This weekend I was sitting in my powder room reflecting on how grateful I am to God for my last year of work, blessings and life experiences. Then I received a call from my Auntie that was extremely excited to tell me she just heard my name mentioned on MSNBC. When I asked her what they were talking about she said she didn’t really know and it didn’t matter because whatever it was—it was good. ************************************* Immediately after her call I started receiving texts and phone calls from friends and coworker that also heard the same segment of AM Joy. *************************************** I was honored to discover that I received an honorable mention during these Who Won the Year segment with Joy Reid, Tiffany Cross, Jason Johnson, and Karine Jean-Pierre. **************************************** Although I didn’t win( Nancy Pelosi - deservingly so) It is pretty cool to receive recognition and consideration.
