Re stock at @bodnantcraftcentre today. The sun is shining and there's a positive vibe in the air. I've had a difficult time recently with dealing with pain and both my daughters conditions, but yesterday I had an appointment with my consultant and my Hip Op is confirmed for 12months time, so that's helped! I have been busy, honest! Between kids, sorting my work area and making bits of new stock, I've not stopped! Tomorrow I'm off to @bodnantcraftcentre to take down Christmas stock and replace with my everyday makes. I need to get some good light this week too, to take some decent photos of new makes and load onto Etsy. I mentioned previously that there were changes afoot with Cynefin Crafts. I'll still be making and selling via my Etsy store and @bodnantcraftcentre , but I've decided to come out of the other bricks and mortar shops in January. For those of you who don't know, my youngest daughter is disabled. She's had problems with her joints since birth, diagnosed with hypermobility but after years of issues, arthritis developed to the point were she she now walks with a stick and takes painkillers throughout the day, for a 12yr old, this is heartbreaking. She's a bright girl and a super talented guitar player, but can't physically manage school everyday. I need to take some time for myself and I have decided to return to college one day a week. I previously studied ceramics and loved it, so I've signed up to further this. I also love print making and collage. I want to explore this further. I have signed up to @contemporarycollagemagazine and messing about today created this little piece for their postcard challenge (check them out for more details). So, you'll see lots of different things from me this year. I'm open to experimenting and new ideas and this will spill out to my Cynefin Crafts.
