may i request a little headcanon of young rafe and junie? hehe

Absolutely !! Young rafe and young junior were like polar opposites. Little baby was such a shy stand offish boy that not everyone liked. He also had a stutter. Just a little one so he didn't talk a lot but he talked to Junie and he would go on and on and on and on with real stuff and fake and she's eat it up and play along with him

Another thing they did was June, the wildling she was got into trouble every damn day. Fighting, climbing, running like she never got hurt and rafe was there to scold her and put a billion bandaids on her cuts and she always teased him by saying " are you not going to kiss it?! " And he'd recoil with so much drama and go " ew no ! You're so weird ! I'm never helping you again ! " But he did. Every damn time

what do you think rafe and junies first kiss was? like did it happen when they were younger? did it happen as the tipping of them getting together?

LISTEN! I think their first kiss happened when they were younger. I have this idea in my mind that they wanted to be friends forever so they never said how they really felt about each other until it became easy.

Their first kiss probably happened on a random sunny day like 6-7th grade at the fair. I have in my mind they had one of those bonds where they were like obsessed with each other. Shared a bed when he stared over, wrestled, stolen each other's food, protected and held onto each other. Leaned on each other whenever. Sometimes the line was blurred but something always brought them back.

The kiss happened and they probably became very shy around each other and turned their focus onto other people eventually but in the meantime they got SO DAMN CLOSE and then they had a fight and ward started getting mean and pulling him away. Making him become someone she didn't recognize or even he could sosjsjdkd

I do feel like a long, late night talk and a lot of sharing and an eventual kiss tipped them into a relationship as well though !!

"sarah might actually kill you if you did." she can already picture the look of horror on the other girl's face. sarah was very protective of wheezie. they had a bond like no other and it was sweet to watch. rafe was just as protective, even if he acted like he wasn't. hell, he helped pull this all off for wheezie after all.

"because i am a master at hiding presents. do you know how hard that was in the chateau? those idiots constantly ransacked the rooms if they thought or knew i had gone shopping for them. i started hiding things in the chicken coop just to make sure."

juniper had gotten everyone presents -- minus ruth cause she's not planning on that woman showing her face. she hid all of them, because even if rafe found the others, he'd probably still look for his. plus, she wanted it to be a surprise for everyone.

He actually giggles at that, grinning like a bashful idiot. " Yes... yes do. " He's helpless when she wants to make him squirm it's insane to feel this passionate about someone. Some days it doesn't even feel real like a dream he made up.

" I'm looking forward to it. " He looks over with a smirk and laughs. " I will I will don't worry. I don't think I could explain to Sarah that I fucked that up she might kill me. " She's like mama bear on steroids with Wheeze.

He stirs the mix and pours in the special butter with an eyeroll. " Nope. I wanted to. I tried to but I don't know where the hell you hid them which is crazy since you hid them at my own house. " and no he's not pouting! okay maybe a little.
