can i request isagi, bachira, chigiri, nagi, reo, kuni, the itoshi brothers and barou with a socially awkward gf/crush who (kinda) hates kids?

like reader doesn’t HATE hate kids, but is like scared of them. kids are actually scary especially gen alpha 💀. how tf are these little gremlins watching skibidi toilet with a straight face just a short clip of it literally made me and my friends so uncomfortable we couldn’t continue 💀.

so more like she can watch kids from afar, and if she saw one in public, she wouldn’t throw a rock at it or call animal control. but talking to them? interacting with them?? HELL NO SHE CANT DO THAT.

it’s kinda like how we see zoo animals. best admired from afar, and if she ever gets stuck in an empty room with them, she’s screwed. as if talking to adults and teenagers wasn’t scary enough, their school just had to pick an orphanage/children’s hospital to volunteer at. she’s hiding in the corner watching her bf/crush deal with the like 7-year olds (maybe younger, who btw, were most likely bullying her just now.) wondering why and how people could stand those little gremlins.

(better still, if they go back to his place after the school volunteering activity and his parent(s)/sister jokingly mention grandkids/nieces/nephews and she’s like “ew i hate kids” or smth like that, but maybe more discreet idk how to tell even my own parents i hate children, let alone my (nonexistent) bf’s parents 💀)

once again it’s not that she actually hates kids, but sees them as a different species and can’t deal with them because they scare her, and sometimes bully her. 💀

ik you probably have a lot of requests but i kinda need SOME way to overcome my crippling fear of children.

Ngl this is actually so me, I love this idea so much- But the best part is the fact that I actually worked with kids for almost 2 years, and my friends club has us interacting with kids too... (I tried to do most of the characters but I had no ideas for some of them, but you can always re-request with the ones that I missed and the second I think of some ideas I'll def write it!!)

Isagi Yoichi -> Do we not remember when that one kid stopped him after the u-20 match.. Bro is good with kids, so luckily he can save you

-> He will slightly chuckle at you when you show up to this place where the children (gremlins) are at you slightly freak out, and he will laugh at you even more when your awkwardly standing in the corner because your way to freaked out to actually go talk to any of these kids

-> Has to keep reminding the kids not to laugh at you, and that your just not the best socially

-> Eventually tries to find you one of those kids who are also standing away from everybody else for you to interact with, both of y’all have something in common, you hate the other kids!

-> He will very much get confused on this skibidi toilet bullshit (who isn’t, tbh-) but he’ll sit through it so they can be entertained while he tries to make sure that your still alive in the corner

-> If you actually started talking to the kid that he sent your way he’ll be kinda proud, I mean obviously it’s not the other 10 kids he has with him, but it’s a step in the right direction!

-> If not he gets it, I mean what he’s watching with them right now is downright terrifying, so why wouldn’t the minds who consume it also be terrifying

-> Later on when you two finally end up heading back to his house he tells his parents about how you two were volunteering with children and when they offhandedly mention that it would be nice to have grandchildren in the future he can only laugh.

“Yeah.. Unless I can get (Name) to stop hiding in a corner when they see a child then maybe..”

-> He grew up as an only child and I’m assuming he didn’t have a bunch of friends when he was growing up so I don’t think he would be the absolute best with kids, but still better than others

-> The kids will be a little confused when he starts trying to teach them about business and economics saying that this was the age he started learning about running a business

-> They might end up gravitating towards you since you’re just kinda confused along with them, trying to explain to him not every kid grew up with their future of running a family company.

-> Will totally laugh when he sees how freaked out you are with these little (gremlins) kids trying to get your attention and asking if your any more fun than Mr.Business (Which they had nicknamed Reo) -> Will eventually learn and get them to leave you alone, after almost 10 minutes of you trying to hide behind him or anywhere else in this room so they can’t talk to you

-> Ends up helping them instead with other things like reading and math stuff, not the brain rot of skibidi toilet (thank god)

-> That night you two had ended up going out to dinner with his parents as they wanted to have a nice sit down meal while they talked about what was possibly coming up in the future, including your future with Reo, and kids. He smiled and took your hand in his.

“After today, I don’t think we’ll have to worry about an heir to the Mikage Corp for quite a while of time”

-> BRO HAS TWO SISTERS, One older and one younger, Man knows his way around kids, for sure. I take no criticism on this.

-> Is actually so good with kids, you now are speculating that he’s actually a single teen dad with like 2 kids or something that he just hasn’t told you about. He’s that good (it’s actually scary)

-> He will not let them watch skibidi toilet, another man who is respectable and makes sure they are doing educational stuff

-> Also makes sure they stay away from you for the most part, just because he knows that you don’t like having all those kids near you, but he may or may not send one over your way that he thinks that you’ll actually get along with

-> He wants to see what you would be like if you actually interacted with a kid, it’s his future brain thinking

-> That also brings up to the day that his parents (and his sisters) have asked you both about having children in the future, he would just chuckle and ruffle your hair a little

-> Worst person to have around kids. I mean did you see how he treated his own little brother, smh. (DROP WHAT HAPPENED IN SPAIN, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS)

-> Does not know how to act around kids, just basically lets them do whatever as long as they aren’t bothering the two of you

-> To bad kids don’t listen all that well and he basically has to keep glaring at them from where he is sat at the only bigger table in the room with you, because these kids keep trying to get your attention since they know Sae isn’t gonna give them anything, which sucks for you

-> Attempts to try something once he realizes that you're actually pretty horrible with kids, let's just say the soccer he tried to play with them didn’t go all that well.. And you may or may not have had to get over your fear a little since a bunch of crying kids kept coming over to you

-> To which he figured that this wasn’t the way to go about it so he just put on some random movie he remembers from when he was a kid, too bad it was one of the ones from his flight to Spain when he was younger and it was all in Spanish. (It’s okay, they had fun trying to figure out what the hell it said, and it kept them entertained for quite a bit of time.)

-> Once the whole future and children conversation came up with his parents, he could only roll his eyes.

“Yeah, no thanks. (Name) and I couldn’t handle one of those gremlins, even if it looked or acted like us.”

Oooh, fun question! Here’s 5 solid contenders + some bonus runner ups haha, not in ranked order… this was kinda hard because my memory is so bad LOL, but also disqualified ships where I like them mainly bc of one character/one character is mainly focused on so it feels less balanced 😭 I tried to put ships where I like both characters individually & together.

1. (Current) Nagi/Reo from Blue Lock/Episode Nagi: they have the raaaange, I adore them sm… both amazing individual characters and then amazing together! Mostly love the mutual pining & misunderstandings, they love each other SO much in a way i couldn’t comprehend finding in a series like blue lock LOOOL (re: focus on ego/individualism) and it makes them all the more special. Also BLLK releases amazing AU ideas with their merch very often. I think Episode Nagi’s focus on them has been so beautiful (visually and emotionally) and I love the introspective look into their characters!! They’re really so so in love… my beautiful children I wish for their happiness… i love that they can be silly, stupid, bratty, and exceedingly soft with each other… wah…

2. Kouen/Judal from Magi: my forever most beloved rarepair… I love a good king x right hand + some degree of growing up together! They had me from their introduction scene where Judal made Kouen laugh, and they’ve had me every since ❤️ I really loved writing for them and I miss them often. I like their gray nature, Kouen’s role as a responsible/ruthless big brother type … with a soft side… and Judal is so charming in his bratty bravado and vulnerable center!!! also their powers are amazing haha. complementary!!! fire and ice!!!

3. Naruto/Sasuke from Naruto… the OGs, my first ship ever… what can I even say about them that captures how special they are to me LOOOL god… they rewired my brain, little nena was like “wow so this is what love is” bc of them… i started writing fanfic bc of them and realized my own queer identity LOL omg they are truly my big grand first love… writing this out it’s clear I have a type for “friends(ish) to lovers with conflict along the way” LOL and they were my first!!! Truly truly… so many special first experiences here. And I love them as they are ofc, not just for what they mean to me, but god. Theyre so special haha. Friends to rivals to almost lovers to eNEMIES/rivals again who YEARN ohsxhhsjx sun and moon… soulmates… thru thick and thin… nothing can get in their way for long…

4. Jiang Cheng/Nie Huaisang from MDZS: my beautiful damaged lonely boys with a fragile thread of the past connecting u both. when u were happy. when things were ok. and now you both have no one… unless… what if… u kindled ur bond aha… I think SC has a v unique dynamic and they came to me at a time in my life where I was depressed anxious and bitter LOL, perfeeect timing. And I think my time with my friends in sangcheng fandom was one of the most special, creative, collaborative and loving times of solace I have ever had in a fandom. ❤️ Truly the importance of finding ur own safe corner cannot be stressed enough… we did collabs and ship weeks!! (honorary mention to Nie Mingjue/Lan Xichen here — also loved NieLan and running ship MONTH for them hehehe! but sc was my main.)

5. Dongfang Qingcang/Xiao Lanhua from Cang Lan Jue/Love Between Fairy and Devil: truly one of my favorite shows EVER and the romance is SOOOOO good, i cried several times. i’m willing to rewatch the show and usually i dont like rewatches… Unwilling collaborators/“enemies” to friends to lovers… so much emotional growth and healing and the lengths they’ll go to for each other… they’re silly, they’re sappy, they work thru their differences, he’d burn the world down for her and she’d die for him… sobbing into my hands whoooooo does it like them.

(… and an unofficial top favorite ship… is my Warrior of Light x Haurchefant Greystone from Final Fantasy XIV lol… a little too embarrassed and shy to get into that but. lol. not quite a self insert bc i think of my WoL as his own character and not me, but since im playing him and he resembles me a bit… lol. he’s my son! but. anyway, haurchewol is special to me too.)

EDIT: I FORGOT TO ADD MOMO AND OKARUN FROM DANDADAN!!! i just got into the series so idk if they are “ever” status as its new but im caught up on the manga and i ADORE THEM so v big potential to make top 7 in the future. theyre so so so so cute and silly and a power couple aaaaaah. insane abt them. dandadan is defs one of my fave series already for sure.

Honorary runner ups! Not in ranked order. These were all significant ships in my life but I think either too much time has passed haha or negative fandom experiences tended to dampen my memory of them, but objectively great ships where i enjoyed writing them, and made amazing friends.

- Shiro/Keith from VLD - soulmates, eternally devoted, perfect 10/10 no notes. no i did not watch the last season lol. lots of discourse and drama but got lifelong friends out of this fandom :)

- Kojiro Nanjo/Kaoru Sakurayashiki from SK8 (honorary mention to TadaAi from SK8 also) - adorable cute perfect fun. significant and great time in my life when things were good. things then became less good in fandom and life lol. unfortunate that my ex and i associated ourselves with matchablossom which wss cute and fun until it ended. got my first tattoo in mb’s honor tho (when things were still good and fun hahaha, pre-partner association. i got them into sk8 when we first started dating) and also have one for narusasu. have a bird tattoo i associate with nie huaisang also. Anyway SK8 was a great show, love my friends from it. Hated the constant drama and discourse tho.

- Hua Cheng/Xie Lian and Feng Xin/Mu Qing from TGCF - both lovely and wonderful ships but i think time passed & my energy for them faded and while they will forever be special to me idk abt favorite of all time… tgcf fandom was a mess lol. didnt stay long.

- Wen Kexing/Zhou Zishu: very fun! I should read the novels and then likely they can become a Top 7 forever favorite haha… I’m very fond of them.

- Shizou Heiwajima/Izaya Orihara from Durarara: maybe my second ? big ship ever after narusasu :) durarara novels influenced my writing style early on! they’re amazing and unique and this mainly is a time thing - its been… 10 yrs since my shizaya era :0

sans’ corner: Hi! So technically the event is already closed, but since I am still writing for it, I’ll be making an exception for it this time! Warning that Oliver is a cocky bastard. Enjoy!

“..ver. Oliver?” 

“Mh,” the sleepy man mumbles, stirring in the bed, eyes closed and groaning. He shuffles in the bed, taking covers with him, trying to get away from the disturbance you are making. 

“Oliver!” you whisper, screaming. 

“Ehm, whut?” Oliver then manages, head in the pillow he is holding and mind foggy. Not that you blame him, at least not entirely, since it’s the middle of the night but you have been awake just a little too long to let this situation go on, and let Oliver sleep blissfully. 

You sigh heavily, because his eyelids are still closed, but he is trying to keep himself awake long enough to hear you out. 

“Can you give me my pillow back? I’m dying over here,” you then ask him, trying to be as calm as possible, and just let Oliver do his processing before trying to argue with a sleeping man who is just a damn pillow-hogger. 

“Give you..back, what?” Oliver shuffles once again and for the first time since this altercation started you find yourself facing him and his heterochromatically mesmerising eyes. He blinks a couple of times, with sleep still clouding his pupils, but he is definitely starting to make sense of the situation. Being as smart as he is, Oliver does not lose the occasion to smile at you, his lips crinkling in the process. 

“My pillow Oliver. The one that you jealously holding onto right about now,” you explain, and Oliver does a double take on what is in his hands, which he does identify as your pillow, the one missing from below you head. 

“Oh, sorry, I did not notice I took yours instead,” he fumbles, and finally unlocks his arms from the pillow, which is all squashed in the middle, but at least now you don’t have to lay on the mattress alone. But Oliver is still looking at you, and you head spins for a minute. Every second that passes, Oliver is honing his waking instincts, and you are not exactly rearing for a smart confrontation at the moment. You’re sleepy, and even fully awake and operating Oliver always finds a way to turn the tables on you, and you have no idea whether it is because you are weak for him or because he is just that much of a bitch. 

“But you know..” He begins and you instantly know that whatever it is that will come out of his mouth will make your skin crawl or just give you second hand embarrassment, which is something Oliver seems to never be suffering from. Lucky him, because his cringey sentence are something that affect you more than him, and you do wonder where does he find the courage to say stuff like that without being ashamed of it. 

“..you could have just used me a pillow.” Oliver ends up saying, smirk full on display, and leaning towards you. He does not leave me much of a choice when he takes you into his arms, and you head ends up resting on his broad and firm chest. 

“Better?” he asks, as if he does not know and wants you to tell him hoe good does it feel. Asshole. 

“I prefer my pillow, but I guess it’s still better than nothing,” you egg him on, but Oliver just laughs and holds you a bit tighter against him. And it’s true that this is better than nothing, and that a ragged breath comes out of your mouth because this is so much better than nothing, and Oliver knows it too. Which you cannot exactly afford, considering all the leverage he has against you - but as you are weak, you allow yourself to be held and sleep using Oliver as your personal pillow. In the end, this is just one of the many battles you lost, against the man who loves holding you to sleep.

I have been swamped with juggling school staring again, family, and that friend stuff I told you abt. And the only free time I’ve had is watching TR. I HAVENT EVEN WATCHED THE LATEST BLLK EPISODE YET AND I WANNA SOB BECAUSE ITS THE POST-BACHISAGI BREAKUP EP 😭😭😭. I’ve just had no energy at the end of the day and every time I think I finally have time to respond back to you something always comes up and I wanna tear my hair out. I PROMISE I HAVENT BEEN IGNORING YOU LOVE. But I understand if you’re upset at me and I’m sorry Belle.

I was furious like my blood was boiling when I saw your fic got flagged down. Like what is wrong with people??? Can you not just let other people be and keep your negativity to yourself??? Just because you’re falling doesn’t mean you have to drag others with you asshole. Seriously. You did not deserve that and being so angry and upset over it (with it happening AGAIN and it not even being the FIRST time unwarranted) is completely understandable, I’d be pissed too. I still am actually. It’s so frustrating working so hard on something and then getting pointless hate for it like get a life and stay away from me. 😤😤😒

On another note, I have been getting SO MUCH Tokyo Revengers content the past few days and that has been my only relief from this hectic week. Im being fed so well girl. Starry!! Ofc I’m not upset with you! You’re usually very active on my blog, so I figured something must’ve come up cause you were away. I wanted to drop in your askbox; but I could find it so I decided to tag you in my posts instead to see if you’re doing alright and you’re doing well so I’m relieved <3

Tumblr has been acting wonky :/ - literally. I had to write to staff about my posts not showing up in the tags and all they did was delete it?

I figured since it was taking so long, I might as well just shift to ao3 and my work has been good so far - working on a yandere rin wip and I’m about 2k words in but since Uni and work keeps getting in the way, i can’t finish it as fast. But. Ik for the fact that this’ll be worth the wait cause. You’ll see 😏

As for my works getting flagged down, it is an inconvenience, but with every work that does get flagged down - people on the other side of the screen are just proving the fact that they can’t keep up with my writing or the fact that my content is well received and I get mostly healthy interactions. I was pretty angry with it, but then I just decided to take it to ao3 instead and I had been thinking about this for months. I take that this was a sign that I should do it and not leave it as a plan cause tumblr has turned toxic over a period of time, among authors and readers alike. So why not minimize the trouble for everyone go somewhere better? Ao3 had really good content;

More plot leaning and good story lines with occasional smut, and both sides are really chilled out. Plus another thing that disappoints me about tumblr is that smut sells really fast here and even Twitter links get more likes than actual writing. And after thinking over it for a while - I realized that my writings are more to do with things human along with lust than just purely writing about lust yk? So in short, my work isn’t meant for tumblr. And I’m not a very interactive author either - I don’t reblog much works and neither do I have any author I can personally recommend cause I stopped reading fanfics here about 2 years ago and I don’t even check the tags anymore since then, only to see if my work showed up or not. but anyway- i made my moveout official still gonna answer asks and host events here tho - and talk to anyone about stuff in general

now talking about tokyo rev, super happy about the new season coming out and honestly? this is the fastest i've seen them make it cause JJBA fans- ykw i'm talking about. Had to wait so long just for stone ocean part 2 to come out And i'm really looking forward to watching vinland saga (cause that's out and istg - canute is such a pretty boy, this is that one anime that made me cry cause Askeladd. nvm I don't wanna give spoilers) AND YES! you did make it to the matchup event !! (i got your ask) as for the character ask i had fun with it as well - Some of the highlight questions I liked; one of them was a question for Rin, asking if (y/n) was single? and istg the way i laughed cause the way he would have a look on his face after that, Bachira is a ray of sunshine to have - such a cutie (>///<) [take your time on working starry! There’s not rush! Ik how annoying it is to get interrupted when you’re writing something] And tysm for your kind words !! Seriously though I should be thanking you guys for giving me your support esp you starry - cause you were one of the first anons along with blue to actually make a convo on my blog and it kinda made other people wanna talk as well (҂ ꒦ິヮ꒦ິ) And no! I cut my hair shorter too, its an undercut with a pixie so now i look like a fem ver of corpse - And i re-watched some of my old animes - like i had the urge to watch devilman crybaby this week and i did. the only reason i watched that anime was cause of the clip i saw of Akira's... on the ceiling... (ikyk), rewatched death note - cause i wanted to see L and honestly L is THE emo king. (yeah i had a whole emo phase before turning into a dark academia/ classic aesthetic gal -) and alot of people are getting into tokyo ghoul - *finished the whole manga collection at the age of 14* As for gym... story time. I was busy lifting weights and this man. he is muscular sure, got bulging biceps and a lean body and yet. he had the audacity to chase me out of my corner in the gym and take it instead to lift his weights. He looked at me dead in the eye and gave me the meanest look possible. I couldn't take him seriously cause... he was shorter than me... *not size shaming i swear but when you look at me like that - i can't take you seriously* Me : I do not care if you're more macho than me, I will throw you across the gym, you tiny tiny man. And I just finished another whole bottle of water - hope you’re doing well starry! *sending hugs back*
