Distress Call

When a coworker is in need and everyone that you work in pitches in to help out especially around this time of year is the best thing ever! 

A coworker of mine is undergoing treatment at Roswell and around this time of year last year lost her father. Another coworker of mine put the word out to everyone at my job with the help of some others and myself to see if we could get some money together to get a gift card, a card, some flowers and a few other things just to show her that we love her and that we care for her well being. 

Some of us have offered her rides to and from her appointments over the last few months as well as a shoulder and a listening ear for when she needed one. We are always checking in with her and letting her know that we are here if she needs us for anything. That we may not always check in and question her about her about how things are going but that is because we may not know how many times that day she has already spoken about what is going on or if she has recently gotten any bad news. So we want to leave that door open to her to come to us to let us know on her own time when she is ready.
