Camera trembling in his hands, Prompto gasped, eyes caught on the figure above him, far up in the sky, after having defeated an INCREDIBLY difficult villain - there she stood, a smile on her face. It was an AMAZING photo if he’s ever seen one, but he couldn’t bring himself to move, couldn’t even blink away from the sight as she came closer.

Truthfully, he was probably where he SHOULDN’T be, near a battlefield that had been evacuated ten minutes ago, but he had to see, had to KNOW if it was who he had HEARD was the hero taking on such a feat.

“You .... You did it.” The words slipped from his mouth, eyes wide.

“I really don’t need you to touch me. Or heal me either.”

He sighs, pulling his arm out of her grasp. He hated being touched by anyone, let alone a perfect stranger. Though she’d been kind enough to offer to heal his wounds, he didn’t feel the need to let her waste her energy on him.

“Besides, you shouldn’t waste energy on someone with a villain’s quirk.”

That wasn’t really him being cruel to himself, so much as repeating what he’d been told all his life. A villain’s quirk would never allow him to be a hero. But he tried anyway. He tried every day, every way he knew how to be a hero. But no one wanted him. No one was willing to take a stupid kid with a terrifying quirk into their agency. So he was an independent.

“Just... Leave it be. Got it?”

Some headcanons based off the most recent update

Himari’s family had no idea the abuse that was going on with Shigaraki. They had no idea that Tenko’s dad was beating him.

Himari’s grandpa did suspect there was something off with Tenko with the way his eyes were irritated. He didn’t know what, but he assumed it was a quirk manifestation

Himari was able to control her quirk easier with the help of her grandfather. He has a quirk that nullifies peoples’ quirks for only about fifteen minutes. It was because of this that Himari didn’t accidentally kill as many people. In fact, she only killed two when her quirk manifested for the first time and her grandpa was quick to stop it from happening further.

Because of Himari being adopted as a baby, she has no knowledge of her birth parents, nor does she have any intention of meeting them. She views her grandparents as her parents.

When Himari met Tenko, she knew there was something that he needed and that was a friend so she intended to be that friend.

Hana and her had been close before she met Tenko. She was playing with her often and eventually met Tenko through her.

She originally met Hana through Machiko as the two were around the same age.

Hana and Tenko were over at Himari’s house often, but Tenko’s father swore to not allow them over once he discovered that Himari’s grandparents with former hero teachers.

Before Tenko killed his family, Himari did witness first hand his abuse when he cursed Tenko for continuing to hang around the hero girl, not trusting her. It led to him attempting to hit Himari, but Tenko pushed her out of the way. She wasn’t able to tell her grandparents about it because the family was declared before she could confront her grandparents on the subject. 

Tenko had been the one to show Himari that her quirk couldn’t be all bad and that she had some hopes to become some kind of hero to others. Tenko called her quirk gentle and wished that he had a quirk that can help people like hers eventually.

Uh oh, this one didn’t look too friendly. It surprised her, she seen her face before. She was associated with the League of Villians if she remembers correctly. A pretty powerful syndicate that even was associated with Stain the Hero Killer at one point.

“Didn’t mean to interrupt anything.” Play this smart. She had no idea what this woman’s quirk was. It seemed as the Red Aura, she had gotten quite the attention lately.  “I’ll just take another route.” 

It would be better to avoid conflict with the League.

Kingdom Hearts verse tag tbt 

Toshinori had been born into a family of guards that protected the castle in Radiant Garden. This was the time before Ansem the Wise became the leader, and Xehanort had been a mere rumor. 

His parents were pure fighters, a monk was his mother, and a mage was his father. They both did their duty as protectors of the world. However, Toshinori had taken more from his mother, than his father. He appreciated learning close range fighting and only learned a few healing spells.

Eventually, as he grew up, Toshinori had befriended a child by the name of Ansem. He was a couple of years older than him. The two shared similarities between how dark the world they loved had gotten lately despite the so-called peace that was brewing in this world and Toshinori had spoken about how he wanted to be a symbol to the world of Radiant Garden

At the age of sixteen, Toshinori had met a mysterious woman after being attacked by a giant shadow creature of sorts. The woman introduced herself as Nana Shimura and Toshinori had been in awe at her light. Her power and her beliefs had rocked his entire world. 

He had found out later on that Nana had been a Keyblade master and had decided after hearing Toshinori’s motivation that she would pass the keyblade down to him. 

Toshinori, finding out about the keyblade, had been honored to wield it. However, it wasn’t his favorite weapon in the world. Like his father, Toshinori preferred to use his fists over anything. However, seeing that the Heartless hadn’t been harmed by his attacks when a Heartless jumped him the night he met Nana, had ultimately convinced him to keep training with it.

Toshinori had taken the time to use the keyblade and wield it like a natural. He had found a way to become a symbol, to all of the words. That had been his new dream.

Eventually, Ansem would discover what Toshinori was as he

He would later take to the worlds to try to fulfill his duty with Nana at his side, training him. He eventually knew how to use light and trained with that. He channeled it.

He does meet Master Eraques and Xehanort later on as well during his travels and training.

Over the next couple of decades of his life, he had found himself at his lowest. Nana had been stricken down by a black-cloaked man and later rushed to the aid of Radiant Garden where he almost met his end at the hands of Master Xehanort. A man who wanted to plunge the world into darkness and Shimura’s former friend. 

During Toshinori’s fight with Master Xehanort, Toshinori discovered that he had stricken down Nana himself and that had angered him. It is also what led to him getting the big scar in his stomach. He was in his mid to late 20s

Unlike the BNHA canon, this doesn’t make Toshinori weaken, only give him a nasty, nasty scar and a long recovery

After his battle with Xehanort, Toshinori had gone to a world after world to make himself stronger and the incident made him cut all contact of his friend Ansem. He needed to become the symbol of peace that Nana and himself had wanted him to become.

Years and years went by and he eventually finds contact with Ansem the Wise again, but this time as Diz and sees the broken state of his once home.

For years til Ansem the Wise meets his demise, Toshinori works with Diz. He meets Riku, Axel, and many others along the way and eventually finds someone to pass his keyblade down to. A young and timid boy in Traverse Town, Izuku who longed to protect other people. He saw him as a prime candidate for the keyblade.

In the current timeline, Toshinori is preparing to help the keyblade wielders in their battle against Xehanort and eventually wants to stop him once again. With his own hands this time around.

She called over to him, spotting that there was someone trying to shoot him. Rachel narrowed her eyes before using the fire from her ankles to charge at the man, grabbing him by the arm before slamming him down to the ground, knocking him cold. 

She turned to look at the boy that she had called out to move, sighing, “Are you alright there?” She asked, dusting herself off.
