He smiled and stepped closer, brushing against her arm, “That was not a date. That was us goofing around in public. But, if you want, I could make this meeting a date?”

“Really? How?”

Other friendships I’d never know I’d needed - Goneril Capp and Gilbert Jacquet. Goneril was already his friend when I loaded this lot and she’s basically the one person he likes to hang out with without wanting to smooch her.

I never knew sims could get this fear. Is this elder sims only? I love it!

“Sweetie, you really need to learn how to bake, I mean, what happens if I die as well, what will you do?”

“Maman, just let me eat my crepes, okay?”

It’s not a Goth Meet-Up if Bella isn’t there to show off.

And then Don decided to flirt with Nina’s sister in front of her eyes of all things.

Chloe invited us to a hang out which basically is just her, Don and Nina as well as Lola and Dina, so basically romance sims or two close friends. Since romance sims seem to get along best with each other, this is one of the few “oh, multiple partners on one lot” hangouts I am not worried about.

I fucking love how gossip works in sims 2. Olive is actually telling Denise all about Cassie being left at the altar.

Friendships I never thought I’d need 1/2 - Denise Jacquet and Olive Specter, casually gossiping about townies.

We are starting this rotation with our bisexual romance favourite Gil’s list of potential love interests. Also, note that Florence is part of his rooster because of course the whole neighbourhood is still in love with her.

“-and that’s for stealing Don from me! And Nina, so I’ve heard! Can’t you just stop going after him and stay in your sandy little village?”

One day Chloe would manage to sit Kaylynn down and her the number of a good therapist. That woman had more anger in herself than Buzz Grunt!

The only problem in being best friends with Goneril was, that, no matter where the two of them were going, there was always someone of the Monty branch to fight with. And Goneril, proud as always, never turned down a fight.

“I just hope she’ll learn to stay out of this one day”, Gil confessed to Don, as he watched his best friend losing a fight once more.

“Really? I think ladies fightin’ is kinda hot.”

Meanwhile, Gilbert went on a friend-date with Lola. His most Lola-related want was to simply take a picture with her. Cute.

“I say let the boy have his choice, but make sure that he knows who is boss”, Olive suggested, “Partners come and go but you are his mother. You are the woman in charge.”

Isabella Monty shook her head, “Better find him a good match now than wait. The next thing you know, he’s coming over with the daughter of your enemy.”

“But be sure to do a firm background check”, Coral added, "You don’t  want a cheater to break your boy’s heart.”

The more time passes, the more she feels hurt in her chest. She loved her son dearly, he looked so much like his father. But what he lacked was his passion. It was the third time in a row that she had to reprimand Gilbert for spacing out behind the register. Didn’t he realize he was living from what he earned in this position?

Maybe she should start looking for a more eager succesor. A nice person to settle down with, that would have the right business sense.

Let’s just say work had been a little distracting for Gilbert. His head was certainly not into baking.
