dude (gender neutral), I love your artstyle sm <333 !!! you totally don't have to, but could you describe your art process? What inspires you to draw and how to you chose the colors for your art?

Thank u!! Most of my inspiration comes from the media I consume, whether that be books, movies, games, etc.

I both love and hate choosing colours. I typically choose a mid tone and pick all of my other colours from there. I also try to make sure I have a balance of dark and light colours as well as different hues. And of course never use pure white and black. Instead I usually use yellow for lighter colours and blue for darker. That’s basically all there is to it.

The rest of my art process is a mess lmao. I make a sketch, colour/shade it, then draw on top of all of it until it looks good. I don’t bother with line art or keeping things neat cause I just don’t have the patience. Terrible description but that’s literally what it is. Here’s a visual

So...I MAY have been collecting Fawfuls like pokemon cards <3

(and what the heck do I mean by that exactly??) WELL in a discord GC my friend Parmy suggested we’d imitate each other’s art styles as like a collab of sorts? Well...I kinda took that a step further heheh ^^

(And fun fact...this was supposed to be something I was gonna do for AU day of Fawful month too, but that idea got cut due to time)

So may I present...the different Fawfuls I drew!! For my friends/cool acquaintances!

So the one who led up to this in the first place, Fawful from @parmsnik AU!! He is dating/eventually marrying Naspi depending on where you’re at in the AU haha! Your way of drawing Fawful seems to change a little bit each time you draw him, so I tried to my best to guestimate a consistent looking Fawf! Very cute!

Up next is Fawful from @the-spacewaffle AU!! Yippee Ronnie’s AU! Thanks for being my friend for so long,,to talk about Fawful and all that stuff y’know? I’ll be cheering you on to complete the story qwq your Fawful is always so nice to my OCs when we crossover khskdjh also...pet the Reddo!

Eee yay now it’s @snuffydoo Fawful and his AU title I totally made up on the spot! I know you don’t really have a name for that kind of thing and it doesn’t have to be canon but I hope you think it’s cute anyways haha! I had a lot of fun drawing this one!! It’s so stylized! AND IT HAS DIMMY (I enjoy your Dimmy artstyle sm) but I don’t draw Spamton very often kjhskgh

Before you say anything YES I’m aware he’s got the new design since it’s near the end of the comic, you released the page that featured said new design while I was already working on this drawing xD So whoops! I just wanted to give appreciation to your comic series that you continued despite everything, and well...I know I haven’t shown much progress on it, I also want to make a comic series...so you’ve inspired me a lil :D

Deep down here there’s a little AU by @aliencatwafers which features Fawful in the sewers! With the little baby bros!! You’re a very insightful and inspiring writer with plenty of neat headcanons and ideas for the bean! Ik you mostly draw in pencil but I took the colors from your submissions to Fawful month this year and used em here! Hope it looks cool!

This little gremlin here with the two moms is Fawful from @bean-n-shroob ask blog! He looks very silly and unhinged (in a good way) and I hope he’s having a good time since after BIS! I love how round your designs are and Fawf is no exception :D

Last but not least is this VERY soft Fawful from @localdealmaker​ and their AU, whose title I made up too (again doesn’t need to be canon or anything if you don’t want it to be, I just wanted to give every drawing a cute name ^^) I think yours was the most complicated to draw for me but I love how he looks, so squish!! Kaboo is cute too!

🙃 It’s a difficult question, hmmm I’m pretty comfortable drawing faces either facing left or right, front view is a bit tricky for me bc I don’t practice it that much

💐 Nah, they don’t fit my aesthetics haha. I like to use vibrant colors in my drawings, but my aesthetics are pretty monochromatic, most of my clothes are blue or black. Also, sometimes I dress formal-ish while my artstyle is more on the cutecore side

🦋 Do my drawings resemble me… I don’t think so but people who know me might object 😆. It tend to draw round faces so maybe a little?

I just finished watching blue lock a few days ago (22 ep in 2 days) and I honestly love it so much! The artstyle, the animation (the running one are funny but its fine), the plot and ofc the characters! You've watched blue lock too right? Who's your fav? true the manga really does understands. especially the artstyle is so beautiful how they don't show the characters all cute and pretty , they're realistic in sizes and shapes. and yaguchi oof is so relatable like -

One of my projects is actually a collab between me and @denny-nutmeg , and the other is just mine, so i’ll answer for both.

11. What are 5 things you love about your WIP?

The project with Denny is very early devloppment so i’m not sure yet

For my own i’d say: I really like the artstyle i’m building up for it, it’s really vibing with me and if feels satisfying, i like the animals i have planned for featuring in it, and, uh, i can’t think of much beyond that, i guess there’s also an idea for a gameplay mode i had that i really enjoy.

15. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve had to google for your WIP?

“[insert name of animator] [insert name of a type of animal]” and “Theropod ankle rotation”, which, btw, i did not find any good results for and i’m still looking for how much theropod ankles could twist.

17. Describe your favorite character in your WIP?

It’s a tie between Eve, a human character from the project i have with Denny, and the Yutyrannus character i made for my own project.

Eve (cisgender she/her, lesbian) was originally an SCP oc, but became just, an oc of mine because i really liked her, she’s an optimistic middle aged woman from ancient iraq,I might change her name later on to be an actual name somebody from ancient Sumer would have, but for now i’m just keeping her scp oc name. She is 185 cm tall with a dark skin tone and blue eyes (also a relic from being an scp oc).

Scary Monsters (Trans he/him, gay greysexual) is one of a few characters that pre date the final idea for my story, originally the setting was just extinct animals all hanging out in a place called “the haunted museum”, which was a sort of city several stories tall, all enclosed in a building, where speices went to rest after extinction, and the story was about their daily life. Right now the project shifted to something a bit more down to earth as far as dinosaurs scenarios go. Scary monsters, himself, is a large Yutyrannus. huali specimen, who has discovered, to his delight and the dread of anything looking in his general direction, the wonders of using blindingly colorful dyes to look like an acid, furry clown. He constantly wears a Microraptor hand puppet named Murder, who he reffers to as if it was very much alive and sentient, though it is unknown if SM legitimately thinks that, or if it’s an elaborate joke.

18. In 4 sentences or less, give us a plot summary of your WIP.

In both cases a guess a good description would be “humans dinosaurs oh shit”
