I JUST HAD AN IDEA FOR A MAY BIRD AU!!

(Also massive spoilers if you haven't watched over the garden wall)

Ok so the idea for the au is all(or at least most) of the characters of the may bird trilogy but in the narrative of the TV show over the garden wall

I just thought it would be nice to take one of my favorite things,take another one of my favorite things and put them together.plus it kinda fits because both of the universes have elements of ghosts,horror and a known evil lurking plus they way Wirt and Gregory got into the unknown was almost drowning and how did may get into the ever after again?that's right going into the lake.

Here's the roles I've been thinking of for this au,I haven't thought of all of them but I just did the more on the nose ones for now:

May as wirt

Pumpkin as Gregory(I see them as siblings anyway)

Somber kitty as Jason funderburker(the frog)

And Bo clevil as the beast

Kinda stumped on how the other characters would fit in this but maybe you guys can help out?feel free to comment below your ideas!also if you would like to make content or art of this au go ahead!I would love to see what you guys create for the au :D

I've thought of some more roles for the may bird over the garden au!also I'm thinking of naming it officially to "may bird into the unknown"

Ok so this probably should have been in the first post as one of the more on the nose roles but Beatrice as...well Beatrice and Isabella(her mom)as the bird family

This isn't really set in stone because I'm not really sure how it would fit but I think the lady could be either Adelaide or auntie whispers but neither seem good enough because of if she turns out being Adelaide then how would the dynamic of bo clevil and her be?and if she's auntie whispers who would Lorena be?still working shopping

I think the whole colony of the undead could be the patrons of the black lantern tavern with Bertha being the tavern keeper

The risk fallers could be Pottsville

And I think Claire arson(or whatever her name is kinda forgot)could be sara

That's it for now but here's an wip for a little project I made for the au ok bye!!(apologies for the bad art skills)
