maybe unpopular opinion but i'm happy with the results! i liked sweden, but i did NOT expect her to get as much of the popular vote as she did. finland was wonderful too. i'm also surprised serbia did so poorly? it was generally a good year and i'm downloading a bunch of these. riveting commentary over!

Moldova: bopping HARD to the flute breaks, singer has weirdo energy (positive)

Ukraine: funky, kinda dull to me, first person of color we’ve seen so far I’m pretty sure. I’m sure he’s capable but this was not a good song choice for me. Edit: I think the ONLY person of color?? Unless I missed someone

Norway: the chorus rips, costume reminds me of SIX

Germany: my mom is so not into this one lol. Fun tho. Love the screaming. Grew on me by the end

Lithuania: ballad with a strong voice. Basic but I x can’t help it, I like it. Win in my book

Slovenia: overwhelming number of white boys, they look like they’re gonna tell me I’m beautiful in a sec. Needs some bass. So much treble. I think I could like this a lot with some minor adjustments

Croatia: YMCA. Macarena. I’m not into the shock factor performances but I’m glad I got to see it lol
