Dragon A Day 2023: DAY NINE: A dragon who needs lore

ummm did you mean like 90% of my dragons LOL. Ok this is Chelsea, one of my many g1 m-pose guardians who i love collecting cos they look soooo good

Now drawing this forced me to think about him and make some lore for him so here we are: Chelsea is a middle aged dude who loves the beach and especially, collecting sea shells. One of his hobbies is to find bigger shells for hermit crabs that need an upgrade. He goes surfing with Bog Snitty and often hangs out with Feesh.

He has a permanent head-tilt, and is pigeon toed in his front legs, and bow-legged in his back. Because of this he often has pain, which is part of the reason he loves the beach so much: swimming helps take pressure off his joints. He is also fat<3

Drawing this and coming up with some ideas for him made me even moooooree attached to him than I was before :D Was this your evil plan all along, Evie? It worked dammit!!

Goanna (me, hi!!!!!) has a floppy crest that's too weak to stand upright. and her cheek frills are larger than the average bog!! dangly bits!!!

Pepsi has this cool SWOOPLY crest that looks like a pompadour :3

Stinkbug has three head crests!

and Bog Snitty has the most TUBULAR lookin floppy crest to give them that surfer dude look!!

y'know what I don't see enough funky bogs. I always see them with Standard Number of Fins which I mean, fair, that's what the site art looks like, but their lore says their crests vary (widely!) in number AND shape, so where's the bogs with heart- shaped crests? the many-finned monstrosities? Where are your funky bogs, people?!

Day 17 Matchy XYZ AND Day 18: Clashing XYZ

Ok first of all, I did not draw the background lol, that is from HERE

So... to ME, all my dragons are matchy haha. The only dragons with clashy colours usually have bad tertiaries, and in that case I just leave them basic. Anyway here is Chickenboy who I think is quite matchy, and Bog Snitty, who I’d say is my least matchy dragon maybe? Although thanks to their accent and apparel, they are matchy. Lol. Oh well. As a reminder, both of these pals are nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. 

I have always wanted to try drawing some of my dragons in the MLP:FiM style. Although this is a very simple looking drawing it took several hours haha. Most of that was trying to design my characters to fit the MLP flash style. Luckily, both cockatrices and dragons are in the show, so I had references to go off! I had to remove most of their markings since MLP characters rarely have any. Bog Snitty looks a lil weird without their markings and sparkles but I think you can still tell it’s them!

Bog Snitty in formalwear...well that's debatable. THEIR idea of formalwear is when they have to wear a shirt and enclosed shoes in order to be allowed into the surf club for fish n chips on friday nights. you tell me whether that counts or not

What's Chickenboy, Crunchie, and Bogsnitty's favorite hangout spot? And is there anyone else might you find there :O

well there's plenty of hangout spots in the jungle! especially when certain branches have been specially designed by the clan's architects to be super comfy...

but really, these three are happy to chill anywhere, as long as they're all together! if they find someone else along the way, they'll be invited too! the more the merrier :)

Day 20 woooo we’re getting there!

Today’s prompt was. “Favourite G1″ which is EVIL because they’re ALL my faves.. I couldn’t even pick a top 5 let alone a top 1...

Then I was thinking about how I’ve drawn Crunchie and Chickenboy doing their sports, but not Bog Snitty. So here is Bog Snitty surfing!! Cowabunga!!
