Finding new music. I go through phases where I’ll listen to the same song on loop for a few weeks, then I’ll go around bandcamp and stuff looking for new music and find a whole load all at once.

When someone makes me coffee and it’s perfect. I know this one is super specific but I love coffee and can’t stand bitter things, so I make it crazy weak & sweet. Most people assuming i’m joking about how weak I want it but it’s hella cool when someone does it right.

learning new words in other languages. I really love language and etymology and stuff. The only language I’m actively trying to learn rn is Spanish, but it’s really cool when I see a word or two from some random language in something, and I’ll try and remember it. whether or not I do is 50/50, but it’s still cool. Also sometimes I’ll be half asleep and just wonder how to say something in a random language, so I’ll look it up half asleep on my phone. No idea why.

cold showers. there are a couple months, usually December to February or March, when it’s too cold but otherwise I take cold showers all year round. I am pretty hairy, and hot water tends to dry it out a bit and make it kinda coarse. cold showers keep all my body hair soft and nice. cold showers are also SUPER refreshing. like there’s that initial “ahh cold!” when the water hits but when I get out I feel all energetic and fresh. I also have a really high resting temperature, so most of the time warm showers are way too hot for me. no idea why I’m like this but I’m cool with it.

videogames. super common one obviously but videogames are crazy fun. especially when you come back to one you used to play a bunch and you like fall in love with it all over again. also just playing with friends or making random friends in online stuff.
