Bluestars prophecy has got to be one of the biggest missed opportunities in warrior cat’s history. I find bluestars story to be one of the saddest and most impactful of all the characters and I rlly think that book is a textbook example for warrior cats. Proposes a gazillion very interesting concepts and doesn’t explore ANY of them.

#specifically I think that they should have done more w like #idk how special mosskit was to her because she looked like her sister #make the loss much more impactful #bluestar has a very serious I have to push through everything demeanor and that’s what got her baby killed #very tragic #also I like oakheart!!!!#I think they could have done much more with them he’s such a chill kind goofball charmer I love the idea that he’s a comforting refuge #from the extreme stress of her daily life #like idk water will destroy you prophecy then you fall in love with someone who knows how to tread water and swim but he also IS water #idk maybe they could have done more with her fear of water and then falling in love and sending her kits to the fucking water clan!!!!#it’s interesting!#but one of the main things I think would improve it overall #I’d change it so that bluefur is wary and hating on thistleclaw as usual #freaking out abt thistleclaw maybe being deputy #but spottedpaw confides in her what thistleclaw did to her #and bluefur now not only knows that he cannot become deputy under any circumstances #BUT ALSO. HER CHILDREN ARENT SAFE #I’d add scenes of thistle hanging around the nursery and bluefur losing sleep because she’s keeping watch #we could’ve had a very interesting story fellas it’s a shame the writers are completely incompetent #warrior cats #warriors #we #bluestar #bluestars prophecy
