Chapter 173 Spoilers
All right, just as usual, the spoilers are out and they can be found here: https://mobile.twitter.com/rayugax101
And now, let’s see what we’ve got!
First of all, good news for the Blue Lock boys, that’s what we got; so many of them have made it on German Team this time!😄❤️❤️❤️
We got Yukimiya, Gagamaru and for a fresh addition that I look forward to see playing, Kurona!❤️❤️❤️ These 3 will also be joining Isagi & Kunigami, who are STILL IN!😆❤️❤️❤️
Tumblr media
Secondly, Reo, Nagi and Chigiri are all on the Manshine City Team too!❤️❤️❤️
Tumblr media
And now, let’s take it in order:
- I really like this part, on the 1st page: If you are an ever-evolving" blue prison "warrior, you can surely destroy the stronghold of Kaiser!
- Kurona is assigned a role in the defense, side back, according to Google Translation, which I also use here since I don’t know soccer positions. I’m glad that we can see his full score too, in terms of his abilities!
- if I’m not mistaken, I think Kurona is also telling Isagi that he’s gonna “play with him”? Like, work together with him, I believe; I wonder how that’s going to turn out against Manshine City.
- as for Yukimiya, he’ll be covering the left side, though I’m still not sure if on defense or offense. Nonetheless, Noa has this to say about him, more or less: “Your numbers are excellent in all areas. It's a waste to leave talent like yours on the bench.” High praise right there!
Tumblr media
- then, we move on to Gagamaru, who’s also been chosen for the team! 😄👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️👏🏻❤️ He’s been delegated as the goalkeeper and I have to say, his stats are above both Kurona and Yukimiya’s! Impressive!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I think it is exactly those high numbers that made him be picked for the position by Noa, if I’m not mistaken (or understanding the translation wrong). He seems pretty chill about being too, though I’m guessing he’s gonna get more excited once the actual match against Manshine City starts.
- of course, Raichi and Igaguri are frustrated, while Hiori is probably deep in thought.
- now, this part, from Noel Noa, is really interesting, I think: “Now, for this team, there are two philosophies: Kaiser is the final scorer for the finish, the super rational style and the other one is Blue Lock style, that causes a chemical reaction when the egoism is full.” He also says something about Kunigami and Isagi’s goal, though I’m not sure enough what he says, to write it down.
Tumblr media
- Kaiser obviously doesn’t like what’s happening now; I think he may be asking Noa whether he’s trying to replace him, to which the man replies “You understand. Don’t be afraid, Ace.” And then Kaiser’s thought process just seems to devolve into a long string of “Shit, shit, shit…” to which I can only say That’s right Kaiser, your reign is about to sink like the Titanic!!!
Tumblr media
Next, we have these amazing panels of the two teams facing eachother on the field and don’t these just look AMAZING!❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
Tumblr media Tumblr media
- here, I think Reo & Nagi are maybe teasing Isagi, a bit, about his annual salary bid, all in good spirit and then Isagi is saying how he’s sure their offers will now come in too.
- then, Reo addresses Kunigami: “I’m sorry about losing you to Shidou in the second selection. Well returned. I’m glad to fight you again.”
- we also get that one-sided emotional reunion between Chigiri and Kunigami and I’m pissed that the translation is not clear enough for me to understand what Chigiri’s telling him here!!!😫😫😫
Tumblr media
As for this part, I’m not completely sure either, but, one can tell it’s important. I think it’s something like this:
“ I am not (happy, in relation to Reo’s comment). I think you’re the one I have been fighting all this time.”
Tumblr media
I could be wrong about the translation here, better wait for someone who knows Japanese to be 100% sure.
And now, for the final page, showcasing the title of chapter 174: “Opening Shoot”!
Tumblr media
Can’t wait for it!!!

2017 Hyundai Elantra GT
    It may start out hidden, but this clever camera brings added visibility and safety to the real world. When you put the transmission into reverse, the Hyundai logo on the rear hatch flips up to reveal the rearview camera lens. An image behind the vehicle is captured by the camera and appears on the center console touchscreen.
Chrome accents run under the side windows at the beltline, extending and integrating the sleek side view. Muscular arches frame the available 17-inch wheels, and the side mirrors with available integrated turn-signal indicators add visibility, safety and style.
Fluidic Sculpture is the Hyundai design language that takes its inspiration from the flow of wind and water and their effects on the elements in nature. As you can see, the Elantra GT speaks the language like a native. Want to learn more about our cutting-edge design philosophy.
The available 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® and sport-tuned suspension offer excellent responsiveness and control. The result is a nimble vehicle that’s genuinely fun to drive.
A powerful yet eco-efficient 2.0L 4-cylinder engine generates 173 hp and 154 lb.-ft. of torque. The aluminum engine block and head with DOHC, 16 valves and Dual-CVVT improve torque and fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 32 Highway MPG.
A sweet-shifting 6-speed manual is standard. The available 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® has a lock-up torque converter for higher fuel economy at freeway speeds.
A low coefficient of drag, measured at .30 in wind-tunnel testing, helps deliver increased MPG and makes Elantra GT more aerodynamic than the Subaru Impreza.
In addition to the driver’s knee airbag, the Elantra GT has active safety features to help you avoid accidents, and passive safety features in case of one. A comprehensive Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system links and optimizes the function of all active and passive safety features, incorporating ESC, TCS and ABS in potential collision situations.
2017 Hyundai Elantra GT uses high tensile and advanced high tensile strength steel for a light, strong and rigid body structure. A stiffer body structure makes for a safer vehicle, plus it allows engineers the added flexibility and opportunity to create a car with better handling and more precise steering.
This available feature uses sensors near the windshield glass to detect humidity occurrence and automatically remove humidity on the inside surface of the windshield, improving driving safety and visibility by preventing window fogging.
The Elantra GT defies stripped-down compact car tradition with standard smartphone/USB and auxiliary input jacks, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.* The Elantra GT offers Proximity Key entry with electronic push button start, while high-tech upgrades include an available 7-inch color navigation information display with rearview camera. Plus Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ support for your smartphone.
Android Auto was designed especially for your driving needs. Just connect your Android Auto compatible phone and your select apps are road ready. Use the touchscreen or the Talk to Google feature for directions, to make calls, listen to music or send and receive text messages while you stay focused on the road. Get ready for a great driving experience with fewer distractions.
Apple CarPlay takes the things you want to do with your iPhone® while you’re driving your Elantra GT and lets you access them right on its built-in touchscreen display or ask Siri® to assist. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive text messages and listen to music all in a way that lets you stay focused on the road. It’s easy, just plug in your iPhone and go.
Blue Link® provides additional safety, security and connected convenience for your Hyundai. Access the suite of features with your smartphone, smartwatch, a web application, or the in-car system to find that next latte, lock your car from inside the stadium, stay informed on vehicle health, or call for help. In the event of an accident, it can send an automatic collision notification and request assistance. Even securely and remotely start your car and set the climate control to cool the interior on sweltering days or heat the interior and defrost the windshield on cold mornings.
The Elantra GT’s available navigation system features a 7-inch touchscreen and a unique hidden rearview camera. This system also gives you the option of controlling the navigation, phone and audio via voice recognition. SiriusXM Satellite Radio is offered* along with SiriusXM Travel Link which includes NavTraffic and NavWeather. So now you can see weather reports, traffic conditions, stock market results and sports scores—even get movie times, reminder alerts and fuel prices.
The Elantra GT’s standard audio system features satellite radio for the best in commercial-free radio. The standard smartphone/USB and auxiliary input jacks let you connect and control your music, your way.

Chapter 173 Predictions
Ok, so, I’ve read chapter 172, ruminated on it and I’m thinking about what could be coming next. In a way, we know that the match against Manshine City is going to start, but as for whose gonna be on the German and/ English team, that remains to be seen.
That being said, if chapter 173 is going to pick up where 173 left of, we’ll immediately get to see if any of the Blue Lock boys made it on Bastard Munchen now. Another possibility though, is that we’ll switch to Manshine City or straight to the match and keep the suspense of seeing who made on the German team, until they asemble on the field.
The title of chapter 173 though, “VS England”, makes me think that maybe we’ll get to see quite a bit of the match, like maybe the first 2 or even 3 goals, so I feel we won’t spend a lot of time on pre-selection.
All in all, behold my predictions:
- Noel Noa and Chris Prince interaction that is somewhat charged, somewhat humorous;
- more Isagi ribbing from Kaiser (I just got a hunch…😅);
- background commentary from Raichi and Igaguri (whom again, didn’t make it on the team);
- a tense, emotionally one-sided reunion between Chigiri and Kunigami;
- both teams scoring 1 goal each;
- Nagi scoring a goal for his team;
- Kaiser scoring for Bastard Munchen
These have been my predictions so far, now just gotta wait for the spoilers to come out and see what we’re gonna get this upcoming week!
