We can not wait to see all of your beautiful sweaters! And please stop in our booth, in building A, and say hey to Kelsey (designer of the Bluestone Cardi & owner of Primrose), her husband Mark (who has fondly become known as Mr. Primrose), and our awesome studio manager Mary Catherine (who holds down the fort, and keep the beautiful colors y’all are diggin, flying out the doors). We all are counting down the days until we get to take our much anticipated annual drive up through the stunning NY mountains to the beautiful town of Rhinebeck. In a recent sit down at our studio, we had a great chat. The question was raised, “what is it that makes Rhinebeck so special?” Kelsey kept it pretty simple and to the point: “Most of the year seems hard at times. And when we get in our truck, driving a trailer filled with yarn we spent 6 months preparing for a single weekend; the drive up, the fall leaves giving us a beautiful back drop to look at, and we turn onto Springbrook Drive, and I step out onto the fairgrounds; I’m home. It feels like home, and all of the negative, the stress and worries about getting to that point, evaporates. I’m where I need to be, and that is what makes this such an amazing opportunity, and it is one of the most important things I have the privilege of doing as an artist. You can’t put a dollar amount on that feeling. The hugs, the laughter, the connection to fellow makers; that doesn’t have a price tag. You’re home.” https://www.instagram.com/p/Chu_HO_PBML/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
