Happy Fourth of July from Blythe and the Colorado River! Out here, everyone is having fun up and down the river, and even off to the side on some land buggies. Today is a special day here in Blythe for me. It’s my second anniversary of moving to Blythe, and starting work at the local hospital here. Spirits are good as we continue to help out the community with their ailments and their fears. Like the rest of the world, we’re just taking it one day at a time here and moving forward. I was hoping to celebrate by going to a bar here, but unfortunately they’re all still closed! At least I can get take out from the local barbecue place on Lovekin.
