donghyun knows he has you wrapped around his pretty little fingers.

a simple touch from him makes you melt and he just loves that. so when he finds you making breakfast instead of staying in bed with him, he knows exactly how to get your attention.

arms sliding around your waist, chest pressing to your back. you feel the weight of his head when he leans it on your shoulder, his hair tickling your cheek.  " you have to take care of me," he exhales slowly, smiling into your neck.

" once i'm done," a large thud from the cutting board. " i wanna kiss you," he whispers into your ear, his breath warm and hot, tickles.  you can't help but giggle at the feeling. you try to do it gently this time, cutting up the fruits.

but his head on your shoulder makes it difficult to move your hands freely but you try not to pay too much attention.

he bends down every time you do, and his hands find their way to your stomach, sliding under the shirt, and rubbing circles on your skin. " hurry up," donghyun says.

and it makes you impatient and annoyed, the way he's touching you, you need to finish this, wanting to hug him, to finally kiss him, but-

his lips on your neck. it makes you roll your eyes, gripping the knife harder. you aren't surprised, you saw it coming a long time ago. And still, it gets you every freaking time.  his touch is lingering, it stings and wet and warm. your breath caught in your throat. donghyun's lips on your neck. slow and soft and loving they trace your skin gently, non-stop.

he knows what he does to you. your soft pleas don't stop him. he doesn't hear you, his lips trailing your collarbone.  his hands slide up your back, pushing back the collar of your shirt leaving a few kisses on your bare shoulders and that's the moment when he reaches the peak of your patience

" stop it," you drop the knife against the cutting board,  a frustrated sigh leaving your list. still, it only makes him smile like when you finally turn in his arms to face him. your eyes shining with annoyance and love. " what are you doing? im trying to-"

donghyun dips his head again, a kiss to your jawline. he holds your head in place, the other ghosting against your body. and you try. you try to whisper but you fall into his trap. his lips meet yours and you’ve melted into puddles. eyes fluttering close you’ve lost, and he smiles, nearly knocking your head back when you finally succumb to his lips.

he hoists you up against the counter, as you yelp at the sudden change of environment. "it worked," his eyes shine too brightly, when he smiles, a toothy grin displayed just for you. " you can't resist me," his head shifts to the side, caressing your bare thighs before hugging your waist, head at your chest now.

and he's right. of course, he's right. you can't resist the kim donghyun. "coming?" you laugh, running your hands through his hair. 

" do I even have a choice?"

PRICKLE — (한동민)

dongmin x gn!reader genre : comfort, drabble, fluff warnings : blood petnames wc : 867

Taking strolls with Dongmin was quite a common occurrence that you did in your free time. Taking in the fresh air, walking along the cool grass, grazing your hands across the flowers. It was something that always made you calm. 

Your head fell into the crook of his neck, fitting perfectly. "Perfect time to go out, don't you think so?" you broke the silence between you and Dongmin. He nodded slowly, the wind's breeze pushing his hair. The sun's rays on his face made him look majestic; like he was crafted by Aphrodite herself. 

You take a step back from Dongmin before standing up and approaching him. "You're ready?" He was enjoying the heat from the sun and the cool wind so much that he didn't want to leave. "Yup! I want to have some ice cream and go on another walk!" You stroll about him in circles, waiting for him to stand up. 

"But I don't wanna get ice cream~" he whined jokingly. You huffed in response before bringing out your hand to pull him up. "Fine! We'll get something else!!" you nag back to him. 

You slip your hand in between his before walking along with him. The two of you walked for a while; before stopping at a nearby garden. It was beautiful. All the colours popping from all of the flowers made you want to live there for the rest of your life. It was so hypnotizing for the both of you; you couldn't look at anything but the blossoms around you.

"Look at those lotuses!" you squeal, running over to the bloom; taking a good whiff of it before moving away from it. All Dongmin could do was smile at your cute behaviour. Seeing you being happy only made him more happy even if it was something small as this. You pull Dongmin over to the roses and hold onto his arm; resting your head on his shoulder once again. 

"Remember when you got me a bunch of flowers when you asked me to be your lover." "I remember it like it was yesterday.." he heard him mumble. You hummed at his response before going closer to the roses. "Be careful! Don't want you to get hurt," he warned you as you were touching the petals of the flower. You ignored his warning and continued to touch the flowers.

"Can we get some? I'd like some in my dorm so I can remember you." you bat your eyes at him. How could he ever resist your doe eyes? "Fine" he sighed. You smiled before rushing to get a bunch. 

You picked up the first one. You picked up the second one and you barely passed the thorn. On the third one you were getting closer to the thorn and finally on the fourth one.

Prick

As you gripped your hand tightly, the dark red liquid ran across your palm. You were so surprised that you stabbed your hand with the thorns. Dongmin ran up to you and gently grasped your hand. "See! "I warned you that you'd hurt yourself." he sighed to himself. All you could do was shrug it off and continue picking up more roses. It wasn't like the world was going to end just because you got pricked in your hand? Dongmin thought otherwise.

He wasn't the one to overreact but, when it came to you he overreacts like crazy.

"Are you serious right now? You just stabbed yourself with the thorns and now you're picking more flowers?" he stared at you with confusion all over his face. "I just want a few more flowers.." you mutter as you concentrate; making sure not to poke yourself again. 

You gathered all of the earlier flowers you had collected and arranged them in a bouquet. The boy next to you picked up the bouquet. "Good?" he questioned, as you nodded, confirming that you were finished picking up flowers.

As you were walking over to the cash register all Dongmin could stare at was your hand. Little droplets of blood kept falling onto the floor so he knew the stab was deep. "You know it could get infected right?" he whispered into your ear as you waited in line to be assisted. 

You turned around, startled by the voice, to see your lover visibly concerned about a tiny cut. "Love, it's just a little blood," you comfort Dongmin as you hand him the bouquet. Lucky, The cashier notices the blood on your other hand and inquires whether you require a bandage. Dongmin answers for you, and the cashier hands you a bandage. 

You hurriedly pay for the flowers and leave with them. "Next time, you should be careful!" he jokes before quickening his speed. " Fine!! "I'll keep an eye out for the thorns!" you nagged, running after him while smiling.

He stops for you to catch up and holds your hand. "Seriously, I don't like seeing you getting hurt. Serious or not, a cut is still bad," he mutters against your skin, his head sinking into the crook of your neck. "I'm glad to see that you care for me. I'll watch next time and the times after that, kay?"

"kay"

authors note shorter than usual, you keep staring at sanghyeok and now he doesn't know how to act

he pretends he doesn’t notice. he doesn’t see it, he doesn’t know what it is or why you’re doing it.

your gaze is unwavering, head resting on the palm of your hand. sanghyeok can’t tell whether it’s intentional, or maybe a mistake. he hopes it’s a mistake.

like you’ve mistaken him for someone else.

oh and how he tries. he tries to convince himself that it’s because you’re looking at something else, and that’s why you’re turning in his direction.

but the way his name falls so naturally from your mouth makes him go insane. he’s not supposed to like it, but it just feels right.

the corners of his lips crawl a bit higher, his teeth biting carefully at his lower lip, his fingers playing with his phone.

his whole body tenses, muscles tight, heartbeat loud in his ears.

and yes, his eyes dart from one side to the other, never landing on yours.

but when he finally finds the courage to glance back at you, he can’t stop himself from staring.
