I'm not typically negative towards Skulduggery, it's currently my fav book series and my major hyper fixation. But purely subjective negative comments ahoy.

I have never been more uncomfortable reading a chapter of a fiction book than reading Chap 7 of Mortal Coil. Granted, I don't read a lotta books..

The whole romance thing with Caelan & Valkyrie is weird to me, probably because (as the book states) she's 16 and he's over 100. But I can deal with comments like that ig.

But when it got to the kissing bit I was, and I hate how mean this sounds so I'mma prefice with stating no hate to Landy, physical repulsive reactions. Turning head from page, closing book, body moving away. The shebang. I only really get physical reactions from these books when I stimming from how fuggin cool or funny it is

Idk I'm just kinda live blogging rn I'm tired asf, but I just real hope this thing don't continue with the books. The massive age gap + her being a minor + her already dating fletcher just made the scene really hard to read. But I am gonna work on the assumption that was intended.

Overall so far tho it's been a great book, I'mma get back to reading ^^
