What if: MHA/BNHA Characters would have Pokemons

Side Notes:

•The characters still have their Quirks but in addition (practically as support (not in all cases)) their Pokemons

•It shows "the first appearance" and "now" ("now" is without the 7th season) (an in this case: As a vhild and Middleschool)

•Excluded Pokemon are: Legendary, Sub-Legendary and Mysterious Pokemon (only Paradox Pokemon are allowed if they fit the aesthetic of the character)

doesn’t the trade feature for Pokémon on switch require a membership for the internet, since Nintendo pay walled that? (Genuine general question here)

cuz I haven’t really picked up my violet game to continue playing after I got it cuz it genuinely sucks. It’s unfinished, unpolished, and feels SO empty and lifeless. The stuttering frame rates and glitching graphics on top of that make it a trial to play with my sensory problems too. (And I say that as someone who loves Pokémon so much that I literally start spontaneously crying over Pokémon living their everyday lives in the games. I could on several hours long rants about the games and series in general.)

anyways this was a VERY long-winded way of saying: I’d love to trade you a palafin but I think the trade feature is pay walled cuz of how Nintendo makes people pay for internet features on their games for switch

hi wbk anon!!! the offer alone is much appreciated. you are correct, though, the online trade feature is paywalled. I was mostly joking with my plea for someone to trade me a palafin 😅 because yeah I think the only time you can trade without it being something you pay for is if the other switch is local, i.e. they’re sitting in the same room as you. and I’m not even sure that’s still free tbh, i think it was for sword and shield? but i might be misremembering…

you’re also not wrong about the game itself. i got this as a gift for Christmas, which is a large part of why I’m playing it. but the to degree to which this game is unfinished is actually upsetting. the graphics are a nightmare in some cases, its like playing a super laggy MMORPG. or genshin impact when your computer sucks. i like the characters well enough and i do want to know what the hell is up with the plot, but this isn’t a game I would’ve bought for myself knowing that they literally put an unfinished product on the market. don’t blame you at all for not continuing, especially if it was aggravating your sensory issues.

but hey! new thing to talk about if you’d like! I’ve played… pretty much every game? including most of the spin offs (I will go to my grave bemoaning the fact that conquest never got a sequel). fire red was my very first game for my game boy advance as a kid, and I’ve never looked back lmao.

i'm really abnormal about water being so symbolic for silver in so many ways, and a lot of those thoughts are things that i just can't articulate lmao. the thoughts are like water itself it just slips through my fuckin fingers before they could fully form.

anyway the vibe of learning to tap into and flow with the river of the earth and cosmos around him. learning how to control the wild force of a tsunami and the stormiest waters. the absolute brutal and ruthless way the ocean will toss even the mightiest and well-crafted ship. the way even a trickling brook can bring about the calmest sense, a serenity. a beautiful and breathtaking atmospheric world, rest itself. finding the connection in everything, and how it pertains to him. he is not a lone entity and never has been.

If I can have any Pokemon for a Team Sky team, not ones limited to Leafgreen and Ultra Moon

I'd have a Mightyena named Laika, whose story always makes me sad. I used plenty of Mightyena before, Shadow, Hurry, a few I didn't nickname, one that almost died to Liza and Tate way back when, confused, down to red, everyone else on the team dead, snapped out of confusion, and shadow balled the enemy, good dog

I'd keep Alrich the Archeops from my first Ultra Moon/Team Sky run, he's my fav fossil

I'd keep Breezy the Drifblim from the same game, because I got attached

If I remember correctly, Drifloon steals kids and that's a no-go, so I only kept Breezy for the pokedex entries

But then I got attached

And I will have an Eelektross, who is an electric-type, but Emmet's Eelektross is just a big, wiggly dog, and I like that

And he has Levitate

So I'd also have Mike the Eelektross from my Violet run

Then I'll have a Yanmega named Drago, my second fav bug, used in a Platinum run

And a Noivern named Jiro, my fav dragon, used in a Shield run, (yes, she is named after Kyoka Jiro from BNHA)
