(San Francisco Bay Area) Buffy and Binx* are one month old sweet, friendly, curious rabbits, living in Berkeley, CA. Binx is mama's twin with brown ears and spots. Binx is adventurous and brave, the first one to explore new things, they love to run fast zoomies, chase mama for milk, climb to the top of their favorite beanbag chair and snuggle with Buffy. Buffy is a beautiful albino snowball. Their hobbies include trying to eat everything mom eats, jumping in the water bowl and snuggling with Binx. Buffy has gorgeous ruby eyes that are sensitive to bright lights and enjoys having a cozy dim place to relax. They will be ready to go to their forever homes when they are fully weaned (mid April). (San Francisco Bay Area) Hi! I’m Nugget, I’m a 2.5 pound Netherland dwarf mix—I’m extra soft, friendly and affectionate. I give kisses in exchange for cheek rubs! This is my bond mate Daisy Mae—she’s also 2.5 pounds of fluff. We’re both 5 years old, litter trained, fully vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and microchipped. We’re a bonded pair, which means we are a package deal—we can’t be separated. Ever. (Which works out for Daisy Mae since I’m always the one grooming her). Our owner died suddenly—she would’ve never given us away otherwise. So now we’re looking for a forever home. They were beyond frightened when they were brought to Hamilton Animal Services and it took quite a while for them to learn to trust the staff there. The shelter had Thelma and Louise spayed, and after a few months, we were finally able to rescue this bunny pair and place them into a loving foster home. These two adorable girls were given a clean bill of health at their vet visit, and now they’re ready to find their forever home! We’re asking they be adopted as a pair. Thelma and Louise are a lot of fun. They come running to greet you whenever you come into the room, and they’ll nudge your legs with their noses to say hello. When they know it’s snack time, they’ll both stand up on their hind legs to get a better look at what veggies you have to offer. It’s very cute! They are currently living cage-free in a large, rabbit proofed room, and they love having all the space to run and play. We are hoping their forever home can offer them the same free-roaming life. It took a few days for them to use their litter boxes 100%, but they’re champs at it now. It may take their new home a few tries with box placement to keep them consistent, but they’ll figure it out. Thelma and Louise are not cuddly bunnies (yet) and they still mostly shy away from petting, but they’re getting better at accepting affection from humans every day. As they’re still somewhat shy, a quiet home without small children would be best for them. We're overdo for bunny pics! Hopper has been EXTRA adorable lately, must by happy that his wife is done with her post-spay quarentine! They've both been really enjoying this cardboard haunted house we got them from #petsmart , as you can see, it is slowly disintigrating before our eyes! The day i brought Joyce home from her follow-up at the vet, she hopped out of the carrier and Hopper hopped right in! Guess he wanted to go for a car-ride too? XD And tonight our friend Nick visited! ❤️ A Valentine's Day love story! ❤️ In November of last year, we rescued Bluebell from a shelter in Quebec. About a month after Bluebell arrived, we rescued baby Benson from Hamilton Animal Services. Because a single bunny is a lonely bunny, we decided to try to bond Benson and Bluebell. We’ll let their foster mom take the story from here… “When Bluebell first arrived at my home, I could not believe how tiny she was. Being a dwarf bunny, she can fit in just one hand. Although tiny in size she was full of personality! Bluebell had quite the little bunny attitude. Little miss sass would growl and lunge at my feet whenever I walked by. It was quite comical and cute to witness. Bluebell also has a sweet side. She will let me sit with her and pet her but only when she decides. After a couple weeks of having her in my care Ladybird decided we should try to bond Bluebell. Benson arrived at my home a few weeks later. Being a baby bunny, he was also very tiny and adorable. Benson was an absolute sweetheart from the moment he arrived. He loves being picked up and held and enjoys being pet from head to toe. He is a true cuddle bug! After only ONE WEEK of slow introductions Benson and Bluebell were hitched! They have become the best of friends rather quickly. It has been quite wonderful to watch their bond grow. Benson & Bluebell are inseparable now! Wherever Bluebell goes her trusty sidekick Benson is just one hop away. Benson’s gentle nature has softened Bluebell’s personality. She has become quite the sweet and loving bunny. It seems like Bluebell was just a little lonely and needed a bunny companion. Benson and Bluebell enjoy spending a lot of time in their tunnel toy and hopping up on the couch to look out the window together. Bunnies and babus :v soo.... i was talking with my manager (previously a bunny momma) about how LORGE Joyce is getting, and my manager pointed out that... we may have a flemish giant (or at least a mix containing some genes) on our hands O.O Joyce is not quite 6 months, and is already like twice the size of Hopper (who's a little over a year now) and is almost certainly at least 10 lbs by now soooo... hhhh. It's not a problem per se, just kind of a surprise. We were told she was suppoed to be a "mini lop" when she first arrived at @tomspetoutlet , but then both ears perked up after a few weeks (and of course since she's been with us one stays flopped back down...) so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ as long as her and Hopper get along, all's good, that was really our only concern when getting her lmao. We rescued Waffles and Willow from Toronto Animal Services today! Waffles, Willow and 8 other rabbits were surrendered to Toronto Animal Services by their owner. TAS reached out to a number of rescue organizations for help, and when a foster home opened up, we were happy to take in this sweet pair. FOREVER HOME FRIDAY! Every Friday, we feature a Ladybird adoption alumni animal in their forever home. This week's feature is Bubbles and Jasmine! Rescued separately in 2018, Bubbles and Jasmine were introduced in their foster home and they became the best of friends. They didn’t have to go far to find their forever home, because their foster mom adopted them! A note from their adopter: "Bubbles and Jasmine ( @bubbles.and.jasmine ) are the sweetest bun couple around. I am so thankful to be their mother and be a part of their life. They are a very loving pair with adorable quirks and who express love in different ways. Bubbles with his face kisses and Jasmine with her curiosity and allowing you to pet and (sometimes ;) ) kiss her. These two are very special to me and have changed my life in so many ways. I am glad that I was able to bring these love buns together thanks to Ladybird for allowing me to foster and adopt these two. Bubbles came into my care first, being the first ever bunny I’ve ever cared for. Two days after adopting him and shortly after fostering and then adopting Jasmine when she was just a baby to then bond with Bubbles when they were ready.
