        Something has awakened anew in quaint Kurain Village. Something forbidden, vile. Something that was never meant to be invited back into the world of the living. This village, too, is unchanging. Still a ghost town, after all these years, and she's the un-living proof.

          As she walks down the path to her freedom, she notices a man. Quite an uncommon sight, given this place’s history. She gathers he’s a tourist, here to learn about the supernatural. He’s an impediment to her plans, but no thorn in her side.  “Um, excuse me, Mr. Tourist?”  She approaches him with the grace instilled in her from young years, moving and speaking as if she belonged here, as if she were merely performing her duty.  “Visitors aren’t allowed to wander around the village at night. Emily couldn’t sleep, so she stayed up for a bit and read something light and non-spooky. She had made the mistake of reading a Goosebumps book at night, it was called the curse of camp cold lake, and because of the story and cover photo*, she couldn’t sleep without the covers over her head and hugging her stuffed toy Leena.

#her mom had her at 14yo 😳 oh yea, ik. and obv her mom's parents kicked her out. her mom came from a middle class family. courtney's bio dad (some rich guy who was 20 at the time -yup, he was w a minor as a legal adult 😧-) left to the USA the moment her mom told him the news. cuz his dad had connections, and obv didn’t want ANYONE to know his son had seduced and had been sleeping around w a minor 🙄. technically courtney's bio dad's father bribed courtnye's parents to try to convince them to get rid of the baby (courtney) b4 it was born. courtney's mom refused. so she obv got kicked out and eeryone abandoned her. so her mom, now having absolutely NO ONE, worked real had and made it to the US as the foreigners say "to have a better life" lol. they got there. they ver dirt poor. literally. they could afford food prob 2-3 times a week. it was barely anything. but if they wanted to afford that small, absolutely so small 1 room apartment, an excuse of a home they were in, and have a roof over their head, they had to compromise food. so that's how it was. until courtney, lil by lil started modelling, acting, appearing on ads and stuff. 1 day at a time. 1 year at a time. she didn’t go viral overnight. it tool years b4 she finally broke through and became successful and rich. and now here she is :) love u COURT. ps. she loves her more than ANYONE in the world. ofc she has every right to. she was the only person there for her thru everything. and now she wants to give her mom the life she lost because for her 🥹. best mom-daughter duo in der world 🌍. courtney while in school would usually get picked on a LOT. it started getting physical and that's when she started fighting back. from there she learned self-defence. thus the "brian-punching" queen she is now. 😁
