Thanks. This is why I wanted to get his stuff, despite the hints about me being materialistic. We aren’t keeping much but I’d rather things go to people who want them and will use them than sit in somebody’s loft gathering dust for years.

Not to mention for those upthread: cats can jump 6-8 ft. at a standstill into trees/other tall structures. They can also run and climb tf out of them to escape coyotes, if they have claws and are active/in general good health! Y’all do you re: your cat’s safety, of course, but in general a coyote is not the most dangerous thing in a city cat’s outdoor environment. (That’s us.)

tl:dr Wildlife is always gonna wildlife. We just have to figure out how to deal with it.
