Even for a woman who preferred the dark of Twilight, Midna had to admit: it was a beautiful day.

Perhaps moreso because of her current company, rather than the agreeable weather and bright sunshine. "C'mon, hero boy!" the Twilight Princess challenged, her voice sharp with a giggle. With a swing of her arm, she splashed him for a second time in a row, before darting back out of reach as quickly as she could while waist-deep in water. "Just try n' catch me!"

This was a good idea (granted, she thought smugly to herself, she always did have good ideas). A nice break from planning, from trying to figure out just how and why she had gotten here and how she would return to her own world, from silently fretting over how her people were faring...

Oh, to be sure, that was all this was: a break. It wasn't going to be longer than a day, at best... But she was damned if she wasn't going to enjoy every last bit of it.

"Or are you scaaaared?" she crooned, sunset eyes glittering with mischief. "Scared of losing a game of tag to little ol' me~?"

Given what she had declared the loser had to do at the conclusion of this little game, though? It wouldn't be at all surprising if he was scared. Another giggle escaped her at the thought, and she stopped playing keep-away for a moment, so as to close the space between them and wriggle her drenched form up against his.

Of course, with their height difference, that meant her bosom nestled at his collar, close enough that if he tilted his chin down, he'd effectively bury his face into her cleavage—a move meant to inspire embarrassment in him, as was her not-so-secret joy.

"Honestly," she blithely continued, "You're always running around naked as a wolf, anyways." Midna rolled her eyes, smirking down at him. "Diving from the top of Zora's Waterfall as a naked human really shouldn't be any different!"

♥ A trait of my own that I put into the character

red hair. 8| lololno. ermmm… i guess i did kind of make it a headcanon that she has like, super curly/wild/untamable hair? which… i totally have, tbh. but i think that goes in line nicely with her whole hair-hand/using her hair to channel her power dealio haha. UNCONTROLLABLE CURLS OF POWERRR 8V

♦ A headcanon or fanon I believe in

WELL same as above i s'pose lmao buttt. i've always really liked the idea of her not being born into royalty, but high nobility, instead, and having to fight since she was young for a chance at the throne - really build up her skills/train in magic, history, politics, etc, to even be considered. and then, on top of that, i like the idea that it was due to her parents putting her on this path since she was young, and her not necessarily wanting it for a long time, even when she finally succeeds and becomes twilight princess. i also really like the headcanon that as much as she surrounds herself with people and likes to be the life of the party, etc, she's really terrifically lonely most of the time because she's wary about ~letting people in~, and terrified of winding up alone without friends/family/any loved ones basically.

♣ An AU I would like to create, starring them

omg ok so this is like, super dorky, but. i've always kind of loved the idea of a noir-esque (partic something like the maltese falcon i suppose haha) detective thriller with mids as this ~omg is she on mah side or not~ femme fatale type lololol, with zelda either as her partner in crime (THELMA AND LOUISE idk 8|) or as the detective chasing her with link as her sidekick, or link as the detective with zelda as his boss idkidkidk haha. /doofus

♠ A trait the character has but I do not

um how about let's start with everything. rofl if mids was a real person and we knew each other we would just… hate each other so much omg. she would piss me off and i would piss her off AND IT WOULD BE SO HORRIBLEEEE. she's outgoing and brash where i'm quiet and cautious, rude and in your face where i'm polite and unassuming, blah blah blah it goes onnn lmao. we're just… polar opposites, honestly. i'm not sure why i like playing her so much!

§ A pairing that interests me involving them (and why)

link/midna ehehehehe. UuU honestly i'm more of a zelda/midna shipper at heart, but i really like the link/midna dynamic—how on the surface they seem like total opposites, but over time as each begins to grow and change, showing that they're ridiculously similar within (even if the way they go about things is still totally different hah).

no light, no light by florence and the machine reminds me of her the most, though more in the context of a link/mids relationship i s'pose hah. for just her alone i gueeeesssss i'd have to piiiiiick across the sky by emilie autumn.
