Blood! was a Saturday morning cartoon from 1998 based on the popular computer game Blood. Together with his wisecracking skull staff, Caleb had to battle monsters to save his friends from the evil Tchernobog. Only one episode aired after parents complained it was way too violent for kids.

I'm ngl gang as much as I love Caleb, Ishmael interests me the most of the cast.

I feel like the reason he has such undying devotion and loyalty to Tchernobog is because I think he views him as the one to have taken him out of the circus, the place that caused him so much distress and agony. So, with him viewing Tchernobog as the person who helped save him from an abusive area, I think he sees that as a reason as why he has to stay so loyal and devoted to him is that he's like forever in his dept for saving him from such an awful place. But I feel like he sees it less in a "I *have* to do this against my will" and more so like "I am so thankful that I have to do this for how thankful I am, to show how appriciated I feel for this".

Anyways, I think I am forgetting some things and also this based of what I read from the wiki and I didn't read the entire thing I only got down to the part when it talks about when he was casted to die by Tchernobog and nothing more. so if in Blood 2 it goes more into his character then oops my bad man! anyways, hope you guys liked this stupid lil post about blood lol

And thats Caleb.

He was the main character in Blood. One of the games in the holy trinity of Build games.

The dude killed multiple demonic creatures and at the end of the first game

Killed so many members of a cult it was practically destroyed by the time the game was over

He killed a flying stone gargoyle, Cerberus, two giant spiders, and a dark-fucking-lord!

This all happened because the god you kill at the end of the game, Tchernobog, killed your fellow Chosen which included Caleb’s girlfriend! And Tchernobog buried him in shallow grave!

Speaking of headcanons: what headcanons do you have for Blood?

I’ll start:

Caleb got instakilled by Tchernobog’s insanity-and-death-causing gaze in the intro cutscene. Because Caleb is undead by the time of their second meeting, the gaze doesn’t kill him outright anymore, but it really, really hurts.

All undead need blood to sustain themselves. Zombies also eat brains to numb the pain of decomposition, like in Return of the Living Dead.

Caleb keeps his hair long because Ophelia liked it
