Much love and kudos to not only Ice-T for years of music that I love and has saved me in terms of rap, but also music that I love and has helped me pull through some of my many struggles with mental health, depression, Aspergers, and suicide attempts. Body Count deserve respect, kudos, and recognition for making music you love and enjoy, but also for making crossover thrash-y metal music, especially in the earlier days when people put you down because “you’re just rappers trying to make my-metal,” and for racist scum for putting you down for daring to be people of colour, and love metal and hard/ heavy music so much that you choose to make that music.
