for chimera riza au, how much of her intelligence/personality is still there? I know you mentioned she's a less advanced chimera than others at the devil's Nest, but is she still more advanced mentally than chimera Nina?

i talked about it a little in another ask, she's between nina and the devil's nest chimeras in terms of success! she looks more beastly like nina but mostly her consciousness is still human. though the trauma of going through what she did makes this human consciousness stay kind of dormant and make her rely on her animal instincts a lot, if that makes sense? for the time she was with the devil's nest guys they didn't know she could talk because it's tiresome, her speech is broken and it kind of hurts to talk. she can also understand what others say to a certain extent

it's like that also because her memories from before she got taken are foggy, but after she's rescued her memories gradually come back and with that more of her personality/humanity too ^__^

your chimera riza au looks awesome ! how did riza end up at the devil's nest? do the elrics recognize riza when they see her or is she too monster for them to recognize at first?

she's taken to the same lab as the other chimeras! i can't remember if they break out on their own and only finds greed later or if greed breaks them out himself... but either way they decide to take riza with them! she's "less advanced" than the devil's nest chimeras but they still take care of her even though they don't know what her deal is

when the elrics see chimera riza for the first time they had only seen her in pictures at that point, her face didn't change a lot but they still only make the association to the person in roy's picture after when they're processing all that's happened in devil's nest, and at this point they don't know if she managed to escape or if she's dead with the other chimeras
