Hello Hello! So if anyone has seen, I've been talking about working on a new Kirishima fic set in the Fractured Flame universe- This is not that. This is another repost of one of my old favourites, but I promise I AM WORKING ON KIRISHIMA! Anyway, I wrote this for a BNHarem discord collab ages ago, and love it too much to let it die <3
Pairing: Pro Hero!Bakugou x Reader
Word Count: 4,636
Warnings: Fluffy and Smutty, There is an explosion and a description of the aftermath, Office Sex, Squirting and, you know me, there's a Creampie <3
Enjoy!
Working at the Ground Zero hero agency had perks. There was a fantastic coffee shop across the road, with surprisingly reasonable prices, it’s near to the bus stop, and the wide and tall windows allowed you a beautiful view of the city. The number of ridiculously attractive heroes that worked there was also a very welcome perk.
With the likes of Red Riot, Chargebolt, Pinky and Cellophane in their ranks, you had no shortage of eye candy every day. But somehow, they were consistently overshadowed by the most domineering presence in the office. The boss, Dynamight, always took over the room simply by being there.
You were just a secretary, doing nothing more than assisting with filing of paperwork, fielding calls, and similar clerical duties. You were friendly enough with the heroes, but you always wondered why they ever even made time to come and say hi to such a lowly employee like yourself. Pinky would occasionally come over and chat about your plans for the weekend, giggling with you about going to this club or that, telling you wild stories about her own time in various parties. Red Riot would bring you coffee sometimes, claiming that you needed the help to keep you going in a busy office like theirs. Chargebolt and Cellophane, predictably, would come over and flirt with you at every opportunity they could, leaning against your desk with charming grins. But the boss… He would simply eye you from across the room, his calculating gaze following you as you went to the copy machine, or had to deliver papers to another secretary. It was a little unnerving, to have him watch you so closely, but a small part of you always felt a small thrill run through you at his attention. You never saw him do it to any other employee. Just you.
At first, you thought you’d upset him somehow, going over every action in your head to find what you’d done wrong, coming up empty. Sure, you’d made a few mistakes when you first started working for the agency, but that had been so long ago! And you’d been new, everyone makes mistakes at first! You made it a point to become an exemplary employee from then on, double and triple checking your work before handing it in, and making sure it got in early if possible. The other heroes had commented on your increase in ability, making you smile at your success. Dynamight simply huffed at you, his eyes scanning over you from head to toe, making your back straighten. He hadn’t said a word until his friends began to leave, walking past you and ducking down at the last minute to rumble out a quiet ‘good job.’ as he left, acting as if nothing had happened.
That was the first time you’d had the thought cross your mind.
Did he like you?
You’d dismissed the thought almost immediately. A secretary at his agency, with a weak quirk that was barely usable? No way he even saw you as more than a gnat buzzing around him on a daily basis, able to be ignored but always there.
And yet, as time went on, you noticed more and more. His friends would be huddled around him, glancing in your direction with shit-eating grins and murmuring to him, and he would frown at their words, stomping off with pink dusting his high cheekbones. The eyes that watched you so closely as you walked past wouldn’t be trained on you in general, but your face directly. Sometimes you even caught him staring at your ass as you went past, going back to his conversation with a clearing of his throat.
He never approached you, and you never brought it up.
How could you? Not only was he miles out of your league, but he was your boss. There was no way you could pursue him, and he obviously wasn’t into you enough to speak to you about it. You let it go, resigning yourself to pine over him in secret, never revealing to anyone about your secret.
“You like Bakugou, don’t you?” Pinky sure had a weird way of starting conversations, jolting you out of some document you’d been working on on your laptop. You looked up at her with wide eyes, your brows furrowing. “I mean, you look at him a lot. I know most people do, but- like- you really take the cake, sweetie.” She was leaning her hip against your desk, one hand placed on the surface as she gave you a wicked grin. The glint in her eyes was positively evil, flicking over to where Dynamight and Red Riot were talking in his office, the door open. Both of their brows were furrowed, their hushed conversation seeming a lot more serious than their usual banter. You looked through the door for a moment before shaking yourself out of your distracted state, looking up at Pinky with flushed cheeks.
“I- I don’t know what you’re talking about. I only look at Dynamight as my boss, that’s all.” Her grin only widened, a giggle escaping her lips as she shakes her head. She threw a thumb over in the direction of the men, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Don’t panic, silly! He’s totally into you too. You should see the way his ears perk up whenever anyone mentions you.” She leans down further, seemingly about to whisper something to you, but she’s interrupted by a new voice.
“What are we talkin’ about?” Chargebolt sauntered over, holding a mug of coffee as he looked between the two of you. You go to open your mouth, but a further different voice cuts you off before you can speak.
“We talkin’ about Blasty and his crush? Oh, I am so here for that.” Cellophane joined up, leaning an elbow on Chargebolt’s shoulder, his wide grin focused down on you. With all 3 heroes focusing on you, your face flushed further, making you shuffle the papers on your desk and look for something, anything to change the conversation. You cleared your throat, wondering if bringing up the weather was too obvious a deflection, when a booming voice called out to the 3 heroes crowding you.
“Oi! Get the hell in here, we got plans to go over.” Dynamight addressed his colleagues, but his eyes were solely focused on you, flitting over you as if to check you were okay. As the three groaned and dragged themselves away, you couldn’t help but give him a small smile and a thankful nod.
He didn’t give you anything in return, but the way his shoulders seemed to relax made something in your chest flutter.
-------------------------------------------------
Their plans to infiltrate a villain hideout had been perfect, Dynamight’s tactical thinking making everything go off without a hitch. All 5 heroes had been celebrated for their bravery, quick thinking and overall skill, as this had been a big job catching a sought-after villain. You were happy for them, even if it meant a mountain of paperwork for you. It should have been boxed off, over and done with. So why was the office on fire, debris and smoke everywhere?
You coughed, dragging yourself out from under your desk where it had ended up overturned on top of you, raising a hand to your head to feel the sticky wetness of blood coating it. Squinting through the smoke, your hand flew to your mouth, seeing your desk neighbor lying on the floor, his neck twisted at an odd angle and his eyes wide open. You wanted to scream, to get help, but the rest of the office was in chaos. Ears ringing, you looked around once more, your eyes landing on one of your heroes carrying another worker away and toward the exit, calling out orders to other people. Red Riot seemed to have his hands full there, but you opened your mouth to try and shout for him anyway, desperate to get help for your coworker and friend.
Nothing came out of your mouth, just a croak that was lost among the screams and sounds of the agency falling apart. Tears pooled in your eyes as panic welled within you, until you managed to make out a garbled and quiet version of your name in the ringing of your ears. You turned your head, seeing Dynamight running toward you, falling to his knees as his hands cupped your face gently, tilting it and frowning when he saw your head injury. He spoke to you, but the words didn't make sense, you couldn’t hear him properly. You shook your head at him, pointing to your coworker. “He- he needs help… You have to- to help him!” You grasped onto his gauntlets, your eyes pleading with his. Dynamight turned to look at your coworker, his expression tightening as he looked back at you and shook his head, reaching to hook his arm under your knees to pick you up. You fought his grasp, screaming that your friend needed help more than you. Didn’t they understand? His neck- surely his injury was worse, you could wait, he needed someone to help him! The further you got from the wreckage of the office, the less your ears rang, finally allowing you to hear Dynamight’s words. “He’s gone… It’s too late, we can’t help him, we gotta get you out of here…” Gone… too late…Your eyes fluttered shut as the world was enveloped in black, your mind too exhausted to keep up.
-------------------------------------------------
It smelled clean. Too clean, and there was an incessant beeping that wouldn’t shut the fuck up somewhere off to your left. You frowned, trying to open your eyes and immediately closing them in pain when the stark white ceiling and fluorescent lights blinded you. Trying again, slowly this time, you squinted your eyes open, moving to raise your arm to rub your eyes and stopping when you felt a tug at your elbow joint. Looking down, you saw an IV attached to you, and your frown deepened.
What the fuck happened? Finally registering a hushed but angry sounding voice in the room with you, you glanced around. Near the doorway, wearing casual clothes and holding his phone up to his ear, Dynamight was hissing at someone on the other end of the line. “... don’t care about the costs, I’ll help cover ‘em. We gotta get the office rebuilt… Listen, Shitty Hair, I won’t let some minor thugs think we can be taken down by something like this. We get rebuilt, and show ‘em they can come at us with whatever they got- we ain’t stoppin’.” He turned in place, his eyes roving over the floor, up the bed, and finally resting on your open eyes. His own eyes widen at the sight of you awake, his feet already bringing him closer. “...gotta go.”
Dynamight hung up the phone, pocketing it as he stopped by the side of your bed, leaning both hands on the covers. You eyed him for a moment, unsure what to say, before you tentatively reached out, covering his hand with yours as tears filled your eyes. “Thank you. For saving me.” His hand froze under yours, his eyes shooting to stare at the limbs with what looked like panic before he relaxed, flipping his hand over to grip yours. With a sigh, his free hand came up to scrub down his face, his eyes moving to yours and staying locked on the bandage you could feel above your eye. “Scared the shit outta me, princess. Thought- with how close you were to the door- didn’t think you’d made it.” His words are tight, almost choked, and you frown at him.
“What happened? I don’t really… remember…” “S’fine, doctors said it’d probably be blurry. We thought we got ‘em all. But we missed one, a guy who was pretendin’ to be quirkless. We didn’t think he was even really one of the villains, more like a civilian caught up in it… just a good actor, I guess. He- he built a bomb. Packaged it up like a delivery and dressed the part, got in and left it on my desk. He had the detonator and I got him before he was outta the building but he- turns out he had a quirk. Technopath, or some shit, let him detonate it even though we were downstairs… I’m- I’m so sorry, I thought I got ‘em all…” His free hand clenched into a fist, you’d never seen him look so distraught. You squeezed the hand still in your grip, giving him a small smile. “You had no way of knowing, Dynamight. You did everything you were supposed to.” “Bakugou. Don’t bother with my hero name here.” Your eyes widened, but you nodded. Without letting go of your hand, Bakugou pulled a chair up to the side of your bed, staring at your intertwined fingers. You’d never been this close to him, not like this, but right now you needed the comfort. Not questioning it, you let him play with your hand, enjoying the companionable silence until he opened his mouth again.
“I really thought… When I got up there, and saw everything all- destroyed… I really thought I’d lost you.” You frowned, about to speak, but he cut you off. “Don’t- Just lemme talk, okay? I’m a coward. I spent all this time tellin’ myself I didn’t have to tell you, because you were always right there for when I was ready. Let myself think nothin’ would ever happen, but- then it did. And when I got up there and couldn’t find you… I just thought- I thought ‘I should have told her.’ Because I didn’t think I had a chance. And then I saw you, and it was like I had a second chance. So here I am- takin’ that chance. You know what I’m talkin’ about, right?” Bakugou turned his head towards you, his eyes pleading, a nervous twitch to his brow. Your eyes had widened a long time ago, your heart pounding in your chest as you processed his words.
Slowly, a smile crept across your lips, your head nodding. “Yeah, I know. I’d like that, a lot.”

It’s amazing the difference a few weeks can make.
A few weeks ago, you never would have dreamed that you could call Katsuki Bakugou yours, and yet here you were. Turns out that dating your boss is okay if your boss is literally at the top of the food chain at work, and no one is going to call him out on his shit. Mina, Sero, Kaminari and Kirishima were overjoyed at this development, teasing Bakugou at every opportunity they could, not having to hide it in front of you anymore. This in turn delighted you, loving the blush and harsh glare that would appear on his face, the soft pops and crackles of his palms becoming one of your favourite sounds. He took you on modest, low key dates, to keep you away from the prying eyes of the public, and you loved how silently affectionate he became. A hand in yours as you walked home after a date, a gentle kiss at your doorstep, a lingering touch at your lower back as you turned away that had your thighs tingling.
The little glint of hunger in his eyes as he watches you leave.
It was like you were back in high school, closing your front door and squealing into your hands after each date, wanting more than anything to drag him into your home and fuck him senseless right there in the entryway. The only thing stopping you was that every time you tried to, he stopped and said he had something special planned for your first time together. You trusted that he knew what he was doing.
As he walked you toward the office one evening, you thought he’d lost his mind.
You had been having nightmares about the building ever since the event, waking up gasping for air as if you were still stuck in the smoke filled room. Your heart was pounding just looking at the building, your steps slowing until you came to a complete stop, looking at him warily. He gave you a rare smile, tugging on your hand gently to bring you into his side. “Just trust me, yeah?”
And you did. Because he’d never done a single thing to make you lose faith in him, even before you were together, there was probably no one else on the planet that you trusted more.
Bakugou walked you into the building, keeping you tucked into his side the whole time. It was odd being here after hours, the building looking so dark compared to the usual bright sunlight that filtered through the large glass walls. When you arrived at your floor, the lift gave a soft ding! to alert you, and you held your breath.
Suddenly, you understood.
The whole floor had been refurbished, reinforced walls around those with cubicles, the offices with their large, see through windows being replaced with thicker, frosted glass and thicker doors, everything redesigned with a more durable design in mind. It looked entirely different, a clean slate.
Your desk was right outside of Bakugou’s door.
“I wanted to keep you close, in case anything happens again…” Bakugou’s free hand reached up to swipe at his nose, a bashful blush trickling across his cheeks. Your eyes watered slightly as you realised that he’d done this for you. The other staff would benefit too, of course, but he’d made some of the changes with you and your fears in mind, bringing you back here to show you that it wasn’t the same anymore, that you wouldn’t ever be back in that position again.
You threw your arms around him, burying your face in his chest as his arms wrapped around you, holding you close. A soft kiss to the top of your head had you pulling back, looking up at him for just a moment before you pushed up to press your lips to his. One of his hands came up to cradle your cheek, keeping you from moving away as he kissed the breath from your lungs, pushing you back against the lift doors, the cool metal biting at your back through your clothes.
Bakugou reached down, grasping your thighs and lifting you, wrapping your legs around his waist as he carried you through the office space and into his office, kicking the thick door closed behind him and seating you on the edge of his desk. He finally pulled back, letting you breathe as he moved his lips to your neck, inching toward your collarbone. When he found that little spot on your collarbone that had you gasping, he smirked into your skin, biting down on the flesh softly before latching his lips there, leaving behind a deep mark. Finally leaning back, he reached up to grasp the back of your head, tugging it so he could straighten up and look down at your panting form.
“Gonna help me christen the office, princess?” The pet name had your core throbbing, your mouth parting around a soft moan as you nodded your head, his lips spreading into a dark grin. You’d been waiting weeks for this, for him, and now that he was between your thighs, his hard length pressed up against your pussy through your clothes, you couldn’t wait to get him inside you. Bakugou reached for the hem of your shirt, ripping it up and off you. Pulling one of the cups of your bra down, he moved to wrap his lips around your nipple, making you unwrap your hands from his neck, leaning back on the desk to give him better access. The office was so quiet, just the lewd noise of Bakugou sucking on your breast and your soft panting filled the air, one of your hands moving to unclip your bra behind your back. As the garment fell down your arms, one of his hands came up to tweak at your other nipple skillfully, a sharp pinch making you cry out for him.
The way he handled you, harshly but as if you would break if he went too hard, was making your brain fog over with lust. You couldn’t focus on anything but him, his tongue flicking at your nipple, his fingers on your breast, his hips rolling into yours slowly. It was too much, it wasn’t enough, you just needed more. Bringing one hand up to his shirt, you tugged at it until he understood you wanted it off, leaning away and pulling it over his head to reveal what could only be described as an adonis-like body. Pale scars littered his skin, evidence of his past battles, and you reached out to trace a few of them softly, flicking your eyes up to his before leaning forward to kiss him once again. Bakugou placed his hands firmly on your hips, pulling them closer to grind into you more intently. Forgoing his scars, you let your hand trace down his abs, feeling them twitch under your fingers until you reached his waistband, undoing his jeans deftly and reaching into his pants to cup his erection through his boxers. He hissed into the kiss, his lips separating from you as he rested his forehead against yours, looking down at where your hand disappeared into his open jeans.
Smirking at his reaction, you pushed at his clothing until both his pants and boxers were around his thighs, freeing his cock for you to wrap your hand around. Your mouth filled with saliva just looking at his cock, long and thick and just asking for you to wrap your lips around it instead, but Bakugou wouldn’t let you move him away to get to your knees. “Sorry, babe, but if you put that pretty mouth on me I won’t last. Next time.” Pouting, you nodded your head at him, moving to get your own jeans off. Bakugou helped pull them off you, leaning back to get a good look at you when you were bare before him. He bit his lip, eyes tracing over every curve, every piece of skin hungrily, and your face heated at his attention. “So fuckin’ beautiful…” You didn’t have time to react to his uttered words, because in the next moment he had you on your back on his desk, his hands pushing at the backs of your thighs to push them against your chest. His mouth descended on your aching core, tongue pushing into you to taste the sweet wetness gathered there, before he moved it up to your clit, suckling harshly at your sensitive bud. You cried out sharply at his treatment, a hand shooting down to tangle in his hair, fingers tightening in his soft strands as your walls pulsed around nothing, begging for something to fill you. Bakugou stood, separating from your clit with a pop! as he grinned down at you. “Sorry, needed to have a taste of that sweet pussy, princess. Tastes just like I thought- perfect.” Eyes hooded, chest heaving, you were about to scream at him to just fuck you already, but he seemed to get the idea from your look. Bakugou pressed the blunt head of his cock to your entrance, one hand keeping one of your thighs pressed open for him while the other squeezed at the base of his length. He looked up to lock eyes with you once more, a brow raised in question, giving you one last chance to back out. You nodded as you braced yourself, knowing that this would hurt a little as he wasn’t exactly small.
Bakugou pushed his hips forward, the head of his cock popping past your entrance, the both of you exhaling slowly as he pushed further and further into your core, parting your walls until his hips were flush with yours. You dragged in a ragged breath, the burning stretch edging on pain before melting into complete pleasure. Head falling back onto the table, your eyes rolled back as you squeezed around him experimentally, relishing in his groan at your actions. He swatted at your thigh as he began to pump his hips, moving both hands to your hips in order to pull you into his thrusts. Your mind was reeling with pleasure, unable to think of anything other than the drag of his thick cock against your walls. Moans tumbled freely from your lips, mostly incoherent versions of his name, interspersed with oh god’s and right there!’s. Bakugou himself wasn’t faring much better, groans leaving him on every other thrust, his brows furrowed in pleasure as he watched his cock disappear into your pliant body.
Bakugou lifted your legs to rest both of your ankles on one broad shoulder, arms wrapping around your thighs as he pounded into you harder, yanking you into each pump of his hips, his eyes focused on your face. Watching you fall apart around him like this, was all he’d wanted for so long, now that he had it… he knew he wouldn’t ever be able to get enough. He was getting drunk off the feeling of your pussy pulling him deeper. Burying himself deeper until his tip was hitting against your cervix, the feeling causing your eyes to shoot wide open, a pressure building in your lower belly. Bakugou’s length hitting so deep and dragging against that special spot inside you, it was so much more than you’d ever felt before, that pressure building and building, a worried look appearing on your face that he catches immediately. He slows down a little, looking at you in confusion. “I- Something feels- weird- pressure…” Your words come out disjointed with his hips still slapping against you, and it takes him a second to process. Once he does, all he does is smirk and lean over you further, resuming his original pace and power, ignoring your worried words. You try to push against his abdomen, concerned at the pleasure building within you, but he’s so strong that he barely budges. Your walls start to flutter around him as you approach your climax, clamping down on him rhythmically, until-
“C’mon, princess. Make a mess on me, lemme have it.”
It seems that his words are all you needed, flying over the edge of your orgasm as that pressure released, your cunt gushing around him as you came harder than you ever had before, your vision whiting out and your mouth caught wide open in a silent scream. Bakugou watched you come undone, your pussy clenching so hard and drawing him deeper, his own release taking over as he pumped into you, hard, and shot ropes of come deep into your body. He slowed gradually, panting hard over you as he let your legs fall to the side. The two of you caught your breath, Bakugou pressing soft kisses to your chest as he rested his forehead on your collarbone. You ran your fingers through his hair, basking in the glow of your orgasm, until he shattered the moment with a snort. With a raised brow, you looked down at him as he propped his chin on your chest.
“You fuckin’ squirted on me. So dirty, princess.” Huffing in indignation, you pushed on his forehead, ignoring his chuckles as he pulled out of you, both of you getting dressed slowly. He caught your elbow, pulling you close and pressing a quick kiss to your lips. “Hey- I didn’t say I didn’t like it. In fact…” He leaned down, pressing his lips to your ear as he murmurs;
“...I wanna find out how many times I can get you to squirt for me back home, baby.”
You shuddered, dressing quickly and practically dragging him back to your apartment.

After the long day of gathering things to set up your room for that night, You came back to your inn to set up the items you had purchased earlier in the day in your room. Once you were happy with the way you had thing set up, you went backdown into the Tavern to work until you closed up for the evening. During the day, you were cleaning up a section of the counter when the Lieutenant was sitting at the bar, staring at you with a smirk plastered on his face.
“What do you want?” You asked as you pulled a glass over and cleaned it. “My dear, I want you to share my bed tonight.” He spoke. You froze and set the glass down that you had been cleaning.
“Do you know I’m already spoken for? I have a mate.” You spoke and showed him the faint outline of your mark. “Where is your mate? I Should tell you that my sources tell me that your mate is one of those filthy pirates. Not just any pirate though. You hooked one of those Captains to share your bed, you whore.” He spoke, his eyes widening and he rocked back in his seat laughing.
“I am not a whore, you brute. Get out of my establishment now before I have one of my guards drag you out. You might be one of the King’s guards but you are not welcome to this island.” You spoke in a firm tone. The scarred soldier got up and tilted his hat to you before leaving your tavern, as he didn’t want to stir up any commotion.
You huffed and went about your day, working and trying to calm your mind before that night when you’d help Shouta through his transformation. You decided to make him a special dinner to welcome him back home so, you decided to go into the market and pick up some special ingredients that you only bought on a special occasion. As you were shopping, you didn’t notice the patchworked soldier following you.
You had finished your shopping and was walking home when you were pinned to the wall of your Tavern, nearly dropping the contents of your basket. “You’re going to regret refusing my offer earlier, Y/n.” He spoke, tilting your head up slightly with a crooked finger tucked under your chin and leaning in for a kiss. You stared off at the full moon that was shining over the bay, looking at for any sign of The Lone Wolf, begging for Shouta to come and save you. You shut your eyes tight as the Lieutenant slid his hand up your thigh and under your skirt, not noticing something dropping behind the soldier and yanking him away and knocking him to the ground. “You don’t dare touch my mate.” A deep growling voice spoke. Your eyes shot open to see who had rescued you.
You saw none other than your Pirate Captain, holding his scarf tight around the Lieutenant. Your heart lifted a little when you saw him.
“Y/n, I’ll take care of him. Go now!” He spoke and you ran off, making sure to grab your basket and escape into through the back door of your tavern. With your heart pounding in your chest, you ascended the stairs and entered your apartment. You had shut and locked the door behind you. You sat down on the edge of your bed and stared at the floor trying to calm your heartbeat and breathing. You didn’t notice a figure appearing in your window and knocking at the glass. You jumped and looked up to see what or who it was. You calmed yourself when you saw that it was only your mate perched on the window sill. You walked over to the window and let him inside. He immediately cupped your face with his hands and looked you in the eyes, examining your body for any injuries. “Are you alright, love?
Did he hurt you in any way? Did he touch you in a bad way? Its alright, you can tell me if he did.” He spoke as he looked you in the eyes. You returned the gesture and hugged him, taking in his scent and letting him wrap his arms around you, making you feel safe in his embrace.
The next morning you woke up in your mate’s arms. You rolled over and looked at him. He woke up and smiled when he saw you. “Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well?” He asked.
“I did. Thank you. Did you sleep ok? Do you transform tonight?” You asked him. “I slept fine, my dear. I think I do transform tonight. Do you mind if I stay here tonight?” He asked.
After the lieutenant didn’t get the message the night before, Shouta comes to your tavern clearly in a fit of rage and slams his hands down on the bar. “You are leaving with me this time. It’s not safe for you here anymore. That Lieutenant is pushing his luck and making this island not safe for you. Pack your things we will leave in the morning.” He spoke. You stopped him and pulled him aside to talk. “How can you expect me to just uproot myself and leave on a ship with you? I need to arrange some things. Who would I give the tavern to? People are going to wonder where I’m going and why. I won’t leave just because some lieutenant is being a selfish jerk.” You spoke. Shouta sighed and thought for a moment. “I’ll keep my ship in the cove until the end of the week. I’m going to leave in the night with or without you.” He spoke before leaving the tavern. What you didn’t know was that the Lieutenant had heard the whole thing and creating a devious plan in his mind.
The end of the week came and you had made your mind. You wanted to leave. Escape the King’s guard that littered the island. You had given your tavern to your closest friend and packed your important items before leaving the Tavern to pause and turn back to take in the building. Letting tears fall down your face as all the memories you had here came flooding back, you had to gather all the courage within you to move your feet and head down the road, only the moonlight from the full moon above to light your path.
In the cove, The Lone Wolf and her crew were preparing to set sail for their next adventure. Shouta was pacing his quarters waiting for you to arrive with his first mate sitting with him. “She’s going to come, Captain. Let’s just hope that she isn’t going to get held up by something.” He spoke. “Or someone. That Lieutenant was staring her down as if she were a piece of meat that he was waiting to devour.” Shouta spoke and growled. He burst out of his quarters and walked across the deck and down the gangplank to the dock and up the path to clear his head and check and see if you were close. “Hey, Captain, where are you going?” One of the crew asked.
“I’m taking a walk and seeing if Y/N is even coming. Keep loading the supplies onto the boat. I’ll be back.” He spoke and trudged up the hill. He looked over the crest of the hill and saw you walking up the hill with your pack on your shoulder and a trunk on a makeshift type of cart you had been pulling all this way.
A wave of relief washed over his face when he saw you. he pulled you into his arms and held you close. “I thought you’d never come.” He spoke. “I almost didn’t come myself. But I thought it over and squared away the Tavern and my other belongings that didn’t fit into my sack or my trunk before I came. It came down to spending more than just a few days a month with you. I’d rather spend every moment of every day with you.”
You told him. He pulled away and smiled softly at you. He looked up to see a bayonet and the barrel of a musket staring him right in the eyes. “Move away from her and I won’t shoot you, filthy beast!” The lieutenant spoke.
Shouta pulled you behind him and growled. “She’s, MY mate. You don’t get to take her from me. I don’t care if you’re a part of the King’s Guard. You don’t get to take whomever you please just because you feel like it!” He spoke as his eyes began to glow. You watched as the guard kept his musket raised as Shouta began to transform. You watched in fear as the Lieutenant kept his gun trained on Shouta. “Don’t hurt him please!” You begged. “Why should I? He’s a monster.” The Guard told you. “I don’t care. He will be a better man than you will ever be.” You spoke. this enraged the lieutenant and he charged at you.
He was knocked out of the way by Shouta as he struggled to keep him down. “Go to the ship! Now!” He called to you. You were pulled out of your frozen state and you ran down the hill to the dock where The Lone Wolf was waiting to set sail.
You ran into Shouta’s first mate who caught you by the arms and helped you settle down. “Y/n, calm down. Where’s the Captain?” He asked. “He’s on the hill with the lieutenant. The Lieutenant has a gun and he’s already transformed. I don’t know what to do. The Lieutenant wants me but I’m with Shouta.” You explained. “Alright. Go down into the cargo hold and wait there. I know that’s not the best place you’d like to be right now. It’s the last place where that Lieutenant wouldn’t think to look for you. There is no way that any of us is going to let that scumbag get you.” He spoke and disembarked off the boat to go aid the captain in his struggle against the Lieutenant. You went down into the cargo hold and hid yourself between some barrels and crates, covering your mouth to try and suppress your sobs. You shut your eyes, only wanting to be safe in your mate’s arms, not wanting this to happen. You hated how entitled the King’s Guard was and how they thought they could have whatever they wanted. Your eyes shot open when you heard a gunshot followed by a pained wolf’s howl. Was Shouta injured? Was he even alive now? Your mind swirled with those thoughts as you had to use every ounce of your willpower to keep your body from running out onto the main deck and seeing what had happened to your mate. You glanced over at the stairs leading down into the cargo hold and saw a shadow begin to descend the stairs. You hid back between the barrels, calming your heart, hoping with every fiber of your being that the person entering the cargo hold wasn’t the Lieutenant. You felt something appear above you and you slowly looked up to see the piercing blue eyes of the lieutenant staring down at you.
“There you are. That noisy first mate was easy to break when he saw his Captain bleeding out.” He spoke then lunged at you. You ducked out of his reach and scrambled to your feet, racing to the stairs and onto the main deck, your vision was blurred until you stopped yourself at the port side of the deck and looked over to the dock where you saw the first mate bandaging a part of the captain’s right leg, was it his right leg? You didn’t know you just saw a trail of blood on the deck. Not noticing the Lieutenant coming up behind you. He wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you away from the side of the boat. You screamed which caught the attention the first mate and the captain who tried to stand up with the assistance of his partner. “Get away from her, Dabi!” The voice of the harbormaster sounded. You hadn’t noticed him there before now. You wondered where he had gone and why he only showed up now. The Lieutenant that you now knew was named Dabi only tightened his grip on you. “Now why should I do that? This poor girl has been harassed by that pirate down there and I’m only doing my duty by keeping her safe.” He spoke. You covered your mouth and nose to keep the stench of the rotten and burnt flesh that had been stitched to his normal flesh from penetrating your nostrils. As Dabi and the harbormaster argued back and forth. This gave you an opening. Taking the opportunity, you elbowed him in the gut and broke free from his grasp, running down the gangplank and into the arms of the captain. “Did he hurt you?” He asked as he looked you over. “No, I’m fine.” You reassured him. “Alright. Hizashi, take the others and get that scumbag off my ship. Do whatever you have to.” Shouta ordered. His first mate looked a little surprised and called a couple members of the crew to board the ship again to take down the Lieutenant. You helped Shouta to one of the crates still on the dock and checked his wound. “The bullet still must come out. If we don’t get to a doctor soon, we will have to cut it off before it becomes gangrene.” You spoke. “You speak of such mystery. Are you sure you aren’t a witch?” He asked with a hint of humor in his voice. You looked up at him with concern and kissed him gently. “There was a herbologist on our travels that we found and they gave me a potion that helps nullify the inner wolf when I’m in this state. Maybe we can go back to them to help with the bullet, unless you know how to remove it from my leg.” He spoke, now panting with the amount of pain he was in, trying to keep it from you. “I should know how to remove it.” You spoke before a loud yell came from the ship. You looked over and saw a yellow energy emitting from the first mate. You had to cover your ears from how loud the noise was and you pressed yourself into the captain.
“That’s Hizashi’s power, he can emit a strong noise using his voice. He can be a bit loud at times but his voice can come in handy when giving out orders in a storm.” He explained as he held you close. He stroked your hair when the noise subsided and you removed your hands from your ears. Looking up to the deck, Dabi was no where to be seen. You had a small bit of hope swell from within you as you held Shouta’s hands and stood up to see a couple members of The Lone Wolf’s crew tie up the Lieutenant and look to Shouta. “Put him in the brig and make sure he can’t use his flames.” He ordered. The crew nodded and carried the lieutenant down into the brig. Shouta carefully stood and hobbled with your assistance onto his boat and into his quarters. You laid him on his bed and checked his bandage again. It had soaked through. You began to panic a little as you searched for another form of a bandage, disinfectant, and sterile equipment.
“What do you need, my love?” He asked. “A new bandage, disinfectant, and sterile equipment.” You spoke. Shouta looked at you with confusion and you took a deep breath. “I need a strip of clean cloth, alcohol, something to pull the bullet out of your leg, and something to cauterize the wound.” You explained. Shouta nodded and signaled for someone to come inside for a moment. “Have someone bring some old cotton cloth, some of the clear alcohol we stored the last time we visited Recovery Girl, something to pull this damn bullet out of my leg, and have Hizashi bring Shoto here.” He ordered. The crew member nodded and ran off to find the items he had requested. You stayed by his side, not moving until Hizashi came to the room with Shoto in tow. He had hair with two colors, white on his right side and red on his left. Hizashi also had the items that you had requested in his arms. “What do you need, Captain?” Shoto asked.
“I need you to follow anything that Y/n needs, alright?”
“Yes sir. What do you need me to do?” He asked as he looked at you. “I need to pull out the bullet, clean the wound, and have you cauterize it. Then I will used the cloth to wrap it up.” You told him. He nodded and knelt to Shouta’s leg. “Alright. Shouta, this is going to hurt bad. Do you have something to bite down on?” You asked him. He nodded as Hizashi handed a piece of leather to him. He bit down on the leather and nodded to you. “Now I will pull out the bullet and clean the wound, Shouta, this is going to hurt like hell. Shoto, once I pull out the bullet, I will need you to cauterize the wound quickly as there will be a lot of bleeding. After that I will tie up the wound.” You explained. Shoto nodded and got ready to cauterize the wound. You grabbed the bottle of alcohol and doused the wound. Shouta screaming through the leather and tensing up his body. You hated hurting him but this had to be done so he wouldn’t lose the leg.
At least not tonight. You then used the knife that was brought to you to dig out the bullet. Once the chunk of metal was out of him, Shoto instantly used his flames on the wound, send out another scream from the Captain. You prepped the bandage and told Shoto to stop since the bleeding had also stopped pouring from his leg. You doused his wound with more alcohol before drying it and wrapping the leg with the piece of cloth you were given. You made sure the wrapping was tight before thanking Shoto and sending him out of the cabin as his services were no longer needed. You turned back to Shouta as he was pulling the leather out of his mouth and panting hard from the pain. He looked over to you and reached out for your hand. You let him take it and you bent over to kiss him.
“Thank you for your help, Y/n. I don’t want to ever feel that kind of pain again.” He spoke and kissed you gently. “You’re welcome. I’m glad I could help. We should set sail for that herbologist. Let us hope they know what to do.” You spoke as you stroked his hair. He smiled and pulled you in so he could cuddle you. You had him sit up gently and you sat behind him, having his head lay in your lap. “Can you help me out of my quarters so I may tell my crew that it’s time to set sail?” He asked. You agreed and helped him up and out of his room temporarily so he could give the orders for his crew to set sail and head for some far-off island that you had never heard of. After he gave the orders, you helped him back inside his quarters and into his bed. You stayed close to him as the gentle rocking of the ship on the waves lulled him to sleep.
You watched out the back windows of the ship looking at the hidden cove where The Lone Wolf had been in port slowly grow smaller and smaller, you kept watching well after the island had disappeared out of sight. Hizashi came to check on you soon after. “Y/n. It will be a day or two before we arrive to the herbologist. You should get your rest. You’ll need it.” He told you. You looked at him with tired eyes then looked back at Shouta who was out cold and breathing steadily.
“Alright. Is there a place you’d like for me to sleep?” You asked. “I think the Captain will like having you close and you should keep an eye on his leg just in case it gets swollen with fever.” He spoke with a soft smile. You yawned and laid down next to Shouta, quickly falling asleep, not noticing the first mate laying a blanket over the both of you.
~~~About two days later~~~ You were working about the ship, cleaning bandages of old blood and teaching the crew how to sterilize their equipment and how to make bandages from old sheets and how to clean them. You even taught the crew how to stitch up a wound and cover it properly. You were in the middle of teaching one of the younger members that you had learned that their name was Izuku and he was a friend of Shoto’s when some other members of the crew stood up, facing the Captain’s quarters. You too turned to see Shouta hobbling out on a makeshift crutch that someone had made from a spare piece of wood found in some corner of the ship. “We will be in port soon. Be ready to restock and spend a few days of leave here on the island. I don’t want to hear that any of you get drunk or fool around with one of the working women there, got it? I will be away for the time being so Present Mic will be in charge in my absence, you hear?” He spoke. The crew replied with a hearty “AYE” before heading off to their designated chores about the ship. Shouta walked over and saw what you were doing.
“When you’re done, you need to gather your things and be ready to leave with me when we get in port. You’re coming with me to the herbologist to help with my ‘ailment’.” He spoke in a serious tone. You nodded and finished up what you had been teaching Izuku and Shoto. You entered the Captains quarters and began gathering your things as you had seen the island’s shore grow closer. You felt the ship creak and groan under your feet as the crew prepared her to turn into port and dock at the nearby harbor with the help of the harbor’s crew. You hear the yells and calls of the crew communicating with one another as you grabbed your medical bag, rolls of bandages, and sets of tools that one of the girls down in the galley helped you make from her own power. You had found out that in the few short days that you had been on this ship that everyone in The Lone Wolf’s crew has some kind of supernatural ability. You found this interesting and learned about each power that you could wrap your mind around.
When you had finished collecting your things and fastening the bag, you waiting in the cabin where Shouta came in and smiled at you. “Are you ready, my love?” He asked as he cupped your cheek.
“Yes, Let’s hope that this “herbologist” of yours knows how to save a leg from infection.” You spoke as you kissed him gently. He looked at you confused. “What’s an ‘infection’?” He asked as he followed you out of the cabin.
“Its when bad sickness sets into a wound like the one in your leg.” You spoke as you followed him up to the aft deck where someone who looked to be made from rock was steering the ship. Shouta went to the side of the deck where he could watch over the operations of The Lone Wolf head into port play out.
Once The Lone Wolf had settled and the crew were taking inventory, Shouta led you off the boat with Hizashi right behind you both. You didn’t question this fact as the three of you went through town, going to the outskirts and finding a little hut with an open room attacked to the side where a short woman with a wooden stick through her hair was hobbling around with her cane. Hizashi helped Shouta up the steps and to her door.
“Ooh hello there. It’s been a while since you were last here, Captain Eraserhead. Get yourself settled and lets see what we have to work with here.” The old lady spoke as she went around her infirmary that was well stocked by what you saw. You were impressed by how well her smaller hospital was stocked with the standards of the time that you were in. You entered the room and sat in a chair in the corner as Shouta laid on one of the makeshift cots and put his leg for the medicine woman to see. She came over with some bandages and what looked to be some scissors, and a type of antibiotic ointment and a type of alcohol to clean a wound. She looked to have a bit of trouble handling all the items so you stood up to help her with the bigger bottles. She gave you a smile and set down the other items.
“Thank you, young girl. Who might you be?” She asked. “I’m Y/n. Captain Shouta’s mate and the one that tied up the bullet wound on his leg. Shoto cauterized his wound to help prevent bleeding and I did the rest.” You told her. The woman looked at your handiwork and was impressed. “You did very good for using materials on a ship. But I’m seeing a small bit of infection that has set into the flesh. I will give him an antibiotic and you shall stay here for the time being.” She spoke. “Maybe I can be of assistance. I know my way around an infirmary.” You offered. “That will be nice. As I am older, I cannot move around as easily. Your help will be greatly appreciated.” She spoke. “What is your name I might ask?” You asked her. “You can call me Recovery Girl.” She responded.
“Thank you, Recovery Girl for helping him. Now where go you keep some of your herbs? I can get started on the antibiotic.” You said as you got up and went into the storage area where there were many jars and containers of herbs and spices. “In the pantry. Look for the garlic, turmeric, honey, and onion. It sounds like an awful blend but it will draw out that infection like a mosquito draws out blood.” She explained as she prepared to inspect his wound. You dug around the cabinets until you found all the right herbs and set them on the counter. “How do you want me to prepare it?” You asked. “Cut up the garlic and onions and mix them into the honey along with the turmeric until its like a paste. Then bring it over here and I’ll apply it to the wound.” She instructed. You did as you were told and brought the salve over to her. She had you take the rest of the bandage off his leg and she showed you how to apply the salve to his leg. Shouta winced as the nutrients of the salve began to seep into his flesh and kill off any remaining infection that might have snuck in past the cauterization. Recovery girl brought you more clean bandages to wrap up the wound again when the salve had been applied. You wrapped up his leg gently then kissed him on the head. You took the soiled bandages and asked where you might be able to clean them. The older lady took you to a gentle river where she would do her laundry and clean any soiled linens she might have from her patients.
You were scrubbing the dried-on blood out of the fabric when Recovery Girl sat down next to you on a rock. “Where did you learn how to heal?” She asked, trying to make conversation. “I mostly taught myself. With there being fights on the island between the Redcoats and the locals or the pirates that come into my tavern, you tend to learn a thing or two.” You spoke as you wrung out the bandage and hung it over the line that the healer had in her yard so it could dry. You then looked into the infirmary and saw that Shouta was sitting up and Hizashi was bringing him a drink of water. “I want to tell you this before I tell the Captain. The salve will take out some of the infection but not all of it. You did a good job by cauterizing the wound but there was something in the bullet that is causing more harm than good to him. His leg will have to be cut off to prevent whatever is causing him harm from spreading further. He looks sicker than what he’s allowing to show. He doesn’t want to scare you, dear.” She spoke. You looked a little shocked.
“Can’t we find out what’s making him sick instead of taking his leg? You were the one that gave him the potion that tames his wolf side. Aren’t werewolves allergic to silver?” You asked. As you looked at your mate and noticed how pale he looked. Paler than he normally did. His dark eyes dart up to meet yours and you looked away. “Yes. Werewolves are allergic to silver. I’ve seen the creatures be shot down by a silver bullet. If our speculations are correct, the bullet he was shot with was made out of silver. Do you still have the bullet, my dear?” Recovery Girl asked. Your hand went into one of your apron pockets and pulled out the bloodied bullet and showed her. “Grab one of the lemons off of the shelf, dear and use it’s juice on the bullet. If the juice turned a shade of dark red, its pure silver. If its brown or green then its only covered in silver.” Recovery Girl instructed as you grabbed a lemon and cut it in half. You then squeezed the juice over the bullet and watched as it bubbled and foamed. Your heart sank as the foam turned a sickly shade of dark red. “Cut his leg off. the bullet is silver.” You spoke. Hizashi heard what you had said and entered the storage and preparation part of the infirmary that you and Recovery Girl were in. “What do you mean ‘cut my leg off?’ Why does my leg have to be cut off?” Shouta asked. “There is no time to explain. Where is a sedative and your surgical tools, Recovery Girl?” You asked as you headed to another part of the pantry. Recovery Girl pointed out where the items were and you gathered them. Hizashi followed you, repeating the Captain’s question. “Dabi used a silver bullet and if we don’t cut his leg off, Shouta will die. I need you to hold him down and administer the sedative to him.” You explained and handed him a cloth and a bottle that had the label ‘chloroform.’ “This will knock him out so we can remove the poisoned part of his leg and bandage it up and let it heal. We can hopefully find him a replacement down in the town.” You explained as you began to boil some water to sterilize the knife and saw that would be used to cut the leg off.
“If I remember right, there is a wood worker in the town that should be able to make a new leg for me to use.” Shouta spoke. “We will figure that out later. For now, you need to be knocked out. Unless you want to feel the pain of the knife and saw cutting through your flesh and bone.” You told him as you sterilized the bone saw. “I think a nap would be a good idea.” He spoke. Hizashi then administered the chloroform and within a matter of minutes, Shouta was out cold. “You might want to take a walk as this will take a while and it will be unsightly.” You advised the first mate. He nodded and left the infirmary, taking a walk through the woods as you made the first incision.
~~~A few hours later~~~
You were stitching up the last of the wound when Shouta began to come out of the anesthesia. You numbed the area and watched as he woke up slowly. It was about this time that Hizashi came back from his walk, having found a wood worker in town that would be willing make a prosthetic for Shouta.
You prepared a glass of water and some bread for Shouta to eat when he was fully out of the drug. You heard him grumble and try to sit up quickly.
“Sit up slowly. You’re coming out of the anesthesia. I have some bread and water for you if you’re hungry.” You told him. He nodded and looked at you then where his leg was. That’s when it hit him. His eyes grew wide and he ran his hands down his leg and he felt where the stitches were and stared at the place where the rest of his leg was. “It feels like the rest of my leg should be there but it isn’t. Am I crazy?” He spoke.
“No. That’s normal. I’ve read that some of the doctors back in England are calling what you’re feeling “Phantom sensation.” There be some itching or tickling feeling which is normal as well. I advise that you don’t scratch where the stiches are as that can cause them to come undone. I must wrap them up with some bandages but I thought I’d see how you’re doing.” You told him. He nodded and sat up slowly. You handed him the cup of water which he took and sipped at it before setting the cup down and laying back down.
“I’m doing alright. Thank you for asking.” He spoke as you wrapped a clean strip of cloth around his leg.
“There you go. Now if you don’t need anything else. I’ll go clean out some of the used bandages.” You spoke, standing to leave. “Y/n. Stay for a moment, please. I want to talk to you since we haven’t in a while.” He requested. You sat back down next to him and let him hold your hand. “What did you want to talk about?” You asked as you looked back at him, staring into his eyes. “I want to know why you’ve been so distant since I lost my leg. Is it because you don’t want to be my mate anymore?” He asked. You looked surprised and shook your head. “No, its not that. I’ve been processing the past few weeks, that’s all. Its hard to find a place for quiet on the ship so I can think and process all that happened. The action of the Lieutenant… Dabi… whoever he is grabbing hold of me and pointing a musket at you, still has me waking up at night in a cold sweat.” You told him. He kissed your temple and pulled you a little closer.
“He will never touch you again. We can sail on the seas for eternity.” He spoke and hugged you gently. You cuddled into his chest and took in his scent which still smelled like the salty sea and freshly brewed coffee. That is when you broke down sobbing, clinging to his shirt and not wanting to let go. “Y/n, what’s wrong? Why are you crying now?” He asked as he made you look up at him. “All of the stress that I’ve been through, not seeing you for a full month, the lieutenant pinning me in the alleyway before you saved me, him holding me hostage as he held you at gunpoint, having to remove your leg. Its all been too much and I’ve had to keep my emotions to myself as I didn’t want to worry you or Hizashi or Recovery Girl.” You explained. “Don’t worry about that now. I’m still here. Not all of me is here but I think the important parts are still here, my love. I’m not going anywhere for a while. Its my turn to care for you while we are here, okay? Right now I just want for you just let it all out, okay?” He told you. You nodded and cried more, letting your body shake with sobs as tears streamed down your face. Shouta rubbed your back and reassured you that everything would be fine. He even told you that Hizashi had gone into the town to find someone that would make a wooden prosthetic leg for him. It was just a matter of transporting him to the prosthetic maker in the town so he could take his measurements. This made you relax a bit and stop crying so he could wipe the tears from your eyes. You mentioned that the chef in the ship’s galley could carry him to the prosthetist. He didn’t like the idea at first but he eventually warmed up to the idea. You called Hizashi over to send a message for the chef to come up and help the captain out. The first mate was in the process of having a meal with the healer so things would have to wait until they were done eating.
Once the meal had been eaten, Hizashi ran quickly to The Lone Wolf to inform the chef of the situation and have him come up to the healer’s hut to carry the captain down to the town. Soon, you, the captain, and the first mate were all in the prosthetist’s clinic. You were looking at all the examples of the different kinds of artificial limbs there were. You didn’t know that there would be so many or even if something like this was available to Shouta at this time. You had read about pirates sporting a wooden peg leg in fantasy stories that you read as a child but you knew that Shouta wouldn’t go for the traditional prosthetic that other pirates had. He would want a leg that would resemble one closer to the leg that he lost. You kept looking around the clinic as the doctor got Shouta’s measurements and told him that the making of the leg would be about a week or so and he asked if Shouta’s ship would be able to stay in port for that time. He agreed and would let his crew know that they would be staying in the area for a while longer and that they would be able to have some shore time while they were stuck in port. There was a hospital in the town that The Lone Wolf’s crew would be able to stay at or they would be able to stay on the ship if they wished. With that, the Chef assisted the captain to the nearby hotel where he would be staying with you in one room and his first mate would be going back to the ship to deliver the news and stay on the ship there. The chef was happy to be able to try out the different delicacies of the area and possibly try some of the foods out on the crew to see if they liked them. Once you and the Captain were settled in a room in the hotel, the Chef left to investigate any of the local vendors and the local market for any exotic foods that he’d like to try. You were glad to finally be alone with your mate as you had felt your core waken after you had wrapped up his leg back at the Healer’s hut.
Shouta’s dark eyes looked over to you as you laid yourself out on the bed and groaned in relief.
“Are you alright love?” You heard him ask. “Yes. I’m alright.” You responded. “Your scent says otherwise.” He told you as he propped himself up with one of his elbows. You glanced over at him and he gave you one of his alluring smiles that you knew had made other ladies swoon. You felt your face heat up and you hid your face in your pillow.
“I can tell you’re in heat, my love. I am here to help you if you want me to.” He offered. You relaxed and sat up slowly. “I wouldn’t mind. Its been a month since we shared a bed together and you claimed me as your own. I noticed the other day that the marks had been fading.” You told him. His eyes met yours and he nodded. “Alright. What do you need help with?” He asked. You looked around the room. “All I know is that my core is aching and I want the pain of the ache to go away.” You responded. He held your hand and pulled you closer to him. “I’ll help you with that stubborn ache of yours. Just lay down and let me repay you for all the care you’ve given me these past few weeks, my love.” He told you and helped guide you to lay back down on the bed.
He kissed your neck gently and bit down where the mark was faded and made it new again. He then cared for you and your heat, sliding into you and thrusting back and forth, in and out, over and over, hitting that one spot that made you see stars until the both of you came and fell limp against each other, catching your breath before beginning the next round of intimate love making.
When the week had passed, Shouta had been alerted as to his prosthetic leg being finished and being called in to have the leg fitted to him and have him learn how to walk with it. The Prosthetist attached the leg to his appendage and helped him stand to his feet. He wobbled for a bit and cursed under his breath as he had to hold onto the wall for a while to adjust to the usage of the leg. The Prosthetist suggested that he use a type of cane so he could walk on the decks of the ship with ease and showed him a few samples of canes that he sold within his shop. The captain picked one out and paid for the leg and the cane, thanking the man and walking out of the shop on his own for the first time in a while. He walked to the ship and boarded the vessel, now addressing his crew as they all had surrounded him when he came aboard. They welcomed him back and asked him questions about the leg and how it felt. He reassured him that he was still fit to be their captain even though he had to have assistance from a cane. He stood proud in front of his crew, with you next to him, beginning to give out orders to get the ship on way to the next place and to the next adventure.
The End.

Pairing: Bakugou x reader Genre: Smut, 18+, Mafia AU Trope: Woke up married Dialogue Prompt: “Aren’t we supposed to be working?” Warnings: overdosing on cold medicine, mixing cold medicine with alcohol, dub-con, mentions of sex while unconscious, vomiting Word Count: 4,480
This is my contribution to this month’s bnharem collab. I was so happy when I spun the roulette wheel and it landed on my favorite au, the mafia au. I hope you all enjoy and make sure to check out everyone else’s contributions here. Also a big thanks to @doinmybesthere for being my beta reader and putting so much work into creating the master list for this collab.
“A fever? Are you fucking kidding me?”
You winced at the voice coming out of your phone. You were curled up in bed, a heavy futon draped over your achey, chilled body. “I’m really sorry,” you croaked into the receiver. “I can’t get out of bed; there’s no way I’ll be able to come into work today.”
“You know how important tonight’s meeting is.”
You could feel the fire in the eyes of your underboss as he spat at you about how important tonight’s festivities were. You couldn’t care less. You hated the guy, but more importantly you hated your father for getting you in this mess.
A debt needed to be paid and your family couldn’t afford to take out a second mortgage on the house. So your father, as smart as he thought he was, went to the nicest restaurant on the far side of town where the boss of one of the most dangerous mobs in the city stationed his office.
A debt for a debt. That’s what he told you as he came home smiling with a big check in his wallet. No one in your family knew where he got the money, but he seemed confident enough that he’d be able to pay it back.
A month went by and one day, three scary men knocked on your apartment door. They said they were there to “collect”.
You were terrified. You thought they were there to rob you, to take the money you had been saving in a rainy-day fund. But no, they came to collect you. Now, it’s been four months and you’re still stuck doing odd jobs for them--grocery and coffee runs as well as spending reports and other money related things you are less than qualified to do.
You hate your job. You hate having to put up with the unorthodox hours and the unsavory jobs and the complaints about your work ethic and the having to do it over again because you didn’t do it right the first time. You want out. If you weren’t positive that if you left they would be able to hunt you down, you would have fled the country by now.
But your father’s debt still hasn’t been paid.
“Look,” you pleaded. “I can come in tomorrow and work double my usual time. Please, Kirishima-san, I just need the day to rest.”
“Not a chance. You’re coming in today and that’s final. If you don’t, well, then maybe we need to take an extra payment from your parents.”
Before you could even process what he just said, he hung up the phone.
Another payment from your parents. You couldn’t possibly let them take any more from your family. With a new threat looming over your head, you mustered up enough strength to push off of your futon and get dressed for the clients’ dinner.
By the time it was 7:00 in the evening, you had taken a large swig of cold medicine and were ready to spend the night serving these criminals.
Outside of the restaurant, two bodyguards were stationed at the front door and one at the back entrance. All three of them were dressed in black from head to toe. You, on the other hand, were tasked with serving your boss’s clients, so your outfit differed from theirs.
You were dressed in attire suited for waiting tables. Black slacks stretch across your legs and your pristine shirt was smoothed against your body. A tight black vest clung to your chest and pressed against your boobs, squishing them together. If it weren’t for the fever, chills, and headache, you would look like you belonged with this crowd of criminals.
You flashed your ID to the guard at the back door and he nodded you in. Your eyes had to adjust to the fluorescent kitchen lighting, but once they did you saw how busy everyone was. It truly was one of the most important nights for your boss, so you understood why you were needed. Still, this night would truly take the most out of you.
“Oi, (L/n),” one of your boss’s associates called for you. “Take these to table four. I’ve been covering your ass for the last twenty minutes.”
“Of course, Kaminari-san.” You bowed your head and skirted over to the table where two well-dressed men spoke with one another in a hushed tone. You placed their meals in front of them and bowed your head.
“Wait,” one of them called as you began to walk away. “I asked for a Jasmine tea. This is Sencha.”
“Yeah,” the other one piped up. “And I asked for a Sencha tea and this is Jasmine.”
You wanted to scream. You wanted to yell into the abyss and slap those men across the face. But of course all you did was bow in apology and take the cups back. Kirishima’s words to you over the phone rang loud and clear in your mind.
“Anything they need, you get it for them. These are important people the boss works with and we can’t have idiots like you messing this up for us.”
The men smirked at you and as you turned around to grab their “correct orders,” the man who ordered the Jasmine tea leaned over to leave a hard, painful smack across your ass.
You froze but didn’t say anything and walked away.
It was still early in the night but you had run yourself thin. You needed to sit down or to at least take a sip of water, but there was no room for breaks as you bounced from table to table getting the people what they wanted. You had even left the venue a couple times to retrieve items like the proper creamer one client required in their coffee.
Your throat was so sore and dry and it was aching for a break. Your entire body was aching for a break. But as you saw someone sitting at one of the tables raise her hand to wave you over, you had to put all of your aches aside to tend to her needs.
“Good evening, ma’am.” You bowed your head. “How may I assist you?”
A small smile was on her dark red painted lips. She seemed to be searching for something as she eyed you up and down. “Do you happen to know when Bakugou-san will be joining us?”
Bakugou-san… Were you supposed to know who that is? You had never heard the name before, although you knew your boss had many ties throughout the district. It could be one of them.
“I’m not sure,” you answered honestly. “I could ask my supervisors if they happen to know.”
She waited a moment. She seemed to be searching for something in your expression. “That’s all right. You may go back to work now.”
You bowed and thanked her.
Bakugou-san.
The name did sound familiar, but you’re not sure where you could have heard it. It wasn’t until you were deep in thought, trying to recall where you had heard the name, that you could feel something pushing up against your throat. Oh god. Your stomach was churning.
You ran to the bathroom, pushing someone out of the way to get there. You’d probably hear an earful from Kirishima for pushing a guest, but you needed to find a toilet before--
Oh no.
You barely made it into the stall before emptying the contents of your stomach onto the white tiles of the bathroom floor. Your legs collapsed from under you and you kneeled in your vomit as you coughed up your stomach lining into the porcelain bowl.
Tears fell from your eyes as you struggled to breathe while hacking everything you had into the toilet. The black eyeliner you threw on before leaving the house had smudged into raccoon eyes around your lashes.
You rested your cheek against the toilet, ignoring all of the germs that were most likely crawling up your skin and into your pores. The toilet seat felt cool against your burning cheek and watering eyes. You thought you could die happily here, kneeling on the bathroom tiles in a pile of your slowly cooling vomit.
“Aren’t we supposed to be working here?”
Your eyes shot open, and in trying to stand up you slipped. Your ass landed in the smeared vomit. You winced and let out a drawn out, “fuuuck.”
It took you a moment before opening your eyes again and looking up at the man in front of you. And boy did your eyes widen. He was clearly a guest at the clients’ dinner. His blonde hair was slicked back and the bulge of his muscles under his crisp black button down didn’t go unnoticed by you. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing his forearms and as he crossed his arms over his chest, his sleeves began to tighten.
“Who the hell are you and why are you puking on the floor?”
It took you a second to find your voice. “I’m, um...” you trailed off. “(L/n), sir.” You cleared your throat. “I am a worker for the person hosting this dinner.” You tried to stand up and bow, but he put a hand up to stop you.
“You work for them.” It was a statement not a question, but you nodded anyway. “Why? What do you owe?”
You’re not sure why he was asking, but his intimidating glare compelled you to answer his every question. “My dad owes them money,” you admitted. “And he wasn’t able to pay them back.”
“Who do you mean by them?”
You weren’t sure how to answer. You didn’t even know what these people did. For all you knew they were drug mules or assassins. You never wanted to know what they did when you were roped in. After all, the less you knew meant you could have more of a normal life. “The boss,” you finally answered. Who the boss was, you weren’t sure. You answered to Kirishima but he didn’t have much power aside from ordering around you and every other person unfortunate enough to be roped into working for them.
The man in front of you scoffed. “Get up.”
You scrambled to your feet, ignoring the wave of nausea that hit you. The man led you out of the bathroom, and as you walked behind him, people who passed the two of you stopped and stared. Oh no, it had to be from the vomit stains on your leg and down your shirt. You probably stank to high hell and your eyes wouldn’t stop watering from your fever.
The man stopped and you had to keep from bumping into him. “There’s an extra work shirt in the closet,” he said. “There should also be some slacks in there. Leave your dirty clothes in a pile and I’ll have someone collect them.”
His voice was demanding and it took you a moment to register what he said. It wasn’t until he snapped in your face that you moved.
“We don’t have all day, princess.”
You flinched and nodded before scurrying into the closet and flicking the light on. Inside the closet was the restaurant’s sad excuse for a boiler room. The low humming from the machinery brought you back into the present as you searched for the change of clothes you were promised.
There was a crisp white shirt folded on one of the shelves as well as a few different slacks in varying sizes. The shirt was a size too small, so you had to leave the first couple buttons popped open. Before leaving the closet, you tried to think about who the man was and why he was helping you. Was it possible that he wanted something in return?
When you emerged from the closet, he looked you up and down. You were too tired, however, to notice his lingering glare on your chest and the way the button down squeezed your breasts closer together.
“Thank you,” you mumbled, looking down at your shoes. You’re not sure why you were too scared to look into his vermillion eyes, but the way he called you princess earlier as he snapped at you had definitely made you tremble in your core, and you swore that if you looked up to meet his eyes, your fever would only go higher and higher.
“Why the hell’d you come here if you were sick anyway? Are you trying to poison everyone in the damn building?” His words were like little bullets that shot at every one of your doubts of coming in tonight.
You thought back to why you had come in the first place. You were huddled up in your futon that morning when Kirishima called. You begged to stay home, right? But you couldn’t. You squinted hard as you tried to remember why you weren’t allowed to rest. “I was threatened,” you thought out loud. It wasn’t directed towards the man but he nodded in any case.
“(L/n) was it, right?”
You finally managed to look up at him with bleary eyes. “Yeah, um...” You couldn’t seem to remember what his name was. Wait, he hadn’t told you. He had just led you around and given you new clothes, but he never properly introduced himself.
“Bakugou Katsuki,” he said as if he could read your mind. His lips turned up into a smirk. “But call me Katsuki.”
“Katsuki,” you mumbled. “Bakugou Katsuki.” You had heard that name before, but where. “Bakugou,” you mumbled again as if you were trying to put the pieces of a puzzle together. “Bakugou-san.”
He quirked an eyebrow up at you.
“Oh!” It hit you like a ton of bricks and as soon as you shot up, you had to recoil because of the ache in the back of your neck. “There’s a woman looking for you, Bakugou-san, er, Katuki,” you bowed.
He just chuckled. “There’s a lot of people looking for me tonight. Who was it?”
That’s a good question. You squinted as if you were looking deep into your memories to remember who it was who asked for him. “She was a woman,” you remembered. “With long dark hair and dark red lips.”
Katsuki nodded. “I see the Yaoyorozus are here.”
The Yaoyorozus. You weren’t sure what that could mean but you didn’t feel like questioning it, so you nodded instead.
Katsuki was looking down at you. His arms were crossed over his chest but a smirk that had been playing across his face all night wouldn’t seem to go away. “Feeling better?”
You didn’t feel better. Although you felt cleaner in the new clothes, there was still a throbbing in your head that wasn’t going away and the overhead lights made your eyes water. But the way that Katsuki looked at you like he was expecting you to say yes just drew you in.
He could tell that the way you nodded a yes in response to his question was a lie, and his face fell before pushing a hand up to your forehead, checking your temperature. “Have you taken anything today?”
You had to think back to earlier that day when you brought the bottle of cold medicine up to your lips, not even reading the recommended dose before downing what you could and leaving your home. “Yeah, um, I took some medicine.”
The grin that had been spread across Katsuki’s face returned. “Well I guess we’ll have to get you some more.”
He grabbed your wrist and led you through the halls and over to the bar. You didn’t pay attention to where you were going. The world seemed to be going too fast for you to keep up. What you were able to notice was that everyone’s eyes were on you as you gently swayed back and forth, trying to settle yourself down. As you were in your own head, you couldn’t start to picture what everyone else saw when they looked at you. You with your raccoon eyes due to streaky makeup that you couldn’t stop rubbing.
“Here.” Katsuki shoved a glass in your face. “Not necessarily traditional medicine but it’ll get the job done.”
You looked up at the whiskey glass in his hand. The ‘medicine’ was a deep brown color which swirled around as he handed it to you. Your fingers brushed against his thick ones as you took the glass. You lifted it up to your nose and took a deep breath in, gagging at the smell. “Um, I don’t think I should.” You had been warned about mixing alcohol with drugs and the dangers that came with it, but no one had ever told you not to mix drinks with cold medicine. Still, that couldn’t be right, right?
“Come on, it’s good for you,” he egged you on. “Besides, it’ll get that nasty taste out of your mouth.”
You had never tried whiskey before. You were used to lighter drinks, something bubbly with a shot of vodka or two in it. But this was almost too much. You lifted the glass up to your lips and tilted it back. Your lips stung as they made contact with the drink, but you didn’t want to seem weak to Katsuki. He’d taken care of you so far and seemed pleasant enough, albeit intimidating.
As you tipped it back further and took more of the drink into your mouth, Katsuki pushed his hand against the bottom of the glass so you couldn’t tear it away, making sure you would drink every last drop. It stung going down and the cubes pressing against your lip were colder than you expected. You gagged as a couple loose tears rolled down your face from the drink’s burning sensation. You bet you looked even more of a mess now.
“Good girl,” Katsuki said with a low demeanor. With his thumb, he wiped away a drop of whiskey that rolled down your chin.
“And this’ll make me feel better?” You didn’t think you were supposed to drink when you were sick, but you were far too tired to even think about what was wrong and what was right. If he said that it’d make you feel better, then that had to be a good thing. You’re sure of it.
“Sure will.” He placed a firm, calloused hand on your head and stroked down your hair. You nuzzled into his warmth.
It was such a nice sensation that it almost made you forget that you were supposed to be working. That there were people waiting on you to bring them their food and fetch their creamer, people who were ready to slap your ass and laugh as soon as you turned away.
“I have a,” you started, not really sure where that sentence was going. “I have to go back to work.”
As you began walking away, Katsuki stopped you, pulling you back over so your face was practically pressed up against his chest. “No you don’t. You’re sick, remember?”
Right, as if you hadn’t forgotten. But he was right. You were sick and your medicine hadn’t kicked in yet. You couldn’t risk spreading your germs and getting anyone else sick.
You watched the dinner guests from afar. You leaned in to hear conversations about hitmen and other rivaling mobs around town. Some were about money laundering and clients that needed to be taken out, whatever that meant.
At one point, someone asked to pull Katsuki aside and talk alone, but instead he just pulled you closer.
“The hell do you want, Yoarashi?”
Yoarashi was a big guy, bigger than Katsuki, but it was clear even to you that he was intimidated by the blonde in front of him.
“You owe me for what I let you borrow last month.”
“I don’t owe you shit.”
To you, they sounded like they were underwater and you weren’t sure what they were discussing, but you were curious to learn more.
“Come on, Bakugou. Work with me here.”
“I’m a busy man, Yoarashi. Now get out of my face before I have my men take care of you.”
Something about the raw power and the threatening tone behind Katsuki’s voice made you excited. You wanted to melt into his words, but you weren’t sure why.
“Busy man?” Yoarashi scoffed. “Come on, Bakugou. You’ve barely been seen all night. Where have you been, fucking this little lackey of yours?”
He didn’t mean you, did he? Before you could even comprehend what he just insinuated, Katsuki turned you around and pressed your face up against his chest. You could feel yourself growing even hotter as you were pushed into one of his pectorals. One of his hands cupped the back of your head. Was he protecting you?
“Listen here,” you heard him say. “Don’t contact us ever again unless you want to end up like your first boss did. I can make your life a living hell and I will, got that?”
“Don’t think I don’t have other contacts, all right? You aren’t the only one in this town with resources, Bakugou.”
You felt something jab into the other side of Katsuki’s chest. Did Yoarashi hit him? A few seconds went by before you heard the snapping of fingers and two men came over to drag Yoarashi away.
Katsuki released the hold he had on you, and you watched as the tall man struggled out of his hold. “You aren’t gonna tell anyone what you saw here tonight, right princess?”
You shook your head. You weren’t sure what exactly you felt when you saw that man being dragged away. You were scared, of course; scared for your own life and of the raw power that Katsuki seemed to hold. But on top of fear there was something else. There was a tingle between your thighs that wouldn’t seem to go away, and there was also a sense of excitement. Out of all the people here, this man was paying attention to you. You were far from Mafia material, but he clearly saw something in you and you wanted more of his gaze lingering on you.
Your mind felt hazy with Katsuki and you wanted even more. You didn’t know what to do when you felt him smooth his hand down your back. You didn’t know what to do when his usual smirk turned into something much more dangerous. And you didn’t know what to do when he leaned over and pressed his lips against your own.
His lips felt heavenly as they explored you. They were soft and welcoming despite his cold and dangerous exterior. His tongue probed its way into your mouth. He tasted like whiskey and something else which you assumed was just him. He bit your lip and it felt like he smiled when you let out a moan.
When he released, you felt as if the whole world was spinning with Katsuki. You wobbled around a bit and he chuckled. You tried asking if you could sit down, but the words refused to come out. The last thing you remember is seeing the world go black, the sound of the clients’ dinner fading out of earshot, and two strong arms carrying you away from reality.
You were in pain by the time you woke up. Your body, especially your head, ached tremendously and you wished the sun would stop shining so bright through your window. But wait, the window in your bedroom at your apartment faced another building. The sun never shined too bright in the morning when you were at home.
Slowly, you peaked your head out from under the covers and looked around. You weren’t in your bedroom, but you were in a bedroom. The bed you had been asleep in was enormous, but aside from that there was not much else furniture in the room or even any pictures to signify who the room could belong to.
It wasn’t until you sat up that you realized just how exposed you were under the covers. You couldn’t find your clothing anywhere. What were you even wearing last night? Where were you last night?
You remembered being sick and being called into work by Kirishima. You were stressed. You were nauseous. There was a beautiful woman who asked for someone in particular but you were too sick to remember what their name was, right?
And then you raced to the bathroom and met--
A groan from beside you shook you out of your thoughts, and as soon as you saw the person lying in bed next to you, all of your memories came flooding back.
“Morning, baby girl,” Katsuki said.
You didn’t know what to say. Your mouth hung open and you felt lightheaded.
Katsuki was shirtless under the covers and you were too scared to ask if he had anything on covering his lower half. “You put on quite the show last night.”
Last night. Where you met him. What did you do last night? “I...” You didn’t know what to say, and that made Katsuki let out a booming laugh.
“Come on, you remember at least a little of it don’t you?”
You shook your head. Then you shook your head again. You couldn’t stop shaking your head.
Katsuki put a hand on your shoulder and you stopped. He had a shit eating grin spread across his face that you wanted to both punch and kiss at the same time. “First throwing up at my party and then getting blackout drunk in front of all my guests.”
“What?” You could barely remember anything. What did he mean ‘his party’? The clients’ dinner was run by…
Your eyes widened as you realized just who you had found yourself naked in bed with. Who had found you puking on the bathroom floor. Who that stunningly gorgeous woman was asking for earlier.
You clamped a hand over your mouth and Katsuki let out another chuckle. “You really were the life of the party.” He grabbed your wrist and dragged you over to his side of the bed, and you let him. He dragged his hand up and down your exposed body and roughly cupped your sex. “I had a blast toying around with you last night, but now I want you to be able to remember what it feels like when I bury my cock inside of you, sweetheart.”
You hated the way he was grabbing you and the way he forced your legs to open up for him, but what you hated more than any of that was the way his words made your inner thighs ache and how they instinctively parted just for him.
You turned away as he leaned down to smother your chest with rough kisses, and as you looked over to your left hand, you couldn’t help but notice a diamond ring that wasn’t there the night before.

white christmas // s. todoroki
A/N: this is my secret santa for the bnharem server! i was able to write for the lovely @burnedbyshoto! they had some great ideas and i took one and ran with it. hope you enjoy <3
CHARACTER PAIRING: Shouto Todoroki x F!Reader
WORD COUNT: 2650
WARNINGS: fighting, blood, oral (m!receiving), sorta nasty sex, lots of bodily fluids
SYNOPSIS: Christmas is supposed to be a magical time of the year but for some, it turns into disaster.
“shit.”
that was the only word you could repeat in your head over and over again as you slunk through the streets in the shadows, careful to keep your com snug in your ear so you could be prepared to jump in where it was needed. a huge heist broke out in one of the busiest parts of the city on Christmas Eve no less. while many families spent their time with their loved ones, baking cookies, listening to cheerful Christmas music, dancing in the multicolored glow of tree lights, you were banged up and bruised and not in a fun way.
the coms crackled and you struggled to listen, slowing your breathing and pressing the slim tech piece close to your ear. in your deep focus, you didn’t realize that the voice in your ear was warning you to move out of your position immediately and once you finally did, it was too late.
a searing blast hit you from the left, slamming you into the concrete wall and knocking the breath out of you. your ears rang as they struggled to focus on what had just happened and your eyes blinked harshly against the smoke. coughing, you slowly began to sit up, attempting to stop your head from spinning, teeth clenched as you covered your mouth to filter out the dust in the air. you had barely just regained enough strength to get up when a hand reached out to steady you, pulling you up by the armpits and straight into their arms.
“Sho-?” you questioned, finally piecing together who was holding you in a death grip against them.
“are you alright?” he finally asked, pulling you back by your shoulders to look your face over. when his eyes flickered over your state with a grimace, you knew you probably weren’t okay.
“i’ll be fine. just got the wind knocked out of me. give me a few more moments and we can head back into the thick of it.”
“you’re not heading anywhere except out of here,” he said decisively, picking you up like you were nothing and heading out of the debris quickly, eyes peeled for any potential villains still around.
you had almost just made it when he quickly dropped you back onto your feet, your hands flailing to catch ahold of his shoulders before you fell. he didn’t need to tell you to stay close. you two knew how to work together in even the worst of situations, a well-oiled machine after years of saving each other's lives and tonight was no different.
“i’ll be fine. let’s just kick some ass and get out of here,” you reassured before spinning around and planting your feet, your back pressed against his as you watched seven assailants circle you with hungry, predatory eyes.
Shouto made the first move, sending a sheet of ice towards the weakest looking link, trapping him effectively before he even had a chance to register what was going on. the other six looked on with weary curiosity before they all charged at once.
you immediately took hold of the ice that Shouto left behind, liquifying it to whip one assailant against a wall, knocking him out cold and drenching him in freezing water. unfortunately, it seemed as if the other five actually knew how to work together as a team, moving in close so that you were at the disadvantage.
while Shouto attempted to keep most of them from moving in by using both his fire and ice, you began picking them off. the first one to slip past had little control over his quirk. he sent strange objects flying towards you but you were able to trap them in your water, hearing a satisfying thud as you whipped one back towards his head. he dropped to the ground, dead weight to his teammates now, and you turned around to find that Shouto had trapped another goon in his ice.
just three more to go.
the next one came at you so fast you didn’t have time to use your quirk. instead, as charged you with unbridled rage, you dodged, sending your fist straight up into his gut, hearing him choke and splutter behind you. his own fist came back to whip you across the head, sending shooting pain up your skull, but you just turned around to grab his shoulder with your right hand, spinning him towards you and sending your left fist flying into his face. your knee came to his stomach once more and with a thud, you headbutted him, watching as he reeled back, clutching his head. you then used the water that had gathered on the ground to slam him against the wall.
when you were able to catch your breath, you looked up to see Shouto, exhausted but alive as the last two assailants laid on the ground beneath his feet. your relief was cut short, however, when an eighth person slipped out from the shadows, striding quickly up to your lover. he quickly sent a burst of ice towards the final villain but it crumbled midair, shattered pieces scattering the ground. the man was upon Shouto before either of you could even comprehend and with one quick grasp, the villain had the battered Todoroki shrieking in pain, clutching his head and falling to the ground, blood pouring from his nose.
your own blood was pounding as you rushed the villain, not giving a second thought to what would happen to you. all you saw was the one man you loved more than anything in this world dying and you would do anything to save him. the assailant dropped Todoroki’s head and rushed towards you, dodging your fist and water whip with practiced ease, grabbing onto your head.
suddenly, you could understand why your partner was screaming so loudly. the pain was unbearable, like hot white lava coursing through your veins. immediately, you began choking on your own blood, coughing it up and trying to breathe in between spurts. you wanted to give up, to do anything to get rid of this pain that was tearing you from the inside but then you saw Shouto, crawling towards you with determination in his face, refusing to give up because he couldn’t lose you, not yet, not ever.
with his tear streaked cheeks in your vision, you managed to calm your brain enough to retaliate. you didn’t want to do this, didn’t like killing, but you would for him, would do anything to keep him alive, even at the cost of your humanity. with one shaky yet undaunted hand, you clasped the criminal’s arm, squeezing tightly. you could feel the blood pulsing underneath his skin, could feel how the veins connected throughout his body, and with your own head threatening to burst, you screamed, rupturing the blood vessels and veins in his head, his neck, anywhere you could think of. you didn’t care how he died, you just wanted to be safe, for Shouto to be safe, to selfishly live another day at the cost of someone else.
when the villain dropped to his knees, his hand released from your head and you could instantly breathe again. blood still trickled from your nose, ears and mouth but you could begin regaining some semblance of normalcy again. a warm hand grabbed your own and you flinched, relaxing once you realized Shouto had managed to stumble his way towards you. tears began spilling out of your eyes before you could stop yourself, hugging onto your lover like your life depended on it, which, in this moment, it almost did.
“i thought i lost you,” you sobbed into his chest, clutching onto him tight, breathing in his sweet scent mixed with ash and blood. “i thought you were going to die. i didn’t care what needed to be done, i had to save you, i had to make sure you were okay.”
“i was the one who should’ve protected you. i should’ve been more aware, alert, ready to attack. they shouldn’t have been able to lay a hand on you but they did and i’m so sorry,” Shouto whispered into your hair, rocking you back and forth in a vain attempt to soothe you.
your hand reached out to shakily touch his face, tracing his scar like you always did when admiring him, brushing away dirt and barely dry blood. you had truly thought that you were both going to die and that there was nothing that could be done. in that moment, nothing mattered to you except showing Shouto how much you loved him and how he alone gave you the strength to fight.
“merry fucking christmas to us,” you laughed bitterly before pressing your lips to his forehead. “i know this is not how we were planning on spending our christmas eve but i don’t want our plans to get ruined just because of what happened tonight.”
with a confused and dazed look on his face, you brought your lips to his, tongue slipping in to gently massage his gums, tasting the blood in your mouth mixing with his. maybe it was the adrenaline from the fight, maybe it was the desperation to show him how much you loved him, maybe it was the simple fact that your boyfriend was so pretty, but you couldn’t help but want to fuck him senseless.
your hands came to rest on his chest, pushing him down against the cold ground, peppering his face with kisses, down to his neck, resting on his pulse point. you felt his throat bob, felt the blood rushing through his veins, felt how hard he got underneath you. the loss of blood mixed with adrenaline left you feeling like you were going to pass out from ecstasy and things hadn’t even started. with one last nip to his neck, you worked your way down his body, pinching anywhere you could reach, taking little time to admire his body as you practically ripped his pants off.
“what are you-?” he questioned, immediately hissing as your warm mouth met the tip of his cock.
“i can’t live another second without you,” you answered honestly, eyes trained on his face as you began licking stripes up his shaft.
Shouto didn’t know what to think or do but his own mind was hazy from the blood loss and intensity of the situation. you two had almost just died, lost everything you worked towards in mere seconds, all because of his inability to protect you. that thought had him nearly crying in anger but he held it back, relishing in the feeling of you here, safe, with him. he vowed to do better, starting now.
your mouth had only been working on his cock for a couple minutes before his hand tangled itself into your hair, pulling you from him. you whined, confused and hurt, wanting to show him how much you loved him before looking into his eyes and realizing what was happening. there was so much guilt, so much anger, so much desire that you didn’t think you could look for another second.
he surged upon you with a jolt, his other hand finding purchase on your back as he began to feverishly kiss you, pulling you impossibly close to him, teeth gnashing. you were on your back in seconds, his hungry lips never leaving your body. he licked the sweat and blood that pooled down your neck, loving the way you tasted, like there was no sweeter nectar than you. he had to show you how sorry he was and how dedicated he could be, how attentive he would be, how he would never let himself live this down. you felt his frustration in every nip to your skin, every bruise he left on your body, every pinch and grasp of his hands. he was ruthless, relentless, mixing blood with saliva, coating you in dirt, soaking you to the bone.
your pants were shoved down your legs harshly, scraping against the cold ground. you shivered at the feeling of it but gasped when his spit landed on your pussy. the contrast had your back arching, a rough palm coming down on your abdomen to hold you in place. he parted your folds with cold fingers, rubbing the warm spit into your hole, fingers squelching as it mixed with your arousal and blood. he spit on his own cock, not wanting to waste another second not being inside of you. he needed to be with you, be as close to you as possible, remind you how much he loved you and how he would be there for you, just like you wanted to do to him.
his cock stretched you to the brim as it always did, but he slipped in with ease, the mix of liquids allowing him to thrust into you mercilessly. you weren’t sure what came over him or yourself even but all you knew in that moment was that you needed to be with him to the fullest extent possible.
his pace was rough, hips snapping into your own, your legs wrapped tight around him, pulling him as close as possible, lips melding together, breathing in each other's breath, hands tangled in each other's bodies. there was no rhyme or reason, no soft nothings whispered in ears, tender looks or soft kisses. this was to simply prove that you were both alive, both here on this earth, both there for one another in every way possible.
your legs shook, vision blurred, breath quick and labored as you approached your orgasm. Shouto was chasing his own, obsessed by your whines and moans, the solid feeling of you underneath him. he didn’t care about anything except this moment, the here and now. he would never take another moment with you for granted.
with one last rough snap of his hips, his fingers roughly rubbing your clit, you came with a cry. your gummy walls sucking him in allowed him to finish only seconds after you, his own moans finally ringing out as the adrenaline reached its peak. he collapsed on you, eyes fluttering closed and breaths shallow and you passed out right after him, letting your vision get hazy until your mind went black.
it could’ve been minutes or years before you two woke back up but the dark sky told you that you weren’t asleep for long. Shouto had already slipped out of you, clumsily pulling his pants back up before helping you, wincing as he saw all the damage to your body: some his, some the villains.
“i love you,” was all he said, pressing a kiss to your still throbbing temple before you two began shuffling out of the mess.
it took all of ten minutes to find a rescue squad and by the looks on their faces, you two were in bad shape. they attempted to help you but you two refused to part sides, not wanting to be away from each other for even a moment. the intensity of it all was wearing out and in its wake left exhaustion and pain but even as you two stumbled and struggled to get back to the medical staff, you never stopped holding onto each other. it was only when you could finally sit down and get looked at that you stepped away, fingers lingering on one another before you separated.
“hey Sho?” you called out before he left, his eyes turning to you, a tilt of his head showing that he was listening. “Merry Christmas,” you said with a cheesy salute, turning around to head to the medical tent.
it was only when you sat down and looked at your pants that you saw creamy white streaks of cum settling into the fabric. with a chuckle, you halfheartedly tried to wipe it away before shrugging, muttering to yourself about having a white Christmas after all.

Taking a Break (Eijirou Kirishima x Female Reader)
This is my fic for this months BNHArem fic! This month is all about taking a break. Enjoy!
Warnings: fingering, squirting, this is deadass just porn with very little plot.
MINORS DNI.
“You need to take a break.”
Your boyfriend’s words broke through your thoughts as you glared at the computer. For the past three days you had been working nonstop on a paper for your literature class, and he could see that your brain was turning to mush.
“But baby, this is due soon and I need to finish it or I could fail.” You whined at him.
Kirishima smiled at you before saving your work, closing the laptop and moving it away from you.
“Alright princess, that paper isn’t due for another three days and you’re working yourself to death to get it done earlier. So take a break and come lay on the couch with me and just relax, okay?” His sharp tooth smile pulled your own onto your face as you stood up from the table.
“Fine, but only for an hour or so and then I’m finishing this.”
One hour turned into two as he had somehow persuaded you into watching your favorite movie, and by the end of it your e/c eyes were drooping. You were currently laying with your back against his shirtless chest and your head was even with his as the two of you laid against the couch pillows. A yawn clawed its way out of your mouth as the end credits began rolling.
“Is my princess tired?” Kirishima’s voice rang out, slowly dragging you out of your sleepy stupor. He pressed a warm kiss against your pulse point and warmth began to pool in between your legs. You shifted slightly, trying to dull the beginning ache there and your boyfriend noticed immediately. He did it again.
“Yes baby, I’m tired.” You breathed out. He slowly dragged his hand up the side of your body before using it to turn your face further to give him better access to your neck. You felt his sharp teeth prick your neck before his tongue ran over it. His other hand trailed down your body and began to play with the hem of your pants.
“Are you too tired to do this?” he asked. His mouth continued its assault on your neck as his hand began slipping under your pants and underwear. You let out a whimper as his fingers came into contact with your sex, slowly moving up and down to gather the juices that were now flowing freely.
“Never. I’m never too tired to do this with you.” You panted.
You felt him chuckle against your neck before slowly pushing a thick finger into your aching cunt. You whined softly as his expert fingers quickly found the pulsing and spongy spot inside of you and played with it. Arching your back, you pushed your lower half against his hand as you felt him push in a second finger before pushing his thumb against your clit. He quickly rubbed tight circles against it. You quickly felt your climax approaching, as it had been days since the two of you had had any intimate contact due to all of your energy being focused on the paper due. As you tried to ride his hand your lower back pushed against his rock hard length and he groaned.
“Princess if you keep doing that I won’t be able to stick to my plan of making you feel good and then us going to bed.” He growled lowly.
You whimpered at the husk of his voice and felt your climax grow closer at his words. Feeling a third finger push against your entrance had your orgasm crashing over you like a wave, and you felt your release spray against the seat of the couch. Kirishima’s fingers slowly worked you through the rest of your orgasm before you slumped back against his chest, exhaustion laying over you like a warm blanket.
Your eyelids began to close slowly as you felt Kirishima press a kiss against your temple.
“I love you sweet girl, get some rest. I’ll wake you in a while okay?” He asked softly.
“I love you Eiji. Thank you for making me take a break. It was the best one yet.”

Shouta nodded and signaled for
someone to come inside for a moment.
~~~About two days later~~~ You were working about the ship, cleaning bandages of old blood and teaching the crew how to sterilize their equipment and how to make bandages from old sheets and how to clean them. You even taught the crew how to stitch up a wound and cover it properly. You were in the middle of teaching one of the younger members that you had learned that their name was Izuku and he was a friend of Shoto’s when some other members of the crew stood up, facing the Captain’s quarters. You too turned to see Shouta hobbling out on a makeshift crutch that someone had made from a spare piece of wood found in some corner of the ship.
“We will be in port soon. Be ready to restock and spend a few days of leave here on the island. I don’t want to hear that any of you get drunk or fool around with one of the working women there, got it? I will be away for the time being so Present Mic will be in charge in my absence, you hear?” He spoke. The crew replied with a hearty “AYE” before heading off to their designated chores about the ship. Shouta walked over and saw what you were doing. “When you’re done, you need to gather your things and be ready to leave with me when we get in port. You’re coming with me to the herbologist to help with my ‘ailment’.” He spoke in a serious tone. You nodded and finished up what you had been teaching Izuku and Shoto. You entered the Captains quarters and began gathering your things as you had seen the island’s shore grow closer.
You felt the ship creak and groan under your feet as the crew prepared her to turn into port and dock at the nearby harbor with the help of the harbor’s crew. You hear the yells and calls of the crew communicating with one another as you grabbed your medical bag, rolls of bandages, and sets of tools that one of the girls down in the galley helped you make from her own power. You had found out that in the few short days that you had been on this ship that everyone in The Lone Wolf’s crew has some kind of supernatural ability. You found this interesting and learned about each power that you could wrap your mind around.
When you had finished collecting your things and fastening the bag, you waiting in the cabin where Shouta came in and smiled at you. “Are you ready, my love?” He asked as he cupped your cheek.
“Yes, Let’s hope that this “herbologist” of yours knows how to save a leg from infection.” You spoke as you kissed him gently. He looked at you confused. “What’s an ‘infection’?” He asked as he followed you out of the cabin.
“Its when bad sickness sets into a wound like the one in your leg.” You spoke as you followed him up to the aft deck where someone who looked to be made from rock was steering the ship. Shouta went to the side of the deck where he could watch over the operations of The Lone Wolf head into port play out.
Once The Lone Wolf had settled and the crew were taking inventory, Shouta led you off the boat with Hizashi right behind you both. You didn’t question this fact as the three of you went through town, going to the outskirts and finding a little hut with an open room attacked to the side where a short woman with a wooden stick through her hair was hobbling around with her cane. Hizashi helped Shouta up the steps and to her door.
“Ooh hello there. It’s been a while since you were last here, Captain Eraserhead. Get yourself settled and lets see what we have to work with here.” The old lady spoke as she went around her infirmary that was well stocked by what you saw. You were impressed by how well her smaller hospital was stocked with the standards of the time that you were in. You entered the room and sat in a chair in the corner as Shouta laid on one of the makeshift cots and put his leg for the medicine woman to see. She came over with some bandages and what looked to be some scissors, and a type of antibiotic ointment and a type of alcohol to clean a wound. She looked to have a bit of trouble handling all the items so you stood up to help her with the bigger bottles. She gave you a smile and set down the other items. “Thank you, young girl. Who might you be?” She asked. “I’m Y/n. Captain Shouta’s mate and the one that tied up the bullet wound on his leg. Shoto cauterized his wound to help prevent bleeding and I did the rest.” You told her. The woman looked at your handiwork and was impressed. “You did very good for using materials on a ship. But I’m seeing a small bit of infection that has set into the flesh. I will give him an antibiotic and you shall stay here for the time being.” She spoke. “Maybe I can be of assistance. I know my way around an infirmary.” You offered. “That will be nice. As I am older, I cannot move around as easily. Your help will be greatly appreciated.” She spoke. “What is your name I might ask?” You asked her. “You can call me Recovery Girl.” She responded.
“Thank you, Recovery Girl for helping him. Now where go you keep some of your herbs? I can get started on the antibiotic.” You said as you got up and went into the storage area where there were many jars and containers of herbs and spices. “In the pantry. Look for the garlic, turmeric, honey, and onion. It sounds like an awful blend but it will draw out that infection like a mosquito draws out blood.” She explained as she prepared to inspect his wound. You dug around the cabinets until you found all the right herbs and set them on the counter. “How do you want me to prepare it?” You asked. “Cut up the garlic and onions and mix them into the honey along with the turmeric until its like a paste. Then bring it over here and I’ll apply it to the wound.” She instructed. You did as you were told and brought the salve over to her. She had you take the rest of the bandage off his leg and she showed you how to apply the salve to his leg. Shouta winced as the nutrients of the salve began to seep into his flesh and kill off any remaining infection that might have snuck in past the cauterization. Recovery girl brought you more clean bandages to wrap up the wound again when the salve had been applied. You wrapped up his leg gently then kissed him on the head. You took the soiled bandages and asked where you might be able to clean them. The older lady took you to a gentle river where she would do her laundry and clean any soiled linens she might have from her patients.
You were scrubbing the dried-on blood out of the fabric when Recovery Girl sat down next to you on a rock. “Where did you learn how to heal?” She asked, trying to make conversation. “I mostly taught myself. With there being fights on the island between the Redcoats and the locals or the pirates that come into my tavern, you tend to learn a thing or two.” You spoke as you wrung out the bandage and hung it over the line that the healer had in her yard so it could dry. You then looked into the infirmary and saw that Shouta was sitting up and Hizashi was bringing him a drink of water. “I want to tell you this before I tell the Captain. The salve will take out some of the infection but not all of it. You did a good job by cauterizing the wound but there was something in the bullet that is causing more harm than good to him. His leg will have to be cut off to prevent whatever is causing him harm from spreading further. He looks sicker than what he’s allowing to show. He doesn’t want to scare you, dear.” She spoke. You looked a little shocked. “Can’t we find out what’s making him sick instead of taking his leg? You were the one that gave him the potion that tames his wolf side. Aren’t werewolves allergic to silver?” You asked. As you looked at your mate and noticed how pale he looked. Paler than he normally did. His dark eyes dart up to meet yours and you looked away. “Yes. Werewolves are allergic to silver. I’ve seen the creatures be shot down by a silver bullet. If our speculations are correct, the bullet he was shot with was made out of silver. Do you still have the bullet, my dear?” Recovery Girl asked. Your hand went into one of your apron pockets and pulled out the bloodied bullet and showed her. “Grab one of the lemons off of the shelf, dear and use it’s juice on the bullet. If the juice turned a shade of dark red, its pure silver. If its brown or green then its only covered in silver.” Recovery Girl instructed as you grabbed a lemon and cut it in half. You then squeezed the juice over the bullet and watched as it bubbled and foamed. Your heart sank as the foam turned a sickly shade of dark red. “Cut his leg off. the bullet is silver.” You spoke. Hizashi heard what you had said and entered the storage and preparation part of the infirmary that you and Recovery Girl were in. “What do you mean ‘cut my leg off?’ Why does my leg have to be cut off?” Shouta asked. “There is no time to explain. Where is a sedative and your surgical tools, Recovery Girl?” You asked as you headed to another part of the pantry. Recovery Girl pointed out where the items were and you gathered them. Hizashi followed you, repeating the Captain’s question. “Dabi used a silver bullet and if we don’t cut his leg off, Shouta will die. I need you to hold him down and administer the sedative to him.” You explained and handed him a cloth and a bottle that had the label ‘chloroform.’ “This will knock him out so we can remove the poisoned part of his leg and bandage it up and let it heal. We can hopefully find him a replacement down in the town.” You explained as you began to boil some water to sterilize the knife and saw that would be used to cut the leg off.
“If I remember right, there is a wood worker in the town that should be able to make a new leg for me to use.” Shouta spoke. “We will figure that out later. For now, you need to be knocked out. Unless you want to feel the pain of the knife and saw cutting through your flesh and bone.” You told him as you sterilized the bone saw. “I think a nap would be a good idea.” He spoke. Hizashi then administered the chloroform and within a matter of minutes, Shouta was out cold. “You might want to take a walk as this will take a while and it will be unsightly.” You advised the first mate. He nodded and left the infirmary, taking a walk through the woods as you made the first incision.
~~~A few hours later~~~
The End.

Sleepless
Hitoshi Shinsou Sleepy Comfort: Hello all, this is my contribution to this months BNHAREM Collab. Please view the rest of the master list here. This months theme was about spending time with one of our favourite characters. So each piece (art, writing, or other) has really come from the heart.
For all the times I couldn’t sleep and wished I had an insomniac Shinsou to hold me through it... For all those who cannot find enough peace to fall asleep some days, this one is for you.
The only TW is depersonalization and some depressed thoughts.
The clock blinks 3:07 AM. The gods of sleep had forgotten you while they had kissed the foreheads of the rest of the world. Your apartment felt vast and empty and nothing seemed to make sense. Sometimes it felt as if you were evaporating from the world… or rather, the world was evaporating away. It was unsettling, feeling like you were walking through a dream. Your movements heavy and light at the same time, floating, slowly dissolving into the ether. ‘Maybe this time… it will actually happen, maybe, this time, I will fade and no longer exist. I feel nothing, I am nothing.’
Hot tears roll down your cheeks as the exhaustion adds to your fear. You sit up and look out the window to. The lights of the street pour over the pavement in artificial fluorescence. You need fresh air, something to snap you back into your body. You throw open the window and climb out onto the small balcony.
The night air washes over you, or perhaps it blows through you. You look up in an attempt to see the stars only to find the orange glow of city lights reflecting off of the black sky. ‘It’s like yelling into a void,’ you think to yourself. You want to laugh and cry at the same time, there is such an irony in loneliness.
“Can’t sleep?” he questions. You turn to see your neighbour Hitoshi Shinsou leaning against the railing of his balcony. You shake your head, relief flowing through you that another human being can perceive your existence, even if you yourself cannot. “Been good?” you ask, giving him a sleepy smile. You had a few exchanges with Hitoshi, and occasionally hung out in each other’s apartments but he had been busy. “Eh, not too bad I guess… you?” You consider telling him that you’re good, fine, okay, but you knew Hitoshi well enough to know that he wasn’t afraid of honesty. “Been better,” you yawn and he laughs softly. “Past your bedtime, huh? Dont you usually pass out at like 11?” You shrug and smile, “not lately.”
Hitoshi takes you in and his brow furrows in response. “Do you want to talk about it?” he offers. You shrug again and shift your weight from side to side. “Not really…” you pause considering your words carefully. “This might seem weird but- could I come over…” He says nothing, just extends his hand to help you climb over the railing separating you two.
His hand is warm and large over your own. It’s strange, you know Hitoshi doesn’t sleep much but something about his presence inspires a desire to sleep. You look at him with big tired eyes before your head falls onto his chest. You close your eyes and wrap your arms around him. “ ‘m sorry, you’re just so- comforting,” you mumble into his chest. He pulls you closer, “I’ve never been told that…” You adjust so that your ear is against his chest, his heartbeat steady. “Well, you are.”
A silence washes over you both, sounds of the city below only add to the moment, the wail of a siren and the beep of a horn, laughter from a bar a couple blocks away, music passing with cars. Leaning into the man with lavender hair, the world felt like it was slowly being filled. The life that felt it was being evaporated from you felt as if it was being poured back into your body with every stroke of Hitoshi’s hand down your back. The thought of returning back to your empty apartment had you gripping his shirt and pulling him closer. “Can I stay?” you ask. It’s unexpected but not unwelcome when he presses his lips to your forehead. “Of course,” he says, hands still running up and down your back to soothe.
Hitoshi leads you through the window, into his bedroom. You both crawl into his bed laughing quietly and making soft conversation as you find your way into each other's arms. It’s strangely natural, as if it had always been this way. Each thought and memory that is shared between the two of you is cherished, said and listened to with the heart itself. And soon your eyes are closing, your head on his chest. The comfortable silence created is paused by Hitoshi’s words, “I’m glad you’re here.” Anyone would assume he meant in his bed, but it was the way he said it that made you realise he meant more than just ‘in his bed’. You sit up slightly and look at him. You aren’t quite sure what to say so you press your lips to his cheek before you snuggle back into his chest. You fall asleep to the rise and fall of his breath and the beating of his steady heart.
It’s light through the blinds that has your eyes fluttering open. Hitoshi’s arms are still holding you, though now his chest is against your back and your legs are intertwined. You find yourself face to face with a clock once more, though this time it glows, 14:36. You roll to face him, rubbing his shoulder. He blinks awake, heavy eyelids, and smiles when he sees you. “It’s two thirty,” you say wide eyed. His eyes grow to the same size as yours as he checks the clock. You both laugh together. “I don’t remember the last time I slept that long… or that well,” he muses. You nod agreeing, “me either.” His hand comes up to meet your cheek, his thumb stroking softly under your eye before trailing down to your jaw. You lean in and touch your lips to his. It’s a soft and simple kiss. A signal of gratitude, because as he held your heart while you slept, a part of it healed, and now, you’ve woken up, but you’re truly awake.

Midnight Confessions
Hey Amy,
I hope you enjoy this piece! You gave me a lot of creative freedom here and I hope you like it! I had so much fun with this after I figured out a way to kinda run with the soul mates idea and do it in a very unique and kinda wizardly way. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays! You enjoy all the Great things! 🥰💝❤️💕
This was my first time writing Shouto and I had a lot of fun with it after I figured it out. Thank you so much!
This piece is for the BNHarem Discord server’s Secret Santa event we did with those who signed up.
For those who take a look at this as well, I hope you enjoy! Feedback and comments, likes and reblogs are always welcome! 🤗
If you’re only here to hate because well it’s Harry Potter, please keep your opinions to yourself. Oh the book titles are made up and it’s thanks to my boyfriend they exist in the first place when I needed some ideas! 🥰
Summary: Hogwarts is a place of wonder and magic for many young wizards, but for others it can be a place of refuge, friendship, acceptance and love. Soul mates exist and this is the story of how two best friends realize just how close they really are.
Characters: Shouto Todoroki x Reader | Toya Todoroki & Mentions of the Todoroki Family.
Word Count: 7695
Dividers came from @firefly-graphics specifically here
Your fingers begin to cramp up and you set your quill down carefully, as you shake out your hand, before flexing your fingers, bending them a few times before letting your gaze drift back to the words that were bleeding together on the pages of Lunar Trances. You weren’t the only one scrambling to find various books on Werewolves after Professor Snape gave the surprise essay in your Defense Against the Dark Arts class after Professor Lupin wasn’t there to teach today. Snape had been the last person you and the rest of the class had wanted to see, your face had fallen just like the rest at seeing the Slytherin house leader standing before the desk.
His jealousy over Professor Lupin was horribly obvious to just about everyone but the Slytherins. You had been placed in Gryffindor when you had been sorted by the sorting hat all those years ago. You loved your house, enjoyed all your friends, but none of them could compare to the boy who you were drawn to. You both had been close as children, your parents were often invited to the same Ministry of Magic functions, and thus their spouses and children were encouraged to come too. It was how you had met the well known Todoroki family and gotten to be as close as you were with them.
You sighed, as you ran your hand down your face for a moment before taking another stab at finding the information you were looking for. Lunar Trances was the first book you had found and snatched up, after all the others were looking for books on Werewolves too. It had been one of three you had been looking for. The second you had tucked next to you but hadn’t begun to read yet, it was Luna’s Gaze. You didn’t look up from your reading as the chair across from you scraped back.
You had assumed it was your girlfriend, she’d been hounding you for ages to come watch her quidditch practice . “Look Lex, I can’t watch your practice tonight, this paper is due tomorrow and I’m already behind, you know Professor Snape is going to skin me alive if it’s not done, after I bumped into him in the courtyard last week.” You scowled down the parchment paper in front of you at the memory. “He wasn’t happy that we’d both lost our footing!” Your sigh was heavy and you can’t help the whine in your voice as you remember the horribly fiasco.
“So that’s why he’s been in a particularly foul mood, who would have thought you’d be the cause,” The masculine voice and teasing tone had you jerking your gaze up toward your desk mate. If it wasn’t your partner in crime in the flesh. “Toya, I thought you had class with Professor Hagrid.” You watch him shrug as he places his hands over a book he’d set down. “We did, but a Slytherin 3rd year caused a ruckus with the Hippogriff, and the class was cut short thanks to his blunder, kids lucky he didn't lose a few fingers.”
His off handed comment caused your lips to twitch upward, you really shouldn't be finding any sort of humor in someone else’s possible loss of appendages...but it was hard not too when it happened with Slytherin. Only made harder by his description of the kid when you had asked, many in the school were all too aware of Malfoy and his desire to appear bigger than he was, all because of who his father was.
“Actually,” he amended with a widening grin as his lips moved exposing his teeth as he stuck his tongue out at you, wiggling his tongue piercing and arching a studded brow at you. “I wish he had, Slytherin would need a new seeker,” he told you darkly.
It wasn’t the first time you wondered how Toya had gotten into the Gryffindor house, sometimes you saw the darker parts. They didn’t bother you, but it was the side that left a few people uncomfortable. It was alright though it was part of his charm, that bad boy vibe that had many flocking to him, but he wouldn’t be swayed.
He was bound to your friend Lexi and what they shared made you wish for that too with Shouto. You had watched their marks in visible places change as they got closer, no longer was it the original pale blue color along their skin, but they were now a deep vibrant red, that sparkled in the sun. Not every soul mate shared such a strong bond, but you hoped that you would. It was always wonderous to watch the tattoos of the other’s Patronus move along their skin, rippling as though a true animal and alive. Meeting as their hands touched or his arm would travel along her shoulder and draw her close.
Soul marks were powerful, the stronger the bond, the stronger their protection against the dark, dangerous magic that lived in our world. Love was powerful indeed.
Toya was one of your best friends despite the age difference between you, and he was also one of the few who had picked up on your bond with his little brother, before anyone else. The guy was always making little comments that left you flustered and embarrassed and Shouto annoyed at being left in the dark.
Being friends with the various siblings of the Todoroki family was definitely eventful, but it left very little private sometimes. Like what happened last year with the youngest Shouto Todoroki who had been your friend ever since you had first met during a winter event at the Ministry of Magic when you had been six years old.
He was the youngest spoiled rotten, but a caring and kind boy who loved his family. You were close to them and thus it left you able to see much of what their father tried to hide from the wizarding world. The downward spiral of their mother Rei Todoroki’s mental health after the attack she suffered at the hands of someone found to be linked to the Dark One. Whose dark magic drove her further and further away from her family and her husband. Whatever he had done had destroyed their connection, their bonds, and thus it sent her into a downward spiral.
Her absence came with horrible heavy weight that was left on the rest of the family. To lose your mother, the love of your life…when she was alive, but filled with hatred against those she loved with all her heart. How did one survive that?
The truth was they didn’t. It ate away at the very foundation of the Todoroki family and it nearly destroyed them all.
It wasn’t hard to see the signs of the family spiral during their mothers episodes and as the years passed you saw Toya’s rebelliousness get worse, his own cry for help at his fathers pressures he couldn’t live up to. The weight rested so heavily on his shoulders as Rei’s health diminished. It was no surprise when he did his best to escape and stayed out with his friends, withdrawing from his family and his responsibilities he felt he couldn’t live up too.
Fuyumi stepped in to fill the gap her mothers absence left, struggling to keep the family together and hold onto the hope that things would get better with time. Natsuo got angry and the fighting with his father Enji got worse and worse. It was the only way they could communicate at the moment was with anger, but. he didn’t leave his family to pick up the pieces, no he stayed to help Fuyumi and keep an eye on Shoto, as he struggled to convince Touya to stay.
Shoto withdrew into himself, tightening down his emotions and shutting them in a box. He didn’t want to be a problem and thus he kept his head down, and kept mostly to himself, distancing himself from his family and the world.
You’d been lucky he’d opened up to you like he had during that, it hadn’t been easy, but you didn’t abandon them. You did what you could and it was something they appreciated. You were there, you listened…and you stayed.
“I’m glad I missed that,” you told him with a soft sigh as you let your attention drift for another moment down to your parchment, before you raised a brow at the dyed black haired young man’s book that he was covering with his arms, his blue eyes mirthful as though he had something you most certainly were going to want.
Your scowl at the book, and at him as he slowly raises each finger letting you see the title on the spine as his black painted fingernails no longer hide it from view. It was The curse of the starlit night. You needed that book for your report! You’d scoured the library twice looking for it! “I’ve been looking for that!” You exclaimed a little too loudly causing others to shoot you both looks of contempt and the other to only widened his grin as he felt a touch along the base of his neck before a body pressed against his back.
“You should really keep your voice down Y/N, this is a library you know,” The new voice is feminine and one you know all too well.
“I usually do,” you can’t help the defensive note in your voice as though all your good library behavior would excuse this one. “That’s not what happened last week,” Touya teased, pressing his feet back against the floor and letting his weight fall back more fully against the young woman behind him.
“Will you shut up?!” You can’t help but hiss in a low tone.
“How long are you going to hide it from him? It’s been nearly a year you should just tell him,” The comment that came from Alexis had you frowning, your fingers curling atop your unfinished essay. It was clear the two of them had been talking amongst themselves about your love life…or well lack thereof but still!
As long as I have to keep things from breaking apart.
Your gaze slid to the young woman with curly long hair that fell over her shoulders and for a moment you were in awe over the way the ends of her hair were pastel pink, and then after a few moments changed to another color. Your gaze went to her arms that were encircled around Touya’s neck, and watched the black panther prowl along her exposed arms.
This only worked because Touya was sitting down, their height difference was almost comical, but it was cute and jealousy slithered in your heart as you watched the lioness sit on the back of Touya’s hand in all its vermillion glory as his fingers curled along one of her wrists and his thumb stroked along her skin. The movement unconscious. “Hey babe,” he greeted as he tilted his head toward you as Lexi rested her chin atop of head and he didn’t mind in the slightest. She didn’t answer him, but her arms tightened in her own form of reply to his hello. Her gaze drifted back to you.
You leaned back in your seat and crossed your arms over your chest feeling defensive, and envious of what they had. Lexi had been exactly what Touya needed to fix the connections with his family and find his way back home. “It just hasn’t been the right time…” your excuse sounds lame even to your own ears as you remember the night that changed your relationship with Shouto Todoroki, into an almost unattainable dream.
You and Shouto had been ice skating on the frozen lake last year. Something that really shouldn’t have been happening at all, but you couldn’t sleep so you’d snuck out to sit at the edge of the frozen lake looking up at the stars. You’d never expected him to join you that evening. For his fingers to carefully link with yours in the still freezing night.
It was just to keep your fingers warm you had tried to tell yourself, but that hadn’t stopped your heart from beating loudly in your chest. Even at the memory as you felt your cheeks heat in remembrance.
“Are you going to tell me what’s bothering you?” His voice was low and he’d leaned into you letting his larger body invade your space as his words tickled your ear. You shivered at the sensation, something else you explained away with the temperature. It was freezing and neither one of you should be out here.
You buried your face into your knees and held on tighter to him needing some sort of crutch to reality. You had gotten the news just after dinner when Professor Mcgonagall asked to speak with you. The letter in her hand, open and crumpled slightly from where she had held it a little too tightly.
“Miss L/N…” her words were gentle and her eyes assessing everything about you as you stood before her, unable to bring yourself to sit down when she’d suggested it.
“Your parents sent a letter about your acceptance into…”
“I don’t want to go!” Your outburst is what causes her to cast you a reproachful look, as your eyes narrow at your Head of House. It wasn’t her fault, none of this was her fault. The only ones to blame were your parents and it was only because of your father’s transfer to the North American branch, he’d gotten that promotion, he‘d always wanted…they were just trying to ensure the best education for you. “I didn’t ask to be transferred from Hogwarts! Don’t I get a choice in it, in any of this?!”
The thought of having to leave your friends filtered through your mind and you took a breath to try and steady yourself from the anger and other emotions that wish to hurt you. You didn’t want to leave…you liked it here. Hogwarts was your home.
“You’re still a minor my dear, your parents only —“
“I’ll be seventeen at the end of the term. I’ll be eighteen next year. I just —“
“My dear you really need to talk this over with your parents…surely they will understand.”
Her words weren’t meant to defeat you, but it felt like she was siding with them, wasn’t she supposed to be on your side. Didn’t she want you here?
I-I“ your words falter as your voice weaves and cracks under the emotion, your eyes filled with tears as you take a deep breath and then another to try and calm down as a tear trails down your cheek. “D-don’t w-want to leave,” you hate the hitch in your words but you can’t do anything about it, not now. You can’t hide how you feel.
Your fingers slide across your cheek to take away the evidence but she’s already up in a flurry of her robes and curling her arms around you as she gently rubs your back, she was very much a motherly figure when you weren’t at home and you appreciated that, now more than ever. “I like it here…” you whisper as her kindness only makes your tears travel faster along your cheeks.
“I’ll speak with Albus…” she murmured softly as she held you a little tighter, not catching her own slip of the tongue.
That meeting was what led you to your current escape and was probably the only reason you were able to be out here without any punishment awaiting.
As his shoulder pressed against your own a little harder and his fingers tightened on your own. But he didn’t press you to talk, instead he waited for you to make the first move. He knew that you would tell him eventually or you would avoid the subject all together and that sort of dictated how things would go and told him something about whatever was going on.
“Have you been ice skating yet?” You ask him, your cold lips close to his ear and it caused his own heart to race and his ears to burn with color, but thankfully he was able to keep you unaware of what you did to him. You allowed him to hide how he felt. He didn’t want to ruin your friendship, you were too important to risk.
Shoto covered your lips with his other hand. He watched the way your eyes widened. “How long have you been out here?” He questioned, as he did his own mental calculations and the possibility made his concern only grow as he watched you shiver even with the heavy winter cloak around you. His mismatched eyes narrowed and he could feel the way you grinned against his hands and saw the way your cheeks heated with color. He felt your lips move and your muffled voice against his hand. “Maybe an hour,” you tell him as your gazes lock over his hand as his warmth seeps into you.
He couldn’t explain the feeling that had settled when dinner had ended and you had been escorted to Professor Mcgonagall's office. He’d glanced toward the hall before he’d waited for you. He didn’t press you to tell him what was wrong, instead you two had gone back to the Gryffindor common area in complete silence. He knew you had been crying, your red rimmed eyes and tightly pressed lips as you held your head high and walked back.
You’d slipped away from him up to the girls dorm before he could try and figure out how to ask you what happened. You would tell him with time, but that didn’t make seeing you in distress any easier. You were his best friend and as you slipped through his grasp tonight, as he let you walk away from him. He wondered if his silence, if his refusal to press you was somehow worse as he’d done nothing.
Toya would have taken you aside and demanded answers and yet he had given you what no one else would have: space and time to come to terms with whatever was bothering. It was an understanding you appreciated, but was it needed? Should he have done something different? It was a struggle to feel like he made the right choice, when it felt like he wasn’t doing enough.
He hadn’t stayed with the rest of the house and their nightly activities, instead he’d retired early too. Wanting space to think about everything as he tried to figure out what he should do for you.
He hadn’t been able to sleep tossing and turning as he debated with himself on what he should do about you. Should he confront you and demand to know what had upset you or was it best to wait it out? He hated the powerlessness that settled over him, as his worry only continued to grow as the night wore on.
He rolled over toward his dresser drawer and began to search the contents inside. It wasn’t long before he pulled out a small folded up piece of blank parchment that didn’t appear to be anything special at all.
The marauder's map was special, something he’d received just this year from Touya, who had said he didn’t need it and instead gifted it to him after explaining how to use it. Shouto took out his wand and tapped it against the blank pages. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.” The parchment bleed into life showing his current location and the vast expanse of Hogwarts and as he let his finger travel over the names he could see, one caught his eye on the ground out by the lake and as he focused on the name, his frown only deepened as he moved quietly about his room, dressing quickly and throwing his cloak on as he slipped down the stairs, his shoes in hand and his wand in his pocket, the map in his other hand as he slipped from the Gryffindor tower and out onto the grounds after only having to avoid a few of the Professors like Snape and Filch and his cat Mrs. Norris.
His scarf tied around his neck and the other down his back as he crunched through the heavy snow in his winter boots and found you so easily. The map tucked safely in his pocket, but still active. You knew about the map and he’d shown you how to use it, together you two had been on more than one night of exploring the castle.
It was how he’d gotten to this current situation with you and the frigid winter weather. His hand laced with yours when he’d first sat down and now, now here he was with you. Your words of being out here for over an hour had him removing his scarf and settling it around your neck, his fingers carefully moving your hair out of the way. His fingers brushed the back of your neck causing you to shiver and your cheeks to flush brighter. “You shouldn’t be out here by yourself,” he told you firmly as he tucked the end of the scarf into itself before he stood, his fingers tightening on your still laced fingers.
“C’mon,” he told you as he tugged you to your sneaker covered feet. Instead of heading toward the castle as you had expected, he ventured with you out on the lake.
You were both talented in your own right, so creating magical skates on the bottom of your shoes for a witch and wizard were all too easy and thus it was where you two had far too much fun under the moonlit sky.
You both were two close together, your foot snagged his skate and you both went down. His arms twisted around you and his body slammed hard into the ice with you on top of him. Your fingers had snared his robe and it ripped on the way down, exposing his upper arm to you and as you stare at the small light blue animal of his soul mark, it’s sleeping eyes open and it’s head turns toward you as though seeing you for the first time.
He was your soul mate, your other half.
“It is you,” he whispered the words softly drawing you gaze back to him. He shouldn’t have closed the distance between you, as his cold fingers touched your cheek and traveled along the base of your neck. You shouldn’t have inched ever closer to him. “I’ve wanted to do this for so long,” his soft admission makes your eyes water. No one had ever made you feel more wanted than in this moment. “Nothing is stopping you,” you whisper softly, your cheeks flushed with color and your body so strangely warm even the cold can’t touch you as your lips meet for the first time.
This was home, as your fingers brushed through his hair, something you had always wanted to do, but held back. Not wanting to chance ruining your friendship, besides he wasn’t one who liked physical touch. You’d seen how he was with others and you had gone out of your way to respect his boundaries.
You begin to pull back your hand from his hair but his hand on your wrist stops you. “Don’t, with you it’s ok,” his voice is soft and you can see his breath in the space between you. You smile softly, your cheeks on fire, but you sit back and let your fingers travel through his hair again. He leans into your touch and for a moment he lets himself relish in your contact, the touch reminds him of what his mother used to do.
You press your nose to his, as he scrunches his own at the coldness of yours and your laughter is soft and low as you begin to stand. “We should head inside,” you words left your lips and your hand stretches out for him to help him up.
You both had just found your feet, when something heavy slams into the ice covering the lake's deep waters. You both jump, twisting toward the bank to see how far it is to safety. As his fingers tighten on yours as he pulls his wand from his pocket, ready to defend you.
You hand curls around your wand in your opposite hand, something you absently noticed was that your dominant hands were opposite allowing you both to link hands without issue. It was just another small sign of how you were made for each other.
A horrifying sound of a gunshot had you both freezing in mid motion, your eyes finding the others as the first crack in the lake’s frozen surface appeared before it spiderwebbed outward and you were slammed into by a spell that send you off your feet into the snow bank, no longer in danger on the middle of the lake.
He’d used the precious seconds to cast a spell to send you to safety, at least there you would surely be safe. You tried to raise your head, to roll over and get back to your feet as you felt the world blacken around the edges. You screamed his name and as you took another slow step, you felt another spell hit you and your eyes grew heavy as you watched Shouto disappear into the dark, icy depths of the lake.
You woke in the infirmary hours later, the sleeping spell no longer affecting you. Your eyes fluttered open for a moment, the low lights making you squeeze them shut with a soft sound of pain as you raised your arm to try and cover your eyes. It was in that brief moment of not fully conscious, that it took a few moments for your memories to circle back, to come back into focus and when you did, you shot up in bed, not registering you were in the infirmary at Hogwarts. Your ribs ached, not yet fully healed. Your eyes filled with tears as you struggled to look beyond them.
A strangled cry left your lips, a cross between a sob and a wail as you tried to climb out of bed, the muttered words of “No,no, no.” On loop as your feet touched the ground you almost face planted, as your legs folded under you.
Strong arms encircled your waist, keeping you from falling. “Careful Princess…it’s ok. He’s ok. Take a breath for me.” Touya’s face swam into view, his blue eyes concerned, but he didn’t look angry, he wasn’t mad at you. You took a shaky breath, your fingers limply curling against his shirt, a side effect of being hit with two spells at once and maybe your concussion too.
“W-what?” You tried for more, but it was too hard and it didn’t matter because he caught on to what you wanted and he carefully and slowly explained what had happened.
How Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor Mcgonagall, and Professor Lupin had shown up and saved Shoto from the frozen depths of the lake. What had caused the ice to crack at it was still under Investigation, and the lake and the surrounding area was off limits to all students.
You felt guilty for not being able to do anything during the attack. What sort of witch were you supposed to be? How could you possibly stand on equal footing next to him? When you had been nothing but a burden during the incident at the lake. He could have died…he would have died if it hadn’t been for the teachers and the headmaster.
There was a horrible mistake, you couldn’t possibly be his soul mate. A trick of the light, your own fantasies playing in your head. It was what caused you after the others had left you two alone in the infirmary to place your wand against the side of his head. You needed him to forget the night happened at all or at least where he wouldn’t remember that you’d seen his mark.
“Such a spell on a student is dangerous you know,” the low toned voice from a chair beside the bed had you raising your eyes to the Headmaster. He hadn’t been there before.
“Is his knowledge of that night so bad?” He pressed as he leaned back in the chair, his eyes watching your tear filled face.
“I couldn’t do anything!”
“While that may be true, you were never given the chance to try. Shouto chose to use his magic to save you. Love is not something we can ever fully understand, but it will cause many to make the ultimate sacrifices for those they love.”
He let those words sink as he saw your eyes dart down to his sleeping form and your wand lower. As your thumb brushed along the bandage around his head.
“Is that what you want?”
You were quiet as you considered what he said and you couldn’t deny his words as you slowly let your fingers clasp one of his own. His hand was limp and not nearly as warm as it usually was. Instead of answering him you were quiet as he rose to leave.
His worn hand found your shoulder as he passes by you. “I know you’ll make the right choice Y/N.” You listened to his footsteps as he headed for the door. “Oh one more thing, I spoke with your parents, we see no reason why exceptions can’t be made for your last year at Hogwarts.” He sounded far too chipper with that news and it shouldn’t have brought a small water laugh to your lips as you laid your head down next to the love of your life as you laced your fingers a little tighter with his own as the greatest wizard of all time left you two alone.
It was a few more days before Shouto woke up and the night wasn’t something he could recall. He got the short version from you, but you didn’t bring up everything that happened. How could you? He didn’t remember and it felt hollow to bring up with your parents' move. You didn’t see him much during summer break.
You received his letters though as he told you about what was happening at the Todoroki Estate and how Alexis had met the rest of the family and had even met Rei after she’d been making progress and the doctors were able to slowly restore her connections with her loved ones.
It was during that summer that you distanced yourself from him, punishing yourself and in turn him.
“Y/N, earth to Y/N,” You were brought back by Lexi’s voice and the snap of her fingers in front of your face.
You leaned back in your seat and frowned at her and Touya, who had pulled her in his lap and she was sitting with him, her elbows on the table and his own caging her in. The gesture was ever so possessive, but she didn’t mind his over protectiveness.
“We’ve been over this, he doesn’t remember…I don’t want to make things harder for him.”
You didn’t miss Toya’s pensive look as he tapped his finger on the table before sliding the book across the table toward you. “Does he now?” He muttered more to himself than to either of you.
“Well, we’ll leave you to it Princess,” he told you as the two of them shared a look before Lexi rose to her feet and Toya curled his arm around her back and drew her into his side as they left the library.
You sighed and rubbed your eyes as you steepled your hands together staring at the book Toya had found for you. It was a few more minutes before you dragged it closer and opened the cover to find a small paper note inside with neat, flourished writing that told you the book hadn’t come from him at all.
His gestures, even as you kept your distance this year, he respected your boundaries…even as it internally destroyed you both. But you could suffer through it. It was what you had been doing for months.
While you had seen his mark to know the other was your soul mate, Shouto didn’t. It was something you were still struggling with on how to address it with him. You had feelings for him before finding out last year, but you had wanted him to return your feelings, not feel obligated because of a soul mate mark. You also had your doubts…but you hadn’t wanted to share your mark with him, you felt guilty and you haven't forgiven yourself for what happened last year.
The mark that had become the bane of your existence and caused an ache in your heart you weren’t sure how to alleviate. So instead you ignored it and threw yourself into your school year. Just like you did now, flipping past the note and skimming the table of contents of The curse of the starlit night. It was best if you just focused on your school work.
“Don’t make me do your dirty work, I’m not your little bitch!” Toya growled as he walked past Shouto in the hall outside the library. Shouto stumbled past as his older brother slammed against his shoulder. “Shouldn’t you be nicer to him?” Lexi asked him as they walked away.
They got too far away for him to hear his response, but it didn’t matter and really he didn’t need to as Shouto covered one side of his face with a frown as he slipped through the lingering crowd and looked toward the clock on the wall. He settled against the windowsill and made the choice to wait for you.
Things hadn’t gotten any easier since the new school year. After the accident in December on the lake. His relationship with you became strained, you acted normal, but you had put up a wall with him, not letting him get too close anymore. The ease of your relationship was crumbling before his eyes and he hadn’t been sure how to fix it.
Instead he had buried his feelings for you and resigned himself to whatever semi level of acquaintances you wanted this to be. He refused to lose you, but he hadn’t been sure how to fight for you. Not when he felt there was so much about the accident you weren’t telling him. Your guilt was eating you alive and you were the only one being so hard on yourself. You were his best friend…his only friend he could open to and as you withdrew from it, it nearly killed him.
Your depression wasn’t nearly as hidden so you wanted it to be. He knew the signs and unlike the times before where he could help you, you wouldn’t let him as the school year ended and Summer had begun.
His mother had been making progress toward a full recovery after she’d been attacked by a Dark mage nearly eight years ago. His father had been very secretive about her treatment, he didn’t want to give his children false hope, but he prayed it worked. He hoped with all his heart that the love of his life could return to them as the person she was.
He’d overheard his father in his study as the summer had begun, as he discussed in hushed tones how she was doing. The first month he left on his own nearly three times a week, and the next week it increased to where by the end of the first month he was gone every day for about an hour or two. Eventually, the other children went to see her. Fumi, first and then Natsu. Touya had been hesitant to go, but it was Alexis who finally convinced him to go, but he wouldn’t face their mother without his other half by his side. His own way of showing her that he was alright.
Shoto had been the last to see her, and he spent hours with her, telling her about all the years she had missed. She wanted to know about his life and what she had missed. She also wasn’t against the gentle teasing as she heard how close the two of you were. She expressed interest in wanting to meet you again.
A mother could always tell when her child was upset, so it was far too easy for him to spill your troubles to her and his own. If he couldn’t talk to you, he could talk with the other person in this world who would never judge him, only give him the unconditional love he deserved.
“She’s hurting just as much as you are baby,” Rei murmured as her knuckles tenderly brushed his cheek. “No relationship is easy and it’s those that are worth fighting for. Don’t give up on her, whether she’s your soul mate or not doesn’t matter, she’s important to you.”
It was those words that kept him grounded and helped him get through the summer and into this school year.
He hadn’t meant to doze off waiting for you, but the hours passed and there was only so long that he could stare at the door and watch those who left. It was well into dinner and you still hadn’t made an appearance, he worried that he’d missed you.
With a frown he slipped from his spot and as his fingers found the door handle, he looked down to see you as the door opener from the inside. Your eyes widened as they clashed with his own. “What are you doing here?” You asked him, peering around him to notice the halls were empty, everyone was at the dining hall.
“Waiting for you,” his honest answer, shouldn’t make your heart beat in such a cadence. You step into the hall leaning your back against the Library door, no one would be here till dinner was over. “What can I do for you?” You wonder averting your gaze to the other end of the hallway.
“Take a walk with me?” He asked softly, he held out his hand for you to take. “I want to show you something, I promise it won’t take long.”
He can see the indecision in your eyes, but carefully you lay your palm in his own and try to ignore the way your heart flutters as his hold tightens and he takes you through the halls of Hogwarts and out on the grounds, it takes a moment for you to realize his destination is the lake. It’s upon that, when you begin to dig your heels in. “What are you doing?!” You try to pull your hand from his own, hating the higher edge to your voice.
His hold only tightened on your own as he tugged you closer to him. Your hands catching against his chest as he’d let go of your hand, as he can feel the way your body trembles against his own being so close to the place you had been avoiding ever since that night. “Stop avoiding me, stop shutting me out Y/N,” he whispered against your ear as he caged you in with his arms around your back.
“I’m not—“ you start the lie dying on your lips as you squeeze your eyes shut. The silence between you two allows him to press forward. “What happened that night?” He asked his eyes, staring into your own.
You avert your gaze. “Why do you want to know so badly?”
“Why?” His tone has changed and there is a bitter edge to that single word. “I can’t remember, and whatever happened the night has been eating you alive!” He’d stepped back away to try and give you some space, he was so angry with you, at the situation — with everything.
“This was a mistake,” he muttered as he passed you, his tone colder than what he’d ever been with you as he headed back toward the castle.
Tears travel down your cheeks, your breath is coming too fast too unevenly as he walks away from you.
“You almost died…you could have died and I couldn’t protect you!” Your words bubble up and spill out at his retreating back as you face him, watching how his body had stilled at your words.
“How am I supposed to feel it was my fault we were even out there that night! It was all my fault!”
You don’t remember when he came back, you don’t remember hearing him as his thumbs tenderly brushes away your tears. “Baby, it was never your fault, what happened wasn’t your fault,” His hands cupping your cheeks, his forehead pressing against yours as your arms curl around him.
“I should have never asked to go ice skating, I should have never hid that we’re —“ you caught yourself and felt your teeth sink into your lower lip.
“Soul mates?” Shouto asked softly, his voice mingling with your own. You frowned up at him. “Touya has a big mouth when he’s drunk,” he told you gently, coaxing you to continue to talk with him.
As you slowly went over the night he couldn’t remember, you told him about Professor Mcgonagall calling you to her office and about your parents move, how it might affect your acceptance into Hogwarts for this year. You went over how you’d seen his mark, on his shoulder and how it had been sleeping, but it’s eyes had opened and looked right at you. The first sign of a soul mate was when the creature would awaken from its slumber. You also mentioned the kiss.
His thumb brushed over your lower lip. “We’ll have to do that again, it’s a shame I don’t remember it,” he muttered gently, his words causing your cheeks to heat with color as you continued with the rest of the story. How something had slammed into the ice, how he’d saved you and eventually to the infirmary, your run with Touya and then Dumbledore at your bedside.
You had both sat in silence for a few moments as he took in everything he had learned. His lips pressed against your temple as his fingers tightened on your own, as he leaned toward you.
“Show me your mark and I’ll prove I’m your other half,” he whispered, watching the gears twist and turn as you debated with yourself.
As though to prove how serious he was, he pulled down the collar of his shirt exposing the small house cat, little more than a kitten as it arched on its hind legs and swatted its right paw along his skin to see you. It’s fur was fluffed out and poofy as it moved its mouth to meow up at you.
You felt a flutter of warmth along your shoulder blade, a searing heat where your mark lay dormant along your upper back. “Show me,” he pressed, his nose brushing against yours. “Please,” he murmurs as his fingers brush against your cheek. He’d never been an affectionate person, but with you, with you he craved your touch more than he ever thought possible.
“Fine,” you mutter as you give him your back, pulling your hair over your shoulder to expose the back of your neck. With a slow breath out you tell him where your mark is. He brushes his fingers across the base of your neck making you shiver, before he carefully tugs down the collar of your sweater exposing the sleeping black spotted snow leopard for him to view.
You don’t know what he saw, because whenever you saw it, it was sleeping soundly, but you feel his fingers brush along your back. The zing of heat where he touches as you feel the shift of your soul mark and the sound of a heavy purr.
Shoto can only stare into eyes that mirror his own as the large cat lifts his head upon waking to stare at the human heart that had created him in the first place, his magic breathing life into him, tethering him to the woman who was his other half.
Pieces of the night long forgotten flutter in his mind, as what was missing was restored. He curls his arms around you from behind his forehead on your shoulder. Overwhelmed with emotion as he is reminded of what he felt, how afraid for your life he had been. “I would save you a thousand times over,” he whispers against your ear.
His words cause you to turn, your eyes meeting his own as you brush your fingers along his cheek. “We fight together,” you whisper your nose nearly brushing his. “Always,” he promises before he tilts his head and claims your mouth in a kiss, not that different from the one nearly a year ago in your first Midnight Confession.

Working at a strip club was the last thing you pictured yourself doing after you graduated high school. After graduating and moving into a cheap apartment on the outskirts of town, you decided to start working immediately to support yourself. At first, you first got a job working at a cute little Italian restaurant that paid quite well. Waiting tables helped pay the bills and save up for college a little, but after two years of working at the same restaurant, it unfortunately went out of business.
That was one of your worst months, constantly looking for new work and facing rejection after rejection to the point that you were plagued by the phrase, “not enough work experience.” By the time a month and a half went by of you scoping out newspapers and checking all of the job finder apps on your phone, you had gone through most of your savings.
One of your best friends, after realizing how bad your situation was, decided that it couldn't hurt to see if you wanted a position at the joint she ran.
You were very skeptical at first, since she happened to run an insanely popular erotic dance club (aka, a strip club) in town, but she assured you that you wouldn’t be stripping, just bartending and dishwashing. As soon as she explained everything, you immediately took her up on the offer and decided from then on you would owe Mina Ashido your life.
You were able to pick things up easily, make conversation with customers and become friends with many of the dancers who worked at the club. The only downside to working the job was, well, you’re cute. And that meant you got a lot of unwanted attention from guys who initially came for the strippers.
Mina assured you that if you ever needed to take a step away, that that was perfectly fine. But the attention you got wasn’t so bad, you thought. At least there was a bar counter separating you from the wandering hands and predatory words of these people.
Bartending, while it was enough to pay the bills and save up for some nicer furniture, did not pay as much as you would have liked it to. While you wouldn’t have dreamed of asking your friend for a raise, you still felt somewhat resentful watching the dancers at the club walk home with stacks of cash from tips meanwhile you had to wait every two weeks to get your next paycheck.
You were astonished when, on your twenty-first birthday, Mina offered you a job as a dancer. “A lot of our regular customers have been asking about that ‘cute bartender,’” she said. “And I think you would actually really enjoy it. Plus, it pays a lot more.” She ended that last bit in a sing-song voice, as if that in and of itself would be enough to convince you.
You were tempted to say no, you really were, but you’ve seen how much fun the dancers have and how much money they walk away with every night. You knew next to nothing about stripping or pole dancing, but Mina assured you that she’d teach you and that you’d pick it up fast.
And she wasn’t wrong. After a month of her teaching you how to sway your hips and gyrate your body, dip down and caress every exposed inch of skin with your supple fingers, you were ready to hit the audience with everything you had.
You didn’t realize how much fun you would have as a pole dancer. It was a great form of exercise and you kind of liked having lots of people cheering for you to show off your sexy moves. Plus, walking home with a stack of cash each night was one of the greatest perks it came with.
There was only one rule that you had, which you made abundantly clear to Mina. All you would be doing was pole dancing. No lap dances, no touching the audience, and for the love of god, no sleeping with the audience.
And she respected your wishes, even going as far as asking some customers to leave who have tried to touch you without your consent. She keeps a hawk eye over you and every audience member and their wandering hands. You’re nothing but grateful for everything she has done for you.
After the first few months of pole dancing and wearing revealing costumes, you moved into a new apartment and bought nicer furniture. Things were definitely starting to turn around for the better.
“Hey,” you greeted your fellow coworkers as you made your way into the locker room. The club was about to close up for the night and you were more than ready to flop onto your bed at home and sleep until your next shift. “Have any of you seen Mina?”
The other girls looked around at one another. No one seemed to have an answer for her whereabouts.
“Oh!” Nejire popped up. “I think I saw her talking to some guy in her office. Yeah, yeah. Some big guy wearing a business suit.”
Tsu frowned. “I wonder what that could be about.”
You nodded, a sudden feeling of anxiety washing over you. You really hoped she wasn’t being bought out or something. If she wasn’t the one running the club anymore, or worse, if the club was demolished, you would be surely out of a job.
A knock on the locker room door made you swallow your thoughts. “Is (Y/n) in here?” Mina’s voice rang through the room.
“I’m here,” you piped.
She looked scared, and a bit pale. You don’t think you’ve ever seen her look fearful before, even when dealing with rough customers who refuse to leave the building. “Could you come with me for a sec?”
“Sure.” The anxiety you were feeling was bubbling back in your stomach. “Just let me get dressed.”
“Actually,” her voice was shaking. “If you could come here now that would be better.”
You paused, then nodded and followed her to her office. On the way there, she squeezed your hand, slipping something inside.
“I’m so sorry,” she said. “Please, please forgive me for doing this.”
“Mina, what’s going on?” You were worried. Never in the time that you knew her had she ever been so apologetic.
At her office door, you looked at what she slipped into your hand. A small pink bottle of pepper spray stared back at you. What could she have done that you would need this?
She opened her office door and on the other side, like Nejire said there would be, was a big, beefy businessman clad in a suit that was probably worth more than your rent.
“Mina,” you whispered to your best friend. “What is going on?”
The man turned around and you shrunk at his intimidating appearance. You felt the need to cross your arms and cover up your exposed skin of which there was a lot of. “Hello,” the man bellowed with such a low timber. “You must be (Y/n).”
How did he know your name? What did Mina tell him? Who is this man?
You meekly nodded your head and clutched onto the pepper spray until your knuckles couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Forgive me for not introducing myself first.” He extended a hand. “My name is Enji Todoroki and I am the ceo of Todoroki Enterprises.”
You gulped. What the hell did Mina get herself into? You croaked out an “oh” before extending your hand and shaking his. “That’s nice.” You didn’t really know what to say. Was he considering buying the building from Mina? You looked at her and she shrunk back at your gaze.
“Ashido,” he said with a stern demeanor. “If you would please.”
She nodded and squeezed your shoulder one last time. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered in your ear one last time before leaving the room.
And then there was silence. You took a moment to breathe and look around Mina’s office, find something to calm your nerves with. Her office was usually like a little safe haven for you and the other dancers. She deemed a corner of the room the “zen area” where she set up cushions and a kettle and tea boxes. You stared at the fuzzy pink cushion you were so used to sitting on. You were sure your butt had made an imprint.
“Please, take a seat,” Enji Todoroki said, gesturing to the other side of Mina’s desk, away from the cushion that brought you so much comfort.
You frowned at his tone of voice, as if he had been there many times before and as if he owned the damn office himself. At least there was a nice fuzzy blanket on that side of the desk which you could use to cover yourself.
“I can tell that my presence is intimidating you,” he said. “But please, allow me to make my offer before jumping to any conclusions.”
Why was he making an offer to you? What did he want from you?
“As I am sure you are aware, Todoroki Enterprises is a million dollar company run by me and my other associates.”
You nodded. You were not aware of that but you were afraid of what would happen if you asked too many questions.
“And once I retire, the company will fall on the shoulders of my eldest son, Touya.” Enji Todoroki sighed and rubbed his eyes and the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger. “At the moment, he is being rather difficult.”
You nodded. You weren’t sure what was going on, why he was telling you this, but hearing about this rich ceo’s family drama did spark a bit of interest in you.
“He is not doing what I ask of him. He spends all day sleeping in and wasting my money and he refuses to take any part in working for the company.”
That sounded like typical teenage behavior to you. You weren’t sure why this man was being so pessimistic about it, or why he was even telling you in the first place. Surely it’s just a phase he would grow out of. “I’m sorry,” you started, feeling incredibly out of place with the conversation. “I’m not really sure why you’re telling me this information.”
Enji Todoroki let out another sigh. It wasn’t so much that he was fed up with your inability to understand, but really he seemed reluctant to be there talking to you in the first place. “I believe that if he were to have some, well, motivation, he may actually perform his tasks as a part of the company and as future head.”
“Motivation?” What on earth did he mean by that?
“I watched you and your co-workers perform tonight, and from watching your movements paired with his type, you seem like you would be best suited for the job.”
Your face flushed. He couldn’t be suggesting that, could he?
“(L/n), I would like to hire you to have intercourse with my son.”
Your eyes widened. He wanted what? There was no way, no way you could do that. “I’m sorry,” you said with staggered breath. “I don’t think I’m comfortable having sex with a teenager.” You smiled and nodded, thinking that would be the end of it.
“A teenager? My son is twenty-six years old.”
You paused for a moment before letting out an incredibly articulate, “uhhhhh, what?”
“My son is a fully grown adult, older than you in fact. So if your concerns lie within the legality of this exchange I can assure you that he is not a minor.” Enji Todoroki’s booming voice had just shattered your resolve.
Still, he couldn’t make you do anything you didn’t want to. All you had to do was tell him no and it would have been fine.
But you didn’t get a chance to. Before you could even think of what to say next, Enji Todoroki spoke up yet again. “I presume you are wondering what kind of compensation you will be receiving in return.”
You stayed silent.
“Your boss tells me that you are saving up to attend university and intend on furthering your education. I can only admire that kind of work ethic.”
Why? What could he possibly do with that information to make his offer worthwhile? It dawned on you then that that is why Mina was acting so weird, apologizing constantly as she led you to her office. She must not have been able to find a way out of this for you. Either that or the deal was too good to speak on your behalf of. But what could it even be?
“If you are willing to spend a night with my son and get him to take more responsibility in the company, Todoroki Enterprises will pay for your full college tuition at any institution you decide to attend.”
Your jaw fell onto the floor. This had to be a prank, right? Was he seriously offering to pay your full tuition for you?
“So, do we have a deal?” Enji Todoroki leaned forward against the desk and folded his hands together, large hands that could probably hurt you if you decided to say no.
“This is...” you trailed off. You didn’t know what to say or how to respond to an offer like that. He must be pretty desperate for his son to work in order to pay for your tuition in full.
His son.
Oh.
If you took up this offer, then you would have to… “What if I say no?” you asked.
He cleared his throat. “While I would tell you that saying no to this offer would not be in your best interest,” he started. “I cannot force you to say yes or do anything you are uncomfortable with.”
You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding. This was an impossible decision. You didn’t know his son, what he looked like or if he would even want to have sex with you. “It would only be for one night, right?”
Enji Todoroki nodded and let out a sort of grunt out of confirmation.
The thought of being with someone you didn’t know was scary. But at the same time, you would never get an opportunity like this again. Taking a deep breath in and keeping your dream school in mind, you nodded. “I’ll do it.”
“You made the right choice.” He stood up and you followed suit, assuming he’d have you shake his hand and schedule a time and place. “If you’d follow me, the car is waiting out front.”
“Wait, you mean right now?” No, you needed more time to prepare, to figure things out and to take it all in.
“Unless you have something important to attend to, which I doubt you do since you just finished your shift at work, then yes right now.” His eyes, which you hadn’t realized were such a remarkable shade of blue, bore deep into you. “I don’t like to be kept waiting, and neither does my son.”
“Right,” you flinched. “Um, if I could just grab my stuff and get dressed–”
“There will be no need. I already asked your boss to gather your things. We will provide a covering for you so there is no need to get dressed.” The authoritative tone to his voice made you feel so small, like there would be no way for you to even say no against his gaze. “Now if you’ll please follow me.”
You nodded and followed him out of the office and past the locker room where Mina and the other girls watched as you walked away. You barely had any time to watch them or wish them a good night before Enji Todoroki’s bellowing voice spoke up again.
“Our car is waiting out front. In the meantime, you can cover yourself with this.”
Another stranger, someone you presume works for Todoroki Enterprises, handed you a long, tan trench coat. You swiftly threw it over your shoulders and fastened the tie tight against your stomach. He also presented the boots that you wore to work that morning. Mina must have given them your things.
“If you’ll follow me this way,” the stranger said.
He led you outside where you could see the sun begin to poke its way up from beyond the horizon. You hadn’t realized how early in the morning it was. Would Enji Todoroki’s son even be awake at this point?
You were ushered into the backseat of a sleek black Tesla. You had never been in a car that nice before. It made the whole ordeal more harrowing and unreal. “Is Todoroki-san not coming with us?” you asked.
“He’ll be in the car right in front of us. Don’t worry, ma’am.” You usher closed the door and entered the driver’s side of the vehicle. He was a smooth driver, which helped with the nervous bubbles in your stomach that refused to calm down.
Free college, you had to remind yourself. This really was an incredible offer. You hadn’t even let it sink in until you were alone in the backseat of the Tesla, only accompanied by your usher and the light classical music that played on the radio. You would be able to go to any school you wanted to, free of charge. You couldn’t help the giddy smile that played its way onto your lips. This felt like a dream you were scared to wake up from.
“We’re here,” your usher said. Looking out your window, you saw that he had pulled up in front of a tall building reaching more stories than you could count. He opened the door for you and you stepped out into the cool, early morning breeze.
Enji Todoroki had also stepped out of his vehicle and gestured for you to follow him. The wind tickled your legs and you hugged the trench coat tight against your figure. He led you into the lavish building where one of the receptionists handed you a small paper cup of coffee. You were then brought to the elevators where you, Enji Todoroki, and your usher brought you up to one of the tops floors.
The elevator ride felt like it lasted forever. Your hands gripped the coffee cup and shaky lips sipped the beverage as Enji Todoroki talked your ear off. You knew that the receptionist gave you the drink because she figured you would be tired, but you were sure that your nerves would keep you awake regardless of the caffeine.
“I called my son in for an early meeting so he should be here.”
You nodded at the man’s words. This was really happening.
“And if he refuses to show up then we will provide a room for your lodging until he arrives.”
So you would be camping out here until the deed was done. A thought popped into your head, one that hadn’t even come to mind when you were given the offer. “What if he doesn’t want to have sex with me?” you asked.
Enji Todoroki paused. He didn’t really know what to say. “Knowing my son, he will.” As if that was supposed to give you any reassurance. “But on the off chance that he doesn’t, we will still compensate you for your time here.”
But no free college. The thought lingered in your mind. Of course you were doing this for the perks. You wanted to be able to make the most out of your young adulthood and part of that meant furthering your education. But you were still scared shitless by the bright fluorescent lights of the building as the grand elevator doors opened up on your destination.
“Wait outside the door,” Enji Todoroki directed at your usher, and you assumed you were supposed to wait with him. He led you through the halls and stopped at a door that's placard read “Touya Todoroki.”
You leaned against the wall and downed the rest of your coffee.
“I can take your empty cup for you, ma’am,” your usher said with a bright smile.
You smiled back and shaky hands dropped the empty paper cup in his own. You needed to stop shaking so much, but you didn’t think you could if you tried.
You could hear Enji Todoroki’s authoritative voice from outside the door and another one, you presumed him son. He sounded bratty, from what you picked up on their conversation. The more you picked up on it, the more nauseous you felt. “Is there a–”
“Bathroom?” your usher finished for you. “Right around the corner. But I would make it quick.”
At least he had a friendly smile that put you at ease. If this person you were supposed to sleep with was anything like him then maybe you wouldn’t mind it, but you had a feeling that was not going to be the case.
You stumbled into the bathroom and untied the trenchcoat, letting it fall to your ankles. You pulled your panties down and sat on the toilet, relieving your bladder. Your legs trembled. Not even you placing your hands over your thighs could stop them. A chill ran up your spine. How long had you been in there? No, you just sat down. Not much time had passed. But you should get back quickly. Enji Todoroki and his son, Touya, would be waiting.
By the time you got back to your usher, they were still arguing in Touya’s room? Office? You weren’t sure whether or not it was a bed or a desk behind the closed door.
“You’re just in time,” your usher said. “Any minute now.”
He had probably been working for Todoroki Enterprises, Enji Todoroki specifically, for a long time, because as soon as he said that, his boss’s booming voice called for him.
“Yamamoto,” he said, “bring her in.”
Your usher, Yamamoto, opened the door to Touya’s office and you tentatively stepped in. The office was spacious. A cluttered desk sat center in the room. On the other side there was a small couch facing a flat screen TV, although you couldn’t see the screen from where you stood.
And then, there was Touya. A young man with dyed black hair and white roots springing up from the center of his head looked your way. He was quite attractive. He had a much more lean figure compared to his father. He wore a tight fitting black dress shirt that accentuated his muscles, but what really set him apart from anyone you had ever seen was his face. Beautiful teal eyes, much like his fathers, stared back at you. The piercings in his nose and over his lips reflected the light from overhead. He would have to be one of the most attractive men you’ve ever seen.
“What is this,” he asked. “Another marriage arrangement?”
“No,” Enji, you think you know him well enough by now to start referring to him by just his first name, sighed. “This is not a marriage arrangement. After all, you threw aside the last twelve options I’ve given you.” He seemed to mumble the last part. He cleared his throat and spoke again. “I have hired her to take care of any of your...needs, and in return I expect you to finally pick up your slack and take part in this company.”
Touya scoffed. “So what is she then? A hooker?”
You felt incredibly out of place, and you averted your eyes to the dark hardwood floors you were standing on. “I’m not a hooker,” you mumbled.
“What was that, sweetheart? I couldn’t really hear you.” Touya snickered as you flinched at the nickname.
“Touya, I expect you to treat her with dignity and respect while you two are enacting in your...activities.” Enji turned to Yamamoto and nodded. “With that settled, I will leave you two alone.”
He and Yamamoto walked out the door and left. That was it? He wasn’t going to assure your safety any more than that? You were left alone in a strange room with this man you didn’t know who you were supposed to fuck. And you were completely and utterly defenseless.
You wish you still had that pepper spray Mina handed you. You’re pretty sure you left it on her desk when you had your initial chat with Enji. If only you had thought ahead enough to remember to bring it with you.
“So what’s your name, doll?” Touya, who was now on the couch, asked. His cheek rested on his fist and a lazy expression was splayed across his face.
“(Y/n),” you said, turning to look at him.
“That your first name?”
You nodded.
He chuckled. “So, what did my old man pay you to do this for me? A hundred k? Two hundred?”
“Free college tuition.”
His eyes widened. “Wow. He must really want me to start taking part in this company.” Leaning back. He patted his lap. “Why don’t you come over and take a seat, sweetheart.”
You didn’t want to comply, but your legs moved on their own as they walked towards him. Your butt found its place sitting on his lap and you pretended not to notice his semi erect cock pushing into your cheeks.
“Aren’t you a little obedient one,” he teased. One of his hands rubbed down your exposed thigh and up your trench coat. He thumbed over the collar of the coat. “So are you gonna take this off for me, or do I have to be the one to take it off you?”
You shuddered and he chuckled at how nervous he made you. Touya emanated so much warmth but even under the trench coat you had never felt so cold.
“Lemme guess, this is your first time whoring yourself out?” He grinned like the fucking cheshire cat as you squeezed your eyes shut out of embarrassment. “Nothing to be ashamed of,” he said with a cocky grin. His thumbs trailed up to the tie on your coat and his fingers pulled it open. “And I gotta admit.” He pulled the sides of the coat off and let it fall off of your shoulders onto the couch. “My dad has got my type pegged down to the nail.”
You were now fully exposed to the man in front of you. Your black bra accentuated your bosom and if it weren’t for the end of the trench coat you were still sitting on, you would have been able to feel the rough material of Touya’s slacks rutting against your ass.
He leaned down to lick a long stripe against the skin peeking out of your bra. “Although I wouldn’t have pegged you as someone who is this compliant.” His hands traveled further up until his fingers were wrapped around your panties, tugging at the elastic keeping them up. He moved up to pepper kisses up your neck, and you let out a sharp gasp when he bit your ear lobe.
“Sorry,” you mumbled when he stopped to let out a laugh.
He moved you off his lap so you were sitting next to him. “You’re not used to this. I get it.”
And you let out a sigh of relief at hearing those words. He was less scary then you thought he’d be. His kisses were gentle up until he bit you and the way he stroked his fingers up and down your exposed skin was comforting in a way.
But just as soon as you began to relax, his eyes narrowed with an evil tint. His hand reached down to unbuckle his pants. “So let's start with you getting on your knees to suck at my cock, shall we?”
Your body was frozen. His demeanor changed in an instant. You didn’t know what to do.
“Come on, doll. I don’t like asking twice.” Now, his hand was making its way up and down his dick. It was bigger than any you had seen before, not that you had seen many to compare it to to begin with.
You stood up from the couch and made your way in front of him, bracing your hands on his thighs as you lowered yourself down.
“That’s it. Now why don’t you pick it up and give it a few good strokes.” He guided your hand towards his dick and stroked it with your soft palm. It took a few strokes before you managed to get a hold of the rhythm. “That’s it. Now why don’t you give the tip a little kiss, hmm?”
Give it a kiss? You didn’t know how to put your feelings in words. His dick was impressive in length and width. There was a series of piercings lining the underside and the thought of them inside of you made you squirm. You leaned your head down and gave the tip a kiss.
Touya smirked. “That’s a good girl. Now open your mouth, sweetheart.”
You parted your lips slightly only to have him grip your hair and shove your head down against his length. You gagged and tears sprung out of your reddening eyes as you tried to push up for your release.
“Come on, sweetheart. Don’t you want that free tuition? If you want it, you gotta earn it.”
Gripping onto his shaft with one free hand, you hollowed your cheeks and tightened the shape of your mouth.
As he hesitantly loosened his grip on the back of your head, you realized what kind of person he was. He liked to be in control at all times, he’s the kind of person to take what he wants, and you knew that the act of him giving you gentle kisses not even five minutes earlier was just a facade.
Running your tongue up his pierced dick wasn’t as horrid as you thought it would be. You almost smiled at the sharp inhale he took when you swirled your tongue around the tip and lowered yourself onto him fully, using one of your hands to grip his balls and the other to keep your balance against him.
Breathe through your nose, you had to remind yourself.
The soft grunts that Touya made and the way he squeezed your ass may have gone over your head. Especially when he snuck his fingers under your panties and began to prod at your little asshole with his middle finger.
It took you by surprise, and you almost clamped your teeth around his cock out of shock.
“Easy easy,” he said, lifting your head off of his member. He took a moment to stare at your ruined face. Drool and slobber spilled down your chin and your makeup, which had been slowly rubbing off throughout the night, was completely gone as your tears had dragged it across your cheeks. “Look at you, you fucking whore.”
He’s right. You were a whore, selling your body for free education. What was wrong with you? And what was wrong with him getting off on this?
You wanted to speak up, but he beat you to it. “Why don’t you bend over the couch, sweetheart. I’ll show you what guys like me do to little whores like you.”
You hated how you could feel a rush of pleasure between your thighs at his words. Nevertheless, you obediently made your way over to the arm of the couch as he stood up, and you leaned over it so your ass was in the air and stomach was pressed flat against the cushy material.
Touya ran his hands over the fabric of your panties before ripping them off, tearing them to shreds. “Don’t worry about it, doll. I’ll buy you a new pair.”
He fucking better. Lace briefs are expensive for how little skin they cover. But your thoughts on the prices of various pieces of lingerie were pushed out of your mind when you felt something wet prodding at your exposed cunny. His tongue pushed past your folds and lips sucked around your clit.
Your hips pushed into the side of the couch and he snickered at how much he was affecting you. He slipped his thumb into your hole and you squeezed around the digit. “You’re so tight. I’d have expected you to be a bit more worn out.” The pads of his fingered rubbed quick little circles into your clit as his tongue dragged up to flicker against your bumhole, which fluttered against his touch. “Never had anything up here before?”
You shook your head vigorously against the couch and squirmed around as he ate out your ass with the full intent to make you cum. His fingers picked up the pace and if you didn’t have the couch to support you, you were sure you’d collapse into a heap onto the floor. You were edging closer to your orgasm, so close, so damn close, and then he pulled away.
Touya removed his thumb from inside your hole and sucked it clean. He laughed as you mumbled something about being close to cumming, but you shut up when you heard him tossing his shirt aside and dragging his pants further down his thighs. “I gotta say, after every shitty thing my dad has done to me, I gotta thank him. This is the best present he’s ever gotten me after all.”
You didn’t have time to think about what he just said as he lined his dick up between your cheeks and slid it up and down, gathering up his saliva and bits of your vaginal juices. He wasn’t planning on shoving his whole dick up your ass, was he? You didn’t think you’d be able to take that without any lube, or at least without anything other than spit.
It was almost as if he was so in tune with your body that he could hear your thoughts. “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I won’t stick anything too big up there for now.”
For now? What did that mean?
He lined up his tip with your entrance and carefully pushed his way in. He thought to himself that he’d always remember the way you cried out in pain and pleasure as he snapped his hips forward once the tip was snuggly in place.
The way his piercing rubbed against your insides caused your toes to curl. Chills ran up your back and Touya rubbed a large palm over your spine to ease some of the pain.
He was raw and merciless as he pushed your head down into the couch cushions and thrusted into you at an alarming rate. You barely had time to catch your breath as he pushed balls deep inside of you.
Touya inched one of his fingers inside your tight little back hole to the first knuckle, and curled the digit up and down as you squeezed around him. He continued to push further and further in until you let out a sob of pleasure and the pace of his thrusts quickened.
Your body felt so hot yet so cold as you were pushed back and forth against the couch. It wasn’t long before you felt your orgasm build up again, but this time Touya didn’t stop. He wormed his finger around and continued thrusting into you until he felt you squeeze against him and your fluids gush out around him.
You laid limp against the couch as he pulled his finger out of your back hole and gripped both of your hips, continuing to thrust at a hard and fast pace until he came inside of you.
There was a moment of eire silence between the two of you as he settled down and pulled his cock out. You could hear him shuffling over to the other end of the room and typing something on his phone. “Yamamoto should be up with a towel to clean you up soon.”
You let out a groan of acknowledgement and sat up. Your body was still shaky, but not with nerves. You felt as though you had been thoroughly recked.
Touya couldn’t help but laugh at how pathetic you looked. “Was it worth the free college, babe?” he chided.
“Yeah,” you smiled to yourself. “Yeah it was.”
His smirk grew wider and a more devious glint in his eyes appeared. “Good. Now next time, let’s see if we can get something a little bigger in that back hole of yours.”
Your smile dropped and you could feel any contents in your belly churning around. “Next time?”
“What,” his eyes lowered in amusement. “You didn’t think this was a one time thing, did you? If you want that free college then you gotta earn it, doll.” He made big strides over to where you sat on the couch and gripped your chin, making sure you were staring into his bright teal and devious eyes as he spoke. “That was the best fuck I’ve had in weeks. I’m not planning on throwing you away any time soon, sweetheart.”

Revenge Feels Good
Another BNHarem collab piece! The theme this time was 𝓡𝓸𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓼
Masterlist Collab masterlist
Content: NSFW, minors dni, pining for a childhood friend, annoying the neighbors, minors dni
Y/n walked into the kitchen tiredly, ignoring the chuckle of her housemate, sitting at the counter island, a cup of coffee in hand.
“How’d you sleep?”
“I didn’t,” Y/n stated flatly, adjusting her sleep shorts and fiddling with the hem of her shirt for a moment.
Tokoyami raised an eyebrow, lifting his mug to his beak.
“I can tell,” he said, clearly amused.
“And you?” Y/n asked, opening the fridge and staring into it blankly.
“I’ve found that if you bury yourself under two pillows and a thick blanket, it’s not as disruptive.”
There was a loud thud from behind the wall separating their apartment’s kitchen from the neighbor’s, followed by a loud moan.
“Again? This early?” Y/n grumbled, closing the fridge. “I’m heading out for breakfast. Want anything?”
“No thank you, Y/n,” Tokoyami said politely. “I managed to eat before they woke up so aroused. Thank you for the offer, though.”
“Unfair,” Y/n grumbled. “…Do you think the boyfriend moved in, or does he just keep staying over to fuck her hard?”
“Must you be so vulgar this early in the day?”
Y/n walked over to a cabinet and opened it, grabbing a plastic cup. She walked up to the wall and set the cup against it, setting her ear against the cup. She shushed her roommate before he could say anything.
“…They accidentally turned on the tap,” she whispered. She set the plastic cup down on the kitchen counter and banged on the wall. “Stop wasting the water!”
The neighbors didn’t answer, and the water on the other side of the wall didn’t stop.
“I don’t think they can hear you,” Tokoyami said calmly, his voice almost drowned out by another moan. Y/n put the cup against the wall again to listen in. Tokoyami sighed exasperatedly. “Why on earth are you doing that?”
“She doesn’t sound like she’s having fun,” Y/n said, putting the cup away. “It sounds really forced.”
“If she isn’t enjoying it, why has she been letting him have his way with her all week?” Tokoyami asked, slowly getting invested in the situation. There was a loud clatter from the neighbor’s apartment and the moaning began moving.
Y/n followed the sound, walking along the wall. The two apartments were mirrored, so Y/n assumed they were headed to the living room. That suspicion was confirmed with the sound of someone being thrown down on a couch.
Y/n leaned over her own couch to press her ear against the wall.
“That sounded painful,” she said quietly, turning her attention to Tokoyami as he followed her into the room. “Wow. I didn’t think you cared about this.”
“I don’t,” Tokoyami said, clearly lying. He was listening as closely as Y/n.
The neighbor moaned (very forcefully again) her partner’s name and Y/n’s eyes widened.
“That’s not her boyfriend’s name!” She hissed, trying not to laugh.
Tokoyami set his cup of coffee down on the coffee table in front of the couch, watching as Y/n stepped up onto the couch and began bouncing lightly. It was old, and the springs were creaky, and Tokoyami realized the sound was nearly identical to the ones that had been coming from the neighbors all week.
He was absolutely shell-shocked when Y/n moaned incredibly pornographically, setting her hand against the wall to stabilize herself on the couch. She was grinning like there was no tomorrow, clearly enjoying bothering the neighbors and getting back at them for her lack of sleep. Tokoyami sighed to himself before getting down on his knees and gripping the underside of the couch tightly, rocking it towards the wall in sync with Y/n’s continued bouncing. She moaned again, loudly, almost freezing Tokoyami in his tracks.
He turned his attention back to the couch, grunting naturally every now and then from the force of rocking it. Y/n looked down at him, in a loose shirt and dark sweatpants, feathers still a bit ruffled from having just woken up. From her spot above him, she could almost see down his shirt, so she turned her focus to her fake moaning, ignoring the heat rushing to her face.
“Oh, Naoki, harder!” She moaned, biting back her laughter. Tokoyami looked up at her, astonished at her dedication to this revenge. He noticed he could see up her shorts and looked away quickly, rocking the couch against the wall harder.
“Yes, Kimi, just like that!” Tokoyami added, groaning as he almost lost his grip on the couch.
Y/n looked down at him again, surprised he’d joined in. It was odd enough for him to take interest in giving the neighbors a taste of their own medicine, but to think he’d actually join in on Y/n’s vengeful nonsense was a fun surprise.
Both of them were breathing heavily by now, and their own little game was drowning out the neighbors. In fact, they weren’t doing it out of spite anymore; The atmosphere had changed, and they were merely having fun.
Tokoyami looked up at Y/n, suddenly seeing her as something other than a close friend he shared an apartment with.
They’d been friends a long time, both attending the same elementary school, middle school, both getting into the same class at the same highschool under the same conditions. There was so much history between the two, shared secrets that they could trust each other with. Her crush on that one boy in middle school, that girl he’d dated for almost three months even though he wasn’t interested, that time he came home from a party drunk out of his mind and she’d taken care of him.
They’d always shared everything with each other. When something went wrong, they came to each other. If something big happened, they came to each other. Some new secret was breaking the surface, finally something they hadn’t come together about.
Testing the waters, Tokoyami set a hand on Y/n’s ankle, slowly gliding his hand up her leg. She swallowed thickly, a quiet, breathy moan falling from her lips.
It was real this time, and Tokoyami suddenly understood the difference. The neighbor never had sounded this genuine. Y/n was right, the girl next door didn’t enjoy her constant sex.
But that means Y/n’s enjoying this, doesn’t it… I haven’t even done anything, though.
Y/n stared down at Tokoyami, anxiously awaiting his next move. She watched him, taking in everything, as his fingers slipped up under her shorts, stopping just at the edge of her underwear.
“Fumi…”
What am I doing?
“Y/n-”
He stopped talking as Y/n moved his hand for a moment, shimmying out of her shorts and dropping her panties before putting his hand back on her thigh. Tokoyami just stared in shock at the clothing now pooled around her ankles on the couch.
“Just once, can we be like the neighbors?” She whispered. Tokoyami looked up at Y/n, taking in her timid-yet-desperate expression. Despite having known her so well for so long, he’d never seen her look at anything or anyone with eyes so full of… Even his gothic poetry brain couldn’t find the right words.
Whether he wasn’t equipped to understand her expression or was simply too dumbfounded to think straight, he couldn’t tell.
“God, yes,” Tokoyami murmured. His vision was almost fuzzy as Y/n smiled, only focused in on her.
Y/n kicked her shorts and panties to the side of the couch and clambered to sit, her legs spread with Tokoyami between them.
Her heart was pounding in her chest as she looked at him. Since when did he look so alluring? He’d always simply looked like a fair boy with a bird’s head, but he was suddenly so beautiful, radiating heat and passion.
The air was thick with tension and anticipation, enough to cut with a knife.
Tokoyami set a hand on both of Y/n’s ankles, running them up her legs again. She was watching carefully, her eyes never leaving his.
Her breath caught in her chest as his fingers ghosted over her inner thighs, and she let out an airy laugh as he grabbed her by the hips and pulled her closer to the edge of the couch. He spread her legs further, settling on his knees as he ran his hands along her thighs again.
He was careful when he finally touched her, watching her expression carefully to gauge his movements. There was a stutter in her breath as he spread her open with two fingers, running his thumb over the dripping flesh, not quite prepared to penetrate.
“You’re so soft,” he mumbled, staring.
She wouldn’t be his first, but he wouldn’t call himself ‘experienced’. He’d had several partners in his life, but even his longest relationship hadn’t lasted a year. Y/n had had a few boyfriends too, but they never lasted long, and Tokoyami wasn’t sure she’d ever gone as far as him.
“Is that good?”
“Yes.”
Tokoyami finally pushed a finger past Y/n’s defenses, soft, velvety walls fluttering around him tightly. He was absolutely enthralled by the whimpery moan that slipped from her lips, and he curled his finger hoping for more. He looked up to see that her head had fallen forward, her eyes closed tightly as her lips parted, already panting. Her hands were clenched in desperate fists, unable to hold onto much of the taught couch fabric.
“Y/n, are you a virgin?” Tokoyami asked, nudging a second finger lightly against her. She shook her head, whining as he pushed a second finger in. “…Are you sure? I don’t want to break you.”
“I’m sure, Fumikage,” Y/n said, nodding. “Just… It didn’t feel like this.”
“Is this better, then?” Tokoyami asked, scissoring his fingers inside her warmth. Y/n nodded enthusiastically, breathing heavily as Tokoyami felt her tighten around his fingers. He reached up with his free hand and gently cupped her face, watching as she leaned into his touch with a soft smile. “Faster? Slower?”
“Mm-mm, just like that,” she said contently, moaning softly as Tokoyami’s fingers curled inside of her.
Y/n’s fingernails scratched at the couch, unable to grab the cushions, and she decided to busy her hands with taking off her shirt instead. Tokoyami had to stop himself from looking up and staring at her cleavage and merely focused on his hands. Ever so lightly, he grazed his free thumb over Y/n’s clit, feeling a shudder run through her whole body.
“…More?” He asked. Y/n simply slumped back onto the couch, letting her head fall back and letting out a shaky breath.
Slowly, Tokoyami stood, keeping his fingers inside of his lovely housemate as he leaned over her on the couch. They both kept strong eye contact with each other as he pressed his forehead against hers, his beak resting just centimeters from her mouth as his feathers tickled her skin.
Y/n reached up and gently ran a finger along the underside of Tokoyami’s beak, pulling it ever so much closer to place a light kiss on the top shell.
“I wish I could kiss you,” she whispered, her words followed by a long whine as Tokoyami’s fingers curled up against a particularly pleasurable spot inside her. “Right there, Fumi!”
“Where, here?” He teased, pushing his fingers up against her soft walls again. He scissored his fingers again before taking the time to make Y/n writhe on the couch beneath him. “Here? Is this the spot that makes you feel good? Right here?”
“Yes!” Y/n cried out, clutching at Tokoyami’s loose shirt as her legs started trembling. She moaned loudly as she came, curling up into a ball under Tokoyami, pressing her thighs together and pulling her legs up to rest her feet on the couch.
Tokoyami took his fingers out of her quickly, not wanting to overstimulate her just yet. He stood up straight, looking down at Y/n, curled into herself and shaking just a little as she recovered from her first orgasm of the day.
“Was that too much?” He asked softly.
Y/n replied by pouncing on him, pushing him down to sit on the coffee table. Neither of them minded his long-abandoned cold coffee as the mug fell onto the floor, staining the carpet.
“My turn, right?” Y/n asked, hurriedly pulling his swollen cock from his boxers and sweatpants, not caring to take them off first. She looked up at him with wide, almost innocent eyes. “Can I?”
“God, yes. Please.”
Y/n spat in her hand before wrapping her fingers around the base of his dick, slowly jerking him while watching his expression intently.
I’ve never sucked dick before, what am I doing? I’m not gonna be good at it, what if he doesn’t like it?
Tentatively, she ran her tongue across the tip, gathering pre-cum into her mouth. She swallowed, scrunching up her nose as she did.
“I didn’t think it’d be tangy,” she said, going back in for a second strong lick before attempting to take him down her throat.
Tokoyami grabbed her by the hair, softly, keeping her from trying to deepthroat him.
“You haven’t done this before,” he noted, giving her a scrutinizing look. She shook her head nervously.
“No, but-”
Tokoyami interrupted her by pushing two fingers into her mouth. They tasted faintly sweet, and Y/n realized they were the same two that had already been inside her.
“Don’t push yourself,” Tokoyami said gently, slowly pumping his fingers back and forth in Y/n’s mouth, pushing a little deeper each time, testing to see how much she could take before gagging. He was pleasantly surprised to find that she could take his fingers pretty deep. He pulled his fingers out of her mouth, letting Y/n catch her breath as he watched a string of saliva dissipate between his fingers and her lips. “Another time, Y/n. I’ll let you practice on me.”
“Another…? We’re going to do this again?” Y/n asked, pleasantly surprised.
“I mean, I hope so,” Tokoyami said, suddenly regretting his words. She had said ‘just this once’, after all. “Fuck, I hope so.”
“…Fumi, you never cuss,” Y/n said slowly.
“Perhaps, but right now I don’t care about a filter,” he said. Tokoyami grabbed Y/n’s hand and pulled her to her feet, tugging her close and holding her by the waist. “So forgive my language when I say I need to fuck you so bad right now.”
Y/n’s face started burning and her eyes stopped focusing for just a moment, sending a dizzy rush through her head.
“Okay,” she said awkwardly.
“That’s alright with you?”
Y/n nodded, leaning in to rest her head on Tokoyami’s chest.
“Yes,” she said, more confidence in her voice. “…Please take good care of me, Fumi.”
“Always, my love.”

Serotonin - Sero x F!Reader
Serotonin is thought to regulate mood, anxiety, and happiness in our bodies.
italicized text is meant to be spanish, however, I don’t speak spanish, and I didn’t want to try to google translate and it be wrong. Latin sero is KING though.
Nobody ever wants to be a cliche, right? But here you were being one. You became roommates with Hanta Sero a little over a year ago, and you slowly fell in love with him, irrevocably in love with him, but you were determined to suffer through it because you were sure that he would never feel the same. He was a HERO for crying out loud, a damn good one. He could have anyone he wanted, with his neat quirk that may or may not bring about not so safe thoughts, at times, and his spanish accent that would make any man or woman drop their pants, especially when he was mad, but it wasn’t just that. He was caring, always trying to save the day and people. He would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it, it’s just who he was. He was loving, especially towards his friends and family, if the pictures hung all over the two bedroom apartment that you guys shared were any indication, even if one of those friends was a blonde asshole who was the epitome of anger in human form. He was everything you wanted, and all the things you never thought you needed all wrapped up in one person. It wasn’t really a problem, living with him while being in love with him. He didn’t date because he was too busy with hero work, so you didn’t have to see him with other women, or even think about him possibly being with someone else, until today.
Today, you woke up like any other day. You ate the same breakfast. You did the same morning routine, except when you walked out of your room, you walked into sero arguing with someone over the phone, in spanish. You could tell it was an argument because of the language his body was using.
“I know his ideas are normally bad, but I can not think of any other viable option, Kirishima. I need these feelings to go away, look at her and look at me, she 's perfect and she deserves someone just as perfect.”
He angrily hung up the phone and drug his fingers through his hair in frustration, and that’s when you decided to pipe up to let him know that you were in the room with him.
“Hanta, are you okay?” You said making him jump in surprise, and he turned to you, forcing a smile on his face, but you could tell it was forced.
“Everything’s fine. I was just talking with Kaminari and Kirishima, and they said something stupid that set me on edge, that’s all. Anyways, Goodmorning Sweetheart.” You felt your body flush at the usual pet name that he gave you, it always made your heart flutter. You smiled brightly at him.
“Goodmorning Cellophane.” You teased at his hero name. He rolled his eyes and scanned the room, searching for something. You could tell he found it when his eyes lit up like a christmas tree. He sighed in relief, picking up the hero belt that he had finally found after searching for it the whole time while he was on the phone, but it was just his luck for it to be hiding in plain sight.
“I’ll be out later tonight than usual, so we won’t be able to watch movies like we usually do on friday nights. Sorry Sweetheart.” He said with his back turned to you. Your heart dropped to your feet. You always looked forward to the movie nights that became a ritual for you and him. If you didn’t know better, you’d consider them dates.
“Oh? Work Event?” You asked with curiosity, wondering what could drag him away from movie night, knowing it had to be something related to work.
“No, not this time. Kaminari has set me up on a date with a girl he knows, and I told him I’d go. Give dating a shot, y’know, get back out there in the field.” He rambled out, but you weren’t paying any attention. As soon as the word “date” left his mouth, your heart crumbled after each word thereafter. You forced a smile onto your face while your heart broke into a thousand pieces while screaming at you to stop him, tell him how you feel, but you let it break and silenced its screams, letting your brain convince you that it was not a good idea. Letting him know you had feelings for him could mess everything up, and you loved hanta, loved living with him, loved being his friend. You didn’t want to ruin that.
“That’s great, Hanta. I am so happy for you.” You were not happy. You knew you should be. If this was what he wanted, you should be happy for him, but you weren’t. You wanted him to want you, wanted him to love you.
“Yeah. I think it might be a good thing. Everyone needs someone to love them and be loved in return, right?” Yes. Yes they did.
“Right!” You said with enthusiasm that you could only hope sounded genuine. He smiled at you one last time before he walked out the door, headed to work as a hero.
Once you knew he was gone, you sighed, but it came out shaky and before you knew it, you were crying, sobbing really. You felt this sharp pain through your heart as if something was squeezing and would not let go. You knew in that moment, you were experiencing real heartbreak, and the only thing to do when you’re heart broken? Call your best friend.
It rang twice before she picked up, and if you weren’t so upset, you’d smile because you knew you could always count on the ever reliable Mina Ashido.
“Yo Bestie.” She said as she answered, her typical nonchalant greeting for answering your calls. You opened your mouth to say something to her, but all that came out was a sob.
“I’ll be there in ten.” She said without you having to say anything, hanging up the call quickly to get to you. You let your phone fall out of your hand, clattering to the floor. How could everything go to hell so fast? You were living peacefully with the man you were secretly in love with, with no problems in sight, now he was going on a date, and it felt like the end of the world.
She made it in eight. She came into your apartment with you on the couch sobbing, hardly able to catch your breath.
“What Happened, Y/N?” She asked, quietly, needing to know what the problem was, so she could hopefully fix it, hating to see her best friend in this condition.
“H-h-he’s g-g-going on a-a-a da-a-a-te.” You stuttered out between your sobs. You didn’t say a name, but you didn’t have too. The thing was that your feelings towards Sero was evident to everyone but him, and apparently Kaminari who kept trying to set him up with girls, and his feelings for you were evident to everyone but you.
“He told you that?” She said to you, all you could do was nod.
“And you’re letting him?” She asked, making you look at her. What did she mean letting him? You didn’t have a choice in the matter of whether or not he goes out on a date. You weren’t his girlfriend, just someone that was hopelessly, desperately in love with him, who happened to be his roommate. It was like she could read your mind, and maybe she could, you had been friends since you were kids, friends throughout highschool, even though you weren’t at UA or in a hero course. She’s the reason that you were able to score this roommate when you were desperate to get out of your family home. She’s the reason you were able to meet Hanta at all.
“N/N, you have two options here, and I am going to tell you what they are, honestly, with no sugar-coating bullshit. You can let him go out on this date, ignore your feelings forever, be insanely upset as you watch him maybe fall in love with this nameless, faceless girl, or maybe he won’t, but then there will be another one after her, and another, until he finds “the one,” and you can wallow in all the “what if?” scenarios you can come up with about your feelings towards him and how it might’ve played out if you had just said something, or you can open your eyes, and see that you are “the one” for him, and say something to him. Tell him how you feel. Then nothing has to change. He will either let you down gently because he’s not an asshole like our neighborhood #1 hero that is also an angry pomeranian, he’s SERO for crying out loud. He’s either gonna let you down gently, or he’s gonna return your feelings, but it’s a chance that you’re gonna have to take because I know you. You’ll regret it, in the long run, if you never tell him.” She took a deep breath after that monologue. Your tears continuously dried up as the words poured out of her mouth, and you felt silly. Why were you so scared to begin with? Was it rejection? She was right. Sero wouldn’t be harsh if he didn’t return your feelings. Was it the fear of change? What would really change if you confessed? You’d still be friends, if he didn’t feel the same, and you’d still be roommates, even if it’d be awkward for awhile.
That’s when you decided. You were going to tell him how you felt. You were going to take a leap of faith and just go for it. Mina was all about living carefree and with no regrets, and she was right, when you thought about it. You would definitely regret not telling him.
You nodded at her and gave her a small smile.
“I’ll do it.”
She sat down beside you.
“What’s the plan then?” She asked with a mischievous smirk on her face, and seeing that, you couldn’t help but match it with one of your own. Sero was certainly the love of your life, but Mina was undoubtedly your soulmate, two halves of the same hole.
“So here’s the plan…” You told her what your plan was, and she nodded along with you, agreeing with your plan, piping up when she thought something needed tweaking, and you two had a solid, doable plan almost an hour later. She left you to your own devices because she was on hero duty tonight, and she needed some semblance of rest to be able to protect the citizens at full potential.
You got dressed for the occasion and watched the clock until you knew he was almost due to clock out, and you called him.
Ring. Ring.
“Princesa. Are you okay? You never call me when I’m at work unless something is wrong.” He rushed out, answering after only two rings. Your heart soared when he called you a princess in spanish, and then it twisted in horror thinking that if you didn’t do this, that he’d call someone else that, or at the least, cease calling you that because what girl wants their boyfriend calling another girl “princess?”
“... I’m actually not okay, Hanta. I know you have a date, but can you come home before you go? I really need you.” You inhaled and exhaled slowly, trying to keep your breathing even from all the nerves in your body standing on edge.
“... sure, princesa. I can come home before then. I’ll be there in 20. I just have to turn in paperwork and stuff. Will you be okay till then?” You nodded even though he couldn’t see you and breathed out a “yes” to give him confirmation that you’d be okay for twenty more minutes.
You hung up with him and stood up, started pacing back and forth while looking at the clock. You were actually gonna do this. This was a pivotal moment. After this, there was no going back, only forward.
Pacing back and forth, time seemed to only drag on making those twenty minutes feel like an hour, until you heard hanta’s keys jingle in the slot, unlocking the door.
“N/N? Where are you?” He said as he opened the door, not noticing you in the small living room. You looked at him, and your heart clenched, in the best way. He was so beautiful. He looked tired from a day of hero work. His hair was still wet from taking a shower at the hero office, like he always did, hating coming into the apartment smelly and sweaty.
“I’m right here, Hanta.” You said making him snap his gaze to you. He looked you up and down, probably checking to see if you were physically okay, and when he noticed that nothing was physically wrong with you, he gave you a curious look.
“You’re not hurt?”
“I am. It’s just not a wound you can see.” you replied to him, trying to strain a smile, but not quite making it work.
“I don’t -” He started but you shook your head.
“Do you know her name?” You asked, words tumbling out of your mouth without you really being able to think about them.
“Who?” Sero said, clearly not realizing you were talking about the girl he was supposed to go out with tonight.
“Do you know what she looks like? Is she prettier than me?” You asked, making his look grow even more confused.
“I -” He went to say something, but you continued on with your tirade, not being able to stop the words coming out of your mouth now.
“I sat here today, and I just thought, how has he not noticed? Has he, and just chose to ignore it, but you’re not that kind of person, you wouldn’t blatantly ignore someones’ feelings. You’re a hero, acknowledging people and their feelings is a part of that job, but then you told me you were going on a date today, and my world stopped. It literally stopped because I was okay with it being unnoticed as long as nothing changed, but you dating changes everything hanta because I can’t just stand by and watch the man that I am hopelessly in love with, who just so happens to be my roommate, go on a date with someone that’s not me. Not without telling him how I feel. I don’t want to live the rest of my life with unanswered questions and thoughts about what could happen.” You sighed. Taking a breath, looking at him as you did, seeing him with wide eyes and an open mouth. He opened and closed his mouth as if to say something, but you could tell he wasn’t sure what to say.
“I love you, Hanta Sero. I love the way you care about people in your life and people you don’t even know. I love the way you try to make sure I am okay when you get home, even though you’re the one that is out there saving lives every single day. I love the way your eyes crinkle and you have a little dimple when you smile, and I mean really smile. I love the sound of your laugh. I love the way you smell when we cuddle on the couch while watching movies because I get cold so easy. I love the way you play with my hair when you think I’ve fallen asleep during the movie, when the truth is that I just pretend because I don’t want you to stop. I love how smart you are and how you continue to surpass everyone’s beliefs about you because you’re so great and no one ever sees that, always doubting you. I see that though. I see you, Hanta, and I love you just the way that you are.” You were so into your thoughts and feelings that you weren’t even aware of the huge smile that had made its way onto his face. You just kept talking.
“I know I’m not the greatest. I get upset easily, and I’m not the smartest. I’m not athletic, and I’m a decent cook, but nothing noteworthy, and there are probably so many people that would be better for you, who could love you better, take better care of you while you’re out there saving the world, but instead of dating someone that you don’t even know, that KAMINARI picked out, is it so far fetched that you never even consider dating me, when I was right here, all along? Was I not even a thought? No matter. I’m here. I’m pouring out my feelings, despite my intense fear of you rejecting me, and I’m asking you, pleading with you to pick me. Pick me, hanta. Choose me. LOVE ME. If you just do that, if you just choose me, I’ll spend the rest of my life showing you that you made the right decision, that I’m worthy of your love. That I -” You were cut off by the feel of lips slamming onto yours, words dying in your throat as the band that was stretching so tight, finally snapped. You had kissed guys before, but it had never felt like this, no one’s lips had ever felt like they were made just for yours, but his did. They fit together with yours perfectly, in sync, as the kiss went on and on, and you never wanted it to end, but it did. He slowly pulled his lips away and took a breath.
“Please. Stop talking. I wouldn’t want to choose anyone else. How have we both been hopelessly in love with the other and never noticed each other’s feelings?” He breathed out. His words made your stomach flutter with butterflies and instead of tears or sobbing, laughter, unadulterated laughter, flew out of your mouth, making him laugh along with you.
“I guess we’re both blind when it comes to feelings, huh?” You asked, smirking, and he nodded as he leaned in to kiss you again, and everything melted away, your brain flooding with serotonin.
