An update on the BMW M3 E30 EVO2 restoration project, as the original BBS rims have returned from cleaning, fixed up and looking brand new! Our technician Simon mounted the tires to the rims and balanced the wheels.

And as you can see the disassmebly of the M3 continues and there is not much left!

Today a special BMW arrived in a container all the way from Cyprus to Schmiedmann Odense - A BMW E30 M3 EVO2! We are going to restore it back to its prime, and especially our technicians are excited to get started on the project! The M3 EVO2 arrived in a container at our warehouse to much excitement for us all when the container opened. Because it had been stored away for almost 10 years, we carefully put two "skateboards" under the rear wheels and a pallet under the front so we could get it out from the container with the stacker - and we succeeded! :-) Then our technician Simon could dismount the old wheels and loosen up the brakes, so we were able to push it around the building and into the workshop at the other end of the building. Now it waits for our technicians to give it the restoration it deserves! We will of course keep you updated when there are any news in the project.

The size increase in modern cars is quite remarkable when you compare them side by side. The M3 is completely dwarfed by the M2 and I’d consider the M2 a “small” car.
