Susan sighed as she let herself fall on Hannah’s bed heavily. She had nowhere else to go to. Or more like no other place she would rather be.There was no way she would return to her house and there were only a few people she trusted enough to take her in. .

Hearing her friend’s voice, Susan turned around to face Hannah’s bed and gave her a nod and a smile. She then pushed her cover aside and moved tothe other side of her bed, making room for the other girl. She was relieved to have a sleeping companion on this cold winter night.

Susan had been working pretty late on some reports, a nasty caseinvolving an European traffic of magical creatures. She had gavein to exhaustion at some point and crawled to her bed. Little did sheknew that she wouldn’t get more than a couple hours of sleep. Hervery nice fantasy about this particularly fit and handsome man andherself on their honeymoon would be cut short by her very own bestfriend banging on her window. Giving Susan the scare of her week at the same time. Nobody liked being woken up in the middle of thenight by loud tapping noises, only to discover someone standing attheir window. Recognising Hannah had washed the fear away butimmediately caused Susan to worry about the reasons why her friend  had went through all the troubles of climbing through her window at such a late hour. Also why her window, and not just knocking on herdoor. Like any normal person would do. That was way less scary.

❝ Blimey Hannah ! The heck are you doing ?    Is everything okay ? You almost gave me    a heart attack. It’s the middle of the night. ❞

Susan placed both of her hands on her best friend’s shoulders and gave her a gentlesqueeze. Hoping it would comfort Hannah who looked rather panicked and Susan didn’t like that at all. Her concerned expression turned into a surprised one and shecovered her mouth. She hadn’t expected that but in a way she was a bit relieved, it  meant her friend was okay. It was only boys being boys. They could deal with that.

❝ Boys. I swear ! Such pigs. Was it Zach’s idea ? Sounds    like him.You always gets into such mess Hannah.That’s    a talent we could do without. We’ll just give them what     they want and we’ll have peace. But no tongue ! Right ? ❞

She looked at the blonde in the eyes, searching for some sign of approval and after awhile Hannah smiled and nodded at her.Taking that for a yes,Susan yelled at the groupHufflepuff boys that it was show time before turning back to her best friend. She gave her a shy smile and got closer, biting her lips. Puting a hand on the other girl’s lowerback and bringing Hannah to her. She looked a last time at her friend who winked at her making Susan’s giggle and breaking the awkward tension. She finally went for it,and gently pressed her lips against the other Hufflepuff soft ones for a few seconds.

Susan staggered her way across Gryffindor common room in a quest to find some of her friends. After the lions’ victory against Slytherin, they all had gathered to celebrate and one thing leading to another she had had a few drinks. She didn’t know most of the people surrounding her and she was feeling a bit confused. She bumped into someone and felt arms around her, she looked up to see pretty blue eyes and a cute nose belonging to some boy she had never seen before.

❝Have you seen Hannah ?❞ She asked the attractive boy. ❝Who ?❞ 

❝My best friend ! She’s about that height.❞  She motioned to his shoulders. ❝She’s blonde with piggy tails. And she’s super pretty.❞ She grinned before stumbling again. ❝Oh and she’s kind. And she smells good. She braids my hair and we talk all night long. She always eats all my chocolate but I don’t care. And one day our kids are totally going to marry each others.❞
