There are some friends that when they invite you to do something, you don’t hesitate to just do it. @naturallyshauniece is one of those friends for me. On Saturday, we ventured out about 10 minutes from our neighborhoods to @ppptandwellness for a Pilates class on the reformer. I know y’all will click the tag and get details but for the sake of my caption, let me tell you a bit about this studio. Owned by Toya, a doctor of physical therapy, this practice screams Black Girl Magic in every single way. She and Francesca led our duet class and their attention to form, watching our bodies closely to ensure we were executing the exercises to our body’s musculature and skeletal build, and pure passion for the art of Pilates have me hooked. Yes, the girl who PROUDLY and LOUDLY exclaims “I hate working out”, is going to book a multi session package immediately. I loved it that much. How gorgeous is SOL’s Face & Body Bronzing Balm!! I bought the shade Dark, which unfortunately is a tad too dark on me… I chose dark because it’s more cool toned than medium-dark, and I always prefer cooler tones when it comes to bronzing / contouring! I can make it work with some mixology though!! Live and learn! It is very hard for me to resist a Colourpop Sale!!! I actually purchased the whole Barbie collab for my daughter’s birthday in a couple weeks and naturally I had to grab a few things for myself!! I grabbed the Cookie Cluster Cheek Palette (I wish I picked up another shade as well!!), some empty palettes that are GORGEOUS and so well made, and a SOL Face & Body Bronzing Balm in the shade Dark, which I plan to use as cream contour.
