HIS  VOICE  MAKES  HIS APPEARANCE  KNOWN  and  lavender  becomes  quickly  acquainted  with  crimson-esque  eyes  .  ❝  lord  kaname  ,   ❞  she  minds  her  tone  ,  no  doubt  becoming  somewhat  careful  with  her  deliverance  .  soft  and  petite  as  opposed  to  her  earlier  impression  as  the  childishly  daring  student  .  she  smiles  and  courtesy  automatically  follows  ,  head  bowing  down  ——  she  is  aware  of  her  status  before  him  .  ❝  i  am  very  grateful  ,   ❞  maria  finds  herself  answering  as  she  extends  her  hand  onto  the  offered  glass  .  she  takes  a  sip  and  her  taste  buds  immediately  accommodates  this  new-founded  flavor  ,    how  peculiar  .  ❝  are  you  enjoying  yourself  this  evening  ?  ❞

If Tamaki was entirely honest he hadn’t expected the other to comply so easily. He was use to having to talk people into giving him something a simple as a bit of physical affection. There was no stopping the light blush that spread across his cheeks as he was scooped up by the other. Though he quickly settled into Kaname’s lap, snuggling in close and letting out a content sigh. 

“Mhmm this is the best..Thank you..” he mumbled the last two words, a bit shy though grateful that the other was willing to indulge him.

 Eyes snapped open, tears streaked across her face, body and sheets drenched in sweat. Another nightmare ━ the second one this week, in fact. She choked out a swear, the memory of that man’s filthy, disgusting, fucking VILE hands on her was now fresh in her mind and new, hot tears trickled down her cheeks. She stumbled out of bed and made her way to the door, still clad in only her over-sized black t-shirt and paying the sound of the pouring rain no mind whatsoever. Just being near a bed was enough to fuel her fear and hatred. She needed to get out.

 The rain was freezing and had drenched her to the bone within seconds, not that there was much to drench. She shivers, arms held snug around her frame but still trudging forward, eyes fixated on the ground as she lost herself in her thoughts, another sob threatening to break her down. She didn’t even see the man in her path until she collided with his back and fell straight on her ass into a deep puddle. This time the sob managed to break through and she hung her head low in embarrassment, thankful that the rain was at least good for hiding tears.

 Once she gathered the courage to look up at him from her puddle, her heart sinks as she realizes he wasn’t a perfect stranger. He was one of those prestigious night class students, she could recognize her school’s heartthrob anywhere. She shudders and hopes he doesn’t recognize her.

“What did they do to you?”

                                               “ … o- oh, i’m sorry– i’m … ”  the words are thick, trapped within her throat and unable to escape. what had they done to her ? but– she assumes they are not who he speaks of, and she doesn’t want to dig up a horrific nightmare from the past she never wishes to relive. her lips curl into a frown as she stares down at her dirtied hands. the dirt having tainted pale, paper flesh upon falling. she’d only wandered out so late in hopes of not being caught and not causing trouble. she hadn’t been able to sleep, only tossing and turning and the walls only managing to suffocate her after such vivid nightmares that wrenched deep into her mind.

pushing herself up onto her feet, yui blinks away the anxious feeling rattling in her chest for the moment. he had asked a question, and she wonders if she maybe should answer ( after all– it would be rude of her to ignore a question. ) “ … n- nothing, i promise ! t- they just startled me, that’s all. i … um, i didn’t mean to cause any trouble. ”

Mi Yue nodded to the man’s replies. “Understood...” The maid took a step back. Bowing her head and watches as her master step into the snow. She lifted up her head. Watching the man admire the snow that falls from the sky. Wearing barely minimum clothing to shield him from the cold. 

Mi Yue has never worked for such a strange person. He rarely appears during the day and works actively at night. She didn’t ask much questions about it or poke her nose into the man’s affair. Seeing the pay was good. She decided to keep the matter to herself.

The words from his friend make the hairs on the back of his neck stand. He didn't know why he was so uncomfortable around the other male these days. Perhaps it was a fear of pissing him off when in reality, all he wanted was to remain in his good graces. Naturally that impulsiveness of the blonde's often got in the way, especially where a certain brunette was concerned but he had steered clear of her for the most part. He figured, the less time he spent looking at her face, the less likely he was to say anything that could get him in trouble. As a matter of fact, she was no longer as interesting to him as the one she often clung to during the days. Zero... well he was far more interesting for an array of reasons. Still, he kept all of this to himself and as he fixed his mouth to speak up again, he made certain to choose his words carefully. After all, this was merely a good will gesture that he hoped would give him some more points towards repairing a strained friendship.

      CORDIAL BARITONE ABSCONDS against  impassive  countenance  ——   his  words  spoken  more  so  factual  than  evident  concern.  stern  yet  undeniably  regal,  there  was  no  denying  the  power  of  the  pureblood’s  composure.  (  scolding  her,  as  if  she  was  a  child  ),  maria  finds  herself  guilty  and  unable  to  look  pass  his  crimson  gaze.  her  eyes  simply  averts  to  the  ground,  as  docile  fingers  trails  after  the  loose  strands  of  her  own  lavender  hair.  silence  manifest  themselves  in  subservient  disposition,  and  she  stands  frozen  in  place.  posture  lowering  as  a  sign  of  both  acknowledgement  and  undeniable  respect.  in  the  end,  she  remains  completely  aware  of  her  own  tomfoolery.  ❝  forgive  me,  kaname - sama. ❞  soft  spoken  timbre  brushes  through  rose  palette  brims,  ❝  i  didn’t  mean  to  cause  you  any  trouble. ❞
