She’d gone back to playing at the club, now that her music was coming to her more easily. It was as she was finishing her set that she saw the blonde. Clearly a vampire, and clearly not concerned with keeping that quiet. Not if the way she using compulsion on the bartender was any indication.

She made her way over, sidling up next to her at the bar.

“Hey, you’re new around here?” she asked. She had to be, because the vampires from here knew the rules, knew they didn’t make a show.
