat a plot in mind that doesn't make much sense. Basically Audrey is considered the mother of ink, and cares for the children after a war between the angel and the demon kills most of their parents. There is also a second part that Wilson captures Audrey and Lucifer in order to experiment with Audrey's colored ink, and create a new ink demon with Lucifer. His plan works and he forces Lucifer to kill his own father. Somehow the rest of the children band together to save him or something, I don't know.
Anyway, here's the art for them
Anyway, that's all I have! I hope you enjoyed reading about my AU's. Soon I'll post more about each of them individually. If you want to, go ahead and ask questions and I'll be happy to reply!
Now go and have a good day!
Kevin’s new Backstory and Origins (Same with Meg I don't have his new design or year later design)
Kevin Swanson: Character Profile
Name: Kevin Swanson
Age: 21
Eye Color: Yellow
Favorite Color: Green (formerly)
Appearance:
* Kevin is a young man with a lean build, but his features are sharp and etched with the weight of his past. His piercing yellow eyes often hold a distant, haunted look, and his once bright smile is now a rare occurrence. His hair is usually unkempt, a reflection of the turmoil within.
* He wears black almost exclusively - a stark contrast to his former love of green. He wears a green and black jacket gifted by his mother, a silent reminder of his journey towards healing.
Personality:
* Haunted by the Past: Kevin is struggling with severe PTSD. The horrors of his time in Iraq have left deep scars on his soul, manifesting as nightmares, unpredictable anger, and constant suicidal ideation. The ghosts of his fallen comrades linger, both as a source of guilt and a strange, ethereal protection.
* Struggle with Identity: Kevin feels like a shadow of his former self, believing he is an imposter, lost in the darkness of his trauma. He blames himself for the death of his friends, unable to reconcile the hero he thought he would be with the broken man he sees in the mirror.
* Underneath the Rage: Despite his violent outbursts, Kevin is inherently a kind and gentle person. The remnants of his old self still shine through, especially when he is with his family. His chill demeanor is a mask, a facade desperately trying to control the volatile emotions burning inside.
Background:
* Family: Kevin adored his father, Joe, a retired police officer who had always been his hero. The longing to live up to Joe's expectations motivated Kevin to join the army, even though they had different interests. His mother, Bonnie, is deeply supportive and loving, tirelessly fighting for her son's recovery. He also has a baby sister, Susie, whose presence brings him a sense of peace.
* The War: The war changed Kevin irrevocably. Witnessing the deaths of his friends, surviving a bomb blast, and the constant threat of violence left him emotionally shattered. The event that cemented his trauma was the bombing that left him alive, but took his friends' lives.
* Rehab: Faced with Kevin’s spiraling mental state, his father sent him to a rehab facility. While there, he began to confront his demons and slowly find a path towards healing. The green and black jacket gift from his mother symbolizes the hope that he is becoming whole again.
Key Relationships:
* Joe (Father): Joe is a loving but worried father. He struggles to understand Kevin's pain but remains steadfast in his support.
* Bonnie (Mother): Bonnie is Kevin's rock, an unwavering source of love and encouragement. She is deeply invested in his recovery and holds onto hope for his future.
* Susie (Sister): Susie is a beacon of innocence and joy in Kevin's life. Her presence grounds him and reminds him of the beauty that still exists in the world.
